"Loyal friend of mine."

"Hi, Ruhi!" called Suhana, Ruhi's best friend. Ruhi went towards her and embraced her with a wide grin on her face.

Ruhi Malhotra was a carefree soul. She had beautiful black doe eyes, pink plum lips, and black hair which reminded one of the mysterious forests from a fantasy story. Her slightly brown skin tone added to her looks. Her eyes always have a hint of kohl. She is a nightmare dressed as an angel. She has a deep passion for dance and writing.

Suhana Sharma could be as sweet as sugar to as dangerous as a nightmare if one insulted her best friend Ruhi in front of her. She could be heard from across the hall when she spoke. She loves teasing Ruhi when in the mood for mischief. She had bright eyes full of life and hope and pink full lips. Her black hair was always strictly kept in control by tieing it up in braids, ponytails, or any hairstyle that had been invented.

Suhana pulled apart and asked her, "Are you going to the camp?"

Ruhi said, "Yes. I had a hard time convincing my parents. At last, they permitted me."

Suhana smiled wide and said in a cheerful tone, "Yes!! Now we can go together. It will be so much fun to have you with me. We will enjoy it together."

Suhana was on cloud nine when she heard that. Both best friends were excited. Meanwhile, Vivaan, their biggest mortal enemy strolled towards them and stated cheekily, "Did you two win the Cup for being the most irritating girls of the year, huh?"

He saw the two smiling like anything. Ruhi, Suhana, and he had been arch enemies since their kindergarten. Why? Because Ruhi and Suhana used to talk too much which irritated him. Yes, you could tell that this was not a good reason but still, it's the only reason he hated them.

Vivaan Mishra was the school's heartthrob. Every girl was drolling upon him. His aura was fascinating, just like a Greek god. He had perfect facial features, an amazingly deep and husky voice, just enough to make a girl go crazy. Not to mention he was quite ambitious. The jaws and cheekbones were sharp as a razor. One look of those grey eyes could make any girl swoon over him. The dark black hair was always gelled perfectly.

"No but we are sure that you surely did win the cup of being the most annoying person of the year, just by seeing the glow of your face," said the two girls simultaneously.

Ruhi and Suhana gave me a savage mockery! Vivaan thought to himself. No! I shouldn't speak or else I will lose my temper.

He simply walked away.

Vivaan didn't let Ruhi speak further just by ignoring their cursing. Ruhi gnashed her teeth and said, "He is gonna pay for all the bad behaviors."

He went to his bestfriend Arav Bhardwaj.

He was Vivaan's best friend. They knew each other since they were in diapers. He had always been like a brother to Vivaan. He alike his best friend was a lady killer. He had a very creative outlook with proper intellect. He had a dominant personality with a husky voice. The black orbs weren't the only attraction but also his sharp jaws and the unkempt black hair.

"Dude, what's up?" Arav greeted. "You know I heard Drishti talking about you. I think she is head over heels for you. You know what I mean. Half of the boys in our school are drooling over her. You should take a chance."

Vivaan smirked. Drishti is the crush of all the boys in their school. He thought he should take a chance. Yes, there were other girls too who were the crush of the boys in their school but he had to agree there wasn't someone more beautiful than her.

"Dude, I think I should go and break up with Ariya. I think I should take a chance."

"Go on," Arav said.

Loyal friend of mine. Vivaan smirked himself.

Vivaan shoved Arav playfully and then started walking towards the class. Everyone was eyeing him as Vivaan went towards his class. At first, he used to feel uncomfortable under everyone's gaze but now he got confident 'bout it.

A junior came towards them and said "Hey!" He gave her one of his famous charming smiles and strolled away, saving his public image.

"Hey!" cried Ariya as soon as she saw her boyfriend walking towards her. "I missed you so much." She said as she walked up to Vivaan and hugged him tightly; her head on his chest.

"Believe me or not but your heartbeat is my favorite music," Ariya's voice came out as mumble as her face was pressed against his white school uniform. He lightly freed himself from her grip and said, "It's over."

Ariya looked at his face trying to understand the meaning of this incoherent sentence, albeit the meaning was clear to her. Tears welled up in her eyes.

"That can't be true," She sobbed. "This can't be true!" She shouted. Her shout made her the centre of attention. Ruhi and Suhana too stopped in their track and turned around to see the reason for the commotion.

'What's the matter?" asked Suhana to a girl named, Bianca D'Cruz who was standing beside them.

"Nothing new," said Biana, indignantly. "Vivaan broke up with her. It was bound to happen."

Ruhi made an irritated face. "Boys will be Boys."

"I feel pity for her, Vivaan is not doing it right," said Suhana.

"When did he do things right? Huh? Now, this has been a normal routine for almost every girl of our school but still, they are head over heels for him," said Ruhi with the emotions of disgust and anger plastered on her face.

