Kou's P.O.V

Lucy blushed and stood up. She was about to walk out of the room when I grabbed her hand. She didn't move. She seemed like she couldn't look at me. "Lucy", I knew she wouldn't be able to handle it. I stood up and pulled her close to me. As I looked into her eyes, I could see the same look from before. It was fear. "I'm sorry Lucy." I rose my hand to her cheek. "

"Kou too tight." She tried to break out of my grip.

"I don't want you to go. I want to be next to you." It was an excuse I knew she would be surprised by. Especially when she only agreed so I can bite her. 

"Fine" I let go of her. She sat on the couch and began to go through her phone. I sat next to her and examined her.

She didn't want to date me right? That is what I got from her. Still, I wanted her to look at me with love, happiness, and peace. Not annoyance and fear. When I brought her to my room, my normal emotions softened. Sitting next to her, talking to her, holding her, felt different than normal. To know that after all this time she still felt nothing is what irritated me. 

Lucy's P.O.V

Kou I didn't want you to know that.  When you hug me, I feel strange. Like as if you made my heart grow on you. For a vampire, you are very warm, but your warmness moves to my cheeks when I see you. I know I can't forget this but you make it seem so easy. How come I can't be the same?

Night

I woke up to feel my back was a little sore.  Don't tell me I fell asleep on the couch. Wait a minute what about Kou? I sat up to see no one there. Where was he? I looked down to see a blanket.  Did he do this? I reached for my phone to text him but saw he actually texted me last night.

'I knew you might have felt uncomfortable with having me there while you were sleeping so I went downstairs. Don't worry, I locked the door.'

I didn't feel uncomfortable. Maybe with how I acted, he might have felt so. Maybe I should call him. I called him but he didn't answer. I guess he might have been busy.
