Gwen POV

I am chasing the woman from the warehouse, now known as Sheath, through the streets of New York. I am gliding with my wingsuit to keep up with Sheath who is on a motorcycle.

Ghost Spider: *sarcastic* Miss me? I know you're evil and all, but I really think we bonded.

Sheath pulls a u-turn and takes off down another street.

Ghost Spider: Guess not.

I can't make that turn and land on the side of a building and see where she went.

Ghost Spider: You can run, Sheath. But after what you did to Kevin, I'd chase you to Canada and back.

(Y/n): *over phone comms* I'm 1 minute out.

Ghost Spider: Sheath's headed towards an abandoned building. Sending location.

I go back to gliding after Sheath when I get a phone call, I pull out my phone and see my dad's caller ID.

Ghost Spider: Dad?

Sheath suddenly, takes another hard turn while I was distracted.

Ghost Spider: Webs!

I the crash into the street and tumble into a open storage pit for a vegan bakery and get covered in grape jelly. The baker was understandbley upset and tried to turn me in, I just web up and jump onto the roof of a warehouse. I look through the window and see Sheath alone down below.

Ghost Spider: *use comm link* I found Sheath in a warehouse. Where are you, dude?

(Y/n): *over comm link* 20 Seconds. Wait for me.

Ghost Spider: If I wait, Sheath could escape and we might never find her.

(Y/n): *over comm link* Gwen, wai-!

I take a quick deep breath and then smash through the window and divebomb at Sheath, she dodged and I land in my Spidey stance.

Ghost Spider: You should've kept running Sheath.

Sheath: *chuckles* I don't need to anymore. Exile here's agreed to help me get rid of you once and for all.

Ghost Spider: Exile? *laughes* Really?

I hear a noise behind me, turn and see a guy in a blackish blue armor with a horned helmet.

Exile: Laugh while you can Ghost Spider. You don't have long.

Ghost Spider: You know since you ambushed me in that flat, I thought it was also time for me to gain an ally too.

Suddenly, the roof caves in and (Y/n) lands on the ground in his Charizard form.

Ghost Spider: *smug* So, I found one.

(Y/n): *Roars*

But before (Y/n) and I can open a can of whup-ass on these punks, I hear a sound and see a bright white light appear and when the light disappears, I see several young heroes, including Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, Quake, Patriot, and the biggest bulldog I've ever seen appear almost out of thin air.

Ghost Spider: Huh? *points at Ms. Marvel* You?

Ms. Marvel: *points at me* You!

Exile: *looks at Ms. Marvel, angered* You.

Ms. Marvel: *looks at Exile* You!

Patriot: *looks at Charizard* You!

(Y/n): *growls*

Squirrel Girl: *waves at me* Hey you!

3rd Person POV

Quake: Team, get Exile!

The hero called Inferno throws a big fire bloom at Exile, which he dodges by teleporting. Sheath avoids the flames and makes a run for it.

Ghost Spider: Let's get Sheath, big guy.

Ghost Spider runs after Sheath while (Y/n)'s Charizard form flies above the storage racks, Patriot, still thinking the two are criminals, and probably still salty about how he didn't throw (Y/n) in a jail cell himself, steps forward and yells at the two.

Patriot: No way, you two. Surrender!

Quake: Patriot, no! Exile's the one who helped the Kree abduct Inhumans and my phone says he's still here. He's the mission, not them. Everyone else, get your game faces on. Fan out. Find him.

While he flies, (Y/n) gets a call on his comm link and presses his claw to his ear to answer.

(Y/n): What's with all the new kids, Johnson?

Quake: I go by Quake now, and I'm still helping stop bad guys like Exile. I just do it more secretly.

Patriot: *over comm link, annoyed* You know, it's funny. The thing about secrets is not telling people about them.

Exile suddenly appears from a teleportation circle and grabs Quake's wrist as he says.

Exile: Secret or not. This chase has lost it's charm for me.

Exile grabs Quake's phone, pushes her back against Lockjaw and wonders.

Exile: Is this how you catch up so quickly?

