The remaining Ninjas helplessly watched as Kai, Nya and Wu followed the Time Twins into the temporal vortex.

"Kai! Nya! Come back! Kai! Nya!" Jay loudly sobs. "Why'd they risk their lives to go after Krux and Acronix?"

"It was the only way to save Wu." Ray said weakly. "Oh, okay. I'm good with it. Hey, wait a sec. Who are you? And how do you know that?" Jay questioned the pair.

"I'm Maya. And this is Ray. We are-" Maya started to say. "Kai and Nya's parents. We saw your portrait at the museum." Lloyd explained how he knew.

"Krux and Acronix travelled back in time with the Reversal Time Blade, so our children had to follow." Ray explained to the ninjas.

"Why?" Jay asked incredulously. "Only that Blade can undo the effect of the Time Punch on Master Wu. They are his last hope." Maya responded.

"Master Wu is with them?" Lloyd asked. Maya nodded. "We have to go help. We just need a time machine. You can build another one, right?" Cole asked Cyrus Borg.

"I can't." Cyrus said, shaking his head in defeat. It simply wasn't possible.

"No Time Blades, no time travel. I'm afraid there is nothing to do but wait and hope Kai and Nya return." Maya said. "Kai and Nya truly are Master Wu's last hope."

"Not just his. All of Ninjag-" Ray coughs. "Ray. What is it?" Maya asks her husband.

"On the ship, when Acronix hit me, he was holding a Time Blade and something happened." Ray wheezed. Zane quickly scans him. "Accelerated physical deterioration, rapid loss of life function. You've been hit with a Time Punch, too." Zane reports.

"And there's no cure." Lloyd stated. "Wait. You said the Reversal Blade can undo it on Master Wu. Would that work for you, too?" Cole asked the ailing man.

"Only if our children retrieve it and return in time." Ray coughed.

(Third Person P.O.V)

____ Ninjago ____

The Time Twins continue their voyage inside the vortex aboard the Iron Doom. Krux's forty-years of preparation were soon about to pay off.

"Ah. The majesty of time travel." Acronix said, taking a picture of the time vortex with his BorgPad. "Hmm, not really capturing the majesty. Maybe a different filter?"

Krux grabs the BorgPad and throws it aside. "Ugh. Put that away. We're approaching our temporal destination. Prepare your troops, Supreme Commander." Krux shouts.

"My pleasure." Supreme Commander Machia stated and the three Vermillion generals left the cockpit.

"Ancient Ninjago. Before technology corrupted her. Decades of preparation will finally pay off. The battle will be refought." Krux gloats to Acronix as he pouts a little about his BorgPad.

"This time, no one can stop us." Acronix said, completely unaware Kai and Nya are hiding aboard with a sleeping Wu in a nearby compartment observing the two.

"Yeah? I'll show him no one." Kai declared about to jump out of his hiding place. "No. To save Master Wu, we can't blow our cover. We have to wait for the exact right time." Nya said, stopping her brother.

"Okay. The battle will be refought. What do you think that means?" Kai asked his sister. The Iron Doom begins to shake violently. "I think we're about to find out. Nya said, nodding towards the window.

Just as the past Elemental Masters restrained the past Hands of Time, and were sucked into the vortex. The Iron Doom landing in front of the Monastery of Spinjitzu and the Hands of Time of the present stepped out.

"They look confident. Overly so." Acronix sneered at the shell-shocked Past Elemental Masters. Kai and Nya exit from their hiding place and observe from the cockpit of the Iron Doom.

"Heya, Ice, am I seeing things or are those the guys we just beat? And a new girl?" The Past Master of Lightning asked, rubbing her eyes in disbelief.

"Indeed they are, Lightning." Past Master of Ice said reassuring her that she wasn't seeing things.

"Why, yes, we are." Krux said with a smirk. "But allow us to introduce our little guest here." Acronix said allowing (Y/N) to step forward.

If the Elemental Masters of the Past were not shocked enough by their old rivals entrance, they were all stunned when they saw (Y/N). The Elemental Masters of the Past all focus on (Y/N). They all looked incredibly puzzled by her involvement in this.

"She agreed to stay out of our way if we agreed to stay out of hers. Now because of her continued cooperation, we were kind enough to give her a lift. She wants to speak to one of you about something very important before this starts. So don't disappoint." Acronix cackled to the Elemental Masters of the Past.

"Which one of you is the Elemental Master of Earth." (Y/N) asked, her tone of voice was harsh enough that Not one person there could determine if she honestly meant it or not. But those who had even a bit of self-preservation decided they should be a little afraid of this newcomer. It was clear they had made the right choice when she smirked at them all, a nasty glinting in her eyes.

The Elemental Masters all looked at each other before looking at a man dress in grey and a strange brown helmet stepped forward.

