Chapter 18 : Practice Session

◇◇◇ Next Morning in Practice Room ◇◇◇

All were waiting for Sanyukta to arrive as she was fashionably late!😅😂

Finally she came all the way running to the practice room.

Randhir mocked her "I seriously feel some people need to be provided with watches.. coz they can never be on time."

Sanyukta ignored him and says "Sorry guys (making a puppy face) I had gone to see Rajveer and you guys know I might be the first friend now he might be having because of his oh-so-good-behaviour all the time so I just went to have a check on him. I am sorry. (Looking down at floor)"

Kritika : Hey!! It's fine... you don't have to be sorry for that.. you were late because you were doing something good.. and who can remain angry with such a pretty face (both chuckle and she hugs Sanyukta) and I am proud of you that after all the problems he has made for you in past years you still went and met him.

Others except Randhir : Even we are proud of you and all join in the hug making it a group hug.

Randhir thought with dreamy and proud smile "Why does she have to always be so good and lovable??... Hell.. what are you thinking?? No No Randhir you can't think all this... You know how heartless of a person she is behind this facade."

S : Okay Okay! Now lets start with practice... so take positions...  you guys know it well where or to which instrument you have to go... just one thing Tanya and Randhir you both be in the middle. Okay?

All nodded.

The practice session started. Tanya was teaching steps to Randhir to which he was just following and making himself as much comfortable and perfect as much as possible. After a long 2 hrs all were exhausted and call it an end for today and sitting on the floor when a peon informs that Vardhan Sir has called them and all leave for his cabin.

*** Sanyukta's POV ***

I saw him dancing with Tanya and all my past memories were just pounding to come up! Seeing them this close and seeing Tanya laugh on some of his words somewhere my heart was aching so I avoided looking at them and concentrated on the lyrics of song though I know them by heart but I can't be jealous. Oh! But the irony is how much I want to be with him.. but I know this is not possible because firstly he hates me and secondly I have lost my faith in love along back. Its so hard to pretend to be strong all the times.

*** Randhir's POV ***

I was trying to get more close to Tanya though I had no interest in her but I was just cracking some lame jokes from time to time don't know why I felt like doing this just maybe to see her reaction but to my worst luck she didn't even spare me a glance though she was talking to others but to me I was completely IGNORED which totally enraged me but I tried to keep my calm. I still don't know why was I behaving like this why was she affecting me so much. Uggh!! This girl has been driving me crazy from the time she has met me.

◇◇◇ In Vardhan Sir's Cabin ◇◇◇

Vd : So how is the preparations going?

Vishad : Just started sir but its going good.

Vd (angry) : Just started and you call that good?? Then lets make it better for you. The annual has been preponed and it will now with the prom and fresher's night due to the problems we are having with the chief guest and I want everything ready within 2 days and I myself will see the performance as I don't want to mock the best people I have in anything. I hope I am making it very clear??

Sanyukta (gasped) : Sir! But how would be able to do it so soon.. and just 2 days for the performance?

Vd : No Miss Sanyukta! 2 days are not just for the performance but its also for the posters and other stuff that you guys have taken in hand! ***after a pause***
Listen guys I know you work also and you have only few hours here but you are the best that I have chosen and I hope you all won't disappoint me.

All : Yes sir.

Saying this all leave to practice room.

Vishad : Think guys now how we will wrap up all this so soon???

Tanya (mocking) : We all know that and we are trying to think only so will you stop shouting??

Joy : Guys! Idea.

Randhir : Shoot.

J : So we have 2 hrs in college in the morning then at night after 9 as we all finish our work by then I guess so we can't meet here in college but all we can do is meet at another place and do our work there. Whats say... umm... as due to this we will be together and do all the work fast and also practice would be possible.

All kept looking at him and he thought it was the worst idea he has given but seconds later all shouted that it is the best idea he has given making him grin.

Kritika : So guys place??

Tanya : My place?

J : No its too small you know I mean to occupy all of us at a single place and your land lord who lives down stairs would have problem.

T : Ya.. you are right. We need a place that is spacious and no one gets disturbed.

K : Umm then according to me Sanyukta's place is perfect I mean near to our work places, college and she lives alone and its so damn big and spacious. (She ended with a dreamy smile.)

V : You have been there? I mean I have always heard about her place from the girls getting all jealous about it.

T : Yes she has been there with me that's why she is telling. So Sanyukta I hope you don't have any problem and Randhir is it fine with you or you want it your place as we have no idea about it so...

R : Umm.. I am fine with any place and as I am still living in a hotel as my office has not been able to provide with a proper accommodation so I don't have a proper place for now.

K : So Sanyukta only your place we have.. is it fine?

S (after deep thinking) : Umm.. okay I am fine with it you guys can come over to my place and ya also stay there so come up with your belongings and also don't worry about food. I will message you all the address be there till 9.

K (grinning) : Awesome... I hope we get a lot of alcohol to drink!

V : Alcohol??

T : Yeah!! That's the best about her and her place she has loads of stock of drinks and those bottles are so unique I love them.

J : Ahh.. you drink that much??

S : Sometimes. I mean somedays you need it to forget about some things some memories (Looking towards Randhir.) And sometimes Aryan come over and we both just love to sit and talk having drinks so its specially for that.

J : Ohh! Too deep.

Randhir (thinking) : Wow.. now this girl drinks with other guys first it used to be only me but now see.. huh!! But I don't care.

S : Yeah. Forget that and my ladies you would only get drinks after the work is done and that too a little so that we guys don't get a bad hangover. Understand?

K & T (with sad pout) : Yes.. Mademoiselle.

S (chuckles) : Okay people now we should leave otherwise we would be late at work.
