(Third Person P.O.V)

Darkness swept over Ninjago, the shining glow of the moon casting away, in the cool night's air.

Lloyd was frail from running on seven days of no sleep. He was more than half dead on his feet.

Lloyd's brain felt like cotton, his body was so heavy as it was filled with lead, his eyes burned as though they had been dunked in acid.

Lloyd's eyes continued to fall shut of there own free will his body insistence on much-needed sleep. Grouchy was an understatement for his current mood.

"Lloyd get some sleep." Kai instead to the stubborn Green Ninja. "No!" Lloyd pouted like a small child refusing to take a desperately needed nap.

"Lloyd, you need to rest up." Zane pleaded with him trying to coax him to rest while Lloyd still had the chance to do so.

"It's important." Lloyd implored as Cole and Jay joined in with their brother's attempt of trying to get Lloyd to sleep.

"Ok, Lloyd. Tell us what's so important then you have to rest. Ok?" Jay replied coming to a compromise with the cranky and highly sleep deprived Green Ninja.

"When Morro was possessing me he used this necklace to see inside (Y/N)'s head." Lloyd began to explain to his brothers.

"What's so important about that?" Kai questioned and received a dirty look from Lloyd.

"I got to see too, I saw her memories of her past and where she came from." Lloyd snipped at the Ninja of Fire causing Kai to back off.

Lloyd was profoundly intimidating when he was without sleep.

"Spill! What did you see?" Jay pleaded wanting to know exactly what Lloyd had seen.

"I would also like to know." Zane piped up excitedly. Cole looked at Lloyd expectantly, waiting to hear any secrets he may devolge to them about their joint crush.

Lloyd face held a pained sombre expression. This worrying the Ninja's deeply as the Green Ninja began to speak.

"It's bad. Guys, it's really, really bad." The pain in Lloyd's voice was too much to bare.

"The horrors she's lived through...What she's... What they did to her..." Lloyd started to cry struggling to get the words out. "I wish I could show you what I saw."

"Promise me. You won't give her the Realm Crystal..." Lloyd pleaded with his brothers, as his crying increased.

"She... She-e can't go back... S-she c-can't ever go-o b-back... to that p-place... Please d-don't let h-er go b-back to that-t awful p-place." Lloyd wailed collapsing onto the ground, a flood gate of tears running down his face.

The Ninja's looked to each other as Jay comforts Lloyd by hugging him then taking him to rest in his bed.

When Jay returns Sensei Wu and Nya have joined them. "We heard everything over the Intercom." Nya informs Jay as he walks back into the impromptu meeting.

"Lloyd remained adamant that we do not tell (Y/N) about the Realm Crystal." Zane denoted as they continuing their conversation.

"But what if (Y/N) finds out we hid this from her," Kai acknowledged as he let out a prolonged whistle before adding. "It would not be pretty."

Sensei Wu gives Jay a concerned stare. "How is Lloyd?" Sensei Wu urges Jay to tell him about his nephews well being. "He passed out crying himself to sleep." Jay confessed dejectedly to the others.

"Oh dear." Was all Sensei Wu could say in response. Everyone else had a pained expression on their face once Jay said that.

Poor Lloyd had taken so many numerous emotional beatings recently that they were concerned for the young boy's health.

"Whatever he saw. It scared him, really badly." Jay added rubbing his arm as he did. "He needs help."

"He needs (Y/N)." Nya spoke quietly. No one wanted to admit that but it was true.

"Are you crazy Nya?!?" Jay shouted at her. "No, wait. I know you're crazy! (Y/N)'s people perished, the last chance she had to save them was destroyed by Lloyd." Jay continued to rant at Nya as if she'd gone mad.

"Wait. Does Lloyd know that?" Cole questioned as the implications of that sank in for all of them. "I do not believe he or (Y/N) are aware of this." Zane answered quietly.

