The ninjas were standing on the bounty's deck no one seemed in a good mood. Jay was angry, Cole was depressed, Kai was anxious and Zane was still talking like a pirate.

"What's up with you Zaptrap?" Kai teased trying to break the tension in the air. "Shut up Kai. I'm in no mood for your or Nya's stupid mind games." Jay growled at the ninja of fire.

Kai was taken back. "What is that supposed to mean?" Kai questioned a hostile Jay.

"Both of you stay the hell away from me. All I want to do is save Lloyd and (Y/N) and I want to do it with as little interaction with either of you." Jay growled as he shoved past Kai wanting to get away from the red ninja.

"What brought that on?" Zane said his pirate voice making it a little hard to hear him.

"Guys we need you down below." Nya called out to the boys who headed below deck.

"Without your mechs, you'll never be able to survive the extreme condition's on your own, I've also installed headsets into your hoods for easy communication." Nya instructed the ninja.

"Then let's gear up, we have one big mountain to climb." Kai said with a smile.

"Tell me, Zane, how tall is this mountain?" Jay said bluntly it was clear to everyone the tension in the room.

"The precise elevation of the wailing Alps be well over three leagues and 28 fathoms." Zane said his pirate voice failing to put a smile on Jay's face.

"Remember once you get to the peak, you'll only have one shot to shoot the blind man's eye don't miss." Ronin teased the ninja.

"I don't know guys you had time to practice. Maybe I should sit this one out." Cole said unsure of what to do.

"Don't even think about it. You may be a ghost but you're still part of the team." Kai said trying to comfort him but failing normal the was Jay's job but Jay was in no mood to cheer anyone up.

"Opening Hanger doors." Ronin announced.

"Anyone else be getting a tingling feeling?" Zane asked looking down at the open air below them.

"Yeah-- frostbite." Kai said shacking because of the cold air.

"Drop 'em!" Ronin sneered and Nya pressed a button and the mech's dropped. "Ninja Goooo!" all of the ninjas shouted as their mechs plummeted to the mountain.

All of the mechs stuck the landing except for Cole's. "Cole are you okay?" Kai asked as Jay and Zane helped Cole mech to its feet.

"Got to work on that landing you sure you want me along I can hardly control my new body, let alone this piece of Metal?" Cole said with a sigh.

"Hey we all have our bad days, we'll pick you up so next time up so next time you can return the favour." Kai stated.

"Ye' brother be right the only way we're getting up ye mountain is if we be a hearty crew." Zane said and the mechs started walking up the mountain.

(Third Person P.O.V)

"The Blind Man's Eye will be passing the peak in T-minus four hours." Nya reported.

"Good, then if there isn't any trouble, they should be able to get there in time." Sensei Wu said taking a sip of his warm tea to chase away the chills.

"Just out of curiosity, why is it they call it the Wailing Alps?" Nya asked Misako.

"Because when the unnaturally strong wind gusts blow through the canyons, it creates a wailing sound. They say some gusts are strong enough to blow someone clear off the face of the mountain." Misako answered taking a sip of her own warm drink.

"Right. No trouble at all." Ronin said out loud. "And what do you mean by that Ronin?" Sensei Wu asked the thief.

"You're telling me you haven't noticed?" Ronin questioned the old Sensei who just looked at him plainly.

Ronin let out a big sigh. "As a dealer in antiquities-" Ronin began only to be cut off by Nya. "You mean thief." "As I was saying you get really good at reading people and your boys are an emotional mess." Ronin grunted at being so rudely interrupted.

"Can you explain what you mean, Ronin?" Sensei Wu questioned putting down his tea and Ronin let out an annoyed sigh as Misako and Nya watched.

"The blue one is angry, The Ghost is depressed beyond belief, that hothead has to face his mind-controlled niece in battle that alone has to be messing with him and that robot can't even talk straight." Ronin listed off the old man.

"What was that third one?" Sensei Wu asked while Misako looked to Nya and Ronin rolled his eyes. "I'm talking about (Y/N)." Ronin scoffed at the trio.

All three looked at him as if he had gone crazy. "What?" Ronin demanded. "(Y/N) Isn't my niece." Nya scoffed at Ronin.

