Chapter 16: Girl of Hresvelg
Disclaimer: I do not own Fire Emblem: Three Houses or its characters, I only own Blythe, Celine, and the changes in the plot that I make in the war phase.
Enjoy!

Last Time:
Byleth turned around, his coat snapping as a result of how fast he turned. He walked towards the dining hall, certain that was where Edelgard was at the current moment.
Celine and Dorothea looked towards each other before shrugging their shoulders at the same time.
"Always busy, those two." Celine said to Dorothea.
The brown-haired young woman responded with a nod. "I can see that. They're going to go far. I'm certain of it."
-------------------------------------------------
19th of the Garland Moon, Garreg Mach Monastery, Blue Lion Classroom, (Early Afternoon), Imperial Year 1180
Byleth had just concluded another lesson for the Blue Lion House, as it was one of the days for lessons in Garreg Mach Monastery. The Blue Lions were listening attentively to Byleth's lecture.
However, all of the Blue Lions knew that classes were about to end for the day. The bells would toll soon, signifying the end of class.
Byleth had a piece of chalk in his hand, finishing a drawing on the board. Briefly glancing down to make sure the example was correct, Byleth put the finishing touches on the battle drawing. He put the chalk down before facing the class.
"Put a sketch of this battle formation into your notes for today's class." Byleth told the Blue Lions, who were taking notes for the class... some more vigorously than others.
Blythe finished sketching the diagram, putting her pencil down. She raised her hand in the air. The female Eisner waited for Byleth to call on her.
Byleth pointed the piece of chalk in his hand towards Blythe, telling her that she could ask her question.
"This battle took place during the War of Heroes, correct?" Blythe asked, fidgeting in her seat. "Wasn't it one of the most pivotal battles of the war, setting up the stakes for the conclusion at Tailtean Plains?"
"Yes to both of your questions." Byleth responded with a nod. He then wrote 'War of Heroes' on the chalkboard. After that, he turned back to the class. "According to the legends, this battle was the turning point in the war. It allowed for the army led by Saint Seiros to have an advantage over Nemesis's forces, setting the stage for the Battle of Tailtean Plains."
Byleth walked over to his desk at the back of the room. He picked up a stack of papers from his desk, walking back to the class. The teal-haired professor put two papers on each of the five tables filled with students, one paper for each Blue Lion.
"The paper you just received is your assignment for the 'War of Heroes.'" Byleth announced, holding his own copy of the assignment. "Your task is to use the diagram you drew in class, along with the information we discussed throughout the week, and discern the motivations and movements for each army during this battle. It is due on the 21st of this Moon."
"Understood, Professor."
Everyone then heard shuffling outside of the Blue Lions Classroom, followed by the bells to the monastery tolling. Classes were over for the day.
All of the Blue Lions gathered their things, prepared to leave the classroom. However, Byleth needed two of them to stay back.
"Blythe, Celine, I need to ask you two a question." Byleth suddenly said. All of the Blue Lions looked at Byleth, each with varying degrees of curiosity. Seeing all of the curious looks, Byleth elaborated on his statement. "Just for something regarding the mercenary band. Nothing to worry about."
Blythe and Celine nodded, telling Annette and Felix that they would meet up later in the day. The rest of the Blue Lions left, leaving the Eisner siblings alone in the classroom.
Blythe crossed her arms, shaking her head. "All of us know that the question was a ruse, Byleth. That was just to get them off of our backs, wasn't it?"
Byleth nodded while pulling out a notebook from a drawer in his desk. He put a pencil beside it, sliding it towards Blythe.
"I'm guessing that when Dorothea comes, we'll get started...?" Celine pondered while Blythe picked up the pencil, looking to see if the pencil was prepared for use. When she saw that it was, the turquoise-haired Eisner put the pencil back down, pulling up three chairs on one side of Byleth's desk.
"That's my guess." Blythe replied, sitting down in the chair to the right. Celine sat in the middle chair, leaving the left chair for Dorothea.
Byleth sat in the chair he normally sat in when he was grading papers. "We are. I talked to Professor Manuela, telling her that I requested Dorothea for something after class today. Dorothea should be on her way here right now."
Both Blythe and Celine nodded, understanding why they had to wait. Since all of them knew what it was for, the Blue Lions could not get involved, lest they get jealous.
