Chapter 23 : Here We Meet Again

Both the souls were drowning in past thinking about how after 4 years of separation they haf met again and how the things changed but they pushed away from each other again.

*** Sanyukta's POV ***

I still remember how I met you back again though I was away from you but my feelings for you hadn't died and then you came back to give me the best memories of my life.

*** Flashback ***

I was in my college preparing for the prom night. The biggest prom day where not only students of our college but also other people from town would come. And it gave entry not only for couples but also to stags i.e. singles so that they could their share of love if they are lucky enough. I and my best friend Vidushi were selling tickets at the counter of our college when I took a break to have some food when Randhir entered with some of our school friends who were Sahil, Yoyo and Rehan (unfortunately my ex). Vidushi knew about my long and deep running liking for Randhir and don't know what got into her head that she called me back saying she needs help as a lot of people have came. I came and sat on my place and the first I sold ticket to Yoyo and Sahil who were going to come with there girlfriends. Vidushi and I knew them from school and we were quite happy to see them again. Then the next person came was Rehan. My blood was already raging seeing him all the past memories, his cheating came in my mind. But I didn't had to loose my calm so with all attitude Vidushi said in totally mocking tone. "So Mr. Rehan I am sure you must have come as for a couple entry. Cause some people can never be single. Am I right??"

Rehan : Hmm.. yes!

I guess I saw guilt in his eyes but the person who didn't have courtesy to say sorry can never have guilt.

Then came him. But I was so engrossed in cursing Rehan that I didn't look up at him and said "Name please!!"

And then there was silence. Vidushi was staring at me as I have committed some murder and she shook me. And then gave me
what-the-hell-are-you-doing look! Getting all confused i looked up and that's when I saw him and saw him with a hurt emotion. I quickly wrote his name and asked him "Stag or couple?"

Vidushi and I both were looking at him waiting for his answer.

Randhir : Stag!

And I could see Vidushi beaming with slight happiness and jumping on her seat like a kangaroo.... but I still kept a poker face and gave him the ticket. These four were standing and talking to us. Basically Yoyo and Sahil were only talking to us.

Sahil : So you guys going stag or couple??

Me : Umm.. Vidushi is going as couple with her boyfriend Parth and me as stag!

Vidushi : Yeah!! This stupid girl is going as stag though four hottest people of our college asked her out. But no she denied them all. Can you believe it???

Yoyo : Woww!! Four people. Why did you deny?? Like someone ha??

Me : Nothing such.. just wanna go alone.. avoiding there gazes.

They were talking when a person called me to check few material for prom and i excused herself.

That's when Parth came and greeted them all. Though Parth wanted to beat the shit out of Rehan but he ignored him and hugged Randhir. He and Randhir have been basically best buddies in the school time but after the separation they met only a few times but they knew they always have each other's back. They were talking when the guys decided to take there leave.
