Chapter 38 : Handcuffed!

Randhir and Sanyukta stood there glaring each other. Whereas others were astonished to see that what their great Vardhan sir has done and were analysing the situation. All knew that the things between them weren't great and thought who would be alive till the end of the day.

Vishad : Wow.. who would have thought Vardhan sir would do this.

Joy : Totally! Now our two smarties are pretty stuck up.

Tanya : I hope they don't kill one another till the end.

Kritika : Exactly!!! Now let's attend class as basically we can't practice.

All : Yup!!

Joy : Vishad lets bet!! Whom do you think will be alive by evening??

Vishad : Sanyukta.

Joy : I go for Randhir!!

Vishad : Lets see then!!

Tanya : You both dummies.. lets go!!!

All went leaving Randhir and Sanyukta behind.

Sanyukta : It's all because of you. Who the hell told you to say that we ain't comfortable and all to sir. If you hadn't told sir all that stupid stuff we wouldn't have landed up in this... uhh.. why me!

Randhir : Excuse me?? Even I am stuck here with you... the unwanted person in my life. And even you could have said anything rather than standing like a statue there. Tell me... what else should I have told him?? That we don't talk because you.. his favourite... Miss Topper.. betrayed me and left me when I needed her.

S (angrily) : Don't talk to me like that when you don't know about the things.

R : As if!! I know what you are so stop pretending at least in front of me.

S : You know what! Forget it.. its useless to talk to you I better go to class.

Sanyukta started moving completely forgetting about the cuffs only to be stopped by him due to his grip.

R : And they call you a topper who can't even remember that she had been cuffed to someone just few minutes back!

S : Stop the sarcasm and let's go to class.

Randhir agreed to this and they started walking towards the class. All were looking at them astonished. Some of the people were looking at them in awe as they were looking cute and perfect together whereas some girls gave Sanyukta an envious look as she was walking with the hottest guy of the college while some boys were looking at Randhir with jealousy evident on their face as he was walking with the diva of the college. Ignoring the gazes they walked towards the class.

In the class also they ended up fighting because Randhir's right hand was cuffed and the person who had never made notes was purposely making notes today thus pushing Sanyukta's hand more than necessary and disturbing her which led to a pushing competition between them and ended being thrown out of the class whereas the other group members gave a look saying Nothing-Can-Happen-Of-These-Two!

Soon they found themselves in the canteen as they were famished and attending lecture would lead them to be thrown out only because of their continuous fights. But even here they couldn't sit silently resulting food and drinks and spilled on the floor.

S : You know you should learn some eating manners.

R : Thanks for the suggestion. But you know everyday my hand isn't stuck up with a bimbo like you.

S : Huh.. me and a bimbo... please the girls who drool over you are bimbos unlike me.

R : Last I remember even you were head over heels drooling over me.

S : As if you didn't used to...

Later on they both realised what they were speaking and stood there in silence and walked towards the locker room lost in there own thoughts.

Sanyukta opened locker and fixed her hair and a little bit of make up here and there and Randhir stood there gawking at her drinking down the beauty in front of him but did all this without getting noticed. Later on they moved towards Randhir's locker and Sanyukta had to close her nose because of the stink coming. She took the spray bottle from his locker and did it all over the locker to stop it.

Later on they were walking towards the basketball court when Sanyukta met some of her friends and started talking to them non stop and Randhir felt like banging his head on the wall because the girls while talking to her were almost looking at him like he was an eye candy. He literally dragged her after some time because he either would have killed himself or the girls there.

Soon they were on the basketball court where Randhir hugged few of his friends and started playing dragging Sanyukta here and there with him while playing and it was a view to watch because Sanyukta wasn't able to keep the pace with him which resulted on her falling with Randhir. Randhir and Sanyukta kept looking at each other they were lost in each other's eyes. There eyes were speaking volumes which they weren't able to speak in these past 2 years. There eyelock was broken by the hooting and clapping around them. And they stood up.

R : You can't even play Basketball properly!!

S : Well I can... only if I am not tied with a stupid like you.

R : Don't start it again Sanyukta.

S : Whatever.

They then kept sitting in the canteen to pass time and not indulge in more fights with each other till 6.

At 6.00 pm Vardhan Sir came to remove the cuffs.

Vd : I hope now you both have learnt your lesson.

Randhir and Sanyukta only exchanged looks.

Vd : I guess you didn't... lets have this exercise for few more days.

S : No sir.. now I have realised... Randhir is such a nice guy and the team spirit in him is totally great. He is totally great and I am proud he is in my team.

R : And sir Sanyukta.... hats off to her she is such a nice and friendly person. I was just not able to understand her at first time. She is totally great. Beauty with Brains I must say..

Vd : Stop it!! Do you guys think I am a fool. Better start learning to behave with each otherwise you may get a worse punishment cause I will be watching you both.

Saying this Vardhan went from there and Randhir and Sanyukta after giving some looks to each other walked out of there.
