"I w-wish you were my mum." Lloyd sobbed into (Y/N) arms. "Y-y-you actually c-care about m-m-me."

Last night inside the Destiny's bounty was a complete disaster between Jay's parents playing mediators between (Y/N) and the Ninja; which ended with a very hostile (Y/N) kicking the Ninja out of their room and punching out Kai for making Lloyd cry all over again.

 (Third Person P.O.V)

Zane woke up hitting his head on the coffee table in the tv room. The Ninja had spent the night sleep on the floor thanks to (Y/N), Lloyd and Jay's parents.

"Oh, sleeping in? You're gonna be late for training." Jay remarked. "How come no one awakened me?" Zane asked in his formally way.

"We didn't think you wanted us to. You looked like you were having some dream." Kai smirked.

"How do I know this isn't a dream?" Zane asked. Cole walked over to him and hit him in the head with a pillow.

"Did that feel like a dream?" Cole teased.

"No, thank you for your help." Zane answered while rubbing his head. The others laughed a little at his comment.

The ninjas got dressed and got out on the deck, opened the door to the main area of the ship and waited for Sensei Wu.

"Hehe! A little slow today... Huh?" Kai teased. " What exactly did you dream about?"

"I saw the falcon again." Zane said calmly and shrugged his shoulders.

Jay butts in, suddenly. "Woah, Zane. Every time you see that bird something big happens! First, it lead you to that secret tree house-"

"Then led you to the bounty." Cole stated.

"Alright! Stretches, first the swooping crane." Sensei Wu said and changes position. The ninjas also standing in position.

"This time it showed me the green ninja." Zane said calmly again.

"THE GREEN NINJA?!" Cole, Jay, and Kai shrieked.

Sensei Wu turned around to their outburst. Cole was holding his hands on each side of his head. Jay was covering his mouth, and Kai was covering his eyes. While Zane was the only one making the position Sensei Wu instructed.

"That looks like the shocked monkey." Sensei Wu says with an annoyed look. "Bad form, more focus." Then turned around again. The ninjas continued copying their sensei.

"You can't just drop a bomb like that, spill the beans!" Jay whisper-screamed.

"Yeah, what else did you see?" Kai pleaded.

"He was fighting Lord Garmadon," Zane answered.

"That's what the prophecy said. That the green ninja and grey would defeat the dark lord. But did you have a chance to see which of us that was the green ninja?" Kai says.

"Yeah! Did you see?" Jay asked excitedly.

"I could not tell. He shared attributes each one of us possesses, to..." Zane answered.

"Now Penguin crab!" Wu says and changes position.

"Well, tell us everything! And don't spare any details! There has to be a clue that tells us which one of us it is, and who's gonna be the green ninjaaa! Ow, ow ow!" Kai cried out as Sensei Wu pulled him by the hair.

"What was so important to ignore my teaching?" He questioned. "Ehh.. Nothing!" Kai said quickly.

"It was nothing, Sensei!" Jay also says quickly.

"Yeah! We don't talk while you teach!" Cole said.

"Everyone was paying attention!" Zane lied.

"Since you all appear to be lacking in focus. Then you can all share in the punishment." Sensei Wu ordered simply.

"What!?" 

"Punishment!?"

"But it was all Zane!"

"I was merely answering their questions."

"No free time and no video games. The rest of the day can be used for training, and tomorrow for that matters." Sensei Wu ordered.

"Training? For how long?" Kai sighed in frustration. 

"Until you can answer this simple riddle. "What is the best way to defeat an enemy?"

"Easy! With a sword." Kai guessed.

"With your fists!" Jay says.

"With spinjitzu!" Cole says and spins around.

"The tornado of creation?" Zane asked.

"Behave yourselves. You have a lot of training. Make sure you sharpen your mind as well as your spinjitzu." Sensei Wu sighed and walked inside.

"What's the best way to defeat an enemy..." Cole says while thinking. "It could be anything!" He says and spins a stick around with his hand.

"Come on guys! We're smart! We can figure this out!" Jay says and jumps on a training machine.

Kai hit a boxing sack then walks over to Zane. "Yeah, but let's hear more about this dream." Kai pleaded.

"Let me just say... The green ninja is awesome!" Zane says with a small smile.

Inside the Destiny's bounty, Ed and Edna Walker were pleading with (Y/N) to get her hand treated.

"I'm fine." (Y/N) hissed keeping her left hand hidden under her cloak. "(Y/N), sweetie please let us see." Ed pleaded hoping to get her to change her mind.

"(Y/N), Dear your hand will get infected we promise that only Ed and I will look." Edna tried desperately to get agree.

(Y/N) still refused. "EDNA."  Ed desperately whined to his beloved wife. Edna took a deep breath in she didn't want to do this but she was going to have to.