"I know it's probably not just me, but..." Blythe looked down to her legs, crinkling up some of her uniform in her hands. "Are you guys worried about Ashe and Dimitri? This mission... I'm afraid of what it's going to do to the rest of the Lions, especially those two."
She then looked up, facing Byleth. "I've only talked to Edelgard about this, but, something's going to go wrong. I just know it!"
"If there's anything our mercenary days taught us... it's that most rebellions don't end quietly." Byleth agreed with his sister. He shook his head, looking out of the classroom. "As morbid as it sounds for some, it's a lesson that the students will have to learn. They can't save them all."
"It's the reality of battle." Celine responded, putting a piece of her blue hair behind her ear. "Some actions and aftermaths are unavoidable."
"You're right." Blythe nodded, straightening her uniform back to normal. "We just have to be there for the Lions."
All of the people in the room then heard swift footsteps clash against the stone pathway. They turned their heads to see Dorothea catching her breath, wiping the sweat off of her face. She put her gorgeous, brown hair in its normal position.
"Sorry I'm late..." Dorothea trailed off, giving a quick bow. "Professor Manuela was trying to end the lesson, but Ferdie would just not stop his gloating. She had to hold us back in the training ground, just so she could finish the lesson."
"We were fine with waiting, Thea." Celine soothed the brown-haired young woman. "We just talked about stuff not related to the party."
"Phew." Dorothea sighed in relief, walking over to the Eisners and Celine. She sat down in the chair to the left, next to her blue-haired friend with blue eyes. "Have you all decided on anything yet?"
"We had a few ideas, but nothing concrete yet." Blythe replied, twirling the pencil in between her fingers. "We all thought you would have a better idea on what each Black Eagle could do to contribute."
"I see..." Dorothea put her right index finger to her chin. "Well, Edie has been wanting to spend more time with a certain professor..."
Blythe smiled widely, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "So I'm not the only person who she told that too. She told you about it as well."
Byleth was very confused. He had no clue what his sister and Dorothea were talking about.
Sothis sighed heavily, smacking her forehead with her hand. "How dense ARE you!? It's obvious! Even a boulder would have more sense than you, especially with this! We don't have time to just explain it to you."
"I guess I'll just find out on my own, then."
"Don't give me that sass! You know what, I'll talk to you later. Just you wait, Byleth Eisner!"
Sothis then went back into the depths of Byleth's mind with a huff. He mentally shook his head, but he was brought back into the real world by his sister calling his name. He faced Blythe, who had a pleading look on her face.
"You don't mind spending time with Edelgard, do you?" Blythe asked. Byleth shook his head as a response. "I don't mind at all."
"Great!!" Dorothea clapped her hands in joy.
After planning for a few more hours, the bells to the monastery tolled to signify dinner was being served in the dining hall. Dorothea split off from the Eisner siblings, while the Eisner siblings went to the dining hall together.
They wanted to spend more time together, after all.
Even if they kept what they were really doing a secret from the rest of the Blue Lions...
-------------------------------------------------
22nd of the Garland Moon, Garreg Mach Monastery, Kitchens in Dining Hall, (Morning), Imperial Year 1180
Blythe stepped out of her room, locking the door behind her. She was wearing her normal monastery uniform, but her turquoise hair was down. It cascaded over her shoulders like a wave.
After making sure that her door was locked, Blythe ran away from her room. She maneuvered a hair tie off of her wrist, holding it in her hand.
"I don't have much time..." Blythe muttered under her breath, putting her hair up in its usual ponytail. "I need to catch up to her before she heads into town with Annette. They should be heading out soon."
She gave off a frustrated breath, blowing some hair out of her face. Blythe had to find Mercedes before it was too late. Otherwise, her whole plan would be out of the window!
The turquoise-haired young woman ran through the shortcuts in the monastery, trying to find Mercedes. She had a feeling that her healer friend was either in her room or just outside it.
Fortunately for Blythe, Annette and Mercedes just came out of the pinkish-blonde healer's chambers. She ran up to them, shouting out her friend's name. "Merce!!"
Mercedes whirled around, her pinkish-blonde hair hitting her shoulder. She was looking around wildly for the person who called her name, but she calmed down as soon as she identified Blythe running up to her.
"What is it, Blythe?" Mercedes asked, waiting for her turquoise-haired friend to catch her breath.
"Can I borrow one of your cookbooks? I want to bake something, but I don't know what to make."
