(Third Person P.O.V)

After the skiff fell off the cliff it continued to travel down the mountain, till it shattered on impact with a large rock that had been submerged in snow.

(Y/N) and Morro who was still possessing Lloyd's body were sent flying when they landed Lloyd's head connected with a frozen rock, knocking both Morro and Lloyd out cold.

(Y/N) on the other hand, landed on her back, knocking the wind out of her leaving her writhing on the ground gasping for breath.

(Y/N)'s eyes burned bright with rage. 'Hela was alive!' (Y/N) wanted to scream out in rage.

'That witch was alive! How could she have been so foolish as to believe that she'd actually finished off Hela.' (Y/N) scolded herself for her own stupidity.

'Hela was the strongest necromancer Knighton had ever seen after all, so of course, she had some way to defy death itself in one form or another.'

"How could I be so stupid!" (Y/N) screamed to the heavens.

'Killing Hela and burning her body so no one could resurrect her wasn't enough.'

'So I'll just have to correct my mistake and finish Hela off. It is my very own self proclaimed raison d'etre after all.'

(Third Person P.O.V)

Morro could feel blood dripping from his or rater Lloyd's nose and a bit from the head. Everything hurt. He wanted to get up, but the body isn't cooperating.

The darkness begins to become darker. He could feel the body he was inhabiting being picked up and someone talking before the darkness fully overtakes him in its cold grip.

Morro found himself sifted through Lloyd's memories with bitter envy as he tried to regain conciseness. (Y/N) and Lloyd were so close.

The 'Matching war wounds' they had both received from the Fangpyre tribe.

[....]

(Y/N) covering for Lloyd when he stole the old man's lesson book. (Y/N) taking care of Lloyd when he was sick and threw up all over the floor.

[....]

(Y/N) protecting Lloyd, (Y/N) singing Lloyd to sleep at night, (Y/N) CARRYING Lloyd on her back as he slept through training.

[....]

(Y/N) sacrificing herself by staying behind in the exploded volcano to be swallowed by the sea of lava.

[....]

(Y/N) sacrificing herself to rescue Lloyd from the Leviathan.

[....]

As Morro slowly awoke, he assessed his surroundings to discover he was in a cave, tied to a stalagmite.

His mouth was gagged with some kind of rag. Morro did his best to try to spit the gag out or chew it off somehow, but the gag was too thick and too tight.

Morro looked down to find his feet were also bound together with rope. "Did you sleep well?" (Y/N) mocked getting Morro's attention.

"You had quite the fall back there. You're luckily I patched you up." (Y/N) said her glowing eyes staring him down in the dark frozen cave. Morro answered with a glare of his own.

Something was off about her she seemed darker. As though a something had taken the warmth and light out of her.

"Such an accusing look Morro. There's no need to worry I'm not going to kill you. Think of it as my own special, little way of thanking you for restoring my memories,"

"I can't tell you how annoying it was not being able to remember it was as though I had an itch that I just couldn't scratch,"

"Just simply agree to tell me what I want to know and I'll let you both go." (Y/N) chuckled darkly and walks over to him, brushed the back of her hand against his cheek as she unbinds his mouth.

Morro blushed and looked away from (Y/N) and to the bindings. Once the bindings around his mouth were removed Morro began to speak.

"You expect me to give you information when you've got me tied up like this?! You seem to be forgetting that I'm a ghost I can easily get out of these restraints." Morro hissed but (Y/N) cold disposition didn't change.

"While you can phase through those bindings but Lloyd can't and you need him." (Y/N) sneered leaning forward just a bit more.

"And you seem to be forgetting that I can harm a ghost." (Y/N) laughed it was cold and hollow sending chills down morro's spine.

"Or perhaps you need a demonstration as to how far I can and will go?" (Y/N) said holding up The Allied Armor of Azure for Morro to see with one hand and started to crush it.

Crack after crack rapidly appeared in the Armor. Shards began flying off in all directions, the cracks getting bigger, branching out in jagged pieces. Sickly light and thick smoke started pouring out of it before tossing it behind her as it explodes.

