I was a first year, they were third years. This moment was bound to happen at some point. The moment of graduation, the moment where the two that gave me life left me.

Naruto Uzamaki and Sasuke Uchiha. The two boys that managed to steal my heart in the single year we had together.

"Hello, my name is (F/N) (L/N). I'll be in your care."

I was a late transfer, but I was accepted into Konoha High anyways. I was a child prodigy, so I was in classes dedicated to third years. As a first year, I was seen as cocky and egotistical. These two boys didn't seem to think the same way.

Tell me when the time we had slipped away
Tomorrow turned to yesterday and I don't know how

"Hey, (Y/N)-chan! I'm Naruto Uzamaki," the blonde haired boy called to me. "This is my best friend!"

"Sasuke Uchiha," The Uchiha spoke introducing himself and we sat there for the entire lunch period, talking and enjoying ourselves.

I smiled and clapped for the graduating class of (C/Y). All third years stood side by side for their graduation photo. Despite this day being as glorious as it is, I couldn't help but start crying.

I stood with my arm open afterwords, waiting for the boys to walk to me. As they came down, I held them tightly, as if they were my lifeline, until we were forced to part.