"Sure!" Mercedes brought a hand to her chin, letting her chin rest on her fingers. "Is there something in specific that you wanted to bake?"
Blythe hummed quietly to herself.
'I need to get my point across, but not make it too obvious. Even if Merce was originally from the Empire, Annette is right beside her. This will be a little tricky...'
"Hmm... I've always wanted to try some Enbarr cakes." Blythe replied to Mercedes, twirling a piece of her turquoise hair around her finger. "Sugar and desserts were a rarity amongst the mercenary band. I want to see if I can adjust the recipe to still have it be sweet, but not insanely sweet."
"I have just the book! Hold on while I get it." Mercedes told Blythe, running back into her room. The pinkish-blonde haired healer closed the door behind her, but she opened the door again after a few seconds. Mercedes walked out of her room while locking the door behind her. She had a cookbook in her hand, which she quickly gave to Blythe. "Here you go. One cookbook on recipes in Adrestian cuisine!"
"Thanks, Merce! I just need it for today, so I'll give it back to you after class tomorrow." Blythe said, taking the cookbook from Mercedes's hands. She admired the craftsmanship and handiwork of both the author and the illustrator.
Saying farewell to Annette and Mercedes, Blythe ran away from the dormitories. With the cookbook under her arm, Blythe coated the bottom of her shoes in wind magic. She had to hurry to the kitchens. The turquoise-haired Eisner had to set up before some of the Black Eagles would arrive.
Dorothea managed to coax all of the Black Eagles to help get Edelgard's party ready for her. Edelgard was in the marketplace with Byleth, and Hubert was not far behind his liege. Celine and Dorothea were decorating the Black Eagles classroom. They had Caspar and Ferdinand for assistance. Dorothea wanted to keep an eye on Ferdinand herself... to make sure that he wouldn't mess the celebration up.
With five of the Black Eagles already accounted for, that left Petra, Bernadetta, and Linhardt to assist Blythe in the kitchens. Blythe already knew what dishes she wanted her group to make, since Byleth went over them with her. However, the Enbarr cakes were going to be Blythe's personal touch. She needed to make more than the normal amount of party desserts, since Byleth was going to need some spares later on in the day.
Byleth had also asked her to get something from the marketplace before the current day peeked over the horizon. It was in her room, and Blythe would give it to her brother when the time came.
Blythe slid into the dining hall, the wind magic on her feet evaporating. The cooks in the kitchen gave her a breakfast pastry to snack on while she waited for her assistance in the kitchen. They told the turquoise-haired Eisner to get them if her or the Black Eagles needed help. Blythe thanked them with a smile, promising she would do so if the need arose.
Seemingly using her wind magic for all sorts of shortcuts, Blythe boosted herself with wind magic. The magic hovered her above the ground long enough for her to grab the pots and pans she needed from the top rack of silverware. She gently landed on the ground, her heeled boots making a gentle thump onto the floor. Blythe set the pots and pans down just as she heard three pairs of footsteps come into the kitchens.
"Ugh... do we really have to do this?" Linhardt yawned, sluggishly following Petra and Bernadetta into the kitchens. "It's too early. I would like to be sleeping in my comfy bed right now."
"Yes, Linhardt. We are having to be doing this." Petra responded to the green-haired healer of the Black Eagles.
Bernadetta nodded vigorously, shuffling towards Blythe. "Y-Yeah! Dorothea asked us. We can't let down Edelgard either, t-that would be bad... Really bad!"
Blythe put her hands on Bernadetta's shoulders, causing the archer to flinch. Bernadetta looked over her shoulders to see Blythe smiling at her reassuringly, which calmed down the purple-haired archer. Blythe gently massaged Bernadetta's shoulders, addressing both Linhardt and Petra. "We all need to pitch in, no matter what you feel about it. Petra, if you don't mind helping Bern... can I call you Bernie?"
"You can!"
Blythe nodded, continuing her directions while taking her hands off of Bernadetta's shoulders. "Okay. As I was saying... Petra, can you help Bernie make the savory dishes? I can take Linhardt and make the sweet dishes."
Petra also nodded to what Blythe said, but she had a question. "How will you be keeping Linhardt not asleep?"
"Let's just say that the Blue Lions had an assignment about a topic Linhardt would be interested in." Blythe winked, smirking in confidence. "How would an assignment on the War of Heroes sound, Linhardt?"