Edna let out the breath she'd been holding in and said. "(Y/N) you care about Lloyd right?" This immediately got (Y/N) attention. "Well if you don't get your hand treated then you'll get sick and then who will look after him."

(Y/N) paused for a moment then stuck out her hand for them to treat it.

"(Y/N), look." Lloyd said holding up his own bandaged left hand. "Matching war wounds."

(Y/N) smiled and patted his head. His soft blond hair dancing in-between her fingers. Lloyd's shone brightly at her. Lloyd's stomach growled lightly and Lloyd blushed.

"Hehe. Um, (Y/N) you wouldn't happen to have any candy left on you?" Lloyd asked with big puppy dog eyes.

(Y/N) pulled back her grey clock and opened her satchel bag.

Lloyd stared at the rather creepy looking satchel bag tied to (Y/N)'s belt as she opened the zipper like a mouth and stuck her hand inside only to pull out some cotton candy.

"Wow, how did you do that!?" Lloyd shouted happily taking the cotton candy and proceeded to eat it.

"I have to agree with Lloyd. How did that even fit in there?" Ed questioned immediately shoving his face closer to the satchel bag.

"I'm not sure, it just holds a lot of stuff." (Y/N) answered shrugging not seeing what was so great about it.

"Oh, rather creepy design," Edna said poking at the satchel bag. "I think it looks fine just the way it is." (Y/N) defended pulling her cloke back around her hiding the satchel bag from view.

Just then the Ninja's stormed in shouting at each other.

"He was holding nunchucks. It's me!"

"The falcon was on his arm and it was MY dream, so naturally, it's me."

"Let's at least cross Cole off the list."

"I could've lifted-woah, cross me off the list?"

"WILL YOU BOYS SHUT UP!" (Y/N) screamed out of annoyance. The four ninja look at her.

"Hey! where did he get cotton candy?" Jay whined pointing at Lloyd who was messily eating the sugary treat.

"It's mine, you can't have it." Lloyd shouted at the Ninja and began to eat it as fast as he could.

"(Y/N) gave it to him, it was in her satchel bag." Ed told his son. Jay's eyes instantly locked onto (Y/N).

"Can I..." Jay started to plead. "No!" (Y/N) said firmly cutting him off. "No fair why?" Jay started to sook.

"You and your friends beat up Lloyd you will get no assistance from me." (Y/N) declared glaring at the Ninja.

"Hey, that was all Kai's idea." Jay pointed out.

"Shut up Jay..." Kai growled at him. "And what has that got to do with anything you were helping those snake's!" Kai yelled at (Y/N) deflecting the negative attention to (Y/N).

"The snake's had done no wrong to me. You had!" (Y/N) said answering Kai's accusations.

(Y/N) slid off the counter ready to fight the Ninja. Ed and Edna looked on nervously. Lloyd was still chocking down his cotton candy.

"When have we wronged you?" Zane asked (Y/N). "I was referring to Kai." (Y/N) answered Zane.

The Ninja's and Walkers all stared at Kai as (Y/N) continued.

"The first time I encountered him was when he and those skeletons attacked me; the second time I encountered him he was abusing a defenceless child with the three of you pyjama boys helping him--"

"Jay!" Edna gasped at her son cutting off (Y/N). "It was all Kai, mum I didn't touch the kid." Jay quickly shouted putting his hands up.

"Son, I think your mother and I need to have a word with you." Ed said shaking his head in disappointment.

"Thanks, a lot Kai." Jay hissed at the red Ninja as he went to face his parent's disappointment.

"Wait! Mum, Dad how do you know (Y/N)?" Jay asked the idea suddenly dawning on him.

"Oh, we meet her in the Junkyard she was coved in blood, dirt and scratches and digging a big hole." Edna said waving her hand dismissively still wanting a chat with her son.

"Wait! What?" All the Ninja's shouted looking at (Y/N).

"After I defeated Kai the first time." (Y/N) said giving Kai a smug look. "I encountered Lloyd's father whom I had mistaken for a hallucination who informed me where I could find a weapon which was buried at Ed and Edna's Junkyard." (Y/N) recounted.

"WHAT!!" All the Ninja shouted in disbelief.

"DO YOU KNOW WHO THAT WAS!?" Jay screeched at (Y/N).

"Some kind of living shadow that Lloyd informed me was his dad when I meet him later." (Y/N) said calmly not understanding what was the big deal.

All the Ninja just stared at her in disbelief. "Was Lloyd incorrect?" (Y/N) asked looking at everyone's expressions.

"No, that was definitely my dad." Lloyd said confidently finishing his cotton candy. It smeared all over his face.

"That was indeed my brother." Sensei Wu said walking into the room.

"I came in here to see if my students had already found the answer to my riddle. But it appears that they have stumbled upon something important." Sensei Wu said walking over to his students.