Morro gives her a shocked look, pausing to consider his options.

"What with the shocked look Morro? You've seen inside my head; there is nothing I won't do for my people. Ready to talk, now?" (Y/N) questioned with a sinister and stern look on her face.

Morro stared at her, slack-jawed. Then after several long moments of tense silence... "I'll talk..." Morro growled through clenched his teeth causing (Y/N) to smile.

"Good boy." (Y/N) said gently patting Morro on the head. Morro in turn blushed and rightfully panicked slightly.

"Where's Hela?" (Y/N) questioned determined to get answers. "I don't know. I've only seen her in your memories." Morro answered her truthfully.

"Then who gave you the seashell necklace that allowed you to control me?" (Y/N) queried not taking her eyes off of him.

"My master, The Preeminent was also known as the Queen of the Cursed." Morro responded truthfully, again.

"Where is she?" (Y/N) requested. "She's stuck in a place called the Cursed Realm." Morro answered. "Anyway to get there to ask her how she got it?" (Y/N) inquired studying Morro carefully.

"You can ask her yourself when she arrives after I get to the tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master and summon her." Morro smirked triumphantly at her.

"Well, as soon as Ronin is finished spying for you with the Ninja's first. Then you'll be able to summon your Queen." (Y/N) corrected him with a sly smile.

"How in the name of the First Spinjitzu Master do you know that?" Morro demanded angerly his triumphant smirk failing.

"I'm not stupid." (Y/N) stated candidly as she untied Morro.

"The Ninja have nothing of value and Ronin wouldn't stick around for so long for nothing." (Y/N) said releasing Morro and heading towards the entrance of the cave.

"You're just letting me go. Even after the whole mind-control thing?" Morro doubted raising an eyebrow at her in suspicion.

"I'm not even mad about that." (Y/N) acknowledged sincerely and resumed heading towards the entrance of the cave.

Morro slowly pursued after her to the exodus of the cave, peering ahead to the outside of the cave.

It had started to become dark outside there was no way someone could reach the bottom of the alps safely in the dark.

"You're seriously just going to leave and walk down a frozen mountain in the dark?!" Morro disputed but received no reply as (Y/N) marched out into the cold snow.

Morro panicked pursuing after her and dragging her immediately back into the safety of the cave.

"Morro let go!" (Y/N) shouted pulling away from Morro. "Why must you be so difficult? Morro howled at her as he pulled back. "You'll die if you go out there!"

"I'll be fine! Worry about yourself!" (Y/N) declared as she continued to struggle. Morro pulled back twice as hard, pulling them both down to the floor of the cave.

"Morro!" (Y/N) growled at him tugging at his arms however Morro was determined to keep her safe.

"(Y/N), calm down." Morro ordered as they struggled. "Just hear me out, ok? It's too dangerous to go down the alps in the dark we're both stuck here for the night."

"So what do you purpose?" (Y/N) demanded through gritted teeth finally freeing herself from Morro's clutches.

"We make the best of it." Morro clarified a little out of breath from the struggling.

"And how do suggest we do that? Why are you even stopping me? Don't you have a spy to check in with and a Queen to summon?" (Y/N) questioned superstitious of Morro's intentions.

"We make a fire, wait until dawn and then go our separate ways." Morro compromised his eyebrows furrowed in concern, his ghostly, emerald orbs, sad and beseeching (Y/N) to agree.

(Y/N) let out a frustrated sigh and conceded. "Fine." She agreed and started pulling sticks out of her satchel, for a fire.

Morro smiled to himself as he gathered up some rocks. A night alone with (Y/N), cuddled up together by a warm fire, he intended to make the most of it... It also didn't hurt that Lloyd would be forced to watch as Morro swept the girl he loved of her feet.

Morro sat down next to (Y/N) by the warmth of the fire. Morro kept look over to (Y/N) before looking away then looking back again.

(Y/N) however just ignored him, and focused on warming her hands by the fire.

