(Y/N) was hanging back just waiting for the Bounty to dock at some point she could depart and begin her quest to discover where she came from.

The Ninja's were distracting Lloyd with training that Sensei Wu was supervising right now.

"Your new body is a fighting instrument." Sensei Wu said. "Listen to it."

Cole swung his scythe and Lloyd easily dodged it by kicking him. Grabbing Jay's nunchucks, he flung him over to the other side of the room.

Zane threw his stars and they hit Nya's watermelon. They were going to have that for a snack afterwards.

It all ended when Lloyd fell for Kai's sword trick. He chuckled. "Getting pretty good, but that move was basic 101."

Sensei Wu nodded. "Again. And this time, do not hold back."

Zane's falcon returned.

"The falcon has returned with troubling news. What did you see my mechanical feathered friend?" Zane asked.

The Falcon's surveillance discoveries begin playing on the Bounty's screen.

"The lost city of Ouroboros?" Kai questioned. "What are they doing there."

"Preparing for a final battle." Sensei Wu said. "Nya, change course. We'll head straight for them." The Bounty turned quickly as evening turned to night.

"(Y/N) join us for a 'goodbye' final battle?" Lloyd pleaded to (Y/N) as they got ready.

"Fine. One goodbye battle that it." (Y/N) said ruffling his blond hair. (Y/N) though hopefully, Lloyd won't make a scene when she left after this battle if she helps fight it.

The anchor dropped and the group snuck through the city.

_____Timeskip_____

"Ninja-go!" Sensei Wu said appearing in front of his brother. "Wu...Oh brother." Lord Garmadon mumbled.

The rest of us jumped into sight, weapons out and ready to fight. "Bring it on, fools!" Lord Garmadon mocks.

Lloyd froze the mega weapon and stood before his father. "Lloyd, is that you?"

"Yeah. I've grown a little since you last saw me." Lloyd taunted. In shock, Lord Garmadon ran off, leaving just a few Serpentine to fight the Ninja.

Before anyone could even begin to duel, a hissing sound was heard and the city of Ouroboros started to fill with sand.

"Over there!" Nya says kicking the door open. "Oh great. He used the Mega Weapon again!" Cole lamented.

"Swell! Every time he uses it, something really bad happens. Now, what!?" Jay complained.

"The city is returning into the desert. As if it never been found in the first place." Zane says.

"What!? What does that mean!?" Kai exclaimed.

The air starts to make strange ticking noises. "I...can't...I can't feel my hands..." Lloyd said stuck in place.

"I...can't...feel my feet..." (Y/N) says trying to walk over to Lloyd but was unable to move.

"It means Garmadon is going back to make sure that Lloyd never becomes the green ninja!" Zane theorised.

Everyone stares at the swirling vortex in front of them. "If he changes anything he changes everything." Sensei Wu said cryptically

(Y/N) rolled her eyes now was not the time to be cryptic.

"Protect the future ninja." Sensei Wu orders and the ninja jump in.

___Time Travel ____

The four ninja were swirling around in a tornado of colours then spat out into a puddle of mud.

"Eww!" The four Ninja complained.

"Remind me to pack a helmet next time we time travel." Jay says.

"Where are we?" Cole says looking around. "You mean when are we?" Zane corrected him. Kai looked up.

"Four weapons. My parent's shop! Nya and I used to work there. Wait a minute... This is the day that Garmadon ordered The skeleton to take my sister!" Kai shouted recognising where he was.

"We need to warn them!" Kai exclaimed. "You heard what sensei wu, said! If we change anything, we change everything." Cole says stopping Kai.

"Yeah, I was confused by that too." Jay questioned still trying to get rid of some mud.

"What he means is that our world is the results of events that have already happened. If whatever events fail to happen, then the future could radically change." Zane informs his brothers.

"Um... So what you are saying is that we have to stop Garmadon from changing anything. But of all times, why would we land here?" Jay questioned.

"Because this is where it all started. The first time I met Sensei Wu and began my training as a ninja. Somehow Garmadon is going try to prevent that! But how!?" Kai said out loud

"If only Sensei were here to guide us!" Cole sighed. "Oh! Look! There he is!" Jay gasped pointing at the man.

