Your character has a height. They stand tall or are short. But how tall? How short?
General speaking we think in this mindset for a female.

1. Normal 5'3"-5'6" or 161 cm - 168 cm
2. Tall is above 5'6" or 168 cm
3. Short is below 5'3" or 161cm

For a male they are more along the lines of:

1. Normal 5'5"-5'8" or 165-174 cm
2. Tall is above 5'8" or 174cm
3. Short is below 5'5" or 165cm
