Life had changed for all who knew the Titanium Ninja Zane Julian.

Kai had become a masked underground fighter.

Cole had become a logger.

Lloyd continued his strict training under his father and uncle.

Jay had become a tv celebrity show host.

And (Y/N) continued on with the Serpentine and Echo making the Treble Makers a number 1# band.

Lloyd had shown up backstage at a performance the Treble Makers were having in Ninjago city at Borg tower.

Asking if she wanted to meet up and get something to eat, but she turned him down while it was nice seeing him again he couldn't fool her and he needs to understand she didn't want anything to do with Wu's ninja team.

Well, her words were more along the lines of "I'm not touching that garbage fire."

Lloyd left with a huge dramatic sigh in hopes of getting her to change her mind. But (Y/N) just shook her head and left a message for Jay on his phone that Lloyd was up to something.

Jay was the only Ninja she talked to at all once they all split and went there separate ways.

She helped him get his reality show which was a huge hit. It was nice seeing him happy again. He deserved to be happy.

Echo was happy too he'd been doing a lot better then he had been and she was grateful for that every day.

The Treble Makers were staying over in Borg tower after their concert much to Cyrus Borg's delight he was so happy too.

Everyone was just so damn cheerful and happy that it made (Y/N) sick... What she wouldn't give for a fight to break out or some deranged fan have a go at them, or some reporter to mouth off so she could punch them in the face.

(Y/N) would never admit this in her life but Kai had the right idea with the whole underground fighter thing.

(Ninja P.O.V)

Kai finally walked into Mr Chen's Noodle House. Lloyd waved at him.

"Kai! Over here!" he called out. I watched as the other consumers ate at their meals. Cole was basically dying to eat.

"Jay? Cole?" Kai asked. "Ha, you too?" Cole asked. "The runt tricked you both." Jay snorted he wished he hadn't come.

"(Y/N)?" Kai asked looking around. "Smart enough not to show up." Jay pointed out and Lloyd sighed.

"We talk first, then eat." Lloyd instructed as Kai went to grab a piece of sushi off of the buffet bar.

"Ugh, trust me, Do you know what kind of restraint I've had to have, staring at all this noodle goodness? You're late!" Cole pouted looking to the hothead.

"Make it quick." Kai responded. Lloyd explained how he knew it was hard not having Zane around anymore. Since his death, the boys had been separated for what felt like years.

They continued to listen to Lloyd until he said something that made them want to slap him.

"Maybe we should...add someone new to our team?" he suggested.

"A new ninja?" Kai asked brows furrowed. Jay shot out of his seat. "Are you crazy?" he exclaimed. "Come on! Zane's irreplaceable!"

Lloyd tried to handle the matter calmly. "I care about him too, but now it's time to care about this team." he replied.

"Maybe, without Zane, there is no team." Kai snared, crossing his arms, looking away.

"We weren't much of a team, to begin with." Jay sighed and Cole bites his tongue things were still tense between them which is the only reason Nya wasn't here with them right now.

Cole watched as someone pinned the cashier against the counter and made the cashier hand over money then went to stuff his face at the buffet bar.

Cole had seen enough he walked up to the guy and tapped him on the shoulder. The guy turned to face Cole and smirked.

"Excuse me, It's not polite to touch someone else's food!" Cole snapped.

"I'd listen to him if I were you. He's no fun to be around when he's hungry." Kai warned.

The rude man just continued to smirk and attempted to punch Cole, who blocked him using a pair of chopsticks, grabbing the man's arm, and flipping him over.

Cole then grabbed a piece of food off the buffet and ate it. "Mmm! Everything's better on a full stomach!" Cole said with a mouth full of food.

The man grabbed the piece of sushi Cole was going for and flung it across the room. Cole narrowed his bushy eyebrows.

"Hey! I was gonna eat that!" Cole hissed charging for the man. The man ran out the back door. The four element users chased after him, to find he had disappeared.

Lloyd pointed something out.

"Look!" he called and pointed to the wall of the dark alley outside the back of the restaurant.

A poster of Zane's face, along with some symbols had been hung up on the wall. A plate of fortune cookies rested on a stool beneath the poster.

"What does it say?" Jay asked as Lloyd took down the poster. Lloyd read the symbols and froze.

"It says... he's alive."

"I don't think those guys were trying to send a message to the restaurant. I think they were trying to send a message to us." Kai said.

"What do you mean, it says he's alive?" Jay asked.

"Hey, I'm just telling you what it says." Lloyd informed. "You know, this has to be some cruel joke and I'm not laughing." Cole said.

"Look I think this was meant for us, too." Lloyd said pointing to the fortune cookies.

"Fortune cookies? Very peculiar." Jay questioned.

"Should we?" Lloyd asked. Without hesitation, Cole took one, eating the whole thing in one bite. Grabbing one, Kai smirked.

"Uh, you do realize...there's a fortune inside, right?" he asked.

"Oh, so that's why they're called that!" Cole responded it was news to him.

"Listen to this," Lloyd said. "Master Chen has personally invited you to participate in his Tournament of Elements."

"Wait a minute? Are you saying that Mister Chen, the same guy filling my belly with delicious goodness, is actually Master Chen?" Cole asked.