"Important enough that we can stop training all day?" Cole appealed hopefully.

"Did you find the answer to the riddle?" Sensei Wu asked.

"Uhh... the best way to defeat your enemy is... to... train? Sensei?" Kai guessed.

"Maybe more training will help you focus. Remember what happened to your vehicle's when you lost focus. A razor sharp weapon is an extension of a razor-sharp mind." Sensei Wu says directing the Ninja back outside to train.

"Uuurrgghh!!" The Ninjas groaned all at once.

"How are we supposed to focus when we don't know who the green is!?" Jay complained as they walked back out to the training area.

"I don't wanna train all day! Let's work together on this riddle, we can figure it out!" Cole agreed.

"(Y/N) may I speak with you alone?" Sensei Wu asked. (Y/N)'s eyes flickered to Lloyd who had a frown on his face. "No." (Y/N) answered with a sharp definitive tone in her voice.

"Perhaps some other time when you are both more settled in." Sensei Wu said walking off to his room.

"What else can your magic bag do?" Lloyd immediately shouted as soon as Sensei Wu was gone.

Ed and Edna laughed. "There's no such thing as magic little one." Ed said ruffling Lloyds blond hair.

"But we would like to have a look at the satchel bag." Edna said tugging at (Y/N) cloak.

(Y/N) looked at all three expecting face and rolled her eyes and presented the satchel bag for their inquisitive eyes.

(Ninja P.O.V)

All the Ninjas were training like their sensei had told them to.

"Anyone got a solution Sensei's riddle?" Cole asked pouting a little.

"It can't be that hard! What's the best way to defeat an enemy? Zane, you're smart. What is it?" Kai asked Zane.

"I do not know. But I sense that Sensei's gonna keep us here until we find an answer." Zane replied.

"That bothers me. Because while we're here the enemy is in there playing." Cole says and hitting the ground with the stick in his hand.

"And eating cotton candy." Jay sobbed at being denied his favourite treat. "And sucking up to your parents." Cole pointed out.

Cole and Jay started to yell at each other.

"Is It true what she said, Kai?" Zane asked his brother. "About what?" Kai responded as he stopped to watch Cole and Jay yell at one and other.

"About you wronging her?" Zane continued. "I thought she was with the boneheads that kidnapped Nya." Kai admitted.

Zane was about to continue when Cole and Jay both shouted out. "We go it!"

Sensei Wu was writing something when the Ninjas peeked through his door.

"Oh! You must have found the answer to what is the best way to defeat an enemy." Sensei Wu says and looks at them.

"We have Sensei! It's, on three guys! One. Two." Cole says then they all together say. "Teamwork!"

"Is that what you all think?"

"Yeah!"

"Sadly! You are all wrong."

"Oh!" The Ninjas said disappointedly. They started to walk back to the training.

"I'm starting to think whoever's figures this riddle out can be the green ninja!" Cole said frustrated. When Nya cries out in alarm.

"NYA!?" Jay calls out running off to find her.

"It's something else besides training!" Kai says happy to not to have to train right now.

"Lloyd Garmadon! You come here right now!" Nya shouted chasing after the boy. "No!" Lloyd shouted running away from the annoyed Nya.

"I got him!" Jay declared chasing after him.

"No!" Lloyd shouted louder.

"No, you don't!" (Y/N) say with a sing-song voice and stomped on Jay's right foot.

"Ow! Ow! Ow! OW!" Jay cried out clutching his foot.

"I'll take her! You're too weak!" Cole said to Jay who was jumping while holding his foot.

"Hey! I'm not weak!!" Jay defended himself.

Cole went for Lloyd. He picked up Lloyd by his arm and threw Lloyd over his shoulder.

(Y/N) threw a punch at Cole, but Cole caught it perfectly.

"Are you trying to win against a ninja with that?" He asked teasingly.

(Y/N) smiled. "No. I'm just keeping your hand busy." She says and pulls him forward and knees Cole in the stomach. The pain caused Cole to let go of (Y/N)'s arm and bent forward to clutch his stomach, Lloyd slid off of Cole's shoulder and ran over to his (Y/N)'s side.

"Is she THAT strong!?" Kai mocked his winded friend.

"No... But she... don't fight fair..." Cole says trying to catch his breath.

Zane and Kai took out their weapons and walked towards (Y/N) and Lloyd. "HA! You suck! You're no match for (Y/N)" Lloyd shouted at them from behind (Y/N).

Kai who was closest looked at him in annoyance.

(Y/N) took the chance, She used the back of her right hand to knock Kai's sword out of his hand. and punched him in the face with her left. Kai fell backwards, tripping over a pile of junk and fell through the open door on to the deck of the Destiny's bounty.

But (Y/N) let out a yelp and fell to her knees holding her injured hand.