"We've gotta tell him what Garmadon's done!" Cole says.

"But we can't let the Past Nya and Past Kai see that we've talked to him. Or else it WILL affect the future." Zane says.

"Hm... I know exactly what to do!" Kai says confidently.

They run after Sensei Wu hiding behind stones until they reached the shop.

"The shop is called four weapons. Not four browsing. Either buy something and go peddle your insults somewhere else." The Past Kai hissed to the Past Sensei Wu.

"Too bad. Thought I'd find something special here." The Past Sensei Wu says and walks out.

The ninja were hiding behind a corner and when Past Sensei Wu came pass, Kai came from behind him and covered his mouth.

"Sensei, we need your help." Kai said and let go of him.

"Whoa, whoa whoa! Wait a minute! If we're trying Garmadon from changing anything, wouldn't talking to sensei kinda be like altering the past thus changing our future?" Jay says, talking really fast.

"That would be correct. I believe a big Uh-oh is in order." Zane agrees.

"Uh..." Past Sensei Wu said not understanding what we were talking about.

"We, should have thought of that earlier, maybe?" Cole says shaking his head.

"But we can't undo what we've done." Kai says panicking.

"Yeah, yeah. Sensei! We really need your help!" Kai says.

"Uh... All four of you..." Past Sensei Wu said sounding to be in shock.

"Traveled back in time to warn you from bending doom." Cole warned.

"Yeah, but we don't have time to explain. Can you help us?" Kai rushed.

"I... don't understand... but I can try." Past Sensei Wu offers.

"Okay. Any moment now, skeletons are gonna attack. And we think Garmadon will try to hurt me. I-I mean the past me." Kai says.

"Garmadon?" Past Sensei Wu repeated.

"We have to do everything to protect my past self." Kai finished.

From the horizon, a black cloud come from the hills. Sensei Wu was about to go over there but Kai stopped him. The Past Kai walked out in a metal samurai helmet with matching armour to fighting the skeletons.

"Oh that's right, (Y/N) I totally forgot she arrives with the skeletons." Kai said slapping his forehead.

"Someone else we must not be seen by." Zane stresses.

Colours flashed in the sky as a vortex spat out a familiar being in a familiar grey cloak.

The Ninja's had to stand back and watch as (Y/N) stumbled trying to find her footing completely disorientated.

"I do not believe she is with the Skulkin." Zane pointed out to Kai who rubbed the back of his neck.

Samukai shouted out. "Lord Garmadon says take the girl!"

Past Kai grabbed the front of the disorientated Past (Y/N)'s grey cloak and hurled her backwards into two skeletons one with a helmet and one without.

Cole Zane and Jay gave Kai looks and Kai just continued to rub the back of his head having to sit through this uncomfortable blast from the past.

Past Kai points the sword he's holding right at Past (Y/N) as the horde of skeletons on motorcycles laughed.

"I now see why she did what she did." Kai said quietly as Past (Y/N) began her attack on Past Kai.

Past (Y/N) lunged into Past Kai as hard as she could and the brawl was on.

"Can we help fight?" Cole questions Past Sensei Wu.

"Don't look at me. I'm wise, but, not that wise." Past Sensei Wu says in defence.

"Since the past already been altered, I don't see why we can't fight just a few skeletons. As long as we're not seen." Zane theorised.

"Ha! You  just made my day!" Jay says leaping into battle. "I've missed beating these guys up." Jay shouted swinging his nunchucks.

"Samukai. And don't forget to save me!" Kai says shoving Past Sensei Wu into the fight. "It'll all make sense when it happens." 

"Kai!" Past Nya shouted out running over to her brother with a staff in hand.

Past (Y/N) didn't seem to care and was to busy planting her fist into his face as Past Kai shouted back to Past Nya.

Past Sensei Wu shouted "Ninja GO!" forming his golden tornado and hit Past Samukai around a little before stopping.

"Wu! Your Spinjitzu looks rusty!" Past Samukai spat.

"Nothing like bone to sharpen its edge, Samukai!" Past Sensei Wu teased.

Past (Y/N) continued to grapple with Past Kai completely unaware of the madness going on around her.