"That would be me." The Past Elemental Master of Earth acknowledged.

Kai and Nya share a look of confusion from within the cockpit of the Iron Doom. "That's Cole's ancestor." Nya whispered to her brother. "Why would (Y/N) go through all this to talk to him?" Kai whispered back.

"It's so good to meet you." (Y/N) said, keeping her face neutral while simultaneously staring daggers at anyone who seemed like they would try to talk to her that wasn't who she was here to see.

"You were the only witness to the crime that started this war." (Y/N) calmly stated. The Past Elemental Master of Earth's eyes went wide. "H-how do you know that?" The Past Elemental Master of Earth demanded with a shaky voice.

(Y/N) coldly smirked at the man. "I did my research." (Y/N) stated, smirking as everyone tried to process what she'd just said.

"That explains why she was buried so deep in her work, researching everything she could find in all those books and adding it to her notes." Nya said out loud to herself. Kai silently shushed his sister.

"There were four people there that day." (Y/N) continued to speak in front of the stunned crowd.

"Eris." (Y/N) listed off. The Past Elemental Master of Earth's eyes went wider at the mention of that name. There was even some murmuring from the Past Elemental Masters.

"Hela." (Y/N) continued to list off with no love or sweetness in her voice. The Past Elemental Master of Earth shrank at the mention of the child's name. His own thoughts on his daughter Lilly.

"Eris' killer." (Y/N) listed off. The Past Elemental Master of Earth's started to shake nervously. Fear evident in his eyes.

"And you... The only witness." (Y/N) said with a hard certainty as she finished listing off the people there that dark day. The Past Elemental Master of Earth went pail.

"Now I'm sure you're smart enough to figure out who I am from that little list." (Y/N) affirmed. The man nodded. "Yes, I was there that day." The Past Elemental Master of Earth admitted.

"Good. Now, Who was it?" (Y/N) asked, her voice soft and polite. The Past Elemental Master of Earth didn't answer. His entire frame had gone rigid, as though he were carved from marble, but his face registered one emotion; absolute fear.

"Who. Was. It." (Y/N) hissed very slowly. Her voice, growing more demonic with every word.

"I-I can't tell you." The Past Elemental Master of Earth admitted. "They threatened my daughter if I ever told." The Past Elemental Master of Earth pleaded with her. He could risk his daughter's safety. He couldn't. Not, his little Lilly.

"Someone threatened Lilly?" Past Wu questioned the Past Master of Earth who nodded solemnly. "Please understand what happened to the Anacondrai and all the Serpentine was not deserved, but please, you must understand. I can't risk my family." The Past Master of Earth begged (Y/N).

"The Serpentine aren't the only ones who were hurt by all of your actions." (Y/N) hissed. "Just the only ones you know off." (Y/N)'s free hand clenched itself into a fist, her teeth bared themselves in a snarl and the very air around her seemed to pulse with ill intent. With seemingly great effort, she composed herself once more.

"I'm here under orders to drag that person before my people and personally execute them." (Y/N) explained, her voice a venomous hiss. Everyone let out a horrified/surprised gasp at the proclamation.

"Well, I think we got our answer." Kai said, taking a gulp out of fear. "Her people have ordered her to kill someone." Nya said in realisation.

"Now I'll ask you again. Which one of your fellow Elemental Masters was the one that murdered Eris." (Y/N) coldly stated.

"I-" The Past Elemental Master of Earth struggled with what he had to say. "Is that true?" The Past Master of Lightning asked. The Past Elemental Master of Earth turned to the blond and nodded.

"It's true. It's why I tried to make it up to the Serpentine by helping them." The Past Elemental Master of Earth admitted to his fellow Elemental Masters.

"I always wondered why he did that." Acronix said to his brother, who immediately shushed him. Krux did not want to miss a moment of this.

"Who. Was. It!" (Y/N) growled, ceasing the Past Elemental Master of Earth by the throat and holding him up in the air.

"Stop!" Past Garmadon pleaded with her. "This won't bring back your people." Past Garmadon pleaded having figured out whom she must be connected too from the people she'd listed off earlier.

"Stay out of this, Garmadon!" (Y/N) hissed at the son of the First Spinjitzu Master. "I'm authorised to eliminate anyone who gets in my way. That includes all the Elemental Masters, their family and their descendants." (Y/N) replied in a coldly furious voice that spoke of murder.

"Either way the guilty party will be eliminated. My offer just means others don't have to pay the price." (Y/N) remarked, baring her teeth and letting it sink in for all the Elemental Masters what this all truly meant.

"So that's why she's doing all this to find one person. She has been ordered to kill us all if she can't find the one responsible." Kai whispered to Nya as the realisation dawned on all the Elemental Masters.

