Tears fell down, raining down from the girls eyes. "YOU LIAR!" her scream rang in his ears, and came from the bottom of her stomach. Poking the raven-haired guy in the chest betrayed, his eyes filled with fake hurt, enjoyment hiding beneath his long lashes. "You don't trust me?" He asked holding back a smirk. She was blinded and could only see his hurt. It was so bad. This would be her first heartbreak. She was exactly like the other girls.

Helplessly. In. Love.

"YOU CHEATED! Who is she?" She cried shrilly her voice breaking apart, as she looked into his eyes desperately for answers. She knew, wiping the endless tears rolling down her face, her chest heaving harshly.  "Tell me I'm the only one." she was cracking, and he knew. He knew very well. He met her family took pictures of her and gave her affection for this moment. He told her everything she wanted to hear. Unfairly he did cheat on her, so he stayed silent. When he didn't answer her she sobbed falling to her knees. And like the monster he knew he was, he didn't care.
"Gray, I love you. Why? Why d-" he cut off the girl wiping a tear away before smiling as big as he possibly could.

"I never loved you. How stupid could you fucking be." Getting up he saw the hatred and heartache burn in her blurred out brown eyes.

"And next time angel, you should check to see if your sister is fucking your boyfriend. Just a heads up." he spat harshly looking into her eyes to feel her hatred for him. She should hate him, but all he saw was disgusting love. Pure.

She winced at his cold words stabbing her heart, and she screamed his name in sadness when he left and the door closed fully. Her own sister.

Gray slowly walked down her pink painted hall, down the creaky stairs making his way out. Pulling out his black phone he dialed 6507 humming "hey Natsu, who's that chick in your clas-"

"Fuck off whore. Luce is my friend she's off-limits."

Whore?
Gray rolled his eyes, that was definitely not who he was talking about, but since he brought it up. Might as well as mess with him a bit.  "I wasn't talking about your astrology girl, but how's it going? She let you hit yet?"

"Haha very funny ice princess, shes not that kind of girl." he could tell through the tone of his voice natsu was smiling. Good, his best friend should be happy.

" let me guess droopy eyes you're in love." He teased making smooch noises into the phone.

"How many times do I have to tell your crazy ass we're just friends right now." He complained through the phone, as if he wasn't obvious.

"right now?, I knew she'd turn you soft." he chuckled placing a cigarette in his mouth, "put a ring on it flame brain."

"What are you laughing about, you remember when you stripped in the middle of getting lect-?" Natsu rumbled with laughter, making fun of Gray.

"Fuck off softy, She got any hot friends?" He asked, chewing on some gum obnoxiously.

"YOU LITERALLY HAVE HERP-" he was hung up on because Natsu's phone died. Herpes? What an asshat.

Looking around he noticed the night surrounding him and cold comforting him. Fixing his shirt he put his phone away smiling as he walked his way home, the silence being overtaken by his deep thoughts that always swarmed him when he was alone. And he knew, he should never be alone.

After a few minutes of silence his headache grew with the fighting, and his smile dropped. No one was watching him, talking or around him. It was just him, and would be the same situation when he arrived home.

'I don't deserve anyone' this was true he only hurts others.

'I'm not capable of love' why?

He shook his head with empty eyes, looking at all the cars whistling past him, his cold eyes looking for an escape.

'I deserved everything that happened to me' no, no I didn't. That's why I'm like this. I hate it, it should have never happened.

His feet kept moving fluidly in the cold that seemed to not reach him, and passed a loud blaring house filled with teenagers on the lawn. A distraction?

Perfect. He ruffled his messy raven hair, blinked away the look in his eyes, and put on a killer smile. In a few strides he already covered the misery with cold bedroom eyes. Preparing himself he took a breath knocking on the door.

Swinging open the door a blue haired fox answered the door. Her waves of blue ran in waves down to the small of her back. She had smooth fair skin with flushed pink cheeks, and rose tinted lips that looked like they told the sweetest lies.

Her emotionless blue eyes looked through him, sending a chill down his back. She was beautiful. He tried to look away from her eyes and coughed blushing.

"Who are you?" Gray stiffened at her voice.  It came out kindly but interrogatively, and he stood for a minute trying to decide if he should be doing this, or dip while he still can. He didn't even know these people, but would he rather be alone?

Her small figure leaned against the doorframe waiting for an answer. Pushing away his thoughts he forced himself to make eye contact with her. Stop being a pussy Gray, he filled his diaphragm with air and jumped for it.

" I'm Gray Fullbuster, you are?" His reply came out more nervous than he expected it to and he kicked himself for it. He never got like this before.

