Ronin began hysterically searching the tea shop for the Sword of Sanctuary, while everyone else was outside dealing with the vicious Smith siblings at each other's throats.

Bansha's message on its own was terrifying but the fact that (Y/N) had wished him hello with the same message sent chills down his spine and only served to make Ronin search harder.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Kai and Nya continued to scream and yell at one and other. The Ninja's having to keep them apart.

"Enough! We all knew the path to save Lloyd was never going to be a straight line. At a time like this, we mustn't butt heads but put our heads together." Sensei Wu declared to his students.

The ninja's snicker slightly. "I'm sorry. You said buttheads." Jay childishly giggled. Sensei Wu lets out a groan at this.

(Third Person P.O.V)

While the ninja where busy, Ronin slipped back out and snuck into one of the side buildings. As Ronin snuck into the shed he spied what he was looking for the sword's case.

"Ah." Ronin says as he opens the sword's case and pulls out the sword.

Nya looking for a place to quietly vent walked in just in time to see Ronin holding the sword with a cocky smile on his face.

She could work with this...

"You know. Something about you stuck with me." Nya stated condescendingly as she glared the startled thief down.

"Oh, yeah. And what's that?" Ronin replied as he pointed the sword at Nya.

"That you could give Morro and his ghouls the sword in return for your cursed soul. Looks like I was right." Nya declared and grabbed the nearest gardening tool she could use as a weapon... A garden hoe.

"I don't need the sword to tell me where this is going." Ronin answered readying for a fight.

The two launch at each other trading blows with their weapons. "I need this sword and I don't want to have to hurt you. Nya." Ronin warned Nya this sword was the only thing that could save him.

"You know, I was thinking the same thing." Nya countered as they flung each other backwards from the thrusts of their chosen weapons.

Ronin looks at the blade of the sword and foresees Nya was going to kiss him. "Ugh!" Ronin gags, outraged Ronin kicks Nya in the shins.

"Ouch! What did I do to deserve that?" Nya shouted at Ronin rubbing her shins.

"You know what you were about to do. I have too much self-respect to fall for that kind of cheap trick!" Ronin declared taking advantage of Nya's distraction and tripping her with the garden hoe Nya was using as a weapon.

Nya grunts as she hits the shed floor and Ronin bursts out laughing as Nya begins to pound at the ground in rage like a child.

"He's getting away with the sword!" Nya shouted alerting the Ninja of Ronin's treachery and Ronin quickly finds himself surrounded by the Ninja.

The Ninja activated their own water traps. However, they quickly become entangled in their ghost security system.

Jay accidentally steps on a trip wire releasing a barrage of water balloons that almost kill Cole sending the poor ghost boy running for his afterlife shoving Kai and Zane out of the way as he frantically runs away.

Zane and Kai both land on the spring loaded water balloon launchers sending them flying into the air.

Kai is tossed into the river and Jay was forced to rescue him before he drowns.

Zane, unfortunately, continues to land on one spring-loaded trap after another releasing more water balloons for Cole to run from.

Jay had almost pulled the terrified Kai from the water when Zane came crashing back down to earth.

"Ow!" Jay groaned in pain after Zane landed on him with a crunch.

"Haha! That was way too easy!" Ronin laughed at their misfortune.

"Hm, my luck seems to have turned, must be (Y/N)'s doing." Ronin thought out loud and whistles to summon R.E.X. to his side.

The Ninja's used Airjitzu to try and catch the thief but couldn't go high enough to catch Ronin.

"Aah! He's getting away! To the Bounty!" Kai declared and lead the charge to the bounty.

"He's fast." Sensei Wu commented. "You're faster." Misako smirked hinting to Wu's powers.

As the Ninja board the Bounty while Sensei Wu summons his Elemental Dragon for him and Misako.

"Care for a ride?" Sensei Wu offered gently holding out his hand to Misako.

"I thought you'd never ask." Misako said taking his hand as she battered her eyes at him, causing Wu to blush a deep crimson.

"Let's get him, boy! Hyah!" Sensei Wu instructed the dragon. They all quickly catch up to R.E.X., only to find it was empty.

"He's not aboard." Misako announced angerly. "It's a trick!" Sensei Wu declared to the ninjas. "Then where did Ronin go?" Kai questioned looking around for the thief.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Meanwhile, Ronin had taken a small boat down the river, Ronin whistling as he manned the small boat towards his next destination.

Ronin reached Stiix and journeys to his pawn shop. Where Morro and his allies were hiding out.

"Heh, I like what you've done with the place." Ronin said walking into the hideout.

"Good evening." Morro said to Ronin. "And good night." Ghoultar announced as he left his card game with (Y/N) to inspect the sword.

"Pretty gusty making your hideout right here in Stiix. With this much water, they'd never come looking for you here." Ronin said with a smirk.

