It was the day where you finally arrived at the 100th floor, finally be able to defeat the creator of this game once and for all. Standing in front of the castle, you ready yourself for what came to you. Victory or death. As you came closer to the gates, you already hear the sound of swords clashing against each other. Opening up the gates, your eyes started to water. There before you were the people you still held dear to your heart. The family you still loved even after everything you went through. Your face was covered by the hood of your cloak as you walked in and charged at the boss. Everyone marveled at your skill, the swiftness and damage of your hits, the speed you went at. You watched as everyone around you got tired, all lowering to yellow in their hp bar. You cried as you fought, fought for the freedom of your family. You wanted them to be free of this world. You raged, throwing random attacks at the boss, making him stumble and angrier.

'This ice is thick, cause I been so afraid to break'

You swung in rage, your frozen heart started to beat once more when you saw Kirito. You ignored him, the ice thickening more.

'But you stormed in and shattered the walls I've made'

Kirito ran alongside you, helping you give more effective attacks to the boss. You saw him smile at you and your heart pounded once more, tears streaming nonstop.

'And I know, that I was speeding through the race'

You swung again, speeding up. You remember all the memories rushing through you. At first, you wanted to have a higher level than everyone who wanted to escape this death game.

'But I know, that the way you move is driving me insane'

But when you met Kirito, your life turned upside down. He helped you smile again after a long time. He helped you to truly live life to the fullest. Taking a day at a time.

'And I probably shouldn't stay'

Screaming at the painful memories, you went faster than ever before, wanting to escape. You wanted to leave. You didn't want your heart to break again.

Your mind fills with memories of you and Kirito. Memories of your friends as a family in your heart. You loved them so dearly.

Akihiko swings at Silica, her body thrown into a wall. You desperately watch as her hp drops to red. You pant in anger seeing her hurt. A family member hurt.

You look at Akihiko, undesirable anger in your eyes as he just smirked at you, enjoying the reaction he got out of you. He waits for your attack, still smirking.

'Let's break the rules now and I just want to lose it all'

You scream, using your secret skill of duel wielding, attacking with all your might. Akihiko blocks every move but you throw him off when you go faster. No one able to see you or depict your moves.

You cry out for Silica as she stays unconscious. You quickly go to her and give her a healing potion before going against Akihiko again.

You watch as Liz gets hit, tumbling away from the fight. You see her, unmoving and the tears keep coming. You unexpectedly punch Akihiko in the face and roundhouse kick him in the stomach.

Running to her, you use another healing potion, not caring if your hp was also low. You just wanted your family to stay alive and safe.

'This oceans deep, but you've been crashing all the waves'

You hear a shout as Kirito stands before you and Liz, blocking an attack by Akihiko from hitting you. He smiles at you but widens his eyes.

'I just don't sleep, cause dreaming doesn't drift the same'

You avoid his onyx eyes as he figures out it was you. Eyes that kept you awake at night crying again and again. The memories keeping you awake at night.

'And I know, that I was speeding through the race'

You run away from Kirito, deflecting an oncoming attack from Akihiko. Kirito takes this chance to try and talk to you as he helps you attack, but you ignore him, your heart hurting once more.

'But I know, that the way you move is driving me insane'

You watch from the corner of your eye, the love in his eyes as he looks at you. You look away and continue to fight, trying to ignore the pounding of your heart. Kirito frowns. He wanted to see you smile at him again.

'And I probably shouldn't stay'

You deflect another attack, but it was stronger as you fly, falling on top of Kirito. He catches you, landing on his back instead of you. Kirito smiles lightly at the familiar warmth when he used to hug you.

You watch as his eyes search yours, your faces so close together, noses almost touching. Kirito smiles at you, love in his eyes. He tries to talk to you but you shake your head. You try to get up from Kirito but get thrown to the side by Akihiko.

'Got me off against the wall'

You slam against the wall, your hood falling, gasps heard from everyone. You see tears in their eyes as they've missed you. They all were wondering where you were. It was never the same without you. They all loved you like family. Kirito always thought about you every day, worried about you.

Kirito tries to help you up but your eyes widen when Klien gets thrown, his hp to red. Tears drop down and you struggle to get up. You push Kirito away, him frowning at you as you push yourself to your limit.

'Let's break the rules now and I just want to lose it all'

You head over to him, using another potion. Only have two left in your inventory. Kirito tries to help you again, holding onto you. You shrug him off, leaning on the wall for support. You quickly wipe away tears before Kirito wiped them away for you.

