He was 14 when his youngest brother was sold so he remembers him well, and he's always wished there was something he could have done to stop what happened.
He's in charge of the family now that their father is gone (has been for about two years now) and started his search for Aden as soon as he was appointed.
At 21, his father arranged a marriage for him. His wife, Marina, gave birth to a son when Robert was 22. They named him Adren (after Aden), one year later named his brother Lucien (after Marina's father), and now Marina has just about a month left till their third child is born (which will be a girl).

He was 11 when Aden was sold, but he was a tough child so his memories from then are just a little foggy, though he does remember him, just not specific memories. He continued on with that kind of toughness and you can now hand him any weapon and he'll know how to use it well.
His father tried to arrange a marriage for him when he was 23, but he refused and was kicked from the home for a year before his father passed away and Robert welcomed him back.

Philip has never been as eager as his brothers to find Aden. It's not that he doesn't like him or anything, he's just always believed that searching for him would waste their resources and time, especially if they never found him. He was 8 when Aden was sold, so he doesn't remember him as well as his older brothers do, but he does remember him.