"Tell her!" One of the Past Elemental Masters shouted at the Past Elemental Master of Earth. "Wait? Does that include my Cliff?" The Past Master of Lightning asked in a panicked voice. "Of course, it does! You dumb blond!" The Past Elemental Master of Shadow shouted at the Past Master of Lightning. The Past Elemental Master of Sound of sound hitting the blond on the back of her head with his bo staff.

All the Past Elemental Masters started to yell at the Past Elemental Master of Earth and each other.

"Now I wished I'd brought some popcorn." Acronix chuckled as he watched the Past Elemental Master of Ice struggled to hold back the Past Elemental Master of Lightning as she shocked the Past Elemental Master of Sound while he continued to hit the blond on the head with his bo staff.

"You know I'm starting to think we didn't need the Vermillion Warriors to destroy the Elemental Masters." Krux said in stunned astonishment as he watched Past Wu and Past Garmadon try to stop the other Past Elemental Masters from ganging up on the Past Master of Earth.

"Ow! Ow! Ow!" Past Garmadon cried out as he stumbled past the Hands of Time with the Past Elemental Master of Shadow on his back, pulling at his hair. "Stop pulling on my hair!" Past Garmadon pleaded with her.

"Well, too late for that now. I brought them. I'm going to use them." Krux said with an indifferent huff. He hadn't gone through the last forty years for nothing.

"I-It. It was the Elemental Master of Water!" The Past Elemental Master of Earth shouted over the crowd loud enough for everyone to hear. (Y/N) let go of The Past Elemental Master of Earth throat and he hit the floor with a heavy thud.

"Maya?" Acronix said in genuine surprise. "Never thought she'd have it in her to do something like that." "Should have killed her when I had the chance." Krux seethed.

"Mum... did... it...?" Kai struggled to say. The shock of what he'd just overheard shaking him to his core.

"I'll be waiting in the Iron Doom." (Y/N) informed the Hands of time as she stepped back inside the Iron Doom. Noticing the Reversal Time Blade right outside the window Nya quickly runs to the Reversal Blade and tries to pull it out of the time apparatus of the Iron Doom but cannot.

Krux cleared his throat and gaining everyone's attention. "You have already stopped us once today. But that was before we had a legion spawned from the Great Devourer." Krux announced.

"Aw, I thought I was going to finally go on my honeymoon. Really cute guy, too. Cliff is an actor and when I look into his eyes-" The Past Master of Lightning continued to ramble on about her love. It was easy to see where Jay got it from.

"Stop! Focus, everyone." Past Wu ordered, cutting off the Past Master of Lightning.

"Focus? Indeed." Krux smirked. "Commander Machia, it is time." Acronix ordered.

"Vermillion Warriors. To arms! Devour!" Supreme Commander Machia ordered. The Vermillion Warriors took to battle as they emerged from the Iron Doom.

"The what?" Past Master of Lightning said in confusion. The Elemental Masters of the Past had never heard of such a people before. The Masters start to fight the Vermillion Samurai, but they are unaware of how to truly defeat them when they continuously reform back together.

"These warriors are made of snakes." Past Wu uttered, defeating one only for it to reform. "I've never seen snakes do that before." Past Master of Lightning said as the snakes regenerate before their very eyes once more.

"Masters. Watch your flank." Past Wu shouts to the others. Holding off some of the Vermillion Samurai. "There's too many." Past Garmadon reports to his brother.

"And even when you stop one it just forms back together." Past Master of Lightning complained, shocking several of the Vermillion Samurai only for them to reform.

"We have to keep them out." Past Garmadon shouted. "Shut the gates!"

"Argh. The stupid Reversal Blade won't budge!" Nya said, desperately pulling on the blade. "Step aside, sis. Let the Elemental Master of Fire take care of-" Kai declared, but was cut off by the arrival of (Y/N).

(Y/N)'s vision, and mind, went blank with fury. Within seconds she'd crossed the control room of the Iron Doom. Ceasing Nya by the throat, pinning the Master of Water against the wall. "Where is your progenitor!" (Y/N) growled in Nya's face.

"Kai, Nya." Wu wheezes as he came out of the hiding place. "Master Wu." Kai called out to his ailing master. "(Y/N) stop." Wu beseeched. But (Y/N) didn't even notice the old man.

Nya desperately clawed at (Y/N)'s arm to get her to let go, but it was no use her arm wouldn't budge. The symbol on her right forearm was glowing so brightly it was practically blinding Nya.

"Where is your progenitor!" (Y/N) growled again into Nya's face. "Is your progenitor alive or not!" (Y/N) spat at the Water Ninja.