"At least that's something." Sensei Wu said going to make some tea. As the others let out a small sigh of relief. "Where are you going?" Jay demanded as he watched Sensei Wu go.

"Let him go, Jay. Here's how I see it. Even if (Y/N) used the Realm Crystal to return home. It's too late." Cole continued and took a deep breath. Their options only seemed to range from bad to worse.

"We could tell Lloyd and (Y/N) that it wasn't Lloyd's fault. It was Fenwick and that we already handled him." Jay offered as a plan.

Cole let out a heavy sigh. "It is not that simple, Jay." Cole told him as he pinched his own noise.

"Why not?" Jay questioned as everyone turned their attention back to the Master of Earth for an explanation.

"It would destroy (Y/N)." Cole spoke in a sombre tone as a cold silence swept through each of them.

"And then she would turn all that grief and rage onto Ninjago. Even if she didn't mean to." Nya added wide-eyed in horror at the thought of what (Y/N) could unleash upon them all without trying.

"Look, Lloyd said it was a bad place anyway." Kai said coming up with a flimsy excuse. "I vote we don't tell her."

"Second." Nya shouted voice her opinion. "We're already fighting Morro right now we don't need to spread ourselves out thin."

"It is a bad idea to lie to (Y/N)." Zane objected. "I agree with Zane." Jay acknowledged. "It's better to confess what you know and work through the fallout."

"Cole. It's down to you." Sensei Wu said returning with the tea for everyone and began to hand it out.

Cole bit his lip they both had good points. "I...I vote... We get the Realm Crystal first then we decided."

(Third Person P.O.V)

As the citizens of Ninjago happily, celebrating the New Year Festival.

In Chen's Noodle House. Ronin is sitting by himself watching TV as he waits for his order to arrive.

Reporter on TV: "The year is almost to an end and the residents of Ninjago eagerly await to celebrate tonight's New Year Festival."

"Hard to believe you don't have any friends to usher in the New Year with." Skylor said handing Ronin his order.

"Let's just say. I'm good at making friends, just not keeping them." Ronin sighed sadly picking at his meal instead of eating it.

"Even a friend who spoils the party every once in a while is still a friend." Skylor says as she looks at Ronin's Aeroblade sitting on the table, which Ronin takes away.

"Ah. It's okay. I've been around enough weapons in my day. In fact, kind of reminds me of some old friends." Skylor responds with a warm, comforting smile.

"How much do I owe you?" Ronin requests going to pull out some money but Skylor stops him.

"It's on the house, friend." Skylor answers with a small smile. "Huh. Appreciate it." Ronin says slightly shocked at Skylor's kindness.

Reporter on TV: "Festival celebrations are going on all over Ninjago."

"Hey, mind turning that up?" Ronin asked Skylor who turned up the volume on the TV as requested.

Reporter on TV: "And no other town celebrates like the residents in Stiix."

"You know that sewer swamp?" Skylor questioned the thief. "Yeah. I used to call it home." Ronin admitted to Skylor.

(Third Person P.O.V)

As the bounty docked at the steep wisdom and the Ninja disembark.

"Shouldn't we be going to Stiix?" Kai questioned his Sensei as he helped his little sister down from the Bounty.

"I can get down by myself." Nya hissed at Kai, but as she was stepping down her foot got caught sending her tumbled forward straight into Kai's arms.

"What was that you said you can get yourself down?" Kai chuckled as he sat Nya gently on her feet.

"Whatever." Nya muttered pushing past her brother. "We need to stock up." Sensei Wu answered Kai's earlier complaint as Nya stormed past them completely red-faced.

"On what? Magic tea that will give us special powers? Is it gonna give us four arms? Make us invincible?" Jay gasped with a huge smile getting himself all excited at the thought. Cole chuckled at Jay's huge smile.

"Sadly, no magical tea. I had to sell all of the merchandise, along with everything else." Sensei Wu admitted to his students as they reached the shop there painted on the doors was a huge X.

