Bree's POV

Before I woke up, I thought I was home. But when I opened my eyes the first thing I saw was Marcus. He smiled down at me evilly, as he began to mumble under his breath.

"She's awake." Douglas came up from behind Marcus, and began studying me.

"Excellent." I tried to squirm away from them, but I quickly realized I was tied to a chair.

"Douglas, what do you want from me?" I said in frustration. He began to pace, but still kept his eyes trained on me.

"Let me cut to the chase kiddo. Your ransom." He stated bluntly as I remembered something. Chase. I turned on my gps signal last night, so they should be able to find me, I hope. I needed to get out of here, fast. I tried to use my super speed to untie myself, but it didn't work.

"Don't even think about it cupcake. We turned off your bionics hours ago." Marcus said to me with power apparent in his voice. I sighed in defeat before Douglas left the room, leaving us alone. Marcus looked behind himself before waltzing up to me, and stooping down to my level. I tried turning away from him as he got closer, but he placed his index finger on my cheek turning me back to him.

"Listen up Bree. If you even dare disobey me, there will be consequences."

"I thought this was our daddy's idea." I spat back at him. He laughed at me as he leaned closer.

"Oh don't worry your pretty mind, I'm getting a little 'something something' out of this situation too, if you know what I mean." He said with a wink as my eyes went wide. No, I thought to myself I mean he wouldn't. Would he? Henodded at me as if reading my thoughts, and slammed his lips to mine. I turned my head to break away, but he held it with both hands until I kicked him in the shins. He pulled away from me in shock, and stared at me.

"Don't you ever do that to me again!" He yelled at me.

"Yeah? Try me!" I challenged as I rolled my eyes at him. He sighed in pure anger, and glared at me.

"I don't think you want to do that!" He screamed at me. I tried to free myself again, but I was unsuccessful. I stared up at him as he laughed evilly at me.

"I think I do." I mumbled so only he could hear. He shook his head at me, and raised his hand near his ear. With a crisp swing of his arm he hit me across the face. I looked towards the ground where my tears fell as he picked me up in the chair, and threw me against the wall. I fell with a crack to the floor. I think I broke a few of my ribs, and my arm. I closed my eyes, and screamed in pain. I opened my eyes when I felt a swift kick to my stomach that sent me over the edge. I began to hurl all over the floor when I saw my own blood crossing the floor.

"Great! Now I have to clean this god damn floor because of you!" He yelled as he kicked me in my right temple. I felt an excruciating amount of pain before my forehead hit the floor with a thud. The rope fell from my hands, and to the broken chair. It must have broke when I hit the wall. I held my head as Marcus exited the room, and sobbed uncontrollably. Chase needed to come. He needed to save me. I don't care if loving him was wrong. I needed him, now.

Chase's POV

I woke up to see that I was still on the roof where I remembered last. I stared up to see the sun beaming down at me, which meant it was probably late morning. I could hear footsteps in the distance, it was most likely Davenport.

"He's awake guys." I was wrong, it was Adam. I cringed a little bit when he sat next to me. I had a feeling that a bionic brother toss was in order. After all, I was the reason that Bree ran away.

"If you're here to just beat me up again, then you might as well just leave." I said bluntly as I turned my back towards him. He put his hand on my shoulder, and turned me towards him.

"I'm not here to beat you up. Davenport said that I have to say sorry, so... sorry." I rolled my eyes at him. I knew this was the last thing he wanted to do. He sighed, and stared at me awkwardly before he continued.

"Davenport also told me and Leo that we aren't related. Or at least me and you aren't. Well, you and Bree too." He shrugged and sighed contempt as he always does when he actually succeeds in doing something.

"Is that it?" I asked blankly as he nodded. I smiled sarcastically at him before I continued.

"Great! Now leave." I said with venom. I was still angry that when I needed him most he switched sides and fought against me.

"I said I'm sorry for clocking you in the nose. Aren't you gonna accept my apology?" I can't believe he thought that was what was wrong, he was an idiot.

"You can't even apologize about the right thing, so why would I accept your lame attempt at an apology?" I asked quizzically as he took a moment to comprehend what I said.

"Come on Chase we're broth-" I cut him off.

"That's where you're wrong. We'll never be brothers." With that I got up, and left him on the roof. I opened the door that led to the stairs to see Leo standing in the doorway.

"Guys... I hate to be the bad news barer all the time, but you have to see this!" He said grabbing my collar, and pulling me inside. "Adam come on!" He yelled as I was sprinting down the stairs. It was about Bree, I could just feel it. I entered the lab to see Davenport pacing back and forth in a panic.

"What is it?" I asked running towards him as Leo and Adam entered the lab. Before Davenport could answer, Leo started talking.

"Play it again Big D." Davenport nodded, and went to his cyber desk. He lifted his hands, and brought up a video. He motioned for me and Adam to come to face the screen before he pressed play. It was Douglas.

"Hello Donny! I heard that your little Bree ran away last night. And just so you know, she's been found... by me. If you want her back, I expect some sort of reward. Call back before it's too late." I shook my head as the screen went black.

"We have to give him what he wants." I stated bluntly as I tried to control the cyber desk. Davenport grabbed my arm before I could do anything.

"We can't call him back Chase. I know exactly what he wants, and I can't risk giving it to him." I glared at him in shock.

"Mr. Davenport! This is Bree we're talking about! The love of my life, and your daughter! You would have to be insane if you would rather give her up than give him what he wants!" I yelled crossing my arms.

"Chase, I'm not insane! If you knew what he wanted you might feel the same way!" I shook my head at him as I felt my commando app starting up. I had to control it before I could hurt anyone.

"What does he want!" I yelled lowly, Spike fighting to take over.

"He wants you!" He spat back at me with fury in his voice. Everyones eyes widened with shock as I look around the room. Davenport sighed before he continued.

"You have the capacity to hold all three abilities Chase. Douglas has always been after you. He'll make you a bionic slave with his trident app. You'll be under his control 24/7, as he takes over the world with you by his side. And once he's done with you, he'll kill you. That's what I can't risk. Are you happy now?" He stormed out of the lab, and into the elevator leaving all three of us in the lab silent.

"Wow." Adam said breaking the silence. I stared at the floor in my own shock, trying to take everything in. I had to go. To destroy Douglas, and get Bree. Leo grabbed my shoulder.

"You're not thinking about going are you?" He said as if there was no other option. I looked towards him and Adam, who were staring intently at me.

"No. I'm giving up." I lied through my teeth. They both sighed in relief convinced.

"I'm sorry it has to be this way." Adam said glumly. I nodded as I went into my capsule.

"I think I'm going to go to bed, I haven't gotten much sleep." They nodded again before heading to the elevator. As it closed I changed into my mission suit, and went to the cyber desk. Douglas answered the call quickly.

"I knew you'd answer back." He said with a smirk as I sighed. This was it.

"Where is she?"