"(Y/N) stop." Wu wheezes again. This caused Wu to become dizzy and was about to fall, but was caught by Kai. "Nya is not responsible for her mother's actions." Wu coughed. "Our Mum?" Kai responded, clueing in to what (Y/N) was saying. "Our mother is still alive." Kai cried out in hopes of getting (Y/N) to stop choking Nya.

"(Y/N) stop!" Wu tries to order but goes into a coughing fit. "I. Have. My. Orders!" (Y/N) growled out the symbol growing brighter. "Someone. Must. Pay!" A furious snarl etched its way across her face and for a moment Nya felt true fear, seeing just how scary and dangerous (Y/N) could be.

"W-Wu-I-I don't t-think she c-can." Nya choked out. "Orders. Can't stop. That symbol!" Kai said, starting to put the pieces together. "They're forcing you to follow orders through that symbol!" Kai shouted in realisation.

"I. Have. My. Orders!" (Y/N) growled out the symbol starting to crackle and spark out green electricity. "Someone. Must. Pay. Perpetrator. Or. Descendant. No. Excuses." (Y/N) hissed through gritted teeth.

"Where exactly are we?" Wu said, looking around in confusion. "Long story, but we're back in time. Forty years. When you, Garmadon, and the Elemental Masters fought Krux and Acronix at the monastery. Only this time, the good guys are losing." Kai explained only to get cut off by (Y/N).

"The Elemental Masters are no good guys." (Y/N) spat in disgust. She had so much more she wanted to add, but that could wait. They didn't need to know what she thought about them. They didn't need to know that this was only the beginning.

Before Kai could argue with (Y/N), Wu spoke. "From your point of view, I suppose we are not." Wu admitted with a tired breath. It was obvious to all that Wu was fading fast and becoming weaker with every moment.

Kai gritted his teeth in frustration. "We have to help you." Kai said to Wu. "Not just you, you. Young you, too, Wu. Oh, that's a mouthful." Kai said, thinking about it.

"No. I have warned you before about the dangers of time travel. Change anything, change everything. At this time, you do not exist yet." Wu explained before passing out once more.

"Master? Is he..." Nya said in fear of the worst. Nya wanted to go to his side, but (Y/N) wouldn't ease her grip. She may not be choking Nya anymore, but she still wasn't letting go. The discharges of energy coming from the symbol forcing Nya to close her eyes.

"He's still here. But not for long." Kai said, checking his master's pulse.

"They won't last long either." Kai said, nodding his head towards the window. "They need us. They've never seen Vermillion before. They don't know how to stop them. But we do. We've got to go help."

"We can't reveal our presence. You heard Master Wu. Change anything, change everything." Nya reminded her brother.

"I also heard Krux say The battle will be refought. Don't you get it? Things are already changing. For the worse. Besides, Master Wu also says, Never put off until tomorrow what can be done today. And if we don't help today, there won't be a tomorrow." Kai pointed out to Nya.

"(Y/N) could you maybe let Nya go?" Kai begged. "Perpetrator. Or. Descendant. She goes nowhere." (Y/N) snarled in response.

(Third Person P.O.V)

____ Ninjago ____

Ronin and Dareth wheel their way through the swamplands. "Brrrrr." Dareth shuttered. "This place gives me the creeps." Dareth complained as he helped push Ronin's wheelchair through the mud.

"Agreed." Ronin stated, looking down at the foul-smelling mud. "Let's find some treasure... I mean your trophies and get out." Ronin said, correcting himself with a laugh, not paying attention to where he was going and getting his wheelchair stuck.

Dareth shook Ronin's wheelchair, trying to dislodge the stuck wheelchair. "It won't come unstuck." Dareth grunted as he continued to push.

Ronin's wheelchair slowly started to become dislodged without either person noticing.

"Hang on!" Ronin shouted as the wheelchair shot out from underneath them. Ronin and Dearth let out terrified screams as the wheelchair sped down the side of the hill and only came to a stop when it crashed through a wooden wall.

"Ouch." Dareth complained. "Who are you?" A voice called out getting Dareth and Ronin's attention. Sitting there on the ground was a group of five constructions workers all chained to each other.

"Have you come to rescue us?" One of the construction workers asked with his eyes full of hope.

"Rescue? Why yes, the brown ninja is here to save the day!" Dareth proudly declared. "Don't mind me." Ronin hissed at Dareth from the ground. Dearth immediately rushed to help Ronin.

"Oh, thank you! Those snakes kidnapped us, and when we refused to work for them, they chained us together and locked us in the empty shed." One of the construction workers explained to the brown ninja with tears in his eyes.

"Don't worry." Dareth declared after helping Ronin and returned his attention back to the construction workers. "By the way have any of you seen any trophies around here?" Dareth asked. "Trophies? No, I don't think so." One of the construction workers answered.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Kai and Nya desperately think of what to do. Kai was muttering to himself again. His fists balled against his temples.

