(Third Person P.O.V)

It was 4 a.m in the morning on the Destiny's Bounty an alarm clock was going off waking the ninja. Only Zane wasn't bothered by it.

Cole hit his head on the top bunk, causing Jay to falls out of the top bunk, Kai threw a rock at the clock, knocking it onto a gramophone, making the ringing worse, Lloyd had enough and used his energy power to destroy the clock.

The boys had spent last night trying to follow there new timeline up to current events.

"Is it morning Wednesday already?" Lloyd cried.

"Sunrise exorcise... I hate sunrise exorcise...!" Jay complained .

The Ninja's bedroom door opens and Sensei Wu walked in with some tea.

"Ah! Good morning. Morning, morning. Up, up. It's a new day, students." Sensei Wu says pulls some blinds open letting in some light.

"Before we begin sunrise exercise, I noticed the dragon made another mess outside. It looks like a two-person job." Sensei Wu chuckled as he leaves.

"Lloyd! I'm sure you and (Y/N) got this!" Kai says and they all leave Lloyd behind.

Lloyd went do the difficult task of waking (Y/N) from her slumber as the others went to grab some breakfast.

"Hey sis what are you doing up?" Kai said noticing his sister coming in to grab something to eat.

"I've been working on the Prophecy Scroll to be more accurate the part Zane couldn't translate about the grey ninja." Nya said with a yarn.

"What?" Jay asked rubbing his eyes that were still full of sleep.

"I totally forgot about that part." Cole points out. "Everyone was more interested in the green ninja." Zane answered.

"One ninja will rise above the others and become the green ninja. The green ninja destined to be the strongest ninja of them all destined to defeat the dark lord with the grey ninja ____ . I could not read the rest of those symbols." Zane said thinking back and quoting his translation of the text.

"Exactly we only have half of the puzzle solved." Nya pointed out. "Want some help sis, we've got some time before sunrise exercise thanks to Lloyd." Kai offered.

"Couldn't hurt." Nya sighed taking her brother up on his offer.

The Ninja joined Nya and gathered around the Prophecy Scroll.

"This is what I found so far." Nya explained pointing out some symbols this means 'Force' and this one means 'Good' and this one means 'Evil'

"But what I found a hint lower down in the scroll connected to the grey ninja but its some type of riddle." Nya informed the four of them showing them what she had found.

"How do you know that?" Kai asked. "Zane can you translate for my brother." Nya asked and Zane nodded.

"-- Known by many names; known for many uses. Impossible to predict or direct, flowing free from the seal of fate with reckless abandon."

"In the realm of bright white good and pitch black evil, it is every shade of grey. A force for good or ill, but never shall it be controlled."

"A saving grace in your darkest hour or harbinger of your untimely doom.--" Zane translated for his brothers and Nya.

"Spooky." Kai said looking to Nya.

"I'm thinking so much I think my brain will explode!" Jay complained.

"I don't get it?" Cole admits. "Don't feel bad neither did I." Nya confessed with a sigh.

Zane was writing down the clues on a spare scrap of paper.

___Timeskip___

Lloyd was wearing glasses and holding a bag as big as himself.

"Ugh! why do they always dump chores on me? It's not fair!" Lloyd hissed.

"Didn't you once say fair isn't a word from where you come from." (Y/N) answered holding up Kai's pillow-case shovelling Dragon-mess inside it.

(Y/N) spotted the Ninja coming to mess with them and slid the pillowcases behind the pile to hide it.

"I always have to do the dirty work." Lloyd continued to complained not even noticing what (Y/N) was up to.

"Hey! Having a pet dragon is a lot of responsibility." Cole said walking up to him.

"Didn't your mum ever let you have a pet?" Jay asked.

"My mother abandoned me when I was really young." Lloyd said busying himself in the cleaning not wanting to say more.

"She just... left? Who took care of you?" Kai asked (Y/N) gave Lloyd a hug.

"I spent my whole life at Darkly's boarding school and on the street till I found (Y/N)..."

The sound of an alarm broke the tense air and Nya came sliding down from the chain of the anchor.

"Hey! I have a mission for you guys! It's the museum of history, they've asked for you guys! Something really strange has happened." Nya orders. 

"What!?" Kai asked.

"You have to see it to believe it!" Nya replied.

"Here Nya, Hold this." Lloyd says and hands her the bag and the glasses he held. Then he ran after the ninja.

