The next morning Alice decided I was allowed to sleep until 10 but then she wanted me up to begin a ridiculous routine of face masks before doing my hair and make up.

"You are almost ready," Alice said.

"You've only been pampering her for the last four hours," AJ said. He walked in, carrying a tray of snacks. "Esme figured you'd be hungry."

"Beyond," I said. Alice swatted me gently and she laughed at my acting. AJ sat the tray down and sat down with me so he could eat as well.

"Mm, where's Em?" I asked.

"Hunting with the other three," Alice said. AJ seemed a little disappointed in Jasper's absence. I understood that though because I wanted Emmett here too.

We continued to eat for a few more minutes before AJ returned Esme's tray and joined us yet again.

"Alrighty then," Rosalie said. "About half an hour and you will be ready to go. AJ, a shower so we can deal with the hair please?"

"Yes ma'am," AJ said. He headed off to shower as Alice and Rosalie finished up my make up.

"Here, we got you some jewelry," Alice said, clasping a necklace around my neck.

"But, my necklace from Em," I said as she took it off and sat it in the box in her hand.

"You can put it back on in the morning," she said.

"But Ali," I said, whining slightly.

"Stop whining. You will be fine," she said.

"Fine," I said, pouting slightly as the boys all ran in, each covered in blood to some degree.

"Ew, gross, go shower," I said, covering my eyes quickly.

"We're headed that way babe," Emmett said, chuckling a little.

"Move faster, blood is gross," I said. All of the guys started to laugh at that before splitting off to shower. AJ was nearly done, so it wasn't five minutes later that he walked in. Alice handed him a hanger with his suit hanging off of it. He carefully pulled the stark white outfit on as Alice handed me my dress.

"Come on," she said. I forced AJ to leave long enough for me to get dressed before allowing him to return.

"Here's your heels," Alice said. I slid into the heels before walking several places. I hadn't had a chance to break them in yet, so I was a little stiff.

"Babe, don't hurt yourself," Emmett said, chuckling as I faltered a little. He was dressed in an all black suit, making me smile at him.

"It's not funny. Why can't I just wear Cons or combat boots or something?" I asked.

"No, never," Alice said. "Over my 'living' body will a Cullen, current or future, wear anything other than heels to a dance."

"This isn't fair Alice, I'm going to break my ankles," I said.

"Emmett will be there every single step," she said.

"She's right there babe," he said, kissing the top of my head as his arms found their way around my waist.

"Thanks Em," I said softly.

"You're not falling on my watch," he said

I smiled a little as we were dragged out to take pictures. Dad was waiting with Dr. and Mrs. Cullen when we walked out the front door. It was overcast, but thankfully dry for once.

Once our pictures were done, Alice was dragging us all to the garage so we could get going to the dance.

In all actuality, she was just very eager to show everyone else up with her and Jasper's pre-coreographed dances.
