"Seems like there's always someone who disapproves. They'll judge it like they know about me and you. And the verdict comes with nothing else to do, the jury's out, and my choice is you." –Ours, Taylor Swift

As soon as Audrey was sure they were home, she moved away from her parents, simply appalled by their behavior at the train station. Without even looking at him, she snatched her trunk from her father's hands and stomped off to her room. The girl threw her trunk on the end of her bed, throwing it open in the process. Within moments, all of her belongings had been put up. Normally they would've sat in her trunk for weeks before she unpacked, but not today. Audrey had never been more pissed off in her entire life, and her trunk might need to be ready to go if she decided she couldn't handle this place any longer. The girl sat on the edge of her bed, holding a picture she had found wedged in between the pages of one of her books. She stared intensely down at it; just looking at it brought tears to her eyes.

Staring back up at her were both herself and Draco. It was a relatively old photo; it was soon after they had gotten together. In traditional wizard fashion, the picture was constantly in motion. They kept glancing at each other, both smiling. It killed her to look at it; there was no reason he still shouldn't be. Seeing Draco like she did earlier really struck a nerve with her. She had never seen him damn near in tears in her whole time knowing him. He was hurt, and that was all too obvious by how he had been acting.

Audrey's thoughts were interrupted when she noticed her mother standing in the doorway. The girl took a deep breath, setting the picture down on the bedside table. "Yea mom?"

"Are you okay?" Fianna asked.

Audrey laughed, annoyed. Did she really just ask her that? Oh her mother had no idea what she just started. "You really think I'm okay? After what just happened you think I'm okay?" Audrey questioned back, barely catching Ginger fly in through the open window out of the corner of her eye. "You two disgust me!"

Her mother honestly was confused by her daughter's statement. "What are you talking about?"

"Don't act like you don't know," Audrey felt the rage building. "All my life you taught me to be forgiving, to treat everyone the way I would like to be treated, to kill them with kindness. Yet you two go and treat Draco like absolute crap, when the boy has never done anything to you to deserve it!"

By this time her father had joined her mother in the doorway; obviously he overheard Audrey's screaming in the living room. "What hasn't he done? He sided with the Dark Lord. You fail to recognize that Death Eaters, whether Voldemort is dead or not, are terrible people. They never change; those who claimed they were done when he disappeared claimed loyalty when he rose to power again. Surely this Malfoy boy will do the same."

Audrey swore she felt her eye twitch. She could feel her blood pressure rising. "You don't know him! You don't know what kind of hell he was put through! Draco didn't choose the life he lived; his parents did. So if you want to be mad at someone, be mad at them!"

"The boy has a mind of his own; perhaps he should use it!" Lorcan shouted. "You can't possibly tell me he didn't know what he was doing."

"That's not the point. He's changed! I've watched him struggle for the past eight months at least trying to cope with the lifestyle his family stuck him in," Audrey yelled back. "Draco is not the monster you make him out to be! And I'm going to prove that to you!"

"And how are you going to do that?" Fianna stepped between the two of them.

"If it wasn't for Draco I would be dead, and this conversation wouldn't even be happening! He saved my life in the final battle!" the girl felt herself on the verge of tears even remembering what had nearly happened. "I would've been dead... but obviously that doesn't mean anything to you. He protected me from the Death Eaters from the moment I got to his house." Audrey immediately covered her mouth, realizing she had let her leave from Hogwarts become exposed.

"And when were you at his house?" her mother demanded an answer.

"I went for a few days over Christmas break," Audrey covered herself, though she was sure that her mom wasn't going to buy that answer. She had gone to the manor for break, so it wasn't like she was technically lying. "The Death Eaters were using his manor as a headquarters. And anytime they had said anything to me, threatened me, Draco took care of the problem."

"You told us you stayed at school over break," Lorcan growled. "So once again, you're lying to us."

Audrey bit her tongue, trying her hardest not to lash out like she desperately wanted to. "Well obviously I made the right choice. If I would've come home you guys would've just chastised me further for dating him."

"If you came home we might not be having this conversation," Lorcan went on. "We could've nipped this problem in the ass before it blew up like this."

The girl sighed angrily, flopping backwards onto her bed. Audrey couldn't take it anymore. He was never going to tolerate Draco, let alone like him. "Call it what you wish. I'm not going to sit here and argue with either one of you about him. I'm an adult, and I'm going to marry who I want. There's nothing you can do about it. So you just have to get over the fact that he's going to be your son-in-law."

"Over my dead body," he snorted. "That boy won't last a second once I get my hands on him."

Audrey shot upright in her bed, immediately glaring at him. "If you so much as touch a single blond hair on his head I will personally use the Killing Curse on you. Azkaban would be so worth it."

Fianna gasped; she was shocked her daughter would even say something like that. "Alright enough from both of you. Lorcan, go check the owls. I suspect that Rupert should be sending us his weekly letter."

After grumbling slightly about the task given to him, Lorcan sauntered off, leaving his wife and daughter there alone. Fianna looked to her daughter. "That outburst was really unnecessary."

"No it wasn't," Audrey held her ground. "He needs to know I'm not changing my mind. He needs to quit being a bigot and get over his hatred of Draco."

Fianna just sighed and walked away, leaving Audrey there alone. The girl tossed a pillow angrily at the wall. Her parents just didn't get it. Neither one of them realized she wasn't changing her mind. It seemed as if they had forgotten how stubborn and bull-headed she could be. They were never going to understand that. Audrey felt like she was completely alone for once in her life. Draco was gone, her parents weren't willing to forgive, and all of her friends basically fell into one of the two categories as well.

And that's when Audrey remembered Nicole. The Gryffindor girl had recently become a friend of hers, and had been by far the least judgmental of all of her friends and family. Audrey was wondering why they hadn't been friends before the final battle. She wished she knew where she was right now; Audrey really could use a helpful ear right about now. The only place she had ever known Nicole to hang out was with the Weasleys. Audrey had never been there herself, and it wasn't like she could Apparate to a place she had never been. But she knew someone who could.

"Amaryllis!" the girl shouted to apparently no one.

Within moments, a small house elf came scurrying into her room. She looked up at Audrey with tennis ball sized brown eyes as she tried to push what hair she had out of her face. Before acknowledging Audrey, the elf straightened out her gown, or as Audrey recognized it as an old pillow case of hers.

"Yes, miss?" the elf finally stammered.

"I need you to take me somewhere," Audrey instructed. "Now I don't know exactly how long I'll be there, or if I'm even going to the right place, but I can't do it on my own. I promise I'll get you a new tea cozy if you do."

Amaryllis shrieked of joy. "Of course, where would you like me to take you?" she asked in a squeaky voice.

"Err... I need you to take me to the Weasleys'," Audrey muttered unsurely. She didn't know if Nicole was there, or how the Weasleys would react to her just randomly showing up. Audrey had never been super close with them; at most she helped Ron with an essay once, and the twins she had gotten used to from Krystie, but she had never actually dealt with the remainder of the family. "I would just Apparate but..."

Amaryllis cut her off. "No problem miss! I can take you!"

Before Audrey could add anything else to that, the elf grabbed her arm and the girl felt like she was being sucked through a tube. She suddenly remembered she hated Apparation, and wished she had just flown instead. When the feeling stopped, Audrey found them standing in the middle of a field. Not too far away from them stood a large wooden house. So this must be where the Weasleys live, she thought quietly to herself.

She turned to her house elf, smiling slightly. "Thanks. You can go home now, if you wish. I'll call you if I need you." The house elf smiled and just like that, disappeared with a crack. The girl took a deep breath. She started to head towards the building, figuring she had nothing left to lose...
