"I can't believe I'm grounded for a whole month!"

"Congratulations. You just promoted yourself with another month extra" my mother said flatly, sitting down at the dining table.

"What? But that's not fair!" I wailed, shaking my head in disbelief.

"You're right. You should've been grounded for your entire life for sneaking a boy into the house that too WITH AN APPLE IN HIS MOUTH!"

"It wasn't what It looked like-"

"One more word and you will grounded until you turn eighteen"

"You cannot do that"

"Is that a challenge?"

I stabbed the peas on my plate, mumbling colorful profanities under my breath.

She gave me an exhausted look. "Where have I gone wrong with your upbringing? Can't you just be unproblematic for once?"

I felt the anger boiling inside me like a volcano ready to erupt. My hand curled into tight fists under the table "Maybe if you were more around me, you'd find out what went wrong in your upbringing" I snapped. "Why can't you be like everyone else's mothers?"

Her grip on the fork tightened. "Maybe because I am not fortunate enough to have a husband by my side and I have to raise two children on my own! I did not chose this life, Elle, yet I'm putting up with it. And you better do it too."

The pain in her eyes dimmed out my anger. She looked exhausted from working night shifts everyday. My father made himself scarce after Ella was born. When he said that work was keeping him busy, my mother blindly trusted him. Little did she know that what kept him busy was the woman under thirty.

My voice dropped into a low whisper "Mom, Im so sor-"

"You're getting late for school" She cut me off, abruptly getting up from her chair before turning on her heels and walking away.

Jane nudged me with her elbow "Why the long face?"

"Because its Monday" I said flatly, trying to avoid the subject. Jane didn't seem to be the least conviced but dropped the subject anyways.

"So, How is it going with Jake?" I asked as we made our way to our lockers.

"Although we did manipulate him to shut his mouth, Never trust a man with..." Jane trailed, pondering over her next words "Well, just never trust a man"

"We took his phone last night and dropped him straight at home. I don't think he talked to the guys yesterday but we have to keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't spill the beans today"

"With that being said, Each one of us will be assigned to monitor him at different times of the day" Amber explained.

I groaned. I could already tell this day was going to be a nightmare.

If you thought I'd spend my monday morning situated in one of the shower stalls of the boys locker room instead of being in my Physics class.

Then, you're completely right. I sat on the cold tiled floor, shuderring and scrunching my face up in disgust at the colorless piece of gum stuck on the wall.

According to one of the Elite boys fangirls, Jake had P.E right now.

Pindrop Silence prevailed everywhere since the boys were still on the field for the time being. Only the ticking of the clock could be heard. I looked at the the time. There was less than a minute left before the end of the fifth period.

Exactly forty-five seconds later, the door suddenly bursted open and a rabble of boisterous guys swarmed inside. The peaceful silence drowned in a hubbub of laughter and tittle-tatle about jokes, sports, the party someone was throwing tonight but mostly they talked about girls and who had the biggest boobs.

Cue the eye roll.

The last breath of fresh air was soon drowned into the suffocating pungent smell of deodorant sprays and nauseating odor of sweats. It was so revolting that I could feel my lunch slowly creeping up my throat.

Being in the Boy's locker room was definitely the most frightening experience of my life.

"I will bang Gabrielle so hard at the party tonight, that we'll both need helmets" One of the boys claimed out loud rather enthusiastically.

There were wolf-whistles and cheering before another voice spoke. I recognized it as Kyle's.

"Good luck with that mate. This will be the most regretful thing you'd ever do in your entire life well unless you sleep with Rachel that is, I heard she has cooties"

The room erupted into "Ew's"

"What's that supposed to mean?" The other guy asked. You could hear the panic in his voice.

"Doing her is like fucking a dead Corpse" Kyle answered with a yawn.

"Then what were you doing with her in the library the other day?"

"Desperate times call for desperate measures"

Before I could retain myself, a loud snort escaped my lips. I clasped my hand on my mouth, my eyes widening in realization.

Oh shit.

The room dropped to a deafening silence again.

"Bob? Is that you?" a voice asked.

Bob? Who the hell is bob?
And most of all, who on earth looks at a cute little child and names him bob?

I cleared my throat, deepening it a little.

"Yeah?"

"What's taking you so long bro? The shower is off and you've been there for an eternity. Hurry up, we've not got all day" the voice said, rather irritated.

I wanted to kick myself for being so stupid. How could I forget to turn the water on?

"I.. Uh-um. Give me a minute. I can't find my underwear" I answered.

"You have 5 seconds"

The crowd started counting.

"5"
I started panicking.

"4"
My blood ran cold.

"3"
I started running around the stall like a madman because I didn't know what else to do.

"2"
An idea clicked into my mind.

"1"
I tied my hair up into a bun and pulled my oversized hoodie over my head, totally engulfing my face.

A shadow appeared on the curtains, growing bigger, the closer the person approached.

"Ready or not, here I come! Better hide your small wiener" The guys erupted into laughter at his comment. I couldn't help but feel bad for Bob, he was bullied.

A hand grasped on the curtain before pulling it open. I swiftly shoved past him, hurriedly rushing outside.

Which was probably the worst decision ever.

Standing in front of me was a group of boys with wicked grins plastered on their faces.

"Wanna play catch?" One of them asked as they circled me.

