*Based on a quote from Doctor Stranger* Love this drama btw 💖💖
Note: I based the schooling system on Australia or whatever countries that uses numbers and grades for different years and not sophomores or juniors like America or other countries like that.

(Y/n) - your name
(B/f/n) - best friends name
It was the one day that most people either excitedly waited for or either dreaded of its arrival and the mere existence of it. It was the day that your grade was going to a Careers Expo. You were not ready to go to the expo just to be bombarded with different universities and them rambling on and on about why you should go to their university. You weren't ready for that since you still had no clue on what to pick as a path in university. Only having this year and the next year of high school, it dawned on you how quickly time was passing and the fact that you needed to choose a university. And quick. Lining up in homerooms, each class got called to get on the bus and soon it was your class next that was called on. You sat next to (b/f/n), them expressing the exact same feelings about the expo. As you sat down, your body instantly fell into exhaustion from the previous night. School is definitely ruining your sleeping schedule. With your music blasting through your ears just to drown out the chatter of the other students, despite your pounding headache you close your eyes and get as much as sleep as you could.
"(y/n)? Wake up sleepy head." you hear laughter and something clicking. You instantly know that it was your friends taking pictures of you and groan out.
"Really. You took pics?" they all just laugh as you get up from your seat, taking your bag with you and exiting the bus after thanking the driver. You once again line in homerooms just so they could hand you the ticket of entry. While that was happening, you noticed other schools standing around. There were so many, and more coming and getting dropped off by buses and coaches.
"Now. I know there are other schools here but you are here to talk to universities and not stare at girls or boys." there were snickers heard as the teacher went on explaining that time shouldn't be wasted or about the features of the expo. Hands instantly wrapped around your shoulder and you got dragged off into the expo.
At first, you weren't interested and just got dragged around but you suddenly wanted to stay and listen to what these universities could offer you. You stood by a business university, listening to a first-year student describe how her year was going. You were interested in business, as well as the arts, design, media, and games. You had too many options at the moment. Blinking, you came out of your trance and turned back around.
"They actually ditched me. Those jerks." You muttered in annoyance, suddenly feeling a little claustrophobic from the jam-packed venue filled with students. Sighing out, you walk away from the stall after snagging a booklet. Taking out your phone, you decided to call (b/f/n) knowing that her phone will be in her hands. As you were dialing (b/f/n), you accidentally bump into a strong body, almost falling over and dropping a few booklets.
"Watch where you're going." You quickly regained your posture and pick up your booklets.
"I'm so sorry." you stand up straight and freeze. Before you was a guy that was extremely good looking. He had straight black hair that was styled in an undercut and intimidating stormy gray eyes. You instantly figured that he was probably shorter than most guys due to him being only a few centimeters taller than you. His lips were set in a scowl. "I'm so sorry. I really am." You gulp and walk past him, taking a glance behind you to see him walk away. "Damn that ass though." after your encounter, you finally found your group sitting on the floor by the cafeteria and just casually eating their lunch. "You ditchers. How could you leave me in that!?" yelled at your friends, hands on your hips.
"You just looked so interested." one of your friends smirked and you roll your eyes at them.
"Yeah. Seems like you really were invested in that business university." another one snickers.
"You didn't." you give them a deadpan look for the lamest pun ever.
"I did." you sigh out and sit down.
"We just wanted to see how long it would take for you to find us." you narrowed your eyes at your friend you were sitting next to.
"You guys are horrible."
"Hey, we all split up. It was like hide and seek. But with education." (b/f/n) laughed. You all started to eat, the group talking about the hot looking people they found while they were out scoping from the second floor. You didn't want to tell them about your encounter with the short gorgeous man, as they would think you were lying. There was no way, a man that hot, was created. Ever. After talking and goofing around and sending memes to random people on airdrop, you all get up to head to a seminar that was starting near the back of the venue. Still having some time to kill before then, your group all walk around again. You were absolutely bored out of your mind until you found a caravan parked smack bang in the middle of the place. There were other people gaming around the caravan, university students talking with other younger students. You saw students creating game characters and testing out beta games. You dabbled a bit in the arts and loved to game so you walked to the caravan like a moth to a flame.
"Welcome to AIE University." you turn your head and see the short guy from before walking out of the caravan. He raises a brow when seeing you. Your friends all mutter about how gorgeous he was but you stood there unfazed. "Hello. What year might you guys be?" he was awfully kind. It didn't surprise you since it would give the university a bad reputation if he started bad mouthing at others.