"I'm awake!"
Blythe chuckled in amusement, clapping her hands. "We've got our assignments. Let's get to work!"

22nd of the Garland Moon, Garreg Mach Monastery, Black Eagles Classroom, (Afternoon), Imperial Year 1180
Later on in the day, Celine, Ferdinand, Dorothea, and Caspar were in the the classroom for the Black Eagle House. All of the decorations were set up in the classroom. Banners hung from the walls, and other party equipment were all throughout the room.
With everything set up earlier in the day, the students in the classroom talked with each other, waiting for the time to pass by.
"Hey, Celine!" Caspar yelled over to Celine, who was breaking up a small argument between Dorothea and Ferdinand. The blue-haired swordsman turned around to face Caspar. "Yeah?"
"I know we don't know each other all that well, but we should spar sometime!" Caspar pumped his fist in the air, a wide smile on his face.
Celine nodded, deciding to walk over to Caspar. He didn't have to yell anymore. Taking a few seconds to think, Celine stood in place while crossing her arms. "I'm fine with that. After all, the best way to know somebody is through their combat."
"That sounds like something Felix would say..." Caspar responded, scratching his head in confusion. "Are you sure nothing deeper is going on?"
Celine flipped a piece of her blue hair behind her shoulder. She opted to keep her hair down that day, instead of it being put up. "Not to my knowledge, no. As far as I know, Felix and I are just classmates who share some of the same interests."
"Fair enough." Caspar said after contemplating what Celine said. "Tomorrow after class work?"
"Works for me."
Celine and Caspar then heard four pairs of footsteps outside of the classroom, albeit one sluggishly following the other three. They peeked out of the classroom to see the kitchen group coming over with the food.
Blythe looked over to Bernadetta, who was carrying a heaping portion of the Vegetable Pasta Salad. "Just let me know if you need help with that. Okay, Bernie?"
"Okay!" The purple-haired archer chirped. She saw that Blythe was having no problem carrying all of the Enbarr cakes in her arms. "W-We're almost there..."
"We are!" Blythe looked ahead also, seeing Celine and Caspar's heads peeking out from the classroom.
"Just set it down on the tables." Celine told the kitchen group as they came into the Black Eagle Classroom. Bernadetta set down the pasta salad in her arms, while Blythe placed the tray in her right hand down beside it. She kept the tray in her left hand with her, now spreading its weight evenly.
"You already brought the presents down here." Blythe commented while looking around the room, seeing the presents set down on the tables. She saw Celine nod out of the corner of her eye before she turned around. "Where are you going, Blythe?"
"I'll be back in a few minutes, don't worry." Blythe responded to her blue-haired friend. "I need to set up something in the courtyard. Byleth asked me to do it before him and Edelgard got back from the market."
"Oh. Hurry back, though. I don't know when they'll get here."
Blythe ran out of the classroom, making sure the tray of Enbarr cakes in her arms did not spill onto the ground. She had to be quick, otherwise everything wouldn't be done in time for Byleth and Edelgard's arrival.
Celine watched her best friend's retreating figure. Giving off a soft sigh, Celine hoped Blythe would get back to the classroom in time. Byleth, Edelgard, and Hubert could be back at any moment. If Blythe wasn't back in time, it would be disastrous!
Celine's thoughts then drifted off, making Celine not aware of what went on around her.
'I can't help but think Blythe and I are getting closer to my past. Since she's meeting with me tomorrow morning, I'm going to need to start doing my own research. The timelines are too coincidental to not be related. And there's also the man in my memories, my older brother. He kind of looks like... Wait... are the rumors true? Is Caspar onto something about me and Felix?'
She shook her head, her blue hair smacking her in the face. 'Focus, Celine. You can think about this tonight or tomorrow morning.'
Celine was snapped out of her stupor when she heard running footsteps coming towards the classroom again. Everyone looked at the entrance to the room, watching Blythe burst back into the classroom. She stumbled over to a wall, sliding down to the floor. The turquoise-haired young woman gave off uneven breaths, beads of sweat coming down her face.
"Goddess, Blythe... are you okay? You look like you just ran to the Cathedral and back." Celine asked her best friend, sitting down beside Blythe. Blythe was using wind magic to try and cool herself down. Wiping the sweat off of her face with the sleeve of her uniform, Blythe responded to what Celine said. "Probably because I just did, with the distance anyway. I never stopped running. Going from here, to my room, the courtyard, the kitchen, and back to right here takes it out of you."