"Kai?" Nya asked, concerned for her brother. "I've failed everyone. You, Ninjago, Mum, Dad, the team, and Master Wu." Kai continued to mumble.

"The Reversal Blade." Nya said aloud, snapping Kai out of his mumbling. "Remember what mum told us back at the swamp? How shortly after Acronix and Krux disappeared, she and Dad found the Reversal Blade?" Nya stated.

"Right. In the woods near the monastery. But they sunk it in the Boiling Sea." Kai replied, not understanding Nya. "We are in the past. It hasn't been put in the Boiling Sea yet. So it's still in the woods." Nya announced.

"We gotta get that Reversal Blade!" Kai said. Nya gives him a look. Clearly, she wasn't going to be able to go. "Right... I have to get that Reversal Blade." Kai said, correcting himself and taking off to find the Reversal Blade in the woods nearby.

"Seize the leader." Machia commanded, the Vermillion Samurai surround Past Wu. Past Wu tries to fight them off although is still captured by the snakes.

"A futile effort. Here are the terms of surrender. Yield now, and we will destroy the Elemental Masters, but spare the citizens of Ninjago." Krux said, explaining their terms for the Masters' surrender.

"But..." Past Wu tried to protest. "Refuse, and we still destroy you, but the citizens will not be spared." Acronix laughed.

"Do. You. Yield?" Krux demanded pointing his sword to Wu's throat. Garmadon tried to get up to fight for his brother, but Acronix knocked him back.

"I... I yield." Past Wu replied in pitiful surrender.

"No. Krux and Acronix just altered the outcome of a key battle in Ninjago history." Nya said at a loss.

"Change anything, change everything." Wu acknowledged, shaking his head in dismay.

(Third Person P.O.V)

____ Ninjago ____

In the rapidly-shifting present, the remaining Ninjas try to help Kai and Nya's father, who was suffering the effects of being hit with a Time Punch.

"Guys, something's really wrong. The city is, um, different." Jay said as he watched the city morph and change.

"Yeah. It looks old. Like, Ninjago forty years ago old." Cole said, scratching his head.

"Huh? My BorgWatch has disappeared." Cyrus said in alarm, looking down at his arm. "What is going on?" Jay panicked.

"My worst fear has come true." A now-elderly Ray explains. "The past has been changed. Your watch doesn't exist because your technology no longer happened. No computers. No telephones. No-" "-Zane!" Lloyd shouts. There they see Zane lying on the ground unmoving.

"Zane!" Samurai X shouted, his armour disappearing revealing Echo. "Echo is the new Samurai X?" Jay said in shock at the sudden reveal. "Jay, not now." Cole scolds the Master of Lightning as they rush to Zane's side.

Echo begins to shake his brother while repeating his name over and over again in an effort to wake him.

"Zane, please. Please wake up. Zane. Zane. Wake up. Please, big brother, wake up. I can't lose you. You're my only family. Zane, please wake up." Echo kept pleading with his brother.

"Because Echo is steam-powered the lack of tech isn't affecting him but Zane..." Cyrus said, taking a pause. "Is powered by another power source."

"Zane." Echo cried for his brother and held him closer. "Please don't leave me."

(Third Person P.O.V)

____ Ninjago ____

"I don't know how much longer Wu is going to last." Nya confessed as she watched Wu slowly fading away before her eyes.

"Something is wrong..." (Y/N) said rubbing at the symbol. Before, Nya could ask about what she meant. Kai returns having obtained the Reversal Time Blade and immediately uses it to cure Wu of the Time Punch.

Kai and Master Wu hold the Reversal Time Blade causing the recent events to reverse until the point, just before (Y/N) walks in. Only now Wu cured of the Time Punch, Kai and Wu grab Nya and hide in their hiding spot just in time for (Y/N) to walk past and look out the window of the Iron Doom to watch the fighting below allowing Wu, Nya and Kai to slip out without her noticing.

(Y/N) looked down at the symbol. "Something is wrong..." She stated while rubbing at the symbol. This needed to be dealt with as soon as possible.

"Seize the leader." Supreme Commander Machia ordered and the Vermillion surround Past Wu. Past Wu tries to fight them off but is about to be finished off until Kai and Nya destroy the warriors attacking them with their powers.

"Ray! Maya! You've returned!" Past Wu said, spying the pair on the monastery's roof.

"Uh, yes. And we've um, studied these warriors. To defeat them, you cannot allow them to reform." Kai said in a disguised voice. "You're right. He thinks we're our parents." Kai said, whispering in a normal voice to Nya.

"We must work together. All of us." Nya proclaimed in her disguised voice.

