Author's Note:

This is my second hated season behind rebooted. It's poorly written, brings the Nya drama back and the characters do stupid things for the sake of the plot! So infuriating.

(Third Person P.O.V)

The ninjas looked at Nya then at Nadakhan, then back to Nya suspiciously.

 "What's really going on here?!" Cole demanded angerly. "And don't think you can lie to us." Zane shouted at the pair.

Lloyd was just glaring at Nadakhan waiting for an opening to wail on the Djinn in the brutal matter that he deserved.

Nya stared at the ninjas slight panic in her eyes. Nadakhan sensing the oncoming hostility left bidding Nya farewell as he did.

Nya gave a frustrated sigh. "Ok, fine. I made a wish with Nadakhan." Nya admitted to the remaining members of her team.

"You made a wish with Nadakhan and didn't tell us!?" Jay yelled at Nya making her harshly flinch.

"How could you be so stupid to make a wish?" Jay demanded, clenching his fists tightly. He couldn't believe Nya would do something so stupid.

"Jay, this is all your fault." Nya renounced to the Master of Lightning, tears prickling up in her eyes.

 "Nya what are you talking about?" Jay demanded angerly awaiting Nya's answer.

"Jay... I..." Nya began to struggle to get the words out as her teammates stood there judging her.

"When Nadakhan came to me when I was alone, I made a wish for you to be rich so we could get back together but instead you got that letter saying your father had died and you'd inherited his estate." Nya explained with tears in her eyes.

Jay couldn't believe that she did this to him. He glared growling under his breath and silently wished that Nya was the one that was taken instead of Kai.

"Why? Do you know what this did to me?" Jay demanded, seething with anger at his ex. "To find out that I'm adopted and my birth dad is Cliff Gordon."

"Who?" Cole asked the name meaning nothing to him. "The man who played Fritz Donnegan!" Zane quickly informed Cole as Nya and Jay screamed insults at each other.

Lloyd, on the other hand, was still in shock unable to respond.

Lloyd was silently raging inside of himself, he knew Nya was envious of (Y/N) but her insecure, gold digging, spiteful nature had put them all in danger and lost him half of his family.

"So when Nadakhan offered to help me I took it. I never meant for any of this to happen. I just-" Nya was cut off by the others.

"Wh-what!?" Cole, Lloyd and Zane shouted all they could do was stare at Nya, attempting to process the sudden idiotic information Nya had blurted out.

"Even though I've made it painfully clear you'll never have a chance to cheat on me again." Jay shouted and Nya flinched at Jay aggressive behaviour towards her.

"How could you be so stupid to make that wish? Everyone else who has faced him is now gone." Cole demanded just seething with rage at Nya's absurd behaviour towards Jay.

"So did you." Nya shoots back at the Master of Earth. Only to be met with a deathly glare from Cole.

"At least I got us out of imprisonment, you're just some gold digger." Cole roared as he stormed out.

Cole couldn't even look at Nya any more without being sick.

Zane sighed in disappointment and followed Lloyd as he left in disgust to get away from Nya.

"This is all your fault." Jay hissed at Nya with a slight edge in his tone then walked out of the room. He was still upset but he right now they needed to deal with the evil Djinn right away.

"I just wanted us to end back up together again." Nya whimpered out loud.

(Nya's P.O.V)

After Jay left I fell onto the couch trying to hold back tears before bursting out into them.

"I loved him I truly did. I messed up big time trying to go after Cole. So when Nadakhan found me. I couldn't resist the chance to get what I wanted."

"I should have just love Jay from the start, I never should have wished, I never should have listened to Misako then maybe this never would've happened."

I ended up crying myself to sleep hoping I would feel better in the morning.

(Third Person P.O.V)

The next morning the ninjas gathered together to use the lantern.

"Ok, we need to look at that lantern Jay, hit the lights." Lloyd instructed ignoring Nya's presence.

"Oh, the lights." Jay responded and looked all over the room for the light switch until he found a panel with buttons on them. "Ha. I found them." Jay announced as he ran over to the panel.