"Yeah. It should." Celine nodded her head. She saw a flash of teal in the distance. "Hey... can you move to underneath the window? They're coming over here now."
"Byleth!? Everyone, hide!" Blythe yelled, slowly sliding towards the small wall underneath of the window. Celine helped Blythe get over there, and also hid right beside her. Dorothea directed all of the Black Eagles behind benches in the classroom.
Edelgard, Hubert, and Byleth walked through the courtyard towards the classroom. Only Byleth knew what was about to happen. He wasn't going to spoil the surprise.
The three people walked into the classroom.
"Where is everyone? Why is this decorated?" Edelgard asked. Byleth crossed his arms. "You'll see."
"Surprise!!" All of the Black Eagles burst out from behind the benches. Even if some of them stayed silent, they were all there.
"Happy birthday, Edie." Dorothea smiled, spreading her arms out wide. "Like it?"
"This is a nice surprise." Edelgard nodded her head. The Black Eagles talked to each other.
Byleth, out of the corner of his eye, saw two people by the window. Blythe and Celine looked up to see Byleth in front of them.
"You two okay?" Byleth asked. Blythe nodded her head while holding her hand out in front of her. "Yeah, just catching my breath from running everywhere. I got it ready in time, Byleth. That's why I was running."
"Thanks for the help with that." Byleth responded. Her grabbed Blythe's hand and pulled her up to her feet. "Let go to the other Eagles. Edelgard's waiting on us."
Blythe nodded, her and Celine joining Byleth. They walked over to the Black Eagles just as Dorothea said, "I did have some help with this. The Professor wasn't the only Blue Lion who helped."
"Who-" Edelgard looked past Dorothea. Her eyes widened. "Blythe... both you and Celine..."
"Happy birthday." Blythe smiled. She walked over and hugged Edelgard, who immediately hugged back. "I had to do something for you. You're one of my best friends, and that's never going to change."
"Thank you." Edelgard whispered in Blythe's ear. "I haven't had one like this since..."
"I know. You found friends here. Friends who will never leave you. You won't be alone again."
Blythe and Edelgard separated from their hug. They joined Byleth and the other Black Eagles over by the food.
Celine, while she was walking behind Edelgard and Blythe, heard something be set down behind her. Edelgard had one more present than before.
If Celine had to guess, it would have to do with the flash of blue and blond she saw while turning around.
She shook her head. Enjoying Edelgard's party came first. Celine walked over to the rest of the group, watching Edelgard and the Black Eagles enjoy themselves.

22nd of the Garland Moon, Garreg Mach Monastery, Courtyard, (Evening), Imperial Year 1180
While the sun above Garreg Mach Monastery was still high in the sky, it was started to descend down to the horizon. The light began to leave, leaving a sunset in its wake.
One student walked up the stairs and to their room, both arms full of objects. Their white hair moved from side to side as they walked, along with their lilac eyes scanning around for any threats.
Relaxing at the lack of threats, Edelgard searched her outfit for the key to her room. Her presents were shifted into her left hand, while she used her right hand to try and find the key.
After a few seconds of fumbling around in the pockets of her outfit, Edelgard found the key to unlock the door to her room. She used the key to unlock the door, allowing Edelgard to enter her room. The white-haired Hresvelg nudged the door open by giving it a small kick, while she used the time provided by the kick to go through the now opened door.
She closed the door behind her with her foot and walked over to her desk. Edelgard set down the presents on the desk, where she would organize them in her room at a later date. However, she picked up one present from the pile, looking at it while she sat down on her bed. Edelgard also grabbed a quill pen while she opened the journal.
Edelgard got the journal in her hand from Blythe, who figured that Edelgard could use a secure place to write down her thoughts, instead of keeping them all to herself in the confines of her mind. Edelgard appreciated what Blythe gave her, since she wanted a place to hold her thoughts.
Humming to herself, Edelgard silently praised Blythe, Celine, and Byleth. They were people who cared about her, even if they were in different houses. All of the Eisners, whether biological or adoptive, were more perceptive of social cues and body language than she gave them credit for. They seemed to know when something was wrong, especially Blythe and Byleth.