"I thought the forging of the Time Blades exhausted you." Past Garmadon assumed suspicious of the pair.

"Uh, we rested and, uh..." Kai said in his disguised voice. "Look out! Use your powers to separate them!" Kai whispered in his normal voice to his sister. "Follow our lead!" Kai announced in his disguised voice to the Elemental Masters of the Past.

"Keep them separated. Got it." The Past Elemental Master of Ice repeated. As the Masters acknowledge this, they begin to get the upper hand in their fight with the Vermillion.

"We're losing." Krux snarled at Blunck and Raggmunk. "Eh, a temporary setback." Blunck reassured his masters.

"We did not travel across decades to suffer temporary setbacks." Acronix replied. The twins agree together before smashing Blunck and Raggmunk back into their component snakes. Taking their helmets and wearing them.

Machia slithered up to her masters. "I was wondering when you would finally tire of their incompetence." Supreme Commander Machia said, watching the snakes that were Blunck and Raggmunk slither away.

"We always knew the time would come." Krux said, nodding to his brother once more.

"So, shall I reorganise the troops?" Supreme Commander Machia asked her masters.

"Oh, I'm afraid we won't be needing your services either." Krux said, revealing that she too has outlived her usefulness as well.

"Supreme Commander Machia, you are relieved." Acronix said, smashing her back into her component snakes before returning to the cockpit of the Iron Doom.

"On my count. Three, two-" Kai said in his disguised voice as the Masters are about to finish off the last of the Vermillion. Suddenly the Vermillion Samurai all explode back into their component snakes.

"Why did they stop?" Kai questions in his disguised voice.

"All snakes, cease battle." Krux ordered. "Return to the Iron Doom. Iron Doom, arise!" Acronix declared, calling all of the Vermillion snakes back to the Iron Doom.

The Elemental Masters watch as the snakes slither up the Iron Doom, entering parts of it in the process.

Using the helmets obtained from Blunck and Raggmunk, Acronix and Krux then order the Iron Doom to arise, causing the snakes in the Iron Doom to give the machine life as it then towers over the monastery.

"Yes, master." Iron Doom responded as it came to life. It's voice a combination of Blunck, Raggmunk and Machia.

"It is time to rule!" Krux proudly declared as he high-fived his twin. (Y/N) just folds her arms and glares at the pair. The soon they returned to the present, the sooner she could hunt down the one called Maya.

"Argh, seriously? Normal snake samurai are hard enough. How do we stop that?" Past Master of Lightning loudly complained.

"You know this enemy. What do we do?" Past Wu asked, turning to Kai. "I... I have no idea." Kai said in his disguised voice. The Iron Doom then slams its left arm into the ground, knocking the Elemental Masters down.

"Then we must improvise. Spinjitzu. It's our last hope." Past Wu said. The Iron Doom shoots an egg from its mouth, with the Masters retaliating with their powers. The Iron Doom then moves up, smashing down the front gate and walls of the monastery.

"Ninja, go!" Past Wu and Garmadon shouted, performing Spinjitzu. The Iron Doom knocks them aside, unaffected.

The Iron Doom bends down, getting close to the Elemental Masters.

"It's so big it just towers over us." Nya cited giving Kai an idea. "Then let's get above it." Kai said nodding to his sister. "Ninja, go!" Both said using Airjitzu.

"It's time to bring back the big guy." Kai stated, holding out the Dragon blade. "How do you know it isn't the big girl?" Nya counted to her brother's claims.

"Who do we destroy first? Garmadon or Wu?" Acronix asked his brother. Krux hears the Fusion Dragon. "I think we have bigger issues. Evasive Maneuver-Ah!" Krux screams as Kai and Nya ramming the Fusion Dragon into the Iron Doom.

The Iron Doom pulls out a sword from it's back and swings towards the dragon.

"It appears that even the mighty can still fall." Past Garmadon commented. "Then, perhaps there is still hope. Krux and Acronix's overconfidence just might be their undoing." Past Wu said.

"This time, let's go in low." Kai decided. "Got it. Hyah!" Nya replied, ordering the Fusion Dragon to hit the Iron Doom again.

As the Iron Doom turns towards the Masters in the monastery, the Fusion Dragon tries to strike it from behind but is knocked away. Kai suggests aiming higher as the Iron Doom pulls out its second sword.

"Fire and Water are nearly as awful as their little brats Kai and Nya." Acronix spat. "Don't you recognise the Fusion Dragon? Those are their little brats." Krux shouted at his brother. "Maximum barrage." Krux commanded.

"Maximum barrage engaged." Iron Doom responds and shoots several eggs towards the Fusion Dragon, but they all miss.

"Eggs? They're getting desperate." Kai dismissed in a smug tone. "Actually, at that speed, our skulls will crack before those shells do." Nya replied, correcting her smug brother.

