Chapter 8

A Week Later

Lucy's P.O.V

Kou hasn't been meeting us at lunch for a week now. He hasn't texted me nor spoken to me at all. Ever since then I have felt down. I am happy to have Kimi and Yuka but I was so used to talking to Kou that being away from him for this long felt strange. As I walked down the hall I saw him. He was speaking to the fellow Mukami's. Maybe I could speak to him. As his friends walked away I walked up to him. "Kou-ku-" The bell rang and in a split second, he ran. My class was in the opposite direction. I had no choice but to wait till after school.

I went to class and soon the lesson started. I didn't know what to do. Why was I nervous to speak to him? I shouldn't be. Usually, he found ways to do that for me. Even when I tried to ignore him. The moment that I thought that I might have liked him back he chose to back away.

A Week Later

I have been trying to speak to him but for the past couple of days, it's been hard. Since last week I haven't seen him at all. It feels like now he may be avoiding me. "Lucy-chan" I looked behind me to see Kimi. She handed me a flyer. "The president seems to need a new vice president. I know how much you love writing so I thought this could be good for you." I looked at the flyer.

"The writers club?" She nodded.

"I think it's something good for you."

"But why am I being possibly put in the vice president's position?"

"Well, no one else in the club wants it. Also, I feel like you have high potential for it." I nodded.

"Okay" The door opened and we looked at it to see Yuka.

"Lucy-chan, Kimi-chan guess what?"

"What is it?"

"I got us a triple date for Saturday night. How does that sound?" A date. This is what I wanted. Was this going to be worth it? Why did I feel guilty for it? Kou has been ignoring me for a while anyway so it's not like it's a bad thing to do. Why was he popping up in my head now?

"Lucy-chan?" I looked at the two.

"I'm sorry I zoned out. A triple date right? Yeah, that sounds fun."

Saturday Night

I sat at the table with Kimi and Yuka. I was nervous. I had never been on a date before. Well, not a true date. The cafe doors opened and three men walked in. I took the time to examine them. One had short neat black hair and brown eyes and average height. The other had medium messy red hair with blue eyes and a medium buld. The last looked familiar. His hair was silver and pointy silver hair except for the front, brown eyes, and a medium build just like the other two. As the three got closer my eyes widened.

"Lyon?"