"There's something I need to ask you, just between us." Morro stated finally deciding how to break the ice.

"Well since I'm not going anywhere, now. Go ahead." (Y/N) answered not looking at him.

"Did Wu ever tell you about your powers?" Morro asked. "Or the prophecy scroll."

(Y/N) snorted. "I don't trust that guy. If he ever said anything to me it was promptly ignored." (Y/N) revealed with a shrug and Morro let out a chuckle.

"How about the Ninja?" Morro inquired. "Nope. the only exchanges any of them ever really had with me was to fight, insult, and plot to kill me. Sometimes all three at once." (Y/N) answered, referencing Nya's little plot.

Morro could feel Lloyd spirt stir. Upset over (Y/N)'s words, causing him to smirk a little.

"Then allow me to enlighten you where Wu and the Ninja have failed too." Morro offered (Y/N) rolled her eyes she might as well hear Morro out she had nothing better to do.

"Let's start at the beginning shall we," Morro stated with a small smile.

"I trained hard every day. I knew the prophecy backwards and forwards. But when the Golden Weapons didn't react to Me, Wu turned his back on me and refused to waste his time training me."

"Destiny has spoken. The Golden Weapons only react to the Green Ninja." Morro said mocking Sensei Wu.

"Pretty decent impression." (Y/N) admitted to Morro. "Thank you. When you're a ghost you have a lot of time on your hands." Morro replied with a smile which (Y/N) returned.

Morro could feel Lloyd's pain at the fact Morro had managed to earn a small smile from (Y/N). It had been so long since Lloyd had seen her smile from her and it was for Morro...

"Now where was I." Morro scoffed going back to his explanation.

"After that, I went back to the prophecy scroll to see if I had failed to understand some part of it and that's where I found it... A riddle at the bottom of the scroll referring to a grey ninja."

"Yeah, I really don't understand why people in this realm are so obsessed with prophecies and destinies." (Y/N) revealed. "I don't even believe in destiny. So is there something I'm not getting or-"

Morro started laughing hysterically cutting (Y/N) off. "What's so funny?" (Y/N) questioned.

"Y-you don't believe in destiny?" Morro continued to laugh (Y/N) just shook her head no.

"You really don't, do you?" Morro said wiping away a tear he'd hadn't laughed this much in years.

"No, I don't. And I still don't understand why this is so funny." (Y/N) answered raising an eyebrow at his antics.

"Oh, (Y/N) it just so ironic that you of all people don't believe in destiny." Morro chuckled looking at her with his glowing green eyes.

"Ok. I'll bite, Why is it ironic?" (Y/N) asked her own glowing reddish-orange eyes matching his.

"Because I solved the riddle," Morro answered with a smug look. "It refers to a certain Elemental Master who wields a very special element... Destiny,"

"Because the Elemental Master of Destiny was not around to physically chose the green Ninja was the only reason the weapons had not reacted to my presence."

"And all this has to do with what, exactly?" (Y/N) questioned trying to understanding what he meant.

"I know who wields it," Morro answered teasingly. "And I'll show destiny the wrong decision it made." A strange expression fell over Morro's face.

(Y/N) didn't know what to call the expression on Morro's face was showing. Jealousy? Sadness?

"What do you mean by the wrong decision 'destiny' made?" (Y/N) asked curiously.

Wordlessly, Morro firmly but gently, gripped (Y/N)'s chin. Licked his lips, and kissed her with everything he had... again and again; turning (Y/N)'s head in different directions to plant kisses all over her face, using different amounts of pressure with each kiss, never quite getting enough.

(Y/N) while shocked at first, slipped her hands under Morro's arms they travelled up his back to Morro's hair. Her fingers lovingly weaved through the silken locks, before strongly griping Morro's hair and pull him away.

Morro panted heavily, a huge smile on his face as he looked at her with longing in his eyes.

(Y/N) eyes smouldered in anger at his little antics but that only made Morro love her more.

"You're the grey ninja, The Elemental Master of Destiny."