"Let's take 'em out!" Kai declared. Using their powers, Kai and Nya manage to knock Krux and Acronix back away from the controls.

"You know what they say, fight Fire with Time." Acronix said. "I hate when you make up sayings." Krux responded, expressing his hatred for Acronix's sayings. "Fine. Then how about Iron Doom, full temporal energy." Acronix orders. "Full temporal energy." Iron Doom responds.

As Kai shoots a fireball at the Iron Doom at the same time Past Wu orders the Masters to distract the Iron Doom. With this distraction, Kai and Nya slam into the Iron Doom with the Fusion Dragon causing it to fall away from the monastery with Krux and Acronix screaming as they stare down the mountain as the Iron Doom's blades falling down the side of the mountain. (Y/N) just rolled her eyes. Using their helmets the twins get the Iron Doom back up.

"Kai and Nya have interfered for the last time. I will destroy them, even if I have to do it with my bare hands!" Krux vowed.

"We still have the Iron Doom. We can go anywhere in time we please. If the fight is too difficult here, let's go to a time where we are sure of victory. A time where those two do not exist." Acronix replied, taking over the controls.

"Ah, yes. Further back in the past." Krux said, perking up. (Y/N) looked like she was about to strangle the older twin. "No. Far into the future." Acronix stated, using his helmet to activate the time apparatus on the Iron Doom opening another time vortex above it.

Kai and Nya swoop past picking up the Wu of their time. "We must make sure the future is not affected. Wu, catch." Wu ordered, tossing the Reversal Blade to his past self.

"The Reversal Blade. But how?" Past Wu said, staring at the blade in his arms. "Who knows? But it's dangerous to keep. The Boiling Sea." Past Garmadon instructs his brother.

"Find Mystake. Drink Obscuritea, all of you." Wu ordered from the back of the Fusion Dragon.

"Go, go, go!" Kai shouts at the dragon. Kai, Nya and Wu followed Iron Doom into the vortex on the back of the Fusion Dragon, the time vortex closing behind them.

(Third Person P.O.V)

____ Ninjago ____

In the future, everything was slowly restored to normal. "Guys, you won't believe it." Jay shouts as he watches Ninjago City turn back to normal.

"Ninjago is back to normal." Cole declared. "My technology has returned!" Cyrus said, holding up his arm to show off his watch.

"I believe something just overloaded my sensors. Did anyone else feel a temporal disturbance?" Zane said, sitting up and dusting himself off.

"Brother!" Echo shouted, hugging Zane as tightly as he could. "Oh, you guys. Let me get in on this." Jay said, hugging Echo, who was now back in his Samurai X armour.

"Echo you are the new Samurai X?" Zane asked his brother. Samurai X nods and slowly removes their helmet. "It's not just me. I have help." Echo explained to his brother. Cyrus wheels himself forward to talk to Echo. "Mindroid I presume." He said with a smile.

"Yes. He is very worried about you and wants you returned home safely." Echo reports to the inventor.

"Everything's fixed. Yeah!" Cole loudly cheered. "Haha! Kai and Nya did it!" Lloyd also cheered as everyone celebrated.

"The fate of Ninjago. Ugh." A rapidly-aging Ray coughed cutting through the cheering. "Not everything." Maya said, cradling her weakened husband. "Please, Ray. Hold on."

"Hey, what's going on over here?" Ronin asked wheeling himself through the grove followed by Dareth and the five construction workers they'd rescued.

"Ronin! Dareth! When did you get here?" Jay asked. "And who are these guys?" Cole asked, noticing the people in hard hats. "Construction workers that the snake samurai snatched." Dareth answered the green ninja.

"Oops, guess we missed some." Lloyd said under his breath.

(Third Person P.O.V)

____ Ninjago ____

Back in the Iron Doom, Acronix and Krux take off their helmets as Krux continues to pout and complain.

"Ugh. Must we go to the future?" Krux loudly complained. "I. Want. That. Witch!" (Y/N) demanded, she was losing her restraint with the pair.

"Easy." Acronix said, backing away. "If we travel far enough ahead in time, there will be no one who knows us. No Elemental Masters. And best of all, no Kai and Nya." Acronix explains.

"Wow, you just keep getting it wrong, don't you?" Kai said as he, Nya and Master Wu stepped into the cockpit.

"Huh?" Krux and Acronix said at the same time. Their expressions that of shock and anger.

"That's got to be really, really frustrating." Nya said with a smirk at the Hands of Time.

"No. It's impossible. It ends now!" Acronix demands, stamping his feet on the ground.

"Indeed, it does. And we shall end it together." Wu said, agreeing with him as they all pull out their swords and fight. Except (Y/N) who pulls out her axe. Acronix and Krux facing off against Kai and Wu while (Y/N) went after Nya.