"Oh please, Don't tell me you haven't figured it out yet. The hothead's dad was obsessed with (Y/N)'s relative and then she magical give birth to a daughter (Y/N)'s mother. Do the math people." Ronin sighed shaking his head at the trio as he walked out of the control room.

Leaving Sensei Wu, Misako and Nya to digest what they had just been told.

Misako's drink slipped right out of her hand and she didn't even notice. Sensei Wu was recounting the years back to when the Elemental Masters were at war with the Serpentine with a pail look on his face.

Nya, on the other hand, passed out.

(Third Person P.O.V)

"Not so bad if you get the hang of it." Cole said as they walked up the frozen mountain.

"So this sword of Sanctuary do you really think you can see all your opponent's attacks." Kai said trying to make conversation with a very uninterested Jay.

"If Morro gets to it first nothing would stop him which is why we have to keep climbing... Zane how much further is the top." Jay asked wanting the conversation to be over.

"Thar be a long way. at least a hundred thousand steps up." Zane answered.

"A hundred Thousand!" Kai said. "Good thing we're not counting. Right, Jay?" But Jay just ignored him.

"Oh, Jay look it's a little goat." Kai pointed out to Jay. "That's not a goat." Jay answered coldly and continued walking.

"Alright, I've had enough of the Jay Walker silent treatment." Kai augured steeping in front of Jay to stop him from walking.

Zane stopped his mech and looked down there were footprints.

"These tracks be fresh, Be careful. We not be the first ones to climb this pass today." Zane informed his brothers.

"You think it was Morro?" Kai asked looking around.

"Who else is crazy enough to be at this altitude. If he's ahead of us, we're bound to cross paths." Cole pointed out.

A wailing sound pierces the air. "What's that sound?" Cole asked looking around.

"Wind gust anchor down." Zane shouted and everyone grabs onto the ground, but the wind is too strong.

"Hold on everyone!" Kai shouted but the mechs are blown down a few feet and Cole's was nearly blown clear off the mountain.

"I can't hold on!" Cole shouted in fear as Zane used a grappling hook and caught Cole's mech.

"That was close is owe you one." Cole replied with a sigh of relief. "Come on there's still a lot of mountains to go." Kai said and they started walking again.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Morro was watching the Ninja below them. "We are too far ahead of they'll never catch us." Soul Archer answered smugly.

Morro grunted in pain. "What is it, Morro?" Soul Archer questioned.

"Lloyd's spirit continues to fight my possession he's getting stronger." Morro explained. "And with the unstable landscape around us, Miss (Y/N) cannot sing to her full extent to keep him under control."

"At least let me slow them down." Bansha offered. "Very well send them a message. Make sure they'll hear you loud and clear." Morro said with a smirk.

Bansha smiles then takes a deep breath in and screeches, making an avalanche.

(Third Person P.O.V)

The ninjas heard a rumbling sound. "Another gust?" Cole asked.

Then they saw a wave of snow hurling toward them. "No worst, avalanche!" Kai screamed in fear as the waves of snow caught them and swept the mechs off their feet.

Jay's smashed into a rock and broke apart and he was left sliding down on a piece of his mech.

Kai had been thrown out of his and he fell behind Jay on his makeshift sled.

"Blimy I'm trapped!" Zane shouted buried underneath the snow.

A snow giant appeared and caught Zane's mech before it fell off the mountain Jay and Kai's impromptu slead.

"Cole is that you?" Jay asked. "You possessed the snow!" Kai shouted happily.

The snow giant placed the mech back on its feet on the mountain with Jay and Kai holding onto it before the giant crumbled and Cole stood there with a small smile and said: "Yeah, I guess we did."

"This isn't about who's a ninja a nindroid, or even a ghost above all else, we're brothers, and as iron sharpens iron, brother sharpens brother." Cole said joining his brothers.

"First we get cyclone-do now we get a ghost on our side!" Jay cheered. "Tis good to see you both smile." Zane said. 

"So we're down three mechs but up in spirit still how are we going to catch up we lost a lot of ground?" Kai asked.

"How about we see what else I can do!" Cole said he then possessed the mech and soon the team was running back up the mountain.

"All right brothers let's do this." Jay said and the mech started to scale the mountain with ease.