"Wait a minute! What am I supposed to do with these!?" Nya call after. The dragon looks at her. "Oh..." She held the bag away from herself. "Just leave it till we get back." (Y/N) ordered she had a plan.

___Timeskip___

The team reached the museum along with Sensei Wu. The owner of the place immediately approached them pleading for help.

"Oh! Thank heaven you are here!" He says.

"We heard there was an emergency." Sensei Wu says looking around.

"Yes. Come, come! This way!" they followed him as he leads them through a corridor. "The stone warrior exhibition opens to the public tonight. And this couldn't have come a worse time!" The owner cried.

"Uh... what couldn't have come at a worse time?" Kai questioned.

"Ninjago City appreciates your help with destroying the Great Devourer. But it appears its poison has sipped into the city's sewage system. And it had the most unusual after effect." The owner of the museum said as he opened a door to reveal a room full of toys running around.

"The venom seems to have somehow brought our Merchandise to life! And they're so unruly! I didn't know who else to call!" The museum owner cried.

One toy jumped up on Kai's head and hit him in the face. (Y/N) laughed and Kai crushes it.

"We've got this cover. I think we can handle a few toys." Jay says confidently. 

"And please, would you keep the fight in the gift shop. The doors to the exhibition are new. Thank you!" He closed the doors as he left.

The Ninja set to work beating the stone warrior toys. (Y/N) studied one she had souped up as some of them cornered Lloyd and tied to drop a statue on his head.

"Stupid little guys!" Lloyd muttered and crushed them.

The stone warrior toys dumped a bottle of small balls onto the ground so that Cole and Kai fall over.

"Alright! Playtime's over!" Kai shouted. "Ninja go!" and used his Spinjitzu to crush the toys.

The other Ninja followed suit "Ninja! GO!" they shouted and also used their spinjitzu.

When they finished they were meet with a smiling (Y/N), "Oh," Jay said realising what she was smiling about the boys had just completely trashed the room, everything was broken.

"Uh..." Cole started looking around. "Oops..." Kai finished for him.

The stone warrior toy in (Y/N)'s hands lept out of her grasp and made a run for it.

"After it!" Lloyd shouted as it escaped and left through the door. Sensei Wu began to chase after it.

The group followed after him and didn't see Sensei Wu again till he repaired with a woman with long grey hair in a braid.

"Ahem! So... are you gonna introduce us?" Jay coughed noticing the stunned look on Sensei Wu's face.

"Ahem! Uh... yes...er... This is Misako... Lloyd's mother." Sensei Wu struggled to say.

There was a collective gasp by the group and (Y/N) looked at Lloyd as Lloyd chocked out. "My... my mother!?"

"Lloyd...? My little boy... You're so much bigger than I remember..." Misako says walk over to Lloyd.

Lloyd tensed up there was a dark look on his face as Misako went to touch him Lloyd slapped her arm away.

"I didn't want us to meet like this son,... I have a reason why I've been away." Misako tries to excuse herself from being absent from Lloyd's life but Lloyd cut her off.

"I don't want to hear your lies!" Lloyd shouted with such venom in his voice that Misako took a few steps back. "(Y/N), we're leaving." Lloyd declared grabbing (Y/N) by the arm and taking her with him as he walks away.

"Lloyd, please!" Misako calls out, but Lloyd closes a door behind him taking (Y/N) with him.

"Son! Son! She's been gone my whole life! She's no mother of mine." Lloyd growled his grip on (Y/N) tightened.

(Y/N) didn't say a word and let Lloyd get his feelings out.

_____Timeskip_____

(Y/N) and Lloyd arrived back at the Bounty in record time Lloyd was still fuming and was now screaming down the ship. (Y/N) explained to Nya what had happened on the mission.

Nya and (Y/N) were at a loss on what to do. Lloyd had begun breaking training equipment. "Just go back to whatever you were working on. He needs to let this out." (Y/N) told Nya as she walked away.

"Where are you going?" Nya asked as (Y/N) walked away. "I'm going to finish cleaning up with the Dragon; it's not far that only Lloyd has a shitty day." (Y/N) said climbing down the chain.

_____Timeskip_____

It wasn't in till much later that Sensei Wu and the Ninja's returned to the Bounty.

Nya had prepared dinner for them all. "Where have you guys been?" Nya asked looking at them all.

"Fighting... a giant.... samurai.... stone warrior!" Jay cried collapsing onto the deck.

