He's not a cold character, just rather grumpy at times. He's not a huge fan of group jobs, it's not their trust but the lack of it for himself that keeps him insecure. Doesn't mean he discourages a conversation with someone new, if you happen to catch him in the decent mood. His attitude is often caused by headaches from the shock collar.

is ability was given to him during a personal quest for strength, the catch was that it stole a little of his humanity with every use but he struggles already to keep himself in check. Normally he possesses the basics, heightened strength and speed but it all grows further in his beastly outbreaks. Almost werewolf-like.
He also wears a shock collar to calm himself when he starts to lose it, which is why he's probably so grumpy all the time.
He can also harden his skin for stronger attacks, it's physically draining. It's used mainly for defense and a few punches here and there.

He tries his best to have the charm and sweet personality that one would expect in an idol. But, how he presents himself isn't how he always feels. He's a genuine soul who just feels obligated to please others in fear of rejection, no matter how the task makes him feel.
Backstory:
What happened to his parents is unknown, though he was kidnapped and sold as a glorified pet on the black market. He was well cared for and taught a variety of different skills, such as singing to playing instruments but only for the use of entertainment. He was never allowed outside or able to interact with the other guest's children. As he grew older it began to take it's toll, it was engraved in his mind that the only way for someone to love him was through his talents.
Alyn managed to break free from the women and years later only to be followed by his idol phase. He would perform, the crowds would love him but eventually want more and more. After the second year he broke down, he pushed himself too far and disappeared without a trace. Now, he's starting anew in a guild he hopes will reinvent him to be someone greater.
Other:
His ability is his voice, it directly manipulates other's emotions and thoughts depending on the song he sings. People who are able to detect the magical ability can avoid it's effect. He himself doesn't know about the power though.

Overall backstory:
They were all created through magical means, mixed with all sorts of creatures their creators couldn't control. A group of men sought out a way to do so by mixing humans with said beasts, the results were a devastating, many of the first generation couldn't function and had extra limbs. The second looked mostly monstrous. The third gens, them, came out close to satisfactory and were kept for roughly 15 years but displayed too much free will and were to be eliminated as the other gens were. But, they escaped using the powers that were given to them and left to actually start living. They gave themselves names, ages, and decided to all join a guild to further set their identities.

He tries to be the mature leader of the group but falters, his decisions are often hasty and is easily flustered. But he cares for his group, sometimes a little too much which causes him to be over protective and uncomfortable with change.
Backstory:
Technically the second to be created, he formed before his brother Aaron. They share similar abilities to one another, in fact they were supposed to be only one being.

He has a pet albino snake named Kiya, she just stays loosely coiled around his neck most of the time.
His ability is hypnotism, but it's only through the one eye he covers. It's a slightly impractical power, he can't stop it unless his eye is shut or covered. Besides that, snakes and other reptiles seem to be particularly fond of him.

The fourth and final being to be placed into their group, he was created last but holds the most potential for magical ability.
Other:
His abilities are complex to say the least. He's able teleport, as long as he can perfectly picture the destination but also do something similar to mind breaking. It's only temporary and it just puts their mind to sleep rather than shattering their consciousness, leaving them motionless and unaware for a few minutes at most. It's a defense tactic that doesn't require eye contact but won't work on people who are sensitive to magical abilities or have similar mind manipulating powers, but will most likely cancel their's as well.

She's not too mean but not too nice either, honest is what she'd call it. She jumps to conclusions very easily, but isn't afraid to admit she's wrong. Though she's no pushover and isn't afraid to show it to those who think otherwise.
Backstory:
Nothing too special here, she's a family trained sorceress that wanted to improve on her abilities and bring some fame to her family name.
Other:
Her ability is normal pyromancy, with the addition of temperature control. Essentially she could engulf someone in her flames and have them feel nothing at all, and they'll exit unscathed. She also hates the cold, it messes with her ability or prevents her from using them at all.

She's well rounded, but incredibly stubborn and will stick to her choice because it's what she believes is right. She holds trust above all else so if you betray it then you'll have to go through hell and back to earn it again. Along with that, promises are a big deal to her as well, if you can't hold up to what you say then don't promise.
Backstory:
She's the eldest daughter of a fatherless home, so she took it upon herself to fill in his shoes. Her mother was a seamstress, and the only working person in a household of five. Naturally there were financial struggles but once Torunn was able she started working, picking things up along the way. Her uncle was a blacksmith, he took her under his wing and made her his apprentice. Her skills were improving nicely until that job wasn't enough either, her mother fell ill so she joined a guild to provide a more steady source of income.
Other:
She was raised in a pure human town, they're one in a billion in this diverse world but not impossible. As a result her experience with other species was slim to none until she joined the guild. With that in mind, her reactions to different species will vary but not negatively. Luckily introductions aren't much of a weakpoint, so she doesn't have much trouble approaching others.
She has no specific powers but she's a decent fighter and her blacksmith skills are something to admire.

