The Next Day

Lucy's P.O.V

I waited on the roof for Kimi and Yuka. As soon as I heard footsteps I turned around with a smile. "Kimi-chan...Yuka-chan?" My smile dropped. "It's you" 

"Gee Lucy-chan I didn't know you can be so mean." I turned back to the stars. He walked next to me. "Say Lucy-chan, considering that you are focused on work, that doesn't mean you have a boyfriend right?" I sweatdropped.

"Ahhh, no" I looked at the door. 

"Then maybe we should-" I knew where this was going. 

"Kou-kun" He paused and looked at me with a blush. I patted his head. "You have a lot to learn."  I walked past him.

Kou's P.O.V

What was that? I looked behind me to see that she was gone. I couldn't let that happen. I went after her only to stop. "Lucy-san what was that between you and Kou?" Kimi asked

"Come on isn't it obvious, the two are dating," Yuka said

"No" I chuckled at her pout. She was cute. 

"Then he likes you," Kimi said

"No"

"He must love you," Yuka smirked.

"Not at all!" Lucy yelled with a blush. Kimi smirked along with Yuka.

"Lucy-san and Kou-san-" Lucy covered Yuka's and Kimi's mouths.

"Quite, you two know how angry these girls are. They might try to kill us all now." Lucy said blushing harder from the girl's words. She let go of their mouths.

"Lucy-san are you sure he does not love you?" The two asked

"Yes," The bell rung.

"Oh, no were late."

"See you soon everyone!"

"Bye Lucy-san." The three ran to class. 

Lucy's P.O.V

I was late but if I snuck in through the back I would be fine. I quietly slid open the door. Good, no one noticed me. "Oh hey, Lucy." One of the girls said purposely catching the class's attention. The teacher turned around.

"Heartfilia-san you have to stay after school. " I sighed before I sat down at my desk. This was unfair. The worst part was she was the leader of Kou's little fan club. Maybe staying away would be the best.

Class was finally finished and now I could go home. My stomach had been growling for the rest of the day since I missed lunch and breakfast as well. Not only that but I have been studying for my English test all night.

 At least after I was able to negotiate my way out of staying after school with the teacher but that required doing many tasks. My energy was just about enough to make it to a cab but if not I might just faint from having no energy.  I heard Miki and Yuka call me from behind. I am screwed. 

"Lucy-chan?" I needed to find a way to-. My vision began to blur. Dammit, I needed to go.

"Kimi-chan Yuka-chan, I have to go." I grabbed the wall. 

"Lucy-chan are you okay?" Oh no. I smiled at them. 

"I am good. I just have an emergency at home so I have to go."

"We can take you." I shook my head. 

"Nonsense-" I couldn't even finish my words before my world stopped around me. Their faint voices I heard and saw a pinch of yellow and blue before it darkened.