"What? You sold your business? That was for your retirement." Zane gasped in horror at Sensei Wu as the doors flew open and Cyrus Borg came out in his wheelchair. Quickly followed by Mini-droid.

"Ah! Hello again, Ninja's." Cyrus Borg greeted, wheeling through the doors with a huge grin on his face, happy to see them once more.

"While we were away I had Borg use the money from the tea farm to create us some new toys to balance the scales. They were rather expensive." Sensei Wu admitted to his students with a slight chuckle.

"It's been so long, I hardly recognize any of you. Lloyd and Jay you both look older." Cyrus Borg complemented the pair.

Both Lloyd and Jay shy away in slight embarrassment at the compliment Borg had just given them.

"Zane now has such beautiful blue eyes." Cyrus Borg admired causing Zane to blush a little at the compliment as well.

"Kai looks shorter." Cyrus Borg chuckled as Kai's face twisted a little at the comment. "Hey. What do you mean I look shorter?" Kai panicked causing his brothers to chuckled at him.

"Yes, always the vain one. And then there's... Huh? Cole is a...a ghost?" Cyrus Borg said staring at Cole. Making Cole feel very, self-conscious.

"Hey, Fun size!" Kai teased patting Mini-droid on the head enraging the Nindroid so much that he kicked Kai in the shin.

Kai yelped in pain and started rubbing his now bruised shin while the others laughed. Mini-droid hissed something at Kai, that only Zane was able to understand. *I'm glad Dareth broke yours* and stomped off.

"Come, let's cut to the chase." Cyrus Borg says and presses a button on his remote to bring up their vehicles.

"I've made Jay a lightning-fast Ghost Taker GT. Front spectral intake, rear incorporeal storage." Cyrus Borg says showing off his latest creations with great enthusiasm.

"Oh, why did the Ghost cross the street? Oh, I don't know, maybe 'cause he saw me coming in this!" Jay shouts happily as he jumps into his vehicle. A large grin spread across his face.

"I've equipped Zane's Ice mech with underarm Deepstone particle shooters, allowing you to freeze the competition." Cyrus Borg bragged, very proud of the upgrades he'd instaled on the mech.

"Super cool. And I mean quite literally." Zane chuckled and jumps into the mech.

"Cole, I've made you the Ghost Cycle. Twin carbine blasters, auto-evasive handling. And I've even set the radio to your favourite: soft rock." Cyrus Borg says as Cole climbs on and turns on the radio. "Whoa!" Cole cheered as he turns on the radio.

"And for you, Kai." Cyrus Borg said and he tosses Kai a red headband. "A headband?" Kai questioned looking at him.

"I apologise. I ran out of time building the other vehicles. Eh, same goes for you, Lloyd and Nya. To be honest, I wasn't sure you'd be making it back." Cyrus Borg apologised to the pair.

Mini-droid chuckled something that once again only Zane understood. *That's not true. Dareth broke the red ones and you spent the rest of the time watching Treble Maker music videos, so you could stare at the girl you have a fanboy crush on*

This caused Zane to chuckle. "What did he say?" Jay whispered to Zane. "I'll tell you later, Jay. Right now we need to be focused." Zane promised his brother.

"When Morro opens a bridge between our two realms. It will take time for the Preeminent to cross." Cyrus Borg informed the Ninjas.

"Which is why we need Lloyd to use his powers to destroy the Realm Crystal before that happens. If Ninjago is cursed, the other realms are sure to follow." Sensei Wu warned the Ninjas with the at most authority.

"Wait?! Did you just say destroy?" Jay asked his Sensei thinking he had misheard him. "Yes." Sensei Wu responded wondering why Jay objected.

"What about (Y/N). We agreed to get the Realm Crystal first then decide." Jay explained calling back to the teams earlier conversation about the Crystal.

"Jay is correct we did vote on it." Zane pointed out back up Jay's clams. "She's NOT going back!" Lloyd declared angerly the tone in his voice daring anyone to disagree with him.