   He's just a sweetheart, but also a giant scaredy cat. He dislikes the land and will do what he can to avoid it, he would hate to encounter the evil land walkers, who knows what they'd do to him next time. He also has quite the active imagination.
Backstory:
   As a child he got caught in some upland filth that was tossed out to sea, there wasn't much that could be done. He was sure he was going to die when someone from the SSSB rescued him during a clean up. Not long after he joined and assisted in further similar assignments.

He can form legs on land but patches of shiny scales remain on his body. His ability is being able to form a web like substance that comes shooting out of his hands, it ties up his opponent and leaves them immobile.

   • He's a proud fighter and father, but his emotions weigh heavy on him especially guilt. There are times he can't cope and finds various ways to help forget, none of which put his son in danger directly. It's a problem nonetheless. Though, that's not often and the rest of the time he finds a way to keep his head held high, accepting challenge, and being rather kind.

Backstory:

   Raidon had fallen in love with a beautiful young women in the next town over. It was new and exciting, enough that he didn't realize the woman was engaged and was searching by any means possible to avoid the wedding. They spent many nights together and as a result she ended up pregnant. He was excited, completely beaming that he was going to be a father. So she gave him what he asked for, along with a note that explained the situation and that she never wanted to see the baby again, he would only burden her further. With that, he left and found work at a guild as far from her as he could possibly get.
Other:
   •He can create small storms that provide lightning, which he can then send off at will to whoever or whatever he pleases. Someone with a similar ability can cancel out his, and using this ability inside puts himself in danger as well.
   •Fallon, once he grows older, will have a similar ability but tied to his emotions and on a much grander scale with a larger variey of weather changes. He does not and will not have wings like his dad.

Backstory:
   They've known each other since they were little, the beach was their favorite place to play. Lucien's parents were members of the UCDH, while Kalani's were members of the SSSB but that didn't complicate the friendship in the slightest. It only began to become a problem when they grew older, they started walking down different paths. Kalani naturally stood with the guild to make his parents proud, while Lucien refused to do the same knowing he would rarely get to see him.  Instead, Lucien took a job at one the shops in town for awhile but inevitably joining a guild once again. Their friendship would slowly turn into a soft romance, each hinting towards it but never quite expressing their true feelings just yet.
Other:
   • Lucien has no specific magical ability, but he can create powerful gusts of wind with his wings. He has pretty sharp combat skills and he's pretty good at first aid, even wants to be a medic at the infirmary.
   • Kalani in his serpent form has a literal glow to him, which comes in handy in darker situations. He also has the ability to grow legs on land, but he can't be away from water too long or he'll start to grow weaker.

   He's very confident for someone who would hardly lift a finger, unless it was when he "interacted" with the maids. His stubbornness is on par with his ignorance, this would be the first time ever that he's slept outside the castle walls. Though he's not entirely a lost cause, he does show strong ambition for things he wants to learn but can he really drop the spoiled to the core attitude?
Backstory:
   A prince from the kingdom of Ofea (where Mercy is from), a place that sits along a stretch of mountains that goes beyond the map. They sent him as well as his siblings away out of fear of invasion and obliteration of their bloodline. His siblings were sent elsewhere, while he was sent to a guild. Now, he actually has to work and learn how to do things on his own.

   Even though he's super pale, you'll often find him outside sleeping under a tree. If not outside, then he's locked away in his room. He may not look it but he's not that bad with people. His attitude is often calm and kind, never really one to get worked up even when provoked.

   He's not an orphan, but his mother did the best she could to get rid of him. It wasn't him exactly, he just resembled too much like his father.
Other:
He drinks blood which often leads people to believe he's a vampire, but his abilities would quickly say otherwise. From his mother, he could change water to any liquid substance he desires... makes it easy to find food. From his father he acquired an almost demon form ability, which he doesn't like to use. And will not use unless it's life or death. It's a form that flares up a nearly uncontrollable blood lust but lends a surplus of strength, enough to break through bone with his bare teeth. Once he transforms it's like an alter ego has entered, and his hands engulf in flames at will.
