A few weeks later, I received what a few months ago would have been the best news of my life. My sister Bella was moving in with Dad and I. I wasn't sure how to feel. We had yet to really make up for her behavior at New Years.

"Lottie," my father said as I made breakfast the morning that he was headed to pick her up. I still had to go to school today because of an exam in my science class.

"Father," I said jokingly.

"Are you okay will Bella moving in? I know that it's been rough for you since you came back."

"I'll be alright," I said. "AJ might have a harder time forgiving her though."

Dad glared at me a little and no began to laugh and tell him that it was a joke.

"Hey, Billy and Jake are still coming for the game tonight, yeah?" I asked as I sat down to eat. I checked my phone, wondering where Emmett was when I realized that I was up and ready extra early today.

"Yeah," Dad said. "Emmett can come down if he wants."

"The Cullens have some ancient feud with the tribe, remember? Besides, I think he has plans with Mason to watch the game tonight," I said.

"Ah yes, that ancient feud," Dad said shaking his head. "Oh well. Maybe next time."

I nodded as I continued to eat and it fell silent. It remained silent as Dad and I both ate until Emmett showed up.

"Good morning," Emmett said, taking a seat beside me and kissing my temple.

"Good morning," I said, smiling at him. He and my father instantly jumped into conversation about the game that was happening later on.

"I'm going to go brush my teeth and grab my bag," I said, heading up the stairs.

When I returned, the two were still conversing about some Mariners player.

"Hey babe. You about ready, or should I give you a few more minutes with Dad?" I asked, standing behind my boyfriend.

"Yeah let's go," he said, standing up.

"Hey Dad, drive safe today," I said as we got ready to leave.

"I will. Also, I won't be back until almost five. Billy is bringing dinner though so don't worry about it," he said.

"Sounds good," I said as we headed out the door. The driveway looked empty since my Jeep was currently at the Blacks house getting some work done on it. Emmett had offered to pay someone, but Jake already knew the car inside and out so I got Jake to fix it for a dozen cookies and fifty bucks.

"How do you feel about Bella moving in?" Emmett asked as he drove towards the school at human pace. We had plenty of time to get there.

"I'm a little bummed out that there will be no more sneaking my boyfriend into my room, but otherwise I think I'll survive," I said.

"Well, anytime you need away, you know where to find me and what lies to use."

I giggled at him a little as he pulled into a spot. In the next spot, Emmett's siblings we standing around AJs bike and discussing something so we hopped out and joined them. AJ and I ended up having a bit of a side conversation about the band. Emmett had to physically wrap his arm around my shoulders and steer me to my first class to get me away from talking about the band.

"No fair," I said, pouting a little. He chuckled and kissed my lips before we headed into our classes.

At the end of the day, Emmett drove me home and stayed with me until shortly before my father intended to be home with my sister.

"Wanna come hang out Sunday?" Emmett asked as he got ready to leave. "Mason wants to have another tournament."

"Yeah, I'll talk to Dad," I said, kissing Emmett's lips quickly as we stood by the door.

"I love you babe. I'll text you later," he said.

I nodded a little. "I love you too Em."

He headed off and I returned to the couch to wait for my father and sister to arrive home.