"After Lloyd left with (Y/N) and actual stone warrior appeared and attacked us." Cole filled Nya in.

"We managed to destroy it by getting it to fall into a bottomless sinkhole." Sensei Wu said going for his tea.

"Wait? Where are (Y/N) and Lloyd?" Kai questioned looking around.

"(Y/N) cleaned up after the Dragon while Lloyd proceeded to scream and brake all the training equipment he could punch or kick." Nya said sadly Lloyd had not taken meeting his mother well.

The Ninja said nothing. "Where is my son, now?" Misako asked climbing up the chain.

"Misako. I fear you have come for a visit at a bad time." Sensei Wu warned.

Nya being smart said. "I'm not getting involved." and walked off to find anything to do.

"I'm going to join my sister." Kai said bolting off after her to get out of the awkwardness that was filling the Bounty. "Nya! Wait up!"

"Wait for us too." Jay shouted out going after Kai with Cole. Zane turned to Sensei Wu and bowed and went after his brothers.

(Lloyd and (Y/N) P.O.V)

Lloyd was in (Y/N)'s room sobbing into her arms. (Y/N) soothing down his hair. "I'm here Lloyd." (Y/N) repeat trying to hug away his pain.

Lloyd's words had devolved into incomprehensible cries of pains at this point.

"Oh, Lloyd... If I could take away your pain I would." (Y/N) said cuddling him closer.

(Jay and Cole P.O.V)

Jay and Cole were half-heartedly playing video games Cole kept looking out into the hall to see if Lloyd was going to come out of (Y/N)'s room or not.

Jay wasn't even holding the controller he was looking at the phone (Y/N) had given him with the photo's on it and sighing depressively.

"I think I'm that depressed right now. I'm actually hoping my parents will ring soon." Jay said out loud.

Cole just grunted in agreement.

"Do you think Lloyd will be ok? this is messing with him really hard." Cole asked looking back to the hallway again.

"I mean he trashed all of our training equipment. I even heard Nya telling Kai that Lloyd went into a screaming fit and wouldn't stop." Cole continued.

Jay wasn't even listening his heart was just too heavy right now. "I wonder what (Y/N)'s doing right now?" Jay said out loud again to himself.

"Right now keeping Lloyd sane... I don't even think they know that Lloyd's mum is on board yet and I'm not going to tell them." Cole said to Jay thinking Jay was talking to him.

Jay let out a heavy sigh. "I hate this." He groaned coving his eyes with his hands. wishing he could stop torturing himself.

A horrible odour filled the air and Kai walked past the open door with all their pillows.

"Kai where are you going with all of our pillows?" Cole questioned. "Guess what (Y/N) did with the Dragon dropping from this morning." Kai hissed sarcastically and walked off to throw the pillows overboard.

(Kai's and Nya's P.O.V)

Nya caught up to her brother as he finished throwing the pillows away.

It was hard to see him like this sometimes when it came to (Y/N). Nya understood that her brother didn't remember everything thanks to Lord Garmadon messing with time.

She often wondered if Kai and (Y/N) would have gotten together if Lord Garmadon hadn't interfered with the past.

Nya knew that (Y/N) had a list of things that she had to make sure that happened for the future, and her and Kai staying enemies had been on that list. Nya secretly wished that Zane hadn't mentioned that to her during the ninja's time-travel adventure.

If (Y/N) didn't think she had to keep it that way then maybe... Nya knew her brother better than anyone when he thought no one was watching he would look over at (Y/N) and give her this painfilled lovelorn look.

Her brother was in love and she knew that (Y/N) could make him so happy. Nya hadn't seen her brother truly happy since their parents had passed.

What Nya wouldn't give have her brother be as happy with (Y/N), as Jay made her.

Kai spotted his sister. "Oh, Hey Nya I thought you and Zane were still working on that scroll question." Kai said walking up to his little sister.

"Taking a break. Why were you throwing away everyone's pillows?" Nya questioned.

"(Y/N) put dragon droppings inside of them." Kai hissed and went to wash his hands Nya followed after her big brother.

"Um,... Kai do you think that if Zane hadn't told (Y/N) that you and she were enemies and she didn't do all the stuff she does because of it... Could the two of you...Um..." Nya was struggling to get the words out to her brother.

"The two of could what?" Kai asked as he finished washing his hands. "Could have become... Friends?" Nya said kicking herself for being too cowardly to say what she really wanted to say to him.