Jay pushed one of the buttons and it turned on the air conditioner. He tried another one but it turned on the stereo blaring a soundtrack from a Fritz Donnegan movie.

Jay tried another and the windows were closed off by metal shutters, turning the room dark.

Jay started to get frustrated and started pushing all the buttons. Eventually, Jay found the right button letting out a laugh of triumph.

Lloyd, Zane and Cole walked over to a table to examine the map in the lantern. "So, this is the map to the only thing that can stop Nadakhan?" Cole questioned making sure he had this right.

"Not stop. Only weaken him." Lloyd reminded Cole. "Remember a drop of tiger widow venom can kill a normal person however it can weaken a Djinn long enough for us to trap him."

"This island doesn't exist according to my database." Zane pointed out. "So the Tiger Widow is on that island?" They continued discussing the plan as Nya stood to the side.

Nya eventually turned to Jay. "Look. I'm sorry. I know I should have told you sooner but I was scared that you'd hate me. I don't want this to ruin-" Nya pleaded with the Master of Lightning.

"If anyone else gets hurt." Jay growled at her just waiting for an excuse to pounce at Nya's misdeeds.

Nya was cut off by a large tremor that caused the whole house to shake.

The Fritz Donnegan Animatronic shouted out its catchphrase. "Fear isn't a word where I come from."

The shaking stopped and the T.V. had turned on automatically as a result of the earthquake. The team all turned their attention to it as the news was playing.

The T.V Reporter: "It seems that a piece of Ninjago has randomly gone missing. This has happened multiple times now. and we are unsure of the cause or reason behind it."

"I have a feeling Nadakhan is behind this." Lloyd stated. "We need to get that venom right away."

Zane turned to his falcon. "Go out there and see if you can find what Nadakhan is up to." The Master of Ice directed, the falcon squawked in understanding and flew off.

(Third Person P.O.V)

At Chen's Noodle House, Dareth had finished trying to put Echo back together and was now a jibbering mess that Skylor had been left to deal with.

Though Captain Soto who had never seen a copper Nindroid was still staring in awe of Echo.

While Echo was sitting on a table, continuing to read (Y/N)'s book, while everyone was else, was have a panicked discussion.

Ronin looked over at Echo. "Chapter 2." Echo read out loud to himself. "The art of war and the different types of monsters."

"Having fun there, kid?" Ronin asked nodding towards (Y/N)'s book.

"It's fascinating. It's really given me a new appreciation for— " Echo continued. "Echo, why do you have (Y/N)'s book?" Ronin butted in. "(Y/N) never lets anyone near that thing."

"Echo, do you know where (Y/N) is?" Dareth questioned the Nindroid. "She went to fight the Djinn." Echo informed the former thief.

"Did you say Djinn?" Captain Soto demanded having been unintentionally listening into the conversation.

"Yes." Echo said now directing his attention to the pirate Captain. "Nadakhan." Captain Soto spat out the name as if he'd swallowed poison.

"Nadakhan?" Skylor questioned only now just having managed to calm down Dareth.

The shop door opened and in walked the Postman and his bike. "Ah, here you three are I have letters for you."

"Also do you by any chance know where Miss (Y/N) is I have quite a few fan letters for her."

"Just leave them with us." Dearth said rolling his hand at the Postman.

"Sorry, I'm under stick orders to deliver them to only her, personally." The Postman insisted he took his job very seriously and took pride in his job.

(Third Person P.O.V)

What was left of the ninja team left the villa heading for the shoreline in search for a ship to rent.

They eventually arrived at a docking area in search of a boat so they could head to the island.

Cole was walking in the back of the group looking down at the ground.

"Cole. You've been kind of quiet on the way here. Is everything ok?" Nya asked trying to start up a conversation.

"I'm fine!" Cole snapped back Nya was taken aback by Cole's sudden attitude but decided to just ignore it. Zane looked back at Cole with a worried expression though decided not to interfere.