"Secrecy is of the utmost importance," Kai read. "Tell no one, or suffer the consequences."

Jay read his, immediately after.

"If you ever wanna see your friend again, meet on the pier at midnight and leave your weapons behind."

The cookies disappeared into thin air once Jay's fortune had been read.

Cole's poofed away from inside of him and he burped out some mist. "At least I know I was invited." he joked, and they shared a laugh.

"You don't think-" Lloyd began. Kai interrupted him. "It could be a trap," Kai finished. "A lie, to lure us in."

"Yeah, but what if it's not?" Jay asked. "What if Zane's alive?"

"The Tournament of Elements," Lloyd repeated. "I'm starting to think this "Master Chen" makes more than noodles."

"You can forget about bringing in a new ninja, Lloyd. Let's go see about an old one." Kai said with a smile.

_____Timeskip____

The Ninja were looking around at everyone that had gathered at the docks as they stood in line waiting to board a large ship that had pulled up to the edge of the docks.

Kai's eyes fell on a particular girl who had her back to them and was discussing something off to the side with some of the staff of the ship.

Kai smiled once he got a good look at her and he suddenly went into some kind of love trance.

 Lloyd must have seen the expression on his face. "We can't let anything distract us. Right, Kai?" Lloyd asked.

Kai smiled like an idiot. Not that he wasn't one, to begin with, and shouted out. "Hey, (Y/N)! Can I get an autograph!"

(Y/N) bristled and turned around and spotting them (Y/N) stuck out her tongue at them and went back to talking with the staff Echo waved at them from atop a pile of musical instrument cases.

"What's she doing here, Is she entering the tournament?" Cole whispered just as the Ninja started to board the ship the ship. When Lloyd, heard a familiar voice called his name. He turned around.

Sensei Garmadon.

He had warned Lloyd not to trust Chen because Chen had always played tricks.

"I have to go, Dad. This is about Zane! It's about family." Lloyd said and boarded the ship, as his father watched.

"I can't leave you." Sensei Garmadon said. "But I can join you." he added, approaching the ferry. He attempted to step on, but two servants removed the entrance board. 

A greasy-looking middle-aged with black hair hissed bitterly at Sensei Garmadon in a low voice. "I'm sorry there's no room."

"I'm not here to compete, Clouse." Sensei Garmadon hissed back but before he could do anything. (Y/N) who was still on the docks with Echo and the Serpentine members of the Treble Makers shouted at him "What do you mean. No room!?"

Clouse looked over at (Y/N) about to explain when he got a good look at each member of the band and screamed in terror and launched not only himself but several other ship staff members off the ship in his panicked state.

The wooden entrance board fell back into place allowing them all on the ship.

"I guesssss there'sss room now." Lasha teased walking on board as (Y/N) and Chokun, Mezmo and Snappa burst into laughter as they boarded followed by Echo and Sensei Garmadon.

"You know that weird guy?" (Y/N) asked Sensei Garmadon as they both watched Clouse wearily past them on the ship.

"Don't be fooled by his attire. He is a Master of Dark Arts and Master Chen's number two." Sensei Garmadon warned. "(Y/N) I have to ask what are you doing here?" Sensei Garmadon questioned changing the subject.

"My band and I were hired to perform for a private concert to be held on Master Chen's island we were going to turn it down but they offered to fund the new orphan wing of the children hospital if we came." (Y/N) admitted.

"And your not one to turn your back on needy children." Sensei Garmadon pointed out. (Y/N) nodded. "We shouldn't of come by the looks of it, but I just keep second guessing myself so much lately that I gave into the others request to perform here." (Y/N) sighed.

"Looks like your boys are looking for you." (Y/N) said pointing out Lloyd and his team to him. "And it looks like yours are up to some mischief." Sensei Garmadon said pointing out Echo who was now walking across the roof and Mezmo who had hypnotised one of the staff to dance like a chicken.

"Dance of the chicken, dance of the chicken." The other three Serpentine chanted watching the man go.

"Still better than living with Ninja." (Y/N) says shrugging as she walking over to her team.

Sensei Garmadon only chuckled and walked over to his son.

_______Timeskip_______

It was taking a rather long time to get to Chen's Island and everyone was getting a little bored.

Like Kai, Karlof Elemental Master of Metal and Skylar Elemental Master of Amber who got into a three-way fight or Jacob Pevsner the current Elemental Master of Sound and Tox is the current Elemental Master of Poison were chatting to the members of Treble Makers.

Things were getting a little out of control Clouse watched as Neuro the current Elemental Master of Mind was playing with the still hypnotised member of his staff.

Clouse had one of the staff ask the Treble Makers play some songs for the unruly Elemental Masters just to get them to settle down.

"Any requestsss?" Chokun asked as the Treble Makers got ready to perform.

"Me! Play Ignite!" Skylor screamed from the back of the gathering crowd. People turned and looked at her. "What I'm a fan." She answered.

"Alright, Red you got it." (Y/N) said and the band began to play.

When (Y/N) finished singing, taking some deep breaths as the crowd and staff were cheering them on.

(Y/N) had the happiest smile on her face Kai had ever seen her have, Kai had to look away as he blushed.

When Kai finally looked back up at (Y/N). His expression wasn't hard to decipher. His face looked full of love.
