I Need You

[Nobody's PoV:]

"Stupid brat!! Just pack your things quickly! We don't need you anymore!" Your mother shouted as you are packing your things.

It really hurts you in the inside but you just hid it and stayed emotionless.

"Hai!" That's the only thing you can say but still, it just really hurts! It's because your father signed a contract that will pay them if they keep you for 7 years. And now, the contract is done, you are now useless in the family.

When you're done packing, your mother quickly pulled you by hair and dragged you outside the house.

"M...mo...mom! It hurts!" You squealed in pain.

"Shut up!!" Your mother said as she continued what she is doing to you. When you're finally outside, she loosened the grip on your hair. "Never Come Back!!" She shouted again and closed the door angrily.

You picked your backpack and worn it. You are about to leave but your tears started to fall again.

"Oka-san, what did I do to you?" You mumbled and turned your hands into fists and let your tears out.

You continued to walk. You're finding a place where you could live but you don't know where's the house of your mother's friends because you're just so little.

You're so tired of walking, you are hungry too because it's almost 5 hours of searching. Until, you saw an orphanage. You can see children about your age in the window playing and having fun.

You walked to the door and knocked. A red-haired boy opened it for you.

"Hai?" He asked.

"E..etto...I-" You are cut by a beautiful teenage girl.

"Hiroto, who's outside?" She asked the red haired boy.

"It's a girl, Hitomiko-nee." He said but as you observe him, he's just emotionless, just like you.

"Hey, what's your name?" The teenage girl asked while eye-leveling you.

"(F-F/n) (L-L/n)." You stuttered.

"What a nice name! My name is Kira Hitomiko. You're more than welcome to live here." She said as she smiled to you. Your eyes widen because you never felt this kind of warmth before.

You hugged her and you released.

"A-arigatou! Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!(Thank you! Please take care of me)." You said and wiped your tears and suddenly a big smile appeared on your face.

"I will! Come inside! There's plenty of food here!" She said as you followed her. "Okay! So we're having a new kid here! Her name is (f/n) (l/n)! Be nice to her, okay?" Hitomiko shouted to the group of kids.

"Hai!!!" The kids replied. "(F/n), (F/n)! Come play with us!" A girl with a blue hair asked you enthusiastically.

"Calm down, Reina. (F/n) needs to eat first." Hitomiko stopped her.

"Aww.." She said in disappointment making you chuckle.

"Don't worry, I'll play with you tomorrow!" You said.

"Okay! Eat plenty of foods, okay? Otou-san will be coming. Darou? Hitomiko-nee?" Ulvida said.

"O..Otou-san?" You asked in curiosity.

"Y-yeah. He's Hitomiko-nee's father. But he treat us like his own kids too so we call him 'otou-san'." The red-haired boy said.

"Hiroto's right, (f/n)." Hitomiko agreed. "C'mon, let's eat!" She added.

"Hai!" You replied.

Time Skip~ The Next Day

[Reader's PoV:]

I was playing with Reina at our playground until I saw the red-haired boy again being lonely at a swing. I excused myself to Reina so that I could talk to him, fortunately, she agreed! I walked towards him and sat at the next swing beside him.

"Good Morning.." I said to him and gave him a sweet smile.

"G-Good Morning.." He said.

"Hiroto right? My name is (f/n) (l/n)! Hajimemashite!!" I said as I gave him a grin.

"A-Aa..Hajimemashite!" He replied.

"Do you wanna play?" I offered him and he nods.

I quickly dragged him to the park and we played there for like a couple of hours. It was now dark and we're sure that Hitomiko-nee is looking for us, but we didn't mind that, we lay down on the grassy ground and watched the twinkling stars..

"Ne, (F/n)." He started up.

"Hm?" I hummed in response while gazing my eyes at the beautiful stars.

"Thank you." He said making me stare at him confused.

"I mean thank you for giving attention at me. I'm usually a loner but when you came, I feel different now." He said, making me blush a bit.

"Well, I should be the one saying that, Hiroto-kun. If you didn't open the door, I would still be lurking around the streets finding some house to live in. I'm really thankful for what you've done."I said starting to cry.

"Eh?! Don't cry, (F/n)-chan! I'm sure destiny is the one that brought us together.." He said and I just shrugged. We talked to each other until Hiroto noticed the time.

"(F/n), I think we should head back. Hitomiko-nee is looking for us." He said and I nodded, we quickly head back to the orphanage and fortunately, Hitomiko-nee didn't noticed us.

