(Third Person P.O.V)

The rain had finally stopped and thanks to the staff rolling away from them in the middle of the night the symbols on the staff appeared in the dirt for them by the time they had woken up. Much to Morro's delight.

Morro gave (Y/N) a quick kiss on the cheek for his good fortune and they were off to Domu.

(Third Person P.O.V)

It was late the ninja were in their sleeping bags, Sensei Wu and Nya were fast asleep while the four ninjas whispered amongst themselves.

"How can we compete against the Green Ninja? We've lost our powers. He's more powerful than all four of us combined." Cole whispered his frustrations to his brothers.

"This is different. Lloyd and (Y/N) are at stake." Kai whispered back to Cole.

"I can't believe (Y/N) is an Elemental Master. Why didn't she tell us?" Jay quietly asked the others.

"I do not believe miss (Y/N) knows she is an Elemental Master." Zane whispered back to Jay.

"How so?" Jay asked in a hushed voice. "None of us knew we were Elemental Masters till Sensei told us, and Chen did not know she is an Elemental Master and he was hunting us." Zane pointed out.

There was a hushed silence between the four brothers for a moment before Cole spoke again.

"Do you think she'll ever forgive us over what happened?" Cole asked in a sombre tone. His brothers were hesitant to answer.

Kai bit his lip and though back to the island he'd kissed her and told her he loved her but (Y/N) hadn't shown any signs of feeling the same way.

Granted he had been power crazy thanks to the Staff of Elements and the wounds of betrayal were still fresh for her... But she hadn't flat-out rejected him either. So maybe he still had a shot with her... He could only hope...

Jay looked down at the ground it hurt not having her around anymore she'd been a great help to him in these turbulent times in his life and how did he repay it...

He wasn't there... He wasn't there when she wrote to them... He wasn't there for her when Chen started to pay attention to her... He wasn't there for her when the other Elemental Masters turned on her... He just wasn't there... None of them were...

Zane looked up at the stars he did not want to upset his brother but miss (Y/N) was unpredictable and worst of all she had been hurt by their actions more than once.

"I am uncertain." Zane answered truthfully "Maybe." Kai whispered hopefully "No." Jay said firmly and all his brothers looked at him.

"We've done nothing but hurt her and now she's lost her only way home to her loved ones because of us. We have no reason to expect her forgiveness. We don't deserve it." Jay admitted and rolled over in defeat preferring not to look at his brothers.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Morro let out a frustrated sigh and turned to a monk of the ancient library of Domu. "Where's the Scroll of Airjitzu!?" Morro huffed.

"Oh, yes. Sensei Yang will be sorely missed. His teachings will always—" The Monk was cut off when Morro grabbed the Monk by the throat.

"Where is the Scroll of Airjitzu!" Morro growled at the man.

"It was s-stolen a-a a few days ago by that thief they call R-R-Ronin." The monk stuttered Morro and the Monk were interrupted by a by two younger Monks who had brushed past the pair to get a better look at (Y/N).

Morro released his hold on the elder Monk and the monk fell backwards as Morro went to see what the two younger Monks were doing to (Y/N).

"Oh wow, It really is her." The first young Monk gasped absolutely star-struck.

"Uh, excuse me. Um, could we get your autograph?" The second young monk asked holding out a piece of paper to (Y/N) who did not respond.

"Autograph?" Morro questioned from behind the two young Monks startling the pair. "Why are you two bothering Miss (Y/N)?" Morro demanded.

"Why wouldn't we be? She's (Y/N) from the Treble Makers." The first young monk sated when Morro didn't react they both rolled their eyes at him.

"You know the Treble Makers, the band with the Serpentine and that copper Nindroid in it." The second young monk described.

"Nin-droid?" Morro questioned giving the pair a confused look.

"You know the Nindroids those crazy robots that worked for the Overlord and tried to take over Ninjago by kidnapping people and putting them in cocoons? Miss (Y/N) fought them with the Ninja and the Serpentine helped her rescue people. How have you not heard of this?" The first young monk questioned.

"I've been away for some time." Morro answered putting his arm around (Y/N).

"You're pulling my leg, right? The first young monk questioned once more. "Wait, I think that's the Green Ninja. Mind if we all get a selfie with you two?" The second monk shouted and took a selfie with them before Morro could say no.