"I don't understand why we don't just take our dragons." Jay said changing the subject.

"We won't have enough energy to fly our dragons all the way to the island." Zane explained to him. "Besides with a ghost with us, it will be much safer to take a boat."

They walked up to a captain sitting alone in a boat. "Uh, excuse me? We'd like to charter ship." Jay politely requested.

"No can do. There's a storm coming. So unless you've got your own ship. You can't go out." The captain explained.

Jay looked over to a large fancy looking boat as the others started walking away.

"Hey, that wouldn't happen to be Cliff Gordon's boat would it?" Jay asked pointing to the ship. "Why, yes it is!" The captain exclaimed in confusion wondering how Jay could have known that.

"Huh. That's convenient." Jay said to himself. "Hey, guys. We can take this one." Jay called to the others.

They all climbed into the boat and set sail.

Jay and Lloyd were setting up one of the sails. "Hey, do you guys know where Cole went? He should probably stay below deck." Jay stated as he continued setting up the sails.

"He already went underdeck." Zane informed him. Suddenly the door swung open and Cole popped out his head.

"Uh, what's happening out here?" Cole asked and Lloyd gives both Zane and Cole a canteen each.

"Here. You'll both need this." Lloyd directed to the pair. "Why do we need a canteen?" Zane questioned in confusion.

"There may be no fresh water on the island. This way we won't be without." Lloyd said as if Zane should already know.

"Zane's a Nindroid and I'm a ghost why do we need canteens?" Cole emphasised for Lloyd.

"Oh." Was all the green ninja could say while rubbing the back of his neck.

"Well, take them with you just in case." Lloyd instructed, now with the sea was relatively calm. The team decided to relax for a bit.

Cole and Lloyd were taking turns challenging Zane to Minidroid Chess with Zane beating them every time.

Jay was sitting on an upper platform of the ship and Nya was steering the ship.

"Um, Jay." Nya said trying to start a conversation with the Master of Lightning.

"Not now, Nya." Jay growled at her not wanting to talk to her.

"Jay, please." Nya begged only to be met with a growl from the Master of Lightning.

"Nya! I. Don't. Want. To. Talk. To. You!" Jay spelt out to the water ninja in training.

"Oh, no!" Jay shouted as he turned back around after his argument with Nya only to see the oncoming storm.

"What? I didn't say anything else?" Nya said upset and scared as Jay began climbing down the ladder to the main deck.

"There's a storm heading our way!" Jay announced pointing towards a swarm of dark clouds nearing the ship.

"That's not just any storm. It's an electrical storm!" Zane shouted out. "Jay, you have to be the lightning rod or else this storm will destroy the ship!" Lloyd instructed.

Jay nodded and climbed to the top of the sail pole in order to act as a lightning rod. He held out his hand to attract the lightning.

Lloyd and Zane were holding the sail up with rope while Cole steered and Nya poured any extra water overboard.

Jay continued to get electrocuted by the lightning but it then flowed down the pole and attracted itself to Zane's leg.

"The lightning keeps coming because we have a nindroid aboard." Cole pointed out.

"Zane. You'll have to go below deck." Lloyd directed Zane nodded and walked away underdeck.

"No! We all need to stay together!" Jay shouted as he redirected another jolt of electricity.

"We can't risk this boat getting destroyed." Lloyd said. "Or well have to swim to the island and I'm not waterproof!" Cole shouted at the others.

"But what if something happens to him!" Jay yelled back in concern for the ninja of Ice.

"Zane will be fine! he's smart enough not to wish, unlike others." Lloyd assured Jay. "Hey!" Cole and Nya yelled at him.

Zane picks up a Minidroid Chess piece but notices one move on its own. "Huh?" Zane gasped as Nadakhan appears and laughs. "Your move."

"Surprised to see me?" Nadakhan said to the angry Master of Ice. "On the contrary. I was waiting for you to show up." Zane admitted to the Djinn.

"Then I take it you want to make a wish." Nadakhan said picking up a Minidroid Chess piece.