Zane charged forward with a kick towards the girl. But (Y/N) smirked as she grabbed his foot, and flipped Zane onto his stomach. (Y/N) then sat on his back, just to tease the Ninja.

Nya and Sensei Wu both came around the corner at the same time followed by Jay's parents, who were just in time to see a smirking (Y/N) on Zane's back.

"Hehehehe! That was fun!" She says and pulled Lloyd on to her lap causing Zane to grunt a little at the added weight on his back. "Did these stupid boys hurt you?" (Y/N) asked Lloyd examining him.

"Nah, but it was so cool how you faked out the white one." Lloyd said awestruck.

"What is going on here?" Sensei Wu asked looking at his defeated students. "Your idiot boys were attacking Lloyd again." (Y/N) responded darkly a threat berried in her words.

"What are you talking about Lloyd was harassing my sister." Kai shouted pointing at (Y/N) and Lloyd.

"Kai he wasn't harassing me," Nya informed her brother with a sigh and held out a washcloth. "I was trying to wash his face he's covered in cotton candy and wouldn't let me wipe it off."

The Ninja's looked at Lloyd who was making faces at them cotton candy still present on his face.

____Timeskip____

Now it was dark outside. It was time to say goodbye to Ed and Edna. "Do you have to go home?" Lloyd asked the pair.

"I agree with Lloyd." (Y/N) said quickly. "I don't trust these individuals not to try something If you are not here to watch them."

"I'm afraid so, but you're both welcome to visit," Ed told them. "And don't worry we've had a long talk with our son and his teacher. Isn't that right son." Ed called out to Jay.

"Uuurrgghh!!  Yes, dad." Jay groaned hoping his parent would just leave.

"Make sure to bring Jay with you if you can." Edna said giving them both a hug goodbye Lloyd giggled loving the warmth of the hug.

(Y/N) just froze in place unsure of what to do. "Oh, and one more thing." Edna said whispering something into (Y/N)'s ear.

"Jay, you still have clean underwear right?" Edna asked before leaving. All the Ninja burst into laughter.

"Mum!!" Jay shouted through his teeth and began to push his parents out of the door.

At the request of Edna and Ed Walker (Y/N) relinquished control of the Ninja's bedroom back to them and she and Lloyd moved into their own room.

Lloyd was jumping up and down on his bed while (Y/N) was sitting on her own after making sure both beds weren't booby-trapped.

(Y/N) was reading a small handbook that Ed and Edna had found in (Y/N) satchel.

The small handbook had a hardcover and silver designs on it, a skull with ruby eyes in the centre.

Lloyd said the book looked a little scary but (Y/N) just shrugged and continued to skim through the pages in case it had any clues for her.

There was a knock on the door. "Come in." Lloyd shouted. Before (Y/N) could stop him.

It was Sensei Wu carrying chair and book of his own. "I was wondering if it was ok if I read Lloyd a bedtime story." Sensei Wu asked nodding his head at the book in his hand.

(Y/N) looked at Lloyd who nodded. "The boss says yes." (Y/N) informed the old Sensei and returned to her own book.

Sensei Wu set the chair next to Lloyd's bed and began to read to his nephew.

____Timeskip____

"And that's why Jack the rabbit, never trusts a snake. The end." Sensei Wu said finishing his story.

"Uhh... If my dad had read me that book, I would've never made that mistake... I'm sorry Uncle..." Lloyd apologised.

"Not your fault Lloyd." (Y/N) said interrupting Sensei Wu before he had a chance to speak. "If those boys hadn't hurt you, you wouldn't have run off and fallen into that snake pit. If anyone is to blame it's them." (Y/N) finished not even looking up from her book.

"Goodnight, Nephew sweet dreams ." Sensei Wu says tucking him in. "Oh, and (Y/N) we will need to have a private talk." Sensei Wu said glancing at the girl.

"If it is about the ninjas that are standing outside the door, I'm already well aware that they are there!" She says still not looking up from her book.

Sensei Wu faces the door and the Ninja quickly hide.

"See! Isn't she great!" Lloyd says with a smug look on his cute little face.

Sensei Wu smiled and walked out from the room, and all the Ninjas got closer to him.

"I don't get it, Sensei! Why aren't these brats getting punished!?" Jay exclaimed.

"Yeah! We had to train all day, but they get a bedtime story!? It's not fair!" Cole whined.

"You're right! I nearly forgot. Why are you not still training? Did you find the answer to the riddle?" Sensei Wu asked them.

"...No Sensei... We still don't know what's the best way to defeat your enemy is..." Cole says and they began to walk with their heads dropped.

"It's to make them your friend!" Sensei Wu says with a smile, making the Ninja grown out loud.

Author's notes: Sorry for this being a little rushed. I got halfway through writing this when the file deleted all my work and In Australia cotton candy is called fairy-floss I had to go back and fix that once I realised what I had done.