"I've never been afraid of anything." Morro shouted at Ronin.

"Hey, Ronin." (Y/N) said putting down her cards. "Yeah, H-hey (Y/N)." Ronin gulped taking a seat at the makeshift table. As Ghoultar inspected the sword to make sure it is real.

"So. Why are you doing this?" (Y/N) questioned Ronin as she gathered up the cards.

"You know why. Giving Morro the sword is the only thing that'll save my cursed soul." Ronin huffed at (Y/N).

"From them or me?" (Y/N) teased with a grin. "Ha. Ha. Very funny." Ronin hissed not enjoying her joke.

"They'll never hold up their end of the bargain. So why do this for them?" (Y/N) warned wondering what possible reason Ronin had for trusting the ghosts.

"I have to. It's my only shot." Ronin admitted bitterly.

"Well, I hope you get your soul back after all this goes down." (Y/N) says truthfully slipping the cards into her satchel.

"The sword, no fake." Ghoultar affirmed as he finished examining the sword then handed it to Morro for use.

"Huh. For once, the crook makes good." Morro says surprised then throws the sword at the map on the scroll to find the location of the tomb.

"Ha! The Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master." Morro declared triumphantly.

"Now. What about my soul? The deal was you'd remove the curse and free me." Ronin demanded wanting this to be over and done with.

"You can have your soul but the deal has changed. I want the Ninja too." Morro demanded with a wicked grin.

"Whoa! hold on. A deal's a deal!" Ronin said mad that the Master of Wind wanted to change the deal. "Why do you even care about the Ninja? I thought you said you weren't afraid of them."

"Oh, I'm not. But our Queen the Preeminent requires certain... Safeguards." Morro laughs and the Ghouls laugh with him. (Y/N) just sat there watching the spectacle unfold.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Back at Steep Wisdom the Ninja, Nya, Sensei Wu and Misako debate about where Ronin and Morro could be.

"Well, obviously he's taken the sword to Morro." Jay said. "But where's Morro? He could be anywhere." Zane stated just as the Falcon squawks and projected a message from "Ronin."

"I can't talk loudly but I wanted to let you know. The scroll and sword did reveal the tomb. I know where it's located. The tomb is in the Caves of Despair! They're coming." "Ronin" gasped and the message cuts off.

"The Caves of Despair? We've been there. I don't remember seeing any tomb." Sensei Wu said stroking his beard.

"But there are still miles of un-explored mines. It could be there." Misako pointed out.

"But why should we believe him? It could be a trap." Nya denoted to the others.

"We don't have the scroll and we don't have the sword. With Lloyd's life at stake, what other choice do we have?" Kai replied anxiously.

"Ninja's even a misstep could be a step in the right direction. We can not afford to do nothing. The Ninja will go. As for Nya, you're still not ready." Sensei Wu announced and Nya scoffed at it being unfair.

(Third Person P.O.V)

"It's a wrap." Ghoultar laughs as Morro releases Ronin from his possession.

"Pretty good impersonation. But they'll never buy it." Ronin groans in pain. "We shall see." Morro mocked him. "What about Ronin?" Soul Archer asked looking down at the man.

"Leave him. He's worthless now." Morro scoffed. "If you're both done with him. I'll take him." (Y/N) offered nudging her head towards the weakened Ronin.

"And I'm not taking 'faulty goods' If you catch my meaning." (Y/N) said turning her head to Soul Archer.

Soul Archer, in turn, looked to Morro. Ronin watching them all closely fear evident in his eye.

Morro sighed in frustration. "Give him to her. All of him." Morro ordered. Soul Archer grumbled but agreed to hand over control of Ronin's soul to (Y/N).

"Well, ghouls. I'll take Ronin and be on my way." (Y/N) said pulling Ronin up by the scruff of his neck and towards the exit.

"By Ronin." Bansha said as the pair left the hideout. "I think that boy just wound up with an even worse fate then he had before he got here." Bansha pointed out once they had left the hideout.

"Ghoultar go to the Caves of Despair. Set a trap for the Ninja. Bansha follow the girl. I want to know what's she's up to." Morro ordered The ghosts nodded and proceeded to follow their commands.

"Soul Archer and I will head to the tomb at dawn." Morro declared with a smirk.

1) Ok, discussion time. People have been questioning how (Y/N) cursed the Elemental Masters with her Karma powers here's how:

In some cultures, it is believed that a person's Karma can be transferred or inheritance from ancestors to one's current life. Think of it like a Karmic inheritance.

Example: Your ancestors did something bad; that Karmic burden is then inherited down the generations until repentance, it is set right or rituals to alleviate Karmic burden is performed.

That is what (Y/N) has done when anyone talks about the curse (Y/N) has placed on them.