You hear a scream and you turn to see Asuna on the floor struggling to get up. Her hp was also low. Ignoring the fact that she was able to win Kiritos love, you help her, only having one more potion left in your inventory.

Rage fills your entire being and your run off to Akihiko. He struggles to keep up with your attacks along with Kiritos. Kirito watches in awe as he falls in love with you more and more. He never forgot about you and it killed him that he made you cry. Remembering your pain-stricken face, he swore to never do that to you again.

Kirito and you were left to fight Akihito. Both of you were tired and weak but you both never gave up. Kirito took most of the damage, wanting to protect you like he weren't able to in the past. He took the hits, somehow thinking that you would forgive him.

Your vision weakens as your strength depletes but you don't give up. Kirito smiles at you once more and your hearts pounds again. That smile that held hope. Those eyes that held love. Love for you and no one else.

Akihiko throws off the unexpected Kirito, him thrown up on to the roof before falling back down to the floor. He struggles to get up but fails. You scream out, tears spilling once again for Kirito.

Even though he caused you heartbreak, even though he hurt you, you give Kirito your last potion, still loving him all this time. You always thought of him every day, even if it broke your heart. You never did stop loving him, even though you were miles apart.

'Let's break the rules now and I just want to lose it all'

Everyone watches you as you turn to Akihiko. Him smiling maliciously. At your weak state, your attacks get weaker and weaker. Your family watches in anguish, hoping you didn't die. They struggled to get up but realised they were paralysed.

Unknowing of you and leaving yourself open, Akihiko punctures you with his sword. You stop short, dropping your swords, falling down on your knees. You failed them, you failed your family. You failed Kirito.

'But I know, that the way you move is driving me insane'

Everyone screams out for you, crying. No, you wouldn't die here and leave your family trapped. You would free them. Kirito screams out the loudest but you just turn to him and smile once more as a tear rolls down your cheek.

'And I probably shouldn't stay'

Your love for him would always stay by his side, even if you left this world. For once, you weren't scared, you were happy that you were able to free your family. And to free your love. You wanted them all to live happily.

'But I know I want to stay'

You were glad that you met Kirito, that you met Asuna, Liz, Silica, and Klien. You would never forget them, even when you leave them behind once more. You pick up your swords again as Akihiko turns his back towards you, thinking you were finished.

Kiritos eyes widen when you turn to him once more and mouth him those three words that he wanted to tell you himself. I love you. You turn back around and with all your might, lay one last strong attack, both swords going through Akihiko's back, killing him. You watch as he disappears and the game makes the announcement. You fall to the ground but get caught by Kirito.

Kirito lays you on his lap, holding onto you. He cries holding you close to him, whispering for you not to leave. He finally tells you those three words you dreamed of hearing and you smile once more before you disappear. Kirito struggles to hold you against him but drops to the floor crying.

Kirito finally wakes up, quickly taking the NerveGear off and struggling to exit his hospital room. He looks around to see all the patients screaming with joy as Aincrad was finally defeated. Amongst the crowd, he tries to find that one person his heart yearns for. The girl with the flowing (h/l) (h/c) hair, bright (e/c) eyes, flawless (s/c) skin, rosy cheeks, and plump pink lips.

'Let's break the rules now and I just want to lose it all'

Kirito couldn't find you in the crowd so he starts looking in every room. His heart dropped more and more every time he found an empty room. He eventually found his friends and they all helped him. They all get discouraged, tears falling down, accepting that a dear family member didn't make it.

Kirito doesn't give up and finds one more door and barges through. His heart leaped when he found you still not awake. He slowly walks in, tears spilling as he looked at the monitor to see your heart stopped. He drops to his knees, gripping your hand, shouting over and over again for you to wake up.

Kirito shouts over and over that he loves you, shakily getting up in his feet and leans forward. Resting his forehead on yours, he slowly kisses you, hoping you would feel his love. After some time, he feels your lips move against his. Kirito moves back in surprise to see you crying. Kirito holds you tight against you, both declaring your love for each other.

You look into Kiritos eyes and hold his cheek, as he leans into your hand, you doing the same. Kirito catches your lips with his once more, wrapping an arm around your waist as if you would disappear again. You tangle a hand in his long hair deepening the kiss, not wanting to let go. Kirito makes you lean back on the bed, the kiss becoming rougher and more passionate. Before things could get heated, he leans back and rests his forehead on yours, looking into each other's eyes and smiling. You smile knowing that you finally found each other.