Ghost Spider is still chasing Sheath, a column of fire appears and Sheath stops in her tracks and see Charizard had cut off her means of escape. Ghost Spider leaps at Sheath and kicks her blocking arms. Sheath goes after Ghost Spider but she dodges using her webs to leap over Sheath. Charizard lands and charges in with a Fire Punch and connects with her face, leaving a burn. Ghost Spider then leaped in from the side with webbing in her hands, as she leaped in between Sheath and Charizard, she used the webbing to bind Sheath's hands and dodge out of the way. Charizard then used Mega Kick to hit Sheath and send her slamming into a wall, where Ghost Spider used more webbing to restrain her against said wall.

Ghost Spider: You know, having a partner really does make this easier.

(Y/n): *snorts*

Sheath: *scared* Exile, help-

Ghost Spider then webs her mouth shut, Charizard then starts walking forward, when Gwen's Spidey Sense goes off, but reacts too late to Exile using a metal shield to knock both her and Charizard away and for both he and Sheath to escape. Ghost Spider gets up and off Charizard and realizes what happened and got really mad when the other heroes arrive.

Squirrel Girl: Ghost Spider, are you okay?!

Ghost Spider: *groans* You lot and that teleporter just cost me Sheath!

Quake: Don't worry, we can track him- except he took my phone, ugh.

Charizard: *groans as he stands*

Ghost Spider turns to Charizard and to see if he's okay.

Ghost Spider: Bud, you okay?

Charizard nods and grunts in response, before Ghost Spider turns to the other heroes as they continue talking.

Squirrel Girl: Exile has your tracking program. *gasps and covers her mouth*

Quake: Don't worry. Once I re-download it and tweak the program to respond faster we'll be able to track him again. *to Gwen* My program tracks Exile's energy signature when he teleports. You want Sheath, we're you two's best bet of getting justice for Kevin.

Patriot: You want them to join us? They're criminals!

Quake: No they're not. SHIELD and the Avenger's vouched for them and I saw the evidance, Sheath framed Ghost Spider, and Charizard figured it out and is just trying to help.

Patriot: Well I haven't, which is surprising because I thought we were partners. Even if she isn't guilty, they're both loose cannons.

Charizard: *growls*

Ghost Spider: I don't need your judgement, okay? And I don't need your help!

Ghost Spider webs out of the building, Charizard glares before he follows Ghost Spider out. Gwen then webs up and lands on Charizard's back as they fly above the city skyline.

Gwen: *checks her phone*

(Y/n): What are you doing?

Gwen: I placed a tracker on Squirrel girl so we can follow those heroes back to their hideout and 'borrow' their tracking program.

(Y/n): Good idea.

Gwen: But... *yawns* that might have to wait till tomorrow. I've got band practice in the morning, so we'll go in the afternoon.

Charizard flies Gwen to her grandmother's place and she jumps off and removes her mask.

(Y/n): Gwen?

Gwen: Yeah?

(Y/n): *reverts to human form* Are you doing okay?

Gwen: *saddened sigh* I miss him.

(Y/n) hesitates for a few seconds before pulling Gwen into a hug, Gwen rest her head on (Y/n)'s chest and finally let's a few tears fall. The pair stay like this for several minutes, Gwen finally calmed down and looked up at (Y/n) with tears still in her eyes.

Gwen: Could you.... stay with me tonight?

(Y/n): Yeah, of course.

(Y/n) follows Gwen into the house, Gwen went to the bathroom to change and (Y/n) simply laid down in front of the couch and waited for Gwen to return in her pajamas, she looked at her friend on the floor and decided to set up a blanket next to him and laid down next her friend. (Y/n) was already fast asleep, but must've felt Gwen lay down next to him because he reached out and took her hand to help feel a little more comforted.

Timeskip Next Morning

Gwen and the Emm-Jay's are seen practicing their songs in Gloria's garage, the band was going well until there was a microphone causing feedback, and the other girls stopped but Gwen hadn't noticed and kept playing intensely and out of tune.

MJ: Gwen? Gwen!

