(Y/n) - your name

(S/n) - siblings name

(Y/f/n) - your full name

I always seemed to be a burden to you.

Now I'm gone and I'm never coming back.

You won't find me and I intend for it to stay that way.

I never want to come back and I never will.

Like you've always wanted.

Like I've always planned.

I'm sorry (s/n), it was either disappearing like this.

Or trying to kill myself, even though I am afraid of death.

Not your daughter anymore, (y/f/n).

It was every man for themselves.

Your backpack bounced on your back, the cold wind nipping at your exposed skin. You shuddered in your (f/c) hoodie, your sneakers and trackies. It was always cold out at night, the moon mocking you and hiding behind the clouds as it seemed to not want to help you. Your glasses continuously fall on your nose, you continuously having to fix it. Your hoodie falls back, your hair flying behind you as you ran away from the place you used to call home. You never felt as if you belonged, so why not take action to a runaway plan. One you have planned ever since you were 15. Now 18, no one would care if you disappeared, a stray young adult who went down the wrong path.

You dodged the passing branches of trees, carefully jumping over rocks or logs or any other trip hazards. The trees loomed high over your head, covering you in darkness and utter silence. No other sounds of creatures to be heard in a miles radius. You were alone, and you were happy. For once. Free. Finally free. No one could stop you now. You slowed down to a casual walk, glancing up at the sky, little fireflies surrounding you. You smiled, walking forward. You looked back, stopping. You could still see the city lights. No other sounds disturbed the city lifestyle. No sounds of the police or the ambulance. No sounds of people looking for you. You let out a heavy breath, your whole body suddenly feeling light, the invisible weight on your shoulders lifting.

You turned back around and continued walking, never looking back at the city. Your head was filled with the pounding of your music, your feet walking along with the beat. As quick as it had started, the peace and quiet had ended just as quick. You screamed out, your hair raising up as you continued to fall rapidly. Air rushed passed you, the floor never seeming to come to sight. Tears fall out rapidly, soon to float up as you fall at a rapid speed. You clutched your bag to your chest, your possessions being your one safe house from reality. To keep you sane and happy. You were willing to take the impact and the bone breaking pain. You deserved it anyway. Don't you think?

Light blinded your eyelids, your clouded mind coming back to consciousness. You tried to rub your eyes but couldn't move. You tried again, only getting feeling in your fingers. Soon, the feeling spread to your whole arm and you rubbed your eyes, opening them to see a circle of clear blue sky. You raised your hand, staring at a passing cloud, the sunlight shining down at you. You bore a confused face. The circle of the sky was small, surrounded by dark walls. You raised yourself up with your hand, gasping out in pain as your whole body shook from the pain. Tears continued to stream out as you whimpered loudly, clutching your stomach. You saw your bag near you and you crawled over to it, opening it to see your possessions safe from harm. You smile, tears falling. You crawled to a wall with your bag, sitting up with your back against it. You closed your eyes, wincing from the pain, hoping that resting would maybe decrease the pain.

"H-hello?" A small but high pitched voice rang through your ears as you slowly opened your eyes. Blinking, you saw a stray yellow flower in front of you. Brows creased in confusion as you look around to see that it was the only flower, strayed away from the patch in the middle of the hole. You look back at it to see that it had a face.

"Flowers have a face?" You cock your head and the flower does the same.

"A-are you o-ok?" The voice rang out again and the mouth of the flower moved. You blinked, staring at the flower.

"That's it. I've gone mad. Flowers can't talk." You mumble before standing up. You wince out in pain, stumbling over your injured left foot. You raise it from the floor, trying to relieve the pain as your back was against the wall. You breathe heavily, your leg throbbing from the pain.

"Y-you're n-not ok. I-I'll be b-back." The flower that talked digs its way into the ground and disappeared.

"What?" The flower instantly comes back with some sticks and vines.

"S-sit." You comply, absolutely dumbfounded. You roll up your trackies and the flower places two sticks on either side of your leg, keeping it in place with some vines. The flower gave you a bigger one like a walking stick. You slowly stood up, putting your weight on the larger stick.

"Thank you." You mumble the words, feeling how empty they are but the flower seems to be moved by them. You sling your bag on your back, ready to leave.

"W-wait!" You sigh out, turning around to stare at the flower. "H-how are you n-not shocked?" It stares up at you, as you finally take a better look at it. Its petals were drooped, some torn or bits ripped off. It had fear in its eyes. An emotion you knew all too well.

"I have an open mind." You shrug, leaning on the stick. "What's your name?"

"M-me?" The flowers little leaves points at itself like hands as you nod. "Flowey." You smile softly.

"I'm (y/n)." As soon as you smiled, you stopped. Flowey stares at you but quivers.

