"Um, Nya who else knows about your secret cave?" Ronin asked cautiously. "No one. It's a secret." Nya growled insulted that Ronin would ask that.

"Well, it looks like we're not alone." Ronin said pointing the open entrance with a small smile.

Nya gasped in shock at the sight of the entrance and who was standing guard out front.

"Well, now would be a good time to leave." Ronin said turning R.E.X around but Nya stops him and forces him to land.

(Third Person P.O.V)

"All right, so there's no way out of the Haunted Temple but at least all the commotion's died down." Jay chuckled nervously. The clock rings and the Ninja screamed. "It's just a clock." Cole says taking deep breaths.

"Everyone, get ahold of yourselves!" Zane orders. "Zane's right. What are we doing? We need to toughen up. We're Ninja! We already missed out on the Airjitzu the first time, we can't let this opportunity pass. " Cole agreed with the Ninja of Ice.

"Uh, guys? Are paintings supposed to move?" Kai questioned his brothers as he walks up to a picture of a ship in the sea. Jay tapped the picture and the room slowly starts to flood.

"Why did you touch the scary picture, Jay?" Cole screamed at Jay as the room started to flood. "I didn't know it would do that, Cole!" Jay shouted back at the Ninja of Earth.

Kai desperately tries to open the doors. "They're all locked!" Kai screamed in terror at the rising water.

"As iron sharpens iron, Sensei sharpens student!" Sensei Yang's voice rang out.

"Oh, great, back for round two." Jay replies sarcastically. "Water. I'm afraid of... Water. We're all gonna drown! Kai says hyperventilating as he tugs on the door desperately.

Jay grabs onto a plank that was floating past. "It's all in your head, Kai. He's trying to scare us out so we don't get Airjitzu." Jay called out to the scared Ninja of Fire.

"I don't know, tastes pretty real to me." Cole hissed at Jay. Kai finally managed to open a door and they flow out of the room in a torrent of water.

"First the haunting, then water. What's next?" Cole complained.

"That's it!" Jay screamed in realisation. "He is testing us. Don't you see, Cole's afraid of Ghosts, and Kai's afraid of water."

"Which means whatever he throws at us next, we have to face together." Cole announced to his brothers.

"Fine, but time's running out and if we don't figure out a way of staying in this together, none of us is gonna get out alive." Kai agreed.

(Third Person P.O.V)

"Morro's here. He already knows Airjitzu what does he want with the Mechs?" Nya questioned out loud from behind some boulders the pair were using for cover.

"I've got a really bad feeling about this." Ronin warned Nya wanting desperately to flee the area.

"Stop being such a baby." Nya hissed at Ronin who growled back.

"If you've forgotten little miss Samurai Soul Archer's here the ghost that wants to take my soul to the Cursed Realm but also a mind-controlled (Y/N) is guarding the front entrance."

"Look my brother and his friends need help I can help them as a Samurai." Nya growled angerly at Ronin who wasn't even looking at her.

Ronin's eyes were fixed in place his face a look of dread Nya followed Ronin's line of sight back to the now unguarded Samurai X Cave entrance.

There is a loud crunch behind Nya and Ronin they turn around to see Morro piloting what used to be Nya's Samurai Mech that Ghoultar had turned into the Mech-enstein.

"Boo." Morro sneered as Ronin screamed. The trio of Soul Archer, Ghoultar and Bansha floated around Mech-enstein.

"Ronin!" Soul Archer growled the thefts name. "Ghoultar never let you leave!" Ghoultar threated. Ronin pulls out an Aeroblade ready to protect himself.

Morro smirked at the blade and began to use the Allied Armor.

"He's conjuring reinforcements! We can't fight them all. We gotta leave!" Ronin ordered.

"Not without my suit!" Nya shouted like a spoiled child. Seeing no other way Ronin threw Nya over his shoulders and runs away.

"Let go of me!" Nya demanded as Ronin whistles summoning R.E.X. to make his escape but Morro doesn't follow them. "Leave them. We have what we came for." He says leading the way to the next destination as the others follow

"Wait?" Bansha asks looking around. "Where's (Y/N)?" as soon as those words left her mouth the Samurai X Cave exploded fireball after fireball came roaring out of the cave entrance in a spectacular display.

Morro and his Ghostly cohorts stood there with their mouths wide open. "Ghoultar like! Ghoultar like!" Ghoultar chanted in excitement.

Morro was momentarily distracted by the sound of soft footprints landing on metal above him.

Morro smiled when he saw it was (Y/N) alive and well. "Come on we've wasted enough time here let's go." Morro ordered.

Nya looks back at the explosions tears running down her face. "Well, Looks like you don't have a choice now sweetheart looks like you have to become the Water Ninja." Ronin says also looking back as more fireballs charge towards the sky.

(Third Person P.O.V)

The Ninja managed to tie themselves together with a rope. "All right, no matter what happens we're in this together." Cole declared testing the rope.

"Just so we're not surprised, Zane, Jay, what sort of things are you afraid of?" Kai questioned the pair.

"I think I know what we're afraid of!" Zane states pointing at Morro. "Of all the times to have to fight him again." Cole bemoaned their luck.

"Wait a minute. If we're all afraid of Morro, this must be the next test. And how are we supposed to save Lloyd and (Y/N) if we don't even have the courage to face him?" Kai declared remembering his promise to Lloyd.

"He's right. Let's get him!" Cole announced and everyone runs after him but fall over each other.

"All right. Let's step together." Cole instructed. "One, two, three. One, two, three. One, two, three." They ran in sync until Kai stopped at a set of stairs.

"He went up to the attic." Kai informed the others as they go up and see Morro. "He's just standing there. What do we do?" Jay whispered to his brothers.

"I don't know. But go face him, Jay." Kai said shoving Jay towards Morro. "You face him!" Jay hissed shoving him back.

"We'll all face him." Cole said leading them towards Morro as they approach him, Morro disappears. The Ninjas jump back and they see Sensei Yang.

"As iron sharpens iron, Sensei sharpens student. You have passed the test." Sensei Yang states as he shows them a scroll.

"Huh? Then you'll teach how to do Airjitzu?" Kai says happily. "Only those who see things through will reap the benefit of the reward." Sensei Yang answers as he gives Cole the Scroll.

"That's not the only thing we see through. Why is it I can see through my hand!?" Jay yells in terror holding up his arm.

Sensei Yang laughs. "Now you will join my students." Sensei Yang continues to laugh as his students start to fade through the walls.

"He's not their mentor, he's their captor!" Cole screams as they are surrounded.

"The new dawns upon us. Get out of here before the clock's last chime, if you can." Sensei Yang gloats as the Ninja's run away screaming as they fall down the stairs.

"Why did we tie ourselves together!?" Zane questions as they pull themselves up.

"There's no time to complain, we just have to move. One, two, three. One, two, three." Cole orders as he counts out the steps to his brothers.

"The door! Hurry!" Kai shouts as they head towards the door Cole drops the Scroll. "The Scroll! Cole shouts as he unties himself to go after it.

The Ninja's collapse in a heap onto the ground just outside of Sensei Yangs temple. "My hand! I can see my hand! We made it!" Kai shouts in victory.

"But where's Cole?" Jay says panicked holding up Cole's end of the rope.

"Don't worry, I got the Scroll!" Cole declares holding it up for them all to see in triumph. Kai Zane and Jay gasps in horror. "Why are you all looking at me like that?" Cole questions his brothers.

"You didn't make it out in time." Jay says in shock. "You're a...a..." Kai couldn't even finish the sentence.

"I'm a...Ghost..." Cole says in shock. Sensei Yang laughs as the Ninja comforts Cole.