"Year 11."
"Good. So who's interested in gaming?" all your friends instantly point out to you and you glare at them. "Which are you interested in, the computer coding or the arts?"
"I prefer the arts." The guy nods and instantly starts talking about the university. One of your friends ask him what year he was in and you find out that he was in his first year, so he was only about 2-3 years older than you.
"Whats going on over there?" (b/f/n) points out to people going in and out of the caravan.
"That's where the character creating system is held. You can go in and Petra would happily show you how it works. You can create your own little game character.
"(y/n) you so need to check that out."
"I don't know."
"Come on!" you once again get dragged off and you sigh out.
Once inside the caravan, you get seated in front of the computer and Petra explains the controls to you. Your friends watched as you created your signature game character. A little ghost with a belt and a single flower on it. You didn't realise the students from the other schools were watching you work in amazement. The gorgeous man even came to see how you went and was amazed at how quickly you made your character with so much detail.
"Have you done this before?" You jump in your seat and screamed, a hand to your heart.
"Omg."
"Be careful. You scared the poor girl." the gorgeous guy just shrugs as his friend Petra scolds him and waits for your answer.
"Yeah. Sometimes." after your game character design was printed out, you walked out of the caravan with your friends and the guy, following behind you. Your attention was instantly captured by two teenagers racing each other on a game.
"There are some students versing each other on this beta game that a competitor had sent to us."
"Competitor?"
"Our university hold competitions for beta game developers and these developers are able to send the game to us and we test it out and rank which one is the best on quality, detail, computer coding and more. One of our competitors allowed us to air their game here at the expo for other people to play. But we don't know who they are or their name so we can't credit them." you just nod your head, watching a student play. He was playing as a small rock, jumping over other rocks and reaching the end of the race he was versing, with his mate next to him. The game was clean and well developed, it didn't glitch and the controls were easy. Even though the game was set in a jungle with a lot of trees, the sky peeking just through the leaves, a rocky path and a clear blue river, it was very detailed.
"Lets race each other next."
"You and me?" the guy points to you and then to him. You nod as the two students finish playing and walkway, leaving the game to restart for the next race. The guy named his game character, which was a windex bottle, Levi. You questioned his mentality when you saw the windex bottle.
"Let me guess. Your name is pronounced as Levi and not Levy." you snicker as he turns back to you, a hint of surprise in his eyes before it flickered away.
"You're the first brat that actually got my name right."
"Ever heard of Fairy Tail. Figured you might be a little peeved if i called you Levy." You smile, using your newly developed ghost character in the game. You named yourself Bubs and waited for the game to count down. Once the game started and the air horn rang from the game, Levi went into a dash. You just watched him, manoeuvring his character very well and skilfully. He never did once bump in to the rocks he was supposed to jump over. In no time, he crossed the finish line and the screen showed a bubble letter "Congratulations". Levi turns to you with a smirk. You just nod and turn back to the game. You manoeuvred your little ghost into the rocks, moving forward towards the screen and back, sometimes left and right.
"Do you need help? You are bumping into the rocks." the game consoled vibrated with each movement of the rock, an added sensory computer code that was included in the game. You could even hear the noise the rocks make when you moved them. You didn't notice people starting to watch what you were doing, confused at why you were not heading for the finish line. You were finally near the finish line, bumping into one more rock and moving it into place. You turn to Levi with a closed fist raised.
"1. 2. 3. 4. 5." After each finger was raised, the screen changes to all the rocks jumping up alive and dancing. People gasped at the new addition to the game that no one who played the beta game accomplished. Levi stared shock at the words on the screen. The large screen had large bubbled words "You won the game!" with confetti being shot out from the words. The camera on the game eventually zooms out and tilts to have a birds eye view on the world and the rocks below. People clapped as they read what the rocks formed into words. The rocks eventually stop jumping up and down in joy. You read "Created by Bubs" and nodded, smiling as you turned to Levi who was shocked, his eyes wide.
"How did you know that the game had that addition?"
"Look at my character name." you smiled at him and stood up, ready to head to the cafeteria. You friends clapped you on your back as Levi stood up as well from his seat.
"You're the creator?" You nod.
"Yes Levi."
"What's your name-"
"We have to go now, i'm hungry." (b/f/n) calls out, dragging you away from AIE caravan. You turn back around to Levi and wave.