Time Skip~ After 7 years~

Nobody's PoV:

You and the team are practicing for the next match. Yes, you are one of the members of Inazuma Japan. And your feelings for Hiroto got even more intense. You are dribbling the ball and used your strongest hissatsu against Endou, and that sent him flying.

Everyone came closer to you and complimented you. Hiroto did the same too but different from the others.

"I see you've used that hissatsu again, (f/n)." Hiroto said as he wrapped his arm around your shoulders. As a result, you blushed madly and managed to hid it anyways.

"Y-yeah. You're the one who thought me that, after all." You said as you gave him a grin. You swear you saw him blush but you just shrugged it off.

The next day, you are done eating your breakfast. The team is about to go to practice until Kudou kantoku stopped you.

"You're all going to take your day off." Kantoku said making you all shocked.

"Ehhhhhh?!?!" You all gave out a long deep 'eh'. Kantoku just walked pass you all making you sweatdropped. You don't know what to do since it's your "day off".

"Oh, I know! We should hang-out. But this time by pairs or by thirds." Endou suggested making you all agree. Everyone started to find a partner and you did so too. Unfortunately, you can't find one because they're all taken. You didn't noticed that Hiroto still don't have a partner.

"Ne, (f/n). Wanna be my partner?" He said making you blush. He chuckled at your sudden reaction.

"Umm...y-yeah. S-sure!" You stuttered making him smile.

"So it's settled then." He said as he grabbed your hand and walked outside the camp. You looked at your hands and blushed madly. Silence filled the air until you decided to cut it.

"S-so...where are we going, Hiroto?" You asked him.

"I don't know... *searches around the area and finds a park* How about we go to the park?" He said and you nodded. You sat down on the grassy ground and watched the sunsets.

"Hey, do you still remember how we met?" Hiroto asked.

"Yup! I still remember it clearly! It was a time just like this." You said as you are hugging your knees.

"Yeah. I wish time will go back." He said making you confused.

"What do you mean?" You asked.

"I mean, I wish I could go back to the time that I can play with you all day long and your attention is on mine." He stated making you blush and flash him a smile.

"Yeah, me too." You said as you returned your eyes to the setting sun. Meanwhile, you felt your hand being touched by a another hand. You looked at it but as you looked, Hiroto is so close to you making you blush and back away a little.

"H-Hiroto?"

"(F/n), I have to tell something to you. Something that I should have said a long time ago." He said then looks away.

"What is it?" You said while acting clueless.

"(F/n), starting from the first day I have met you, I felt that I really need you by my side. Especially during the time that my mind was corrupted by that Aliea meteorite. Without you there, I never would have realized that I was wrong. (F/n), I need and love you." He said, his eyes is filled with love and sincere, so you can tell that he really mean it.

"W-well, Hiroto. I've always felt the same. Starting when we were still kids. I've been wanting to tell you this but I can't muster my courage. Hiroto, I've always love you. And I need you too." You said as you hold his other hand and tears started to fall. You felt a cold finger wiping your tears and you just smiled his action.

After that, he kissed your forehead and hugged you tightly. He let your head rest on his chest while you hugged him back.

"I love you, (f/n)."

"I love you too, Hiroto."

Extended Ending~ After 10 years~

You are grown-ups now, and you and Hiroto are still together, you are actually living together and has the same profession—A lawyer. I guess this is the time that you both settle things clearly.

You are doing your work, so as Hiroto and Midorikawa. The usual paperwork.

"(F/n), let's eat at a fancy restaurant later before we go home." Hiroto said making Midorikawa giggle.

"Sure!" You said while doing your work.

After your work, you said goodbye to Midorikawa and Hiroto quickly dragged you to the restaurant.

"Woah, Hiro! Why so fast?" You asked making him giggle.

"You'll see." That's what he just said.

You both arrived at the fancy restaurant. It was so beautiful and a few people only eat there so it's quiet. You stayed quiet because you don't want to ruin the silence that is filled in the air. A waitress come by your table and took your orders.

"(F/n), I need to settle things clearly." He said making you really confused.

"Hah..? What do you mean?" You asked in curiosity. He just chuckled.

He stood up and knelt his knees beside you. You're eyes widen because you already know what is going to happen next. He took a small box from his pocket and held your hand.

"(F/n), Will You Marry Me?" He said as he opened the box and there's a beautiful ring inside it. Tears started to fall, still can't believe that this is happening.

"Yes!" You said with no hesitation. You watched him as he is slipping the ring right to your ring finger. You both stood up and embraced each other tightly. Hiroto is so happy about the result.

"I love you, (f/n)." He said.

"I love you too, Hiroto!" You said between tears. You could hear people clapping and whistling at you both. This restaurant isn't that fancy, huh?