She eyed up the man with slightly squinted eyes, curiosity lurking close behind. "gajeel~kun! get my coat please! Juvia's going for a walk!"
Third person? That's kinda cute- no it's not. No it's not.

And soon enough along with gray's confusion she slapped the coat on and closed the door. Out of nowhere she gave him a warm hug, and pat him on the back comfortingly. Hesitantly, his arms wrapped around her too. "Are you cold?" She asked considerately before stepping out of the house. Did he need that hug?

"No, I never feel cold." Her eyes brightened up at his response and she started walking. "Well then come on I heard it's about to snow!"

"We're ditching the party?" Gray asked catching up to the stranger. "Of course, It's nothing compared to the snow." Giggling excitedly she took his arm and started to drag him away from the house. He complied, trying to act like he didn't like it, but a small smile rose in the corner of his mouth.

Natsu groaned smashing his head into his pillow. "Luceee, I said I wanted you to stay the night."
The said girl crossed her arms with a happy smile, leaning down close to him.

"I have homework Natsu."
The boys head snapped up at this looking at her in shock.

"YOU'RE leaving ME FOR HOMEWORK?! Fuck homework" He looked at her flabbergasted, making her erupt in a fit of giggles. Neither of them realized how close their faces were to each other, and there eyes met. Lucy turned bright red, and Natsu grinned back at her goofily.

"Yes, I-" Warm hands grabbed her waist picking her up and he shoved her into his chest, embracing her. Pushing a few strands of her gold hair behind her ear, he looked into her pretty brown eyes because he wanted too.

Lucy squealed getting all flustered, what WAS HE DOING! OH MY GOSH they were only 2 centimeters away from kissing.

"N-NATSU! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" This animal. Her heart hammered in her chest when she nervously made eye contact with his daring onyx eyes.

"Don't go yet." He said softly, throwing his heavy leg over her.

"Fineeee." Lucy sighed her lips curving into a smile. Natsu then blankly stared at her making her uncomfortable.

"You have a nose hair." He said pointing to her nose. "See, it's right there-"

"LUCY kick!" The blonde screamed kicking Natsu in the balls, infuriated. He always ruins the moment.

Natsu cradled his balls groaning "WHAT THE HECK LUCE! I was trying to help you."

"You're such an idiot!" She screamed covering her nose. Stomping up to him she watched him writher in pain. Good, he should be.

She kicked him one last time before grabbing a curly fry. As she chewed angrily Natsu rose his arm asking for a fry. She rolled her eyes, placing one in his hand. He's so dramatic. He ate it crying.

" what do you want for Christmas?" Lucy asked trying to lighten the mood. Natsu rolled over on his stomach getting up from the floor. With a grin he pulled her against his toned body. Relishing off the feeling of her against him.

Running his hand down her smooth back, she shivered from the sparks she felt on her skin. Lucy felt her knees go weak, and goosebumps crawl up her skin. Are friends supposed to make you feel like this?

"You~" he whispered hotly in her ear, and Lucy bit her lip from the butterflies he gave her. He leaned away from her ear holding in a chuckle. Her face was so hot, when he put his hand against it, admiring her. She was so lovely. Too bad she can't know he likes her.

"Just kidding!" Laughing the salmon haired boy ran for his life. "Come back here you jerk!" She screamed chasing him. When he looked back she was smiling real big, and she laughed with him when he fell over his bed. A thump echoing through the room.

"THAT'S WHAT YOU GET!"

After a few minutes, they cooled down from the adrenaline they had. They were sitting on the bed next to each other sharing the rest of curly fries they got together.

"So what do you really want?" lucy giggled chewing on a fry. Natsu pretended to think "you." she giggled more smacking him upside the arm. "Be serious!" he put his hands down in surrender "ok okay, I want a lighter with my name on it or a chain. What do you want?"

"Chocolate, maybe some heels. I saw this really nice place down your street that sold this gorgeous pair of red heels although they're too expensive so I'd never get them. And my friend levy dragged me to a bookstore so we could read some spicy stories. I really love her, she's so sweet." Natsu listened closely to her rambling, Lucy did this when she was tired and sometimes he could get something good out of her before she passed out.

"What were the heels called?" he asked combing through her hair softly. Her eyes shut and she laid down. "Sexy ruby.." and just like that she was out like a light.

Natsu grinned from ear to ear tucking her in. Normally she wouldn't tell him that because she knew how expensive they were and knowing her best friend he'd try to get them, but she was too tired to think.

Taking off his shirt he hummed a soft tune turning off his lamp. He turned himself towards Lucy wrapping his arm around her waist. He was surprised when she snuggled into his chest, and smiled like an idiot. Closing his eyes contently, he fell into a sea of slumber.