Morro grunted as the pair took off after blinding him with the light from the flash.

(Third Person P.O.V)

In his dream, Kai walks up to Lloyd on the docks. "Don't worry, big shot, I'll watch over you from now on." Kai tells Lloyd just as a Fangfish rose from the water and consumes them both.

Kai was awoken by a Walliper licking him which he had mistaken for the slimy mouth of a Fangfish causing him to scream louder.

"Oh good you're awake Misako got our message and we made breakfast. We put your plate down over there." Nya told Ki as he shoved the Walliper away.

"Where did that come from?" Kai demanded wiping the spit from his face. "They wondered in last night through an open wall in the teashop. There's three more outside." Nya informed her brother and going back to Misako.

Kai groaned when he sees the Walliper eating his breakfast and trudged off to see what Misako knew about the tomb.

"As far as I knew, the tomb was only a fable but if these imprints are correct then the first symbol means Airjitzu. But I haven't figured out the last two yet." Misako told the ninja.

"Airjitzu?" Kai questioned taking a seat next to Jay.

"A lost martial art created by Sensei Yang, who passed years ago. If mastered, it allows one to temporarily take flight." Misako explained.

"You hear that, Kai? We get to fly!" Jay said nudging him.

"You haven't found it yet. The Scroll of Airjitzu is well guarded in the ancient library of Domu." Sensei Wu explained to his students.

"Forgive me if I speak out of turn Sensei, but my records reveal it was recently stolen." Zane informed his teacher.

"Let me guess. Ronin." Cole guessed with a smirk. "Who's Ronin?" Nya questioned.

"Let's just say he's not a friend." Kai answered bitterly. "He is the man that sold me to Chen." Zane answered sadly.

"But this is good news, right? if Morro doesn't know this, he'll be heading to the library." Jay pointed out to his brothers unaware Morro had already beaten them there.

"Ronin is most likely holed up in the village of Stiix, which gives us a head start." Zane added with confidence.

"Then it's set. The Ninja will head to Stiix. We three will stay here at the tea shop and start deciphering the next clues." Sensei Wu ordered.

"But the Ninja will need my help—" Nya complained only to be cut off by Sensei Wu.

"I'm sorry, Nya. You're sitting this one out. There's too much to be done here." Sensei Wu ordered again.

"Uh, okay. Stand still." Kai said as he walked up to a Walliper. "This is because of (Y/N) isn't it?" Nya shouted like a petulant child. "It's because she's an Elemental Master!"

"Nya! Enough!" Sensei Wu commanded and Nya huffed.

"Don't worry, sis. With me in charge, this scroll will be ours in no time." Kai declared proudly only for him to fall off the Walliper.

"Be careful, Ninja, for the path we seek is never a straight line. Rely on each other to guide your way." Sensei Wu called out to his pupils.

"Wait up! I'm supposed to be leading!" Kai shouted at his brothers as they began to leave without him.

(Third Person P.O.V)

(Y/N)'s stomach began to growl so Morro had the dragon land somewhere they could get something to eat and arrives at a Biker Taven not far from Stiix.

"Thirsty?" The Bartender asked the pair as they took a seat at the bar.

"Insatiable." Morro answered and ordered two drinks and a plate of food for the pair of them. "Ah, it's been a while." Morro said after taking a sip of his drink.

Morro noticed that (Y/N) was staring at a man in a red had with ill intent in her eyes, before Morro could demand an answer from her he was approached by two men.

"You're a bit young for a place like this, ain't ya?" The first man questioned Morro.

"Wrong place to come if you ain't got friends if you know what I mean." The second man threatened Morro.

Morro let out a cold laugh. "Oh, I have friends." He announced and summoned Wrayth to fight them.

The second Ronin had spotted (Y/N) he had tried to leave but the exit became blocked the second a fight broke out and before Ronin could find a place to hide from Wrayth only to be pinned down by (Y/N) and her Meteor Hammer.

"Hey (Y/N) still mad about what I did to Echo?" Ronin chuckled nervously as (Y/N)'s eyes flicked between ghostly green to orangish-red and back to ghostly green.