Past Samukai laughed and threw his daggers towards the water tower. It hits the leg and breaks. Making it fall down towards Past Kai and Past (Y/N). Past Sensei Wu uses spinjitzu again and saves the brawling pair.

All three landed in a chaotic pile.

A huge skeleton truck with skeleton claw fire at Past Nya. Lord Garmadon hit the skeleton, causing the skeleton claw to miss Past Nya on purpose.

One skeleton spotted Kai and Past Kai standing near each other as the army was leaving. The skeleton scratched his skull thinking he had a problem with his eyes socket.

Past (Y/N) slowly stood up, cracking her body back into place and surveying her new surroundings as Past Kai and Past Nya hug.

"Oh... This isn't good..." Kai says.

"Why? We saved you and your sister." Past Sensei Wu questioned.

"The skeletons were 'supposed' to get away with Nya! The only way you convince me to become a ninja in the first place was to get her back!" Kai panicked.

"Oh... I see..." Past Sensei Wu says.

"Sensei! No matter what. You need to convince Kai to go with you!" Zane pleads.

"If you don't the world as we know it, won't exist. The four of us will never unite!, (Y/N) will never meet Lloyd, and protect him and we'll never train Lloyd and to become the green ninja."

Jay and Cole looked like they are about to panic. The Ninjas see Past Kai heading there way and hide.

"Thank you for your help! If it wasn't for your twistitzu or your tornadzu. My sister might have been taken." The Past Kai says politely. causing the ninja to look at Kai like he was from another planet.

"It's called Spinjitzu. But... come, we must train. You must become a ninja." Past Sensei Wu says.

"Sorry. But I have a blacksmith shop to get back on its feet." Past Kai says.

"No. Uh...You must come. It's very important that you become a ninja. Because... We need to harness the fire within you." Past Sensei Wu declared trying hard to sound confident.

"Hold on Kai. Maybe there's a reason this man came into our lives. Father always said the world work in mysterious ways. I think it sounds kinda exciting!" Past Nya exclaimed.

"Okay, if you wanna become a ninja, fine by me. But I'm only going cause you want to." Past Kai says.

"Oh great! He's going! We saved the future!" Jay exclaim.

"Not so fast. We still need to make sure he becomes a ninja for everything to come back on track." Zane warned.

"Wait? What happened to the girl you were fighting with, Kai?" Past Nya questioned looking around for Past (Y/N).

The Ninja looked at their Kai for answers Kai had begrudgingly admit that after the skeleton took Nya he confronted (Y/N) who proceed to headbutted unconscious.

Zane and Cole shook their head in disappointment at him. Jay was suppressing a laugh.

Past (Y/N) was busy inspecting a sleek, one-person motorcycle with a skull motif on the front.

(Y/N) picked the motorcycle up off the ground and started her up.

Unfortunately, the noise immediately drew the attention of Past Kai, Past Nya and Past Sensei Wu.

Past Nya called out to her. "Hey, wait." Past (Y/N) looked over but saw not only Past Nya, Past Kai and Past Sensei Wu but the future Ninja themselves.

Past (Y/N) had no idea who those people were and just stuck her tongue out at all seven of them and speed away from the shop in the opposite direction to where she should have gone.

 "Oh... That isn't good..." Kai says. "Why?" Jay questioned.

"After I came to I chased after her but she went the opposite way to where she's heading now." Kai pointed out.

"We'll split up Zane and Jay will go after Past (Y/N) while Kai and I will follow Past Kai." Cole ordered.

Why? Kai questioned the pairing. "Of course (Y/N) is supposed to eventually makes her way to my parent's junkyard." Jay pointed out.

"Text each other our progress." Cole ordered as he and Kai left to follow Past Kai.

(Kai and Cole P.O.V)

Kai and Cole were hiding on the roof of the monastery. watching as Past Nya was running on a wheel aceing it all the way. But Past Kai was faking interest in a punching bag. He looked like he couldn't care less to be there.

"You must harness the fire inside you." Past Sensei Wu says to him.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." Past Kai muttered.

"I'm worthless!" Kai complained in shame of himself.

"It's like you don't even want to be a ninja!" Cole points out.

"I told you. The only reason I became a ninja was to get my sister back." Kai sighed.

"Even when Garmadon does something good, it's always evil." Cole sighed as well.