Gwen: What?! *drumsticks clatter*

MJ: I know that you've been at your grandma's house for a few weeks, but that drum line doesn't go with any of our songs. Get with the group!

Gwen: This group? Maybe this group should get with me because-

Gloria: You know, I'm not feeling well. Can we end it here today?

MJ: *silent deep breath* Fine.

MJ and Barbara walk out while Gloria approaches Gwen.

Gwen: Thanks forntye intervention, Gloria. MJ is just impossible sometimes.

Gloria: No, Gwen. You're impossible. What's going on? You haven't been to class in ages and your dad keeps calling asking where you are. I know how much you've been hurting since you lost Kevin. He was my friend too, but I can't keep covering for you.

Gwen: No, you have to. Look, I'm sorry he called. I can't explain what's happening, Glory, but it's for Kevin and I can't go home until it's done.

Gloria: Then get it done. I can't live like this.

Gwen gets a text on her phone, she looks at, then grabs her backpack, stands up and starts to leave.

Gloria: Where are you going?

Gwen: To finish things.

Gwen walks out and then waits till she's out of sight to change and web swing to a random rooftop, where (Y/n) is waiting.

Gwen: You find them?

(Y/n): Yup, followed the tracker you placed on Squirrel Girl.

Gwen: Then let's get that tracking software and hunt down Sheath.

Gwen starts walking, but (Y/n) puts a hand out and grabs Gwen's arm.

Gwen: *annoyed* What?

(Y/n): ..... *sigh* Nevermind.

(Y/n) transforms in his Charizard form and flies the two of them to an auto shop.

Gwen: Well, at least it's unassuming.

(Y/n): I guess that's the point of secrets, huh?

Gwen: Okay, what was that?

(Y/n): It doesn't matter apparently, let's just go before I burn everything to the ground.

The pair watch and wait when Patriot and Squirrel girl come out, the pair then make their way inside, bypass the secured entrance and make their way down to the hideout.

Ghost Spider: *whispers* We need to find the computer room.

The two look around, while also avoiding the resident Inhuman guard dog, until they find what their looking for, behind a locked vault.

Ghost Spider: *looks over keypad* Hmm..... Watch my back, I'll get this open.

It takes a little bit, but Ghost Spider managed to crack the code and gain the two entry into the vault. Once inside, the pair see the computer and Gwen approaches, amazed.

Ghost Spider: Whoa! This is a serious piece of hardware.

(Y/n): Can you crack it?

Ghost Spider: *cracks knuckles* We're about to find out. Keep watch at the door, please.

(Y/n) goes and watches the door and while Patriot did set off the alarm causing the two to take cover in the vent above the computer, no one was able to find them. After everyone left, and a very lengthy reboot, the vault door was shut behind them, Ghost Spider elegantly hopped down from the vent. She went back to work on the computer trying to download Quake's tracking software, (Y/n) groaned a little before the camera sees him fall from the ceiling to the floor.

Ghost Spider: Way to be stealthy, dude.

(Y/n): I hate stealth.

Ghost Spider: I've almost-

Suddenly, as Ghost Spider tries to access the software, alarms go off all across the base.

Ghost Spider: Webs!

(Y/n) is forced back into the ventilation shaft as the Secret Warriors rush into the computer room.

Ms. Marvel: There's no one here.

Quake: Maybe not, but I definitely plugged my phone in before I left.

The two hide in the shaft curious about the silence until a squirrel crawls into the shaft and jumped onto Ghost Spider's mask.

Ghost Spider: Ah! Back off, Tiny Terror!

(Y/n): *sighs annoyed* How's is that stealthy?

Suddenly, the rustling can be heard from inside the shaft as the three duke it out.

Ghost Spider: Ah! What kind squirrel likes chewing on people?!

(Y/n): Hey! Get your Spidey cheeks out of my face! Disgusting!

Ghost Spider: Well, you- Ah!- don't exactly smell like a basket of roses either, (Y/n)!

And, with a certain enevitablility, the shaft couldn't hold their weight anymore and ripped open causing the threr to fall out onto the floor. Ghost Spider gets up first with Tippy Toe, the squirrel, on top of her head.