I looked at the ball in his hands then gulped loudly.

Uh. Oh.

One of them did a spin and threw the ball directly at me. Everything around me blurred and seemed slowed down as I focused on the ball and where it was aiming at. It wasn't my face nor my stomach but it was moving south, which happens to be straight towards my non-existant balls.

The impact wasn't insufferable. Actually, it felt like nothing at all. However the guys, on the other hand had a painful look on their face as they winced and groaned in my place.

My brain stuttered for a moment, pondering on why they were overeating before I realized I was supposed to cry out as if I just got hit by a truck.

So, I instantly moved my hand to my pride area and crouched on the floor with a banshee shriek.

"Hmph. My jewels! My precious jewels! I can't feel them! I think they just fell into pieces!" I cried, curling up on the floor like a worm.

The boys had an incredulous expression struck on their faces. It was totally priceless.

"Blake! What did you do?" One of guys yelled. His face was slowly losing colour as panic invaded it. Blake stood rooted to the ground watching me roll all over floor and groan in pain.

Another slapped the back of his head "You just put an end to the bob legacy"

"Poor bob junior" another guy said, wiping a fake tear and bowing his head down in sympathy.

"Move!" Kyle's voice boomed throughout the room as he shoved Blake aside.

"You alright man?" he asked, holding his hand out to help me up. I unwilling took it, clasping my hand around his before standing up and dusting the imaginary dust off my cloth.

"Yeah, I'm good. I think they just restored back. I can feel them again" I fumbled with my words.

He raised an eyebrow at me "You sure you don't need ice?"

"Nah, they already went through so much.I don't wanna freeze them"

He gave me a small nod before turning to the rest of the guys "Scatter!" he yelled, making them skedaddle out of the room through the exit.

Wow. Now I know how powerful it is to be the captain of the football team.

I was going to do a bunk too and almost made it if it weren't for his arms that shot out to grab my elbow.

"Not you."

Oh god please no.

Once the room was fully evacuated, he jerked his head towards me.

"So, Bob. How's your leg?"

I blinked in confusion "My leg?"

He cocked his head to the side, his eyes assessing me. "You tripped and fell over the staircase right?"

I gulped. Why on earth couldn't that bob guy have a little bit of luck?

"Ohh that..." I exclaimed acting to have recollected my memory. "Yeah, they're good as new now" I said sheepishly.

He took a step closer with a mischievous smile playing on his lips.

What is he doing?

Please don't tell me he's gay.

I kept backtracking until my back hit one of the lockers behind me.

Oh fudge. This all seemed like a déja-vu.

"That's weird. I just got a text from you three minutes ago saying you wouldn't be able to attend the football practice today because of your broken leg"

He closed the distance between us and placed his hands on either sides of my head on the wall, trapping me inside.

I avoided his piercing grey eyes
and looked down. Which I might add, was a very bad idea.

He was in his undershirt that clung to him as a second skin. It defined every lines and bumps of his abs. As much as I hate admitting it,it was kinda sexy.

"Are you done checking me out?"

Shaking the absurd thoughts away, I tilted my head back up to meet his eyes. Doing so, a strand of my hair escaped my hood, falling on my mine.

I stiffened when Kyle's fingers reached for it and brushed it behind my ear. His eyes lingered on the crown tattoo behind my right ear, a symbol that each member of Charlie's Angels had; Only that jane had hers on her shoulder and Amber on her wrist.

"So you're a guy?" he asked, obviously growing suspicious by my tattoo and hair too lengthy for guy.

"Y-Yes" I stuttered, not quite meeting his eyes.

One of his eyebrows raised as if he was saying 'oh really?'

"Then Prove it"

I was taken aback by his words "What?"

He shrugged "Prove it"

"With a Dna test? It might take a whil-"

Kyle shook his head, chuckling.

"Take your shirt off"

"Excuse me?"

He crossed his arms across his chest. Was he flexing in front of me?
"You heard me"

"No. I cannot do that" I said sternly.

He arched an eyebrow "Why not?"

"Because."

"Because what?"

"I can't -"

"Say it." he challenged.

I threw my arms up in exasperation "Because I'm a girl!" I shouted.

The smirk was back on his gorgeous face "I knew it". He took a step away from me.

I rolled my eyes. "What gave me away? I was too overdramatic, wasn't I? "

"Nope. It wasn't painful enough"

Is he for real?

"Yeah, Whatever. Can I go now?" I asked in a bored tone.

"Not so fast." He reached for the hood over my head and pulled it back, revealing my face in its full glory to him.

The corners of his lips twitched "What's your name?"

My mouth opened and closed several times like a fish until I finally managed to choke the words out "Elle"

"Elle" he repeated, his eyes still focused on my face.

"And your number?"

I looked at him in disbelief. What was he even trying to do?

"Its in the phone book" I deadpanned, shoving past him.

"But I don't know your last name" he called out.

Pressing my lips into a thin line, I looked back at him past my shoulder before twisting the door knob open "Its in the phonebook too."

I was watching 'she's the man' the other day and this is what inspired me to write about the whole ball scene lmao.

I am aware I said a new character would make his appearance in this chapter but it is already too lengthy enough to add more scenes.

What's your favorite chapter till now?

Im really keen to know.

Don't forget to comment and Vote. The new character will appear in the next chapter for sure.
