Monster AU! ((In this AU, vampires can be in the sunlight, but they're weakened after periods of time))

It was fairly simple. You and him were enemies. You were apart of the Shinsou Academy High School baseball team, which happened to be co-ed, and he was apart of the Seidou High School team. Even better, your school was filled with just vampires and his was all werewolves. Despite all of this, you two got along well. Very well.

"Kazuya!" You call out as you arrive at the park at the exact middle between the two schools. Fixing your slightly messy hair, you shout again, "Kazuya, where are you?!"

"Hey there, (Y/N)," a smooth voice calls from behind you. You yelp in suprise as you turn around and walk into his awaiting arms.

"Why can't you be louder? I know that werewolves like to be stealthy, but you almost gave me a heart attack!"

"I'm sorry, (N/N), I missed you so much that I didn't think about it..."

"I've missed you, too, Kazu-chan..." You say as you inhale deeply. Noticing a difference from his usual scent, your eyes widen just a small amount in realization. "You're wearing the cologne I bought for you?"

"Of course I am, (Y/N). Why wouldn't I wear it?" He asks, releasing you from his hold. You take in his outfit: baggy, gray jeans, a maroon t-shirt, a baseball jersey residing on top of it, and his normal cap on his head, his ears sticking out from slits in the cap.

"I thought that the scent was going to be too strong for you," you smile, and he takes your hand in his.

"Anything from you is just right." Melting at his words, he laughs and the two of you begin to walk around the area.

"So what's on the agenda today, Kazuya?" You ask the brunette make beside you.

"How about we get something to eat, go to either that famous batting range or the cages that are in the area, then walk around the shop area near them?" He suggests easily.

"Sure!"

The two if you began your trek toward the area looking for something new to try, you hear a familiar voice from behind you."Hey, Miyuki-Senpai! Whatcha doing here? Who's that with ya? Let's go to the cages nearby, I want you to catch some of my pitches!"

The both of you sigh in unison and turn around.

"Why can't I have one day without that constantly barking pup getting to me...?" Miyuki whispered to himself as he looked directly at the brunette boy. You sigh as you take notice of the two other wolves with Sawamura Eijun the southpaw: Furuya Satoru the pitcher and Kominato Haruichi the short stop.

"Hey guys," Miyuki calls to the three. "What are you guys doing here?"

"Sawamura and I originally went out together to buy new shoes since ours got worn down, and on the way off of campus, we saw Furuya so we invited him as well," Kominato said quietly, his lips barely moving to form the words.

"Ehh!? Why did you guys come all the way here, then?!"

"Kazuya, it's alright. They're allowed to do what they want, aren't they?" You ask as you grab onto Miyuki's bicep. "Let's just appease Sawamura's demands so that he'll be quiet," you whisper afterwards.

"Tch, fine. Come on, you three. I'll catch a few of your pitches, Sawamura, and yours also, Furuya if ya want, but then I'm leaving. No more asking for catches when we're not at school, okay?" Miyuki says, his demands clear as day.

"Yes, sir!" Sawamura shouts.

*~* Time Skip: After the Cages *~*

"I'm sorry, (Y/N), Sawamura just didn't want to stop... I was lucky that Furuya didn't mind not tossing until school," Miyuki states as he walks back to you. You were waiting in the front office area playing with the old, retro video games while waiting for your boyfriend to somehow escape the the pitchers.

"It's alright, Kazu-chan. You couldn't help but to help the underclassmen..." You say, the disappointment obvious in your voice.

"Babe, I'm sorry, you know how it is. I know exactly how to make it up to you, though, and I'm sure that you'll love it," Miyuki whispers in your ear as he hugs your waist from behind. "Let's go now so that the three can't follow, let's go do something."

"Mhm, okay."

The two of you quickly, but quietly walk out of the cages attempting to avoid being spotted by the three freshmen on the team. Sprinting as you go outside, you laugh at Miyuki's tail was wagging in happiness. "Excited, aren't we, Kazu-chan?" You ask as he gives you a confused look.

His eyes widen as he follows your gaze and looks behind himself. Yelping, he grabs his tail and shoves it into his shirt. "Hey, I thought we agreed to not make notice of the wags!" He shouts, a slight blush tinting his face.

"Aww don't worry, Kazu-chan!" You say and you give him a peck on the cheek. "It's cute when it wags~"

His face turns a darker shade of red and his tail wags faster under his shirt. "Uh- I- Um- Ya know- Uh-" he stutters in embarrassment.

You laugh out loud once more at the reaction of your boyfriend. "I thought you were supposed to be the man of the relationship!"

"Oh be quieeeettttt, pleassseeeee," Miyuki begs as he tugs on your hand again. "Actually, let's go to the park, I know a place we can hide for a while that's just past it!"

The two of you, hand in hand, walk back to the park that you had met at. It had a special place in your hearts, considering it way where the two of you first met other than on the field.

"Kazu-chan, where's​ that hiding place you mentioned? And why do we need to hide?" You ask as he continues to pull you along.

"Well, firstly, we're almost there. Secondly, you've been in the sun for almost 5 hours now, don't you need some shade to replenish strength?"

"Aww you remembered!" You coo at the werewolf.

"Mhm, plus I want somewhere we can be alone, (Y/N.)" He says, his voice getting rough. "We haven't been alone in a while, I want you all to myself for a bit."

You smirk at the meaning behind his words. "Then let's go, my devious wolf. Let's have some fun~"

"Of course, I'll show you a good time for as long as possible."

I had writer's block for a while and I'm dealing with a lot of highschool bs right now and I'm struggling.

I did manage to get it out finally, and despite it being a week late it's Halloween themed! (Originally, it wasn't supposed to be for Halloween, but I guess it just ended up being that way lmao)