Ghost Spider: I hate you, Squirrel! *Tippy jumps off her head* Yeah, you better run!

(Y/n): Get off me!

Ghost Spider gets off (Y/n)'s back and helps him stand up, the Secret Warriors all took a defensive stance.

Quake: Ghost Spider? (Y/n)? What are you two doing here?

Ghost Spider: *sighs* I needed your program, but I saw all your drama through the vents. That's something I don't need.

Quake: We're going after Exile, and Sheath is probably with him. You two wanna waste time flying through the city, that's fine. But if younwant justice for Kevin, we're how you get it.

Ghost Spider looks at (Y/n), he simply sighs and nods, Ghost Spider looks back at Quake and tries to breaknthe tension by being light-hearted.

Ghost Spider: Looks like we're teammies.

Patriot: Yeah, not even close.

Meanwhile, Exile and Sheath had come up with a plan to use Quake's stolen tracking program to track down every Inhuman on the planet, but to do that they needed something from the ship belonging to the Kree Accuser known as Hala, and found it in a Stark labratory on the pier. Not long after though the police showed up and surrounded the building, but Exile wasn't leaving without the device he was after and used his Inhuman powers to turn in a giant blue demon looking creature and smash out of the building. As soon as he starts tearing through the cops, with Sheath's help, the Secret Warriors teleport in.

Ms. Marvel: Step back, Lockjaw. I've got this.

Patriot: Ms. Marvel! Wait for the team!

Ms. Marvel: Embiggen!

Ms. Marvel streched herself into a giant as well and threw a car at Exile, knocking onto his rear. Ghost Spider see Sheath and grow angry.

Ghost Spider: Sheath's mine.

Captain Stacy: Ghost Spider? *draws his weapon*

Quake: Captain Stacy, no. Get your people back.

Captain Stacy: Agent Johnson, what are you doing with her? And you (Y/n)?

(Y/n): It's complicated, Captain, but Ghost Spider is innocent. And right now you need to step back.

Captain Stacy: You're not the law here, Johnson, so you put your hands up now and explain why you're out here gallivanting with a known criminal.

(Y/n) noticed movement behind the group and saw Sheath readying an energy dagger to throw at Captain Stacy.

(Y/n): No!

(Y/n) pushed everyone away and got in front of the police captain and took the energy dagger to his gut. (Y/n) screams in agony as he suddenly feels weak and falls to the ground.

Ghost Spider: (Y/n)! No!

Quake: Inferno use your flames to help heal (Y/n), quick!

Inferno approaches and use a full powered fire bloom to keep (Y/n)'s internal furnace lit, Ghost Spider turns around and looks at Sheath with a glare that could kill.

Ghost Spider: You murdering- RAGH!

Ghost Spider charges for Sheath and goes on a rampage punching through concrete and metal walls to give Sheath the beatdown she deserves.

Quake: Captain Stacy, please, I will give you evidence that Ghost Spider was framed by Sheath, but right now, I need you to get everyone somewhere safe. Please.

Captain Stacy: .... *looks down and sighs* Officers, fall back! Get civilians to safety! Go! Go! Go!

Inferno kept up his fire bloom until he was too tired to keep going, Quake knelt down to (Y/n).

Quake: Go help the others with Exile, I'll take care of him.

Ghost Spider kept after Sheath throwing punches and kicks while avoiding her energy dagger strikes. Ghost Spider then roundhouse kicked Sheath in the face, sending skidding across the ground face-first until she comes to a stop in front of Captain Stacy. The police Captain starts to grab his handcuffs, when Sheath says to Ghost Spider.

Sheath: You want to save humans? Save him.

Sheath erupted up into the air with her energy daggers ready to stab Captain Stacy.

Ghost Spider: No!

Ghost Spider rushed in between the two, and used somewebbing as a shield, but the daggers punched through and hit Ghost Spider in the stomach as well. Ghost Spider dropped to the ground while Captain Stacy looked surprised by her action, as she manages to recover.

Captain Stacy: Ghost Spider, why?