Zane noticed the dark purple and black veins on Nadakhan's arm. Zane also took note that it was the hand that (Y/N) had grasped.

"Well, what are you waiting for? Make your first wish." Nadakhan teased picking a chess piece.

"That looks rather painful." Zane commented picking up his own chess piece.

Nadakhan grumbled slightly and put away the arm in question and used another to place the pieces across the board.

"You've gone against your word to (Y/N) haven't you?" Zane teased taking one of Nadakhan's chess pieces.

Nadakhan let out a growl. "And what would you know about that, also shouldn't you be making a wish?" Nadakhan demanded taking one of Zane's chess pieces.

"We've all been on the receiving end of her never-ending wrath. She's also a songstress if I was not certain of your defeat I would instruct you to listen to some of her music. It's quite good." Zane informed the Djinn with a smile.

Nadakhan let out a growl as Zane took another one of his chess pieces.

"Now, For my first wish." Zane answered sensing the Djinn's growing hostility at him.

"I wish that you'll not twist my words nor find a loophole and understand the true intentions of the words that I speak and carry them out as I've thoroughly instructed." Zane said calmly.

"Very well. I understand you perfectly and shall take you at your word. Your second wish?" Nadakhan said taking one of Zane's chess pieces with a smug look on his face.

"My second wish. It is imperative that from here on out. No harm may befall my brothers." Zane commanded to Nadakhan.

"I've not heard that one before. Very good." Nadakhan said generally impressed with the first time wish.

"Now for my third wish—" Zane began only to be cut off as Nadakhan took one of his chess pieces.

"But for clarification. You said whatever harm may befall your brothers." Nadakhan said interrupting with a smug tone already seeing loopholes in what Zane had said.

"What do you mean?" Zane questioned as he made his next chess move. "What if said harm were done to someone else, say you?" Nadakhan said trying to tease the blue-eyed Nindroid.

"I'm well aware that you are trying to twist my words, but you absolutely heard me perfectly." Zane informed Nadakhan.

"Um, Yes... Now for your all-important third wish. Make it count." Nadakhan said trying to sound confident but failing Zane had managed to throw the Dijnn for a loop.

Nadakhan found himself wondering what Zane's plan was for a moment but shrugged it off it wasn't like it was going to matter in the end the Nindroid was on his final wish.

"Let see there are so many things I could wish for but know no matter what happens to me. Checkmate." Zane said winning his game of Minidroid Chess.

"So what you won a chess game big deal." Nadakhan scoffed knocking over the board.

Zane chuckled at the Djinn's sore loser antics. "No matter what I wish for (Y/N) is the one that is going to win." Zane informed Nadakhan with great confidence.

"I wish for (Y/N)'s agreement with you to be increased tenfold." and with that Zane concluded his final wish and Nadakhan.

As soon as Nadakhan made it back to the Misfortune's Keep. Nadakhan's arm started to sting Nadakhan looked at his hand.

Nadakhan examines his arm dark purple and black veins had started sprouting out on his arm in a various manner momentarily causing the Djinn to collapse upon the ship's deck and writhe in pain.

As a giggling child's voice whispered in Nadakhan's mind:

The one who holds the stolen ice,

brought this curse upon themselves twice.

Let cruelty, pain and all things not so nice,

Make this trickster endure it thrice.

As all their ill deeds come with a price,

And this never-ending curse shall suffice.

For karma's judgment is always precise,

From bad to worse ill deads become last rites.

(Third Person P.O.V)

The lightning began to calm down but a giant tornado of water erupted from the sea. "Cole get below! Nya take over!" Jay ordered to the others.

"What do you think I'm trying to do!?" Nya retorted attempted to steer the ship away from the vortex as Cole ran below deck.

The ship began heading for a large formation of rocks as they all tried to keep the ship together.

"Brace yourselves!" Lloyd yelled. The boat crashed into the rocks. Jay was flung off the pole and smacked into one of the rocks and everything began to go black.