"Lloyd if you destroy that..." Jay began only to be cut off. "She already hates me for the book!" Lloyd counted with tears in his eyes.

"Lloyd that wasn't your fault." Cole told him grabbing a hold of the Green Ninja by the shoulder.

"It was Fenwick's. Fenwick meddled in all our destinies so he could get Morro out of the Cursed Realm." Cole desperately recounted to Lloyd.

"Fenwick?" Lloyd questioned Cole not understanding who he was talking about.

"I'll explain from the beginning." Cole apologised to Lloyd scratching the back of his neck as he did. "Fenwick was the Master writer he was working with Morro."

"Fenwick messed with our destinies. So you would burn the book, causing (Y/N) to curse us so Morro would be free to find the Realm Crystal." Cole explained to Lloyd hoping that he would understand none of this was really his fault.

Lloyd was silent for a bit before wiping the tears from his eyes and turning to Cyrus Borg.

"Um. Mr Borg." Lloyd asks getting Cyrus Borg attention who was busy adding all this to his equation about (Y/N).

"Do you have any way to see into other peoples memories?" Lloyd asked the inventer hopefully. The Ninja's all shared a look with one and other.

"Why?" Cyrus Borg asked questioning Lloyd bizarre inquest to him.

"When Morro was possessing me. I got to view inside (Y/N)'s mind, I witnessed her memories of her past and where she's from. Is there any way to show what I observed to the others. Please, it's really important." Lloyd pleaded with Cyrus Borg.

"I suppose I could rewire the same machine we used to send you into the Digiverse to defeat the Overlord to project memories but it will take some time." Cyrus Borg reported to him.

"Thankfully, we can busy ourselves with fighting Morro." Kai insisted trying on the headband. They needed to be focused.

"They'll be expecting us. And Morro still has the Sword of Sanctuary. Even with these fancy new vehicles, how are we supposed to get close?" Nya questioned slightly jealous that she didn't receive anything.

"Maybe I can lure him out. He said he always wanted to be the Green Ninja." Lloyd suggested willing to play the bait.

"No. He will not leave the Realm Crystal unguarded until his Master is freed." Sensei Wu informs the team.

"Even with our powers back, he's seen all of our moves." Cole added bitterly.

"Our greatest power isn't what we can throw at him. It's what we have right here. A united team." Sensei Wu declared to the Ninja.

"An almost united team." Lloyd sadly sighs referring to (Y/N)'s absence.

(Third Person P.O.V)

At Stiix, (Y/N) is overlooking the city. Ready and waiting for an arrival with a newly sharpened Vengestone sword clasped tightly in her hand.

Morro slips into an unoccupied building and gets to work summoning the Queen of the Cursed to this realm.

"Now let's shed a little light." Morro says as he sets the Realm Crystal in place and opens the gateway to Cursed Realm Ghost Warriors began to pour out.

"Wow! Oh, man. That's awesome." Some of the Stiix Residents called out watching the light show.

"Ah, it's good to be back." Wrayth said stretching his back. "How long until the Preeminent is ready?" Morro demands impatiently.

"Her energy is still too strong to cross the Ethereal Divide." Soul Archer informs Morro.

"The longer the gateway stays open, the stronger it becomes. We must prepare for her arrival." Bansha instructed the others.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let the festivities begin." Morro laughed as Ghost Warriors and Skreemers take over the city. Sending the citizens of Stiix running away in fear.

"Hey, my dragon!" A white-haired little girl screamed losing her toy in the chaos. As the army of ghosts spread out across Stiix, attacking civilians and occupying the city.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Ronin and Skylor watch the TV in shock as they both watch footage of the celebration in Stiix being overrun by Morro's army of ghosts.

"I have to go." Ronin tells Skylor and races out the door. "I've got to call my friends." Skylor shouts at the same time.