Ghost Spider: I couldn't save Kevin, but I can save you.

Ghost Spider charges forward and misses a punch as Sheath side steps, she then conjures another energy dagger and lifts it in the air ready to stab it down into Ghost Spider, but Gwen manages to grab Sheath's wrists and tries to stop them.

Sheath: You know, I'm glad it ended this way. Just you and me.

Ghost Spider: Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm not the only one who wants payback for what you did.

Sheath looked confused until both women heard a familiar roar, Gwen smirked under her mask as (Y/n) had finished transforming into his Charizard form and charged at Sheath. Ghost Spider used some webs to tie Sheath's hands together.

Ghost Spider: Later loser.

Charizard grabbed Sheath by the neck and then slammed and dragged her through the ground. He then flew up and pulled off a Seismic Toss and threw Sheath into Exile, knocking them both to the ground.

(Y/n): *Roars*

Ghost Spider: Secret Warriors find cover!

(Y/n): Final move. Blast Burn!

Charizard channeled all the firepower he had and punched his fist into the ground, the resulting quake charged at the two villain and then caused a massive explosion underneath the two supervillains. The Secret Warriors looked on awestruck, and sweaty for the heat.

Squirrel Girl: Now that was a hot flame. Awesome!

Ghost Spider approached Charizard who looked down at the two unconscious villains.

(Y/n): We could end this. Right here, right now.

Ghost Spider: Revenge is a villain's notion, and we're not villains. *binds both villains with her webs*

Captain Stacy: Are you really so happy I'm alive Ghost Spider? *Ghost Spider turns around to face Stacy* It doesn't change anything between us. You can't bribe me, even if you saved my life.

Quake: Sorry, Captain, but you're wrong. Sheath here attacked Kevin. If you compare his wounds against her powers, I'm sure you'll see it. You've been afte the wrong woman this whole time.

Captain Stacy: *astonished* No. No, you ran. You assaulted my officers.

Patriot: And she saved your life. Doesn't that count for something?

Captain Stacy: .......... Officers, take these two into custody. *to Secret Warriors* Get out, before I change my mind.

Ms. Marvel: Lockjaw, we're ready.

Lockjaw teleports behind the heroes and gets ready to teleport again.

Captain Stacy: This makes us even Ghost Spider, but it doesn't make this over.

Lcokjaw teleports everyone back to the Secret Warriors headquarters and everyone else starts celebrating.

Inferno: Ah man, I can't believe we finally put that creep behind bars.

Squirrel Girl: And it's all thanks to you, Patriot. You did it!

Patriot: We pulled of the Million-Punch Hurricane because we did it together. Besides, it was (Y/n) who delivered the final blow.

Ms. Marvel: Yeah! That move was intense!

(Y/n): *snorts* Whatever.

Patriot: Okay? Who's up for a snack before debrief?

Everyone starts celebrating, but Ghost Spider and (Y/n) don't immediately follow.

Patriot: You coming, Ghostie? Charizard?

Ghost Spider: Sheath's locked up, but Captain Stacy is not gonna stop chasing me.

Patriot: But you're not alone anymore either, not if you don't want to be. I was alone for a long time too, but letting people in, even if they aren't perfect, it's made me better. Do you need to be alone, or have you been alone so long you're used to it.

Patriot exends his out to Ghost Spider, but she hesitates.

Ghost Spider: Yeah, because I'm so great with people. I push away my friends and I can't go home. You don't want me.

Squirrel Girl: Oh come on! Just shake hands already!

Ghost Spider: *laughes* Fine.

Squirrel Girl: *excited* What about you, Flame Brain?

(Y/n) looks around at everyone expecting him to say yes, but.....

(Y/n): ...........No!

(Y/n) blasts a hole in the ceiling with his flames and flies out of the headquarters. Everyone was shocked, except for Gwen.

America Chavez: What was that all about?

Gwen: *saddened sigh* He doesn't trust me anymore.

(A/N): Man, that's rough.... Uh, I mean, CUT! Great work. Someone make sure we have insurance to cover that hole in the roof. Everyone else, change out of costume and get to lunch.