"I heard that now Vivaan is targeting Drishti," said Suhana exasperatedly.

"I don't think he would have to pull stunts to impress her, she is already too thrilled for him," said Ruhi in an unbothered tone.

"You guessed it right! See, there comes Arav," said Suhana sulkily.

Before Ruhi could comment on it, she saw Arav was surrounded by a bunch of ladies swarming him like moths to flames.

"This is so annoying!" said Ruhi.

"I can't tolerate it anymore, let's go bestie!" said Suhana in an exasperated tone.

They both went to their respective classes. Vivaan, Arav, Drishti, Ruhi, and Suhana were all students of Science and were in the same class. Ruhi sat in her usual seat beside Suhana. Vivaan sat in his usual seat beside his best friend Arav.

"Look at Drishti," pointed Ruhi. "She is ogling Vivaan even after that event outside."

Drishti Bhattacharya was indeed looking at Vivaan with lovestruck eyes.

"I don't get it how do all the girls drool over him?" said Suhana with disgust coating her voice.

"Don't they get it that they will only be used and then thrown away!"

"If they could understand then all this wouldn't have happened," said Ruhi eyeing Drishti warily.

Drishti Bhattacharya was the popular girl of Cosmic High school. She was a goddess whom every guy wanted to worship but she never gave any attention to the guys. She had a selective taste. She was very proud of her beauty and wealth. She was the elder daughter of Mrs. Sandipa Bhattacharya who is a famous Vastu Consultant in Goa. She had long lashes which always cast an ethereal shadow below her eyes. The black eyes were always full of mystery. Her sleek black hair reached her waist. She had a smooth cheek and full lips. Her warm ivory skin tone added to her beauty.

"Stop ogling Vivaan!" said Shriya, Drishti's friend nudging her friend.

"He is so handsome," Drishti said dreamily.

"Of course, he is!" said Shriya. "Or why else would he be the famous guy of the school? Don't talk nonsense."

Meanwhile, Ariya was crying her heart out after her breakup with Vivaan.

"I thought we had something special between us," Ariya sobbed into her friend Payel's shoulder.

"You should have seen that coming when you started dating him," Payel said sadly. "Everyone he dated till now had been left heartbroken by him."

"But..." Ariya couldn't complete it as she started sobbing again.

"Shhh... Don't cry. You will get someone better than him who deserves you," Her friend consoled her. Ariya and Payel were students of Commerce.

"Drishti is ogling you," said Arav, nudging Vivaan.

"I know," said Vivaan with a smirk.

"The king and the queen will be together at last," said Arav in a sing-song voice.

"Shut up!" Vivaan playfully glared.

They both burst into a fit of laughter but soon their laughter died out as they heard the clicking of their teacher's heel.

"Good morning, students!" Mrs. Ahuja settled down on her seat and started taking attendance.

"As you know that the inter-school competitions are going to start soon," said Mrs. Ahuja. "So you will get the third to fifth period free for practice. Other students can do anything except roam around and create chaos. Ok, so that's it. Be a good class. I don't want any complaints." She walked out of the class.

"We can meet Aditya in the free periods!" exclaimed Suhana. "The students of class 12 will also have free periods, right? Many seniors are in the team as well, including that two brats." She tilted her head towards Vivaan and Arav who were busy talking in hushed voices.

"But you have to agree they play really well," said Ruhi matter-of-factly.

"You are taking their side?" cried Suhana.

"What! No! I am only saying the fact." She said shaking his head vigorously. Suddenly, someone held her head to stop her from shaking her head.

"Well, well, well, look who it is.." said Suhana her voice masked with sarcasm. "We were talking about these two monkeys and here they are."

"Well, it looks like you two don't have anything other than to talk about us," retorted Arav who was standing behind her. "Well princesses, it looks like we are the center of attraction for you two." Suhana glared at him. Ruhi yanked Vivaan's hand away from her head.

"How dare you touch me!" She hissed.

"I was afraid that your head was going to come off," said Vivaan with a voice of fake innocence. She gave him a questioning look.

"Don't you know that you are so fragile that shaking your head can make it come off," said Vivaan with that same innocent tone. Ruhi glared at him as she was at a loss for words. They again heard the sound of heavy boats. Vivaan and Arav returned to their seat quickly. Mr. Mehta, their mathematics teacher entered the class. Ruhi and Suhana glared at them as they returned them their fake innocent look.

"I am gonna kill them," said Ruhi through her gritted teeth. Suhana nodded in agreement.

A/N- I first published it under the name of Campsite but then after writing some chapters I lost motivation and unpublished the whole thing. Here I am back with a new name and a new storyline with long chapters. And the next chapters are going to be long.

I admit that the first few chapters are quite cringe-y as I wrote it wayyy back when I first started writing but I can assure you that it gets better after that.