"I-it's dangerous here. Y-you need to l-leave." You shrug and start to walk. "H-hey! Didn't y-you listen!? It's k-kill or be k-killed." You shrug once more not giving two shits.

"I don't care." You yell out and you stop short when you hear burrowing and see Flowey in your way.

"D-do you have a d-death wish?" You stared at the flower passively and kept walking past it. "E-even if you d-do, I won't let y-you." Flower than digs himself out of the ground and attaches himself to your stick. You stare at him, seeing the vines wind down the stick with Flowey near the top. "W-well, what are y-you waiting for? L-let's get outta h-here."

Flower continues to stare at you bemused and in utter awe despite the extreme cold winds blowing at the two of you. You had completely entered Snowdin through the ruins without any monster staring at you or Toriel coming after you. It was as if you were invisible.

"It's a talent." Your mouth twitches, remembering the times you would prank your friends because you were extremely quiet and slick in movement. Metaphorically speaking, you were invisible. You never got caught when switching their phones or getting off the hook for not doing work. No one batted an eye at you when you wanted. Now walking amongst the monster-filled town, you head to look for some shelter. You raised a brow at these monster style of fashion. Their main colours were dark and bloody, mainly red and black. You shrugged and kept walking. Flowey starts to quiver in fear from being so out in the open, hiding his face in your hoodie. You finally arrived at a hotel of sorts, opening the door.

"Thought there might be some bell or something." There was no sound as you opened the door and you saw no one at the reception desk. Walking to the board filled with keys, you snag one and walk up the stairs before the bunny monster had walked back to her desk. You hobbled to your room and opened the door, locking it behind you before collapsing on the bed.

"H-hey! C-can't breathe h-here!" Floweys face was smooshed into the pillows and you lifted the stick to rest it against the bed. The cold had finally gotten to you and you shivered, opting for a shower.

"Do you want to eat anything?" Flowey shakes his head and you grab a change of clothes from your bag and take a shower. After you had finished, you washed your dirty clothes and dried them with a hair dryer before packing them away in your bag. You snuggle into your bed, relief flooding through your body as you could finally rest your aching leg.

You were walking around Snowdin, a large stolen cloak hiding your whole body and your bag as you used the large stick to help you walk. It made you look like a wizard or another Riverman. Flowey hated this but you needed to restock on resources despite the pain in your leg. You did stay in the hotel for a few weeks now. Flowey kept a lookout for the two skeletons just in case. You grew tired quickly, deciding to head home when you were face to face with a skeleton. You lowered your head so the hoodie obscured your features, the sleeves covering your hands. You kept walking past him till you felt his bony hand grasp your shoulder.

"Never seen you 'round town. Ya new to Snowdin?" You kept quiet, not moving a muscle. You were a little terrified of the skeleton. He was short but looked dangerous. He has sharp teeth, with one being gold. Adorned with a black winter jacket with a fur hood and a gray cotton hoodie, and a red sweater with black pants that have yellow stripes going down. What surprised you the most was that he was wearing slippers. Red ones at that. You cringe at imaginations of snow getting into the slipper and giving you cold feet. "Not a talker huh." You see one of his eyes start to flare red and your mind starts to yell at you to run. You breathe heavily, trying to calm your fast-beating heart.

"W-we have to r-run (y/n)!" Flowey murmurs within your cloak. The skeleton lifts a non-existing brow and swiftly pushes your hoodie off. He snarls at you as you stare back at him. There wasn't anything you could. Your leg was still injured and you couldn't run. Even if you did, the skeleton would catch you. You look around to see other monsters snarling at you. You look back at the skeleton as he was ready to fight. You stood there, leaning on the stick as you raised the volume in your headphones. Flowey keeps telling you to run but you don't listen.

"What's the point. I can't run. Remember." You say and the skeleton looks down at your leg to see your left one lifted. He grins at you as he saw you as easy prey. His hands flare up red, sharp bones surrounding him. You throw your stick with Flowey on it away, it landing on the snow. "Go Flowey." You order him.

"(Y/n)! No, I can't-"

"Leave. Plus. I don't want you to see me die." Flowey shakes before burrowing away. "Not so willingly anyway." You say out to no one and the skeletons falters when hearing you say this. The skeleton narrows his eye sockets at you. "What are you waiting for? I've got nothing to live for anyway." You say out to the skeleton and he drops his hands, the bones disappearing.

"SANS!" Sans, as you figured was the name of the skeleton winces before slowly turning around to see another skeleton. He was much taller than the short Sans. He has a scar running from his right eye, sharp teeth, and red eyes. His battle body consisted of a faded red and black colour scheme, with broad, spiked shoulder armour, red gloves, and black tight pants. His red scarf acting almost like a cape. "WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU!? YOU WEREN'T AT THE STATION LIKE YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE!"

