Pros:

-The community is so supportive! Members enjoy a feature called "swaps", in which two users agree to read each others' stories and give feedback. Constructive criticism is very common on this site.

-It's very easy to publish and share stories.

-Writing is taken very seriously, and tolerance for BS is low.

Cons:

-The community is small, so unlike Wattpad or other, larger sites, there isn't exactly something for everyone.

Do I recommend this site?

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES

I'd absolutely recommend this site to anyone who's serious about writing. The supportive community, easy-to-understand format, and reverence for writing on Figment is perfect for budding authors to grow big and strong. Figment was actually the first writing site I ever joined, although I don't have my original account anymore. I honestly think everyone on Wattpad who wants to become a published author should leave Wattpad and go to Figment instead, but that's just my opinion lol.
