Today was a new day, today the sky was blue. There were birds you wouldn't actually choose to hear. The wind silently blows hot air through a new summer day. Another day where the skies will not be grey. How long has it been? Maybe a year, a couple months maybe? It always feels like yesterday, it always haunts my dreams as if it was all I could know.

Red sun and grey skies I remember clearly, I now cower when it rains.

"Who is out there?!"

"It's too dark! I cant see anything! Fucking rain!!"

"Be careful, ill check the house"

Water is a distant reminder, how you became the earth and I became my own salvation. I still come to where you ended, and even though I despise the rain, i can't help but rain tears.

I regret that I couldnt reach out far enough.

"Find anything love?!"

"Cant see! Foot is stuck!"

"Im coming!"

"No dont! I hear them! Its too dark but I know they are coming!"

"KEEP MOVING!! I'm coming!"

"AH! They injected something in me!!!"

You were my salvation, my life. I knew that if you left, I would follow you. Yet I'm still here, crying under your shade.