Edelgard sorely needed that stability, since most of her housemates only treated her as the Imperial Princess. The Eisners were some of the only people who treated her as herself, without any air of worship or formality.
'With them here, I feel like I have people who I can rely on. For right now, I'm keeping my plans to myself... but I might share them with the Eisners in the future.'
While thinking of the thoughts running through her mind, Edelgard wrote them down in the journal. This journal would never see the light of day, not if Edelgard had anything to say about it.
After writing down some thoughts, Edelgard heard a knock on her door. She scrambled to put the quill pen and journal in secure places. "J-Just a minute!"
The white-haired Hresvelg smoothed out her uniform while walking to the door. She opened the door, but she didn't see anyone.
"Weird..." Edelgard trailed off. She looked down to her feet, where she saw a letter on the ground. Edelgard bent down and picked up the letter. "What's this?"
Using the dagger on her waist to open the letter, the white-haired Hresvelg sheathed it back on her waist once she finished. Edelgard walked inside of her room, threw the envelope away, and sat on her bed to read the letter.
"What does this say...?"
Dear Edelgard,
Meet me in the courtyard of the Monastery. I know your birthday is almost over, but I have one more thing for you.
I'll be waiting...
Sincerely,
-PB
"Professor Byleth? What is he doing in the courtyard? I need to check this out. Especially if it's for today." Edelgard got up with a quirked brow and pursed lips, leaving the letter on her bed. She glanced in the mirror to make sure her outfit was up to her standard before she left the room. After making sure it was, Edelgard walked out of her room while she closed the door.
She walked to the end of the dormitory hallway and used the stairs to descend to the first floor. She also navigated through the monastery using a mixture of inside rooms and outside areas. Cutting through the dining hall, Edelgard used the path through the reception hall to access the courtyard.
When she entered the courtyard, Edelgard's breath hitched and her eyes widened. "Oh my... What is this?"
Byleth was sitting on a chair by a table in the courtyard, with a second chair ready for Edelgard to sit in. On top of the table were two dessert towers filled with Enbarr cakes and jam-filled cookies, a teapot filled with tea, and two teacups that were also filled with the same tea.
"Hello, Edelgard. Come and take a seat." Byleth said, gesturing towards the empty seat at the table. Edelgard walked over to the table and sat down. She gave Byleth a small smile. "You didn't have to do this, my teacher. The party was enough."
Byleth shook his head with a minuscule smile. "This was something that I wanted to do for you. I'm doing this of my own accord."
Edelgard nodded while putting an Enbarr cake on her small plate. She then picked up the teacup and caught a whiff of the tea inside. "Bergamot? How did you know my favorite tea?"
"Whenever it was offered at the dining hall, you were one of the first to ask for it." Byleth responded, taking a sip of his own tea. "After seeing that repeatedly, I came to the conclusion that Bergamot was your favorite."
"An astute observation. Bergamot is a refined taste, after all." Edelgard picked up the Enbarr cake and took a bite. She hummed in delight while eating the rest of the cake. "Enbarr cakes are normally sweeter than this one. The cakes back home are too sweet for my liking, but these are perfect!"
"Thank my sister. She's the one who made them."
"Hmm... I will have to thank Blythe later."
"One more thing, Edelgard..." Byleth trailed off. Edelgard looked up to see what the teal-haired professor had to say. "Check underneath your chair."
Edelgard put her arm underneath the chair she was sitting in, hitting a basket along the way. She pulled the basket from under her chair, placing it on her lap.
"Professor... Are these for me?"
Inside of the basket was a red carnation and an Armored Bear Stuffy. Edelgard picked them up with care and delicacy. After seeing Byleth's nod, Edelgard put the presents down with a smile.
"Thank you, my teacher. I'll never forget this moment we spent together."

Chapter complete!
Online classes are the worst in terms of time, but I updated this fic!
Fun fact... Blythe and I share a birthday. It's on the 6th of the Blue Sea Moon.
Edelgard's birthday came up, and the Eisner sibling helped Dorothea plan a party. Everyone pitched in, and the party went perfectly!
Byleth also surprised Edelgard with a tea party just for her. No one else interrupted them, as it was their private moment.
While this is the end of Edelgard being the focus for a little while, she will still appear in this fic more often than the game gives her in the Blue Lions academy phase.
This chapter was calm, but the next one will be shocking for some...
Next chapter will have another question finally answered.
Hope to see you then!
