You were a singer at a local bar, and everyone practically loved you but the bad news was that you were a bit sick today, sore throat. You were up on stage singing a song while the guys and girls were listening, you finished the song as everyone began to clap. You got off stage and went into the bathroom to change your clothes, you changed into a comfortable set of clothes and went out with your bag. Your boss, Ryder had asked you to come in

"What do you need, sir?" You asked peaking into his room "ah, Y/N there you are, come in" he said mentioning to a chair on the opposite side of his desk, you sat down and he began "So I noticed you were getting a bit winded during your performance, are you alright?" He asked, you responded with "...no, I have a bit of a sore throat", He sighed "why didn't you call me?" He asked, "well I was afraid it would lower my pay" you hesitantly said back, he got up and grabbed something from his desk, he pulled out some cash and handed it to you "here, since you did so well I might as well give you a raise" he said with a smile, you took the money "and please, take care of yourself okay? Take a break" with that he dismissed you. "I called you a cab to take you home" he said as you left
