(Y/n) (l/n). A young beautiful girl of age 12. Whose (h/l) (h/c) hair frames her porcelain (s/c) skin and rosy (l/c) lips adorning her young innocent face. A slim body every girl desires to have and a personality like an angel from the heavens. But what stands out the most is her eyes. Her dull (e/c) eyes. Eyes devoid of any image, eyes that only see black and no colour, eyes that have never seen the big yellow sun or the clear blue skies. Eyes that have never seen another persons face. Born without sight, (y/n) has ever been able to see the once bright world she lived in, but fortunately now that she can't see the dark world she lives in now. Though young and beautiful, (y/n) has been living on the streets. Ever since her parent's unsolved death, she has been living amongst the hidden in the alleys, staying with other lost children of the dark world. Becoming a somewhat mother of the lost children, (y/n) stealing food, making sure they all were fed. She endures the beatings of the higher class when caught her stealing, took the abuse from every shop owner, just so these children would grow up healthy. She cared for them just as her late parents have. She loved her parents and they loved her. She never understood how they died, besides her, escaping her burning mansion. (Y/n), never to see her parents again after the flames were gone. She was once a higher class woman but now shoved to a class of peasants.
As young as her, (y/n) has lived a life no girl would ever want to live. A nightmare as a life where men ravish her body for God forbidden sins every night. Injuries beyond fixed, losing the one thing precious to her in the process. Forced to do the unthinkable with older men and serve them in any way possible, just to get some money. (Y/n)'s life is dark, but she never gives up on hope. On the run constantly, starving for many weeks, malnourished and weak, she never gives up. Though blind, (y/n) sings her pains and her promises out into the world after the last light goes off. She sings to her heart's content every night under the stars and the moon, though not knowing what they look like. She sings of how the world she lives in is dark and unforgiving. Punishing her for some otherworldly reason. No one was there to save her in the beginning, and no one will now. Though that all changed when a particular blue-grayish haired boy hears her singing one night.
Ciel Phantomhive, a well-known earl of England. But also secretly known as the Queen's Guard Dog. 13 years of age, he is the successor of his late father, continuing his work while searching for those who have destroyed his life from the very beginning. Beside him, his cunning butler, a follower of Satan named Sebastian Michaelis. Witnessing the death of his parents, the burning of his mansion and the scarring moment of his life at age 10, he swore to himself to make those who wronged him feel the same pain he felt. In his carriage, on his way back home, Ciel hears faint singing in the distance. He hears the pain and angst in the lyrics, now intrigued to find out who was singing at the dead of night.
"Sebastian. Stop the carriage." The demon butler nods, smirking to himself slightly. The carriage halts to a stop and Ciel exits from the help of his butler. "Find out where that singing is coming from."
"Yes. My lord." Sebastian says before sweeping Ciel in his arms and carrying him to the sound. Sebastian brings Ciel to an open field filled with many roses and flowers. Turning his head, he finds the figure standing in the middle of the field, looking up at the sky, singing their heart out. And that's when he realises, that it was a female, the angelic words going through him. Slowly, as if a lion was approaching a deer, he walks towards you.
Ciel has never felt such calm and slight happiness when he heard you sing. He felt as if the world was not dark at all and that he was living a happy life. He felt as if he was whole, that there was no trace of vengeance in his heart that was eating him inside out. He forgot his past, he forgot his dark memories, he forgot his pain, his revenge, his anger, and angst. All from listening to you. The breeze dances across the sky, circling the field with the many flowers and rose petals, some caught in your beautiful hair. Ciel observes you. The way your hair flies in the breeze, the way your dress flutters around your feet and how your face is turned towards the moon, lighting it up in its silver rays. Ciel has never seen someone as so beautiful in his life as you. Never heard someone sing out their feelings before and so beautifully.
Unknowing to the presence beside you, you continue to sing, fate having other ideas. As last note flies wind the breeze, you heave out a huge sigh, a stray tear falling down your cheeks. You feel a gloved hand move to your cheek, wiping away the tear. You flinch away, your heart rate quickening as those dark memories start to resurface. Turning your head, you sense out the figure is in front of you.
"Who are you?" Your voice unwavering but your hands shaking. You hold them at your chest, as you try to sense this person. Though you are blind, your other senses are heightened. You are able to hear more than others, able to maneuver yourself around objects as if you were able to see. You memorise places by counting your steps, creating an image in your head. Your eyes, though only to not see the world around, you are able to see auras. Auras of people, but only if you know them.
"I am Earl Phantomhive." Using your ears, you realise that this is a boy around your age. You hear the crunching of flowers coming towards you and you move back, knowing that the Earl is walking towards you.
"What do you want with me?" You strain your eyes at the figure in front of you, trying to read an aura from him. You hear heavier footsteps and you panic. You start to hyperventilate when you don't see an aura from the second figure. Scared, you run off into the dark.
"Sebastian. Don't let her go." Ciel commands, slightly upset at the demon butler for scaring you off. The butler kneels, bowing his head.
"As you wish my lord." Sebastian once again carries Ciel and runs after you into the alleyways. Your breath fogging in front of you, your dress whipping behind you, you run for your life like you always have. Something about the boy's aura was off and that aura less man that was approaching you. You run along the walls, your hand skimming against the bricks, getting nicks and cuts.
"10 steps right." You turn right, knowing you are now going through a warehouse. "25 steps straight. Stairs." You reach the stairs, holding onto the railing. Knowing after three flights, you are standing in front of a door to the roof. You open the door and run. " 30 steps. Ledge."
"Wait!" You hear the boy again, and you stop short. You hear the pleading in his voice and your narrow your eyes. You repeat the number 10 over and over again, trying to remember that's the many steps left till you reach the end of the roof.
"10. 10. 10. 10. What do you want with me!? 10. 10. 10. 10."
"I just want to hire you. As a maid at my mansion." You shake your head whispering the number. No, no more. Enough of serving these pigs known as man. You hear the Earl walking forward and you move back one step.
"9." He keeps coming and you panic, knowing that you won't have much space to run before you jump over to the next roof.
"Come with me."
"Stop."
"Why?"
"8."
"Sebastian. Why is she counting down?" You hear the boy whisper, now knowing the name of the aura less man.
"Stop right there!" You shout, only having 7 steps left. "Don't come any closer!" You strain your ears, knowing that they both have stopped walking. "7." You turn around, placing your dominant foot first and sprinting off.
"Wait!" The boy shouts, making you lose your counting. Ciel shouts, panicking when you don't jump but fall off the roof. He hears you scream and his heart pains in his chest. "Sebastian! This is an order! Save that girl!" Sebastian nods, his eyes gleaming dark pink. Ciel watches as Sebastian disappears. Ciel runs to the edge, letting out a huge breath as he sees you alive in Sebastian's arms. Sebastian jumps onto the roof, holding you. Ciel frowns when he sees your face streaked with tears. "Let's go." Ciel orders, him and Sebastian walking back to the carriage. He constantly looks at your sleeping face, wiping away your tears. In the carriage, Ciel holds you, your head resting on his lap as they drive home. Ciel watches you're breathing, smoothing your hair away from your face. Why would someone as beautiful as you live out in the streets? Did you run away? He blushes when your hand grasps his, your head in his shirt. Your lips tremble as more tears spill out. "Shh. It's ok. You're ok. I'm here." Ciel watches as you calm down. Holding you in his arms feels right as he looks out the window. The carriage comes to a stop and the door opens. Sebastian was about to carry you but Ciel stops him. "I'll carry her." Holding you bridal style, he gets out of the carriage and walks to his mansion.