"How are the others doing?" Kai asked in desperation hoping for some good news. Cole looked at his phone. "They still haven't found (Y/N) yet." Cole reported.

Cole and Kai let out a collective sigh and watched as Past Kai sits down on some training stocks ignoring Past Sensei Wu.

"Sensei isn't cutting the mustard. It's up to us to get things back on track." Cole says sadly.

"I thought you said to not get involved. Change anything, change everything." Kai pointed out.

"That was before Garmadon altered the past and changed the future! Now we gotta clean up the mess." Cole counted. "The Only way  for us to save our future is for your past self to find his fire."

"I've got an idea how to talk some sense into myself." Kai suggests.

(Jay and Zane P.O.V)

Jay and Zane were having even less luck in tracking down Past (Y/N) and were now staking out Jay's parent's junkyard.

"Any luck?" Jay asked hopefully. "Negative. Kai and Cole have not succeeded yet either." Zane informed him.

Jay let out a frustrated sigh. It was getting dark both head back to the small camp they had set up behind some large boulders.

"Zane? everything will be ok won't it?" Jay asked laying down on a blanket he had 'borrowed' from his parent's house.

"I am positive we will work out a solution." Zane said trying to comfort Jay.

while the pair were trying to settle down for the night as well as comfort one and other.

They missed a certain girl making her way through the endless Sea of Sand towards the Junkyard.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Zane and Jay were awakened the next morning by Past Ed and Edna rather loud discovery the next morning.

"Edna! Call Jay! Something's broken in!" Jay could hear his father shouting for his wife.

Jay and Zane headed in travelling by the shadows till they spotted Past Ed and Edna Walker staring down the rather large mysterious hole in the yard.

Zane and Jay made their way to the top of a rather high pile of scrap to watch what was taking place beneath them.

It was Past (Y/N) sleeping in the dirt hugging Past Ed's favourite shovel like a teddy bear. "Aww!" Past Ed said signalling for his wife to come over and see for herself. "Ooohh! Looks like we have a visitor!" Past Edna says with a smile.

Jay pulled out his phone and started to record the cute seen unravelling before them.

Past (Y/N) was cold, hungry, her aching body, and she staggered a bit trying to regain her footing down in the hole. 

Past (Y/N) Looking up at the sound of giggling her sore face covered in a gross mixture of blood, sweat and dirt.

Past Ed and Edna gasped as the sight. "Oh Ed, look at her she's hurt." Past Edna gasped as she got a good look at your face.

Jay lowered his camera with a genuine look of remorsefulness on his face. Zane was clutching at his gi

Zane and Jay gave each other looks. 'Was she hurt by Garmadon during her encounter or was she hurt when she arrived?'

"Do you need help?" Past Ed asked holding out his hand to Past (Y/N) who shook her head, refusing the old man's hand up and pulled yourself up out of the pit she had dug.

"I am Ed and this is my lovely wife Edna." Past Ed said introduced himself and his wife. "Oh, Ed." Past Edna giggled patting her husband on the back.

"Ooohh! And who are you? You're so cute!" Past Edna says to Past (Y/N). "I don't know." Past (Y/N) admit her voice was very quiet.

"Oh... I suppose we could give you..." Past Ed says slowing down at the last part. "How about (Y/N)!" Past Ed and Edna exclaimed together.

Past (Y/N) just give an indifferent shrug and kept glancing at the ground unsure of what to do.

"When no one is around to antagonise her I forget how fragile she really is." Zane regretfully admits. Jay felt absolutely guilty as he watched his parents continue.

Past Edna pulled out a rag from her back pocket and went to clean Past (Y/N) face Past (Y/N) flinched at the contact as Past Edna soothing coos at her.

"Poor thing." Past Ed commented with a sad smile. "It's alright dear. No one will hurt you." Past Edna says trying to comfort Past (Y/N). "

"Edna's right dear, You have nothing to fear we have our own security system to ward off intruders. We built it ourselves." Past Ed announced proudly puffing out his chest.

Just as Past Ed had finished saying that Jay and Zane came tumbling down the pile of Junk. Landing striate in front of Past Ed, Past Edna and Past (Y/N).

"Um... Hi Mum, Hi Dad." Jay said with a strained smile.