"Sorry Boss. But I was looking for this human." The taller skeletons turns to you and grins.

"THE GREAT AND EVIL PAPYRUS HAS FOUND A HUMAN!" He stalks to you.

"Sans found me. Not you." You hobble to the wall and lean on it, your arms crossed.

"YOU INSOLENT WELP! HOW DARE YOU TALK BACK TO THE GREAT PAPYRUS!" You raised a brow at him.

"I'm not talking back. I'm stating facts." Papyrus growls at you, shaking in anger. You look back at Sans and give him a thumbs up leaving him in shock.

"SANS! DO YOUR JOB FOR ONCE AND BRING THIS HUMAN TO THE CELL!" Papyrus seethes at you before stalking off. Sans and you both watch him walk away.

"Don't let him walk all over you." You state before hobbling painfully to your stick. With a hand on the wall, you tried to pick up your stick without falling. Flowey was gone. You kinda missed Flowey, not used to being without him. Before you pick up your stick, a skeletal hand picked it up for you. You took it and walked away, noticing that the crowd was gone. "Well. Aren't you coming?" You turned back to Sans, cocking your head to the direction of where Papyrus went. You started walking before stumbling over a rock. Before you could hit the snow, arms were wrapped around your waist. You quickly pushed them away and continued on your way. "Thanks." You mumble out, Sans walking beside you.

You shivered in your wet clothes, the wind lowering the temperature drastically through the open window with bars. You looked up at the moon, your mind empty from thought. You couldn't huddle yourself in a ball for warmth, your leg straining in pain if you bent it at the knee. You curled against the corner of the cell you were in. A plate of food next to you and untouched. You weren't hungry anyway. You hugged your bag to your chest, resting your head on it and falling asleep the tenth time. You were used to this anyway. Your mind was half awake when you heard the door opening.

"THAT PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A HUMAN IS ASLEEP AGAIN!"

"She's injured Boss."

"SO WHAT!? IM FIGHTING THAT STUPID THING THE MINUTE SHE WAKES UP!" Papyrus grumbles and walks away. You thought you were alone when you heard shuffling. You opened your eyes and stared dead straight at Sans who stared at the closed door. He turned around and jumped in fright as he saw you look at him with unblinking eyes.

"Why the fuck are you staring at me like that for!?" You shrug as you close your eyes and start to sleep again. "You lazy ass. And that's saying something considering me." You felt arms reach under you and you felt the floor disappear. You squealed softly, clutching on to Sans with your bag on your lap.

"Put me down!" You try to get out of Sans hands but that makes the two of you almost fall over.

"Stop squirming!" You look at him dead in the eye sockets.

"Put me. The fuck. Down." Sans stares at you with a non-existing brow raised. Next thing you know, you were whining out in pain as you landed on the floor. You rubbed your arse as you slowly stood up, Sans looking down at you. He clicked his fingers and you were surrounded by red light, floating in the air. Sans walks out the door and your being following him close behind. You sigh out from the warmth as you entered the skelebros house. Sans dropped you down on a couch and left to go upstairs.

(Y/n)?" You recognised that high pitched voice. Turning around, you saw Flowey in a pot in the arms of another human.

"Flowey!" You hug the poor flower, almost suffocating him.

"(Y/n). Can't. Breath." You smile softly at Flowey.

"I missed you."

"I-it was only a f-few days. But I-I missed y-you too." You look back up at the person holding Flowey and your face goes neutral, cold and passive.

"And you are?" The human ignores your monotone question and smiles brightly at you.

"I'm Frisk! It's a pleasure to meet you." You nod at them, your brows furrowed. You couldn't tell if this person was a boy or a girl.

"Are you a boy or a girl and-"

"-WHAT IS THE PATHETIC WIMP DOING HERE OUT FROM THEIR CELL!?" Papyrus stomps into the living room and glares at you. You raise a brow at him, arms crossed.

"Well Boss, if ya so desperately want to fight her, she needs to be completely healthy."

"THAN FIX THAT THING ALREADY!" Papyrus stomps out of the room to god knows where.

"Why'd you bring me here?" you face Sans.

"I couldn't let ya freeze to death in that shed. I ain't no cold-hearted bastard." Sans scoffs at you.

"And these two?" You nod to Flowey and Frisk.

"Flowey brought this midget to our door in exchange for ya. Pretty sleazy if ya ask me." You looked at Flowey and shake your head.

"Bad Flowey. No." You flicked his head softly as he hissed at you. "Sorry about Flowey and bringing you here." You faced Frisk but they shook their head.

"It's ok! I gained new friends. Plus, I've been trying to teach Papyrus to be more nicer. Sans is more calm than he was before too." You snort when you think back to Papyrus.

"There's no help for Papyrus."