"Nya, She hates my guts. When you got kidnapped the first time I blamed her for that and attacked her." Kai points out to his little sister. "I know you want everyone to get along and be happy sis, but I don't see her doing that happening she's not the forgiving type."

"And if anyone should be worried about that right now, it's not me. It's Mrs Garmadon. If Lloyd asks (Y/N) to she'd beat the daylights out of Lloyd's mum." Kai said stepping out of the bathroom.

"Nya do the smart thing right now and just keep your head down. Like everyone else right now, ok little sis?" Kai questioned going to the hall closet and pulling out some spare pillows for him and his brothers.

Nya let out a sigh and gave up for now. Kai let out a sigh of relief and went back to his shared bedroom and dumped everyone's pillows back on their beds.

Kai climbed up on his bed. He wasn't a complete idiot he knew what his little sister was hinting at.

He had found evidence the night they got back from their time-travel adventure.

He just didn't say anything, Just like how Jay and Nya were dating in this timeline the 'him' of this timeline was secretly in love with (Y/N).

He'd found that he'd carved his initials and her name with a + sign between them caved into the corner of his wooden bedpost.

Kai even found himself wondering if (Y/N) would have given him a chance to win her heart if Zane hadn't told her about them being enemies and had just left that part out.

Kai let out a frustrated yell into his new pillow. Why did he have to keep reminding himself of his mistakes?

(Zane P.O.V)

I quietly knocked on (Y/N)'s door and patiently wait for her to answer. "Who is it!?" (Y/N) demanded fiercely from the other side of the door.

"It is only I, Zane." I answered politely. I know Lloyd is inside seeking comfort from his protector.

"Zane, I'm sorry but I'm needed here right now unless it is an emergency, I can't help you right now." (Y/N)'s voice softened when she realised it was only me.

"I understand that (Y/N) but I must warn you that Mrs Garmadon has come on board uninvited for a visit. I believe you would wish to be forewarned of this." I finished there was nothing but silence.

"Zane. That's what I like about you, You're honest and smart enough to tell me the truth no matter what." (Y/N) called out to me.

I felt my cheeks heat up at (Y/N) say that she Like something about me.

"Thank you for your kind words (Y/N). Is there anything you or Lloyd require?" I asked trying to keep my voice steady.

"If you could get Lloyd pillow and blanket for me he's sleeping in here tonight that would be a big help... Oh and Zane thank you." (Y/N) answered back from her side of the door.

I felt my cheeks heat up again and went to fetch Lloyd's pillows.

I don't know if my brothers know this or not but things have greatly improved between Miss (Y/N) and myself in our new timeline.

Her voice is softer when she speaks to me, her (E/C) eyes shine just a little bit more when she only looking at me, She's even more relaxed around me and I dare to say it, she trusts me which is something I haven't seen anyone on the Bounty do.

Telling her the truth was definitely the right thing to do.

I return back to (Y/N)'s bedroom door knocking and announcing my presence.

The door opened there was (Y/N). She looks at me with a soft smile and I feel my system speed up.

These are the times where I find her the prettiest when she is calm and peaceful not having to protect herself from the world.

"Thank you, Zane. I'm glad I can trust you." (Y/N) said taking Lloyd's pillow and blanket gently from me.

Her voice is the sweetest at these times as well. I sometimes wish she could be this way with me forever.

I say goodnight to her and Lloyd and she wishes me the same. I let out a content sigh. Honesty was definitely the right way to go.

(Misako and Sensei Wu P.O.V)

"Wu, who was that girl that my son made go with him?" Misako asked Sensei Wu.

Sensei Wu took a big sip of his tea. "Misako to be honest not even she knows who she is. But I can tell she is called (Y/N) and has looked after Lloyd like he was her own little brother by blood."

"Do you know anything else?" Misako pressed.

"Lloyd is quite fond of her seeing her like a protector. You must be weary Misako if she perceives you to be a threat to Lloyd she will defend him, she does not listen to my students and I we may not be able to protect you from her if Lloyd wishes you harm." Sensei Wu warned offering Misako some tea.

"I see... She teats him well though doesn't she?" Misako questioned taking the tea that was offered to her.

"Yes, (Y/N) treats Lloyd very well. Supports him in all of his choices, bad or good." Sensei Wu chuckled.

"He got into quite a lot of mischief in his younger days but she was there to protect him, even from himself sometimes." Sensei Wu and Misako spent the night talking away about Lloyd and all of his students.