During their fight, Nya is thrown out of the window of the Iron Doom and is nearly pushed off the mech by (Y/N) but was saved by Wu loudly stating. "We are passing through the present."

Everyone sort of looks out the window and sees that they are indeed about to pass the present, where Wu sees Ray aging rapidly, being cradled by Maya. "Ray, my old friend." Wu said regretfully.

(Y/N) let out a vicious snarl and dived out the window and into the time stream. "Wow, she's really determined." Acronix said as he watched her go.

She was ready. She could see flashbacks of all the injustices done to her, the loss, the frustration, the need for revenge. This Maya deserved what was coming for her.

(Y/N) falls into the present. She looked around the swamp. Where was she? "(Y/N)? Where did you come from?" Jay asked, looking up at the sky for any sign of the others.

"YOU MURDEROUS WITCH!" (Y/N) screamed at the top of her voice, pointing her axe at Maya as soon as her eyes fell on Maya. Her frame was trembling with anger, her face twisted the rage.

"No! Please!" Maya begs while taking a step away from her husband, so he isn't hurt. (Y/N) charges toward Maya, despite Maya's pleas.

Maya gets into a battle stance, preparing for the attack. However, someone shouts. "Now!" Just as (Y/N) leaps into the air ready to strike Maya with her axe. Some sort of large, circular metal object is thrown encasing Maya in some form of barrier made out of orange light and (Y/N) is wrapped in green chains.

"Damn she's strong!" Wrayth complained, trying to hold (Y/N) back from her prey. Cole recognises the barrier as the cage he'd been locked inside of when he was in Knighton.

Ghoultar, Bansha and Soul Archer all joining in gripping onto Wrayth's chains. "He's not kidding!" Bansha shouted as they strained to keep a hold of (Y/N). "Ghoultar should have eaten more Puffy Potstickers." Ghoultar loudly complained.

They turn around just in time to see Nidhogg swooping down at them snatching up (Y/N), the ghosts and the imprisoned Maya before he spins travelling to a different realm.

"Maya." Ray cried out for his wife as she was taken away. "Whoa! That ain't good!" Kai comments as he watches the present, from within the Iron Doom.

"Goodbye, children." Krux proclaimed raising his blade above his head to strike down on the smith siblings. Just before Krux and Acronix finish off Kai and Nya, Master Wu quickly yells at them.

"Ha! There is nothing you can do." Acronix says rubbing it in the old man's face that he'd failed his students.

"Except. What must be done." Wu declared before ripping out the Reversal Time Blade from the time apparatus, causing the Iron Doom to spin out of control.

"No! Fool, you'll destroy us all!" Krux shouts as Master Wu jumps back into the cockpit, he catches Kai and Nya before they fall out of the window.

"How'd you do that?" Nya asked. "Why did you do that?" Kai questioned. "Putting off until tomorrow what cannot be done today." Wu replied then, tossing the Reversal Blade to them, making them fall into the present.

"As you said, Acronix, it ends now." Wu said, turning his attention to the time twins. The sounds of the three of them fighting was soon heard as the Iron Doom becomes further lost in time as it travels into the future.

In the present, Kai and Nya drop out of a time vortex with the Reversal Time Blade in the Vermillion Swamps near the others. "Kai? Nya?" Lloyd said in surprise at the siblings sudden appearance.

"Can't hold on." Ray stated, feeling his life slipping away. "Dad?" Kai and Nya said, running to his side.

"I'm afraid he is close to his end. There's nothing to be done." Zane sadly informed the pair.

"Yes, there is." Kai replies, and uses the Reversal Blade on his father, curing him of the time punch. "My children." Ray cried out, hugging Nya and Kai. "Dad." Kai and Nya said weeping tears of joy.

"Wait? Where's mum?" Nya asked, looking around for her mother. "She was taken by a dragon." Ray explained to his children. "Not just any dragon. Nidhogg." Jay stated. "You want to tell us why that happened?" Lloyd asked Kai and Nya.

Nya looked to Kai. "Our mum... Our mum was the one that killed Eris and started the Elemental Master/Serpentine war." Kai explained his face filled with shame.

"No, Maya would never." Ray loudly objected. "It's the truth dad." Nya stated. "Cole's ancestor saw everything."

Cole's eyebrows shot up. "That's why his ancestor helped the Serpentine during the war. He was trying to repent for not being able to stop our mother because she'd threatened his daughter Lilly. Cole mother." Nya explained, sparing Cole a look.

"Wait? Your mum threatened to kill mine?" Cole questioned Nya. Nya nodded. Jay immediately went to Cole's side to comfort him. Cole's mother had always been a touchy subject with the Earth Ninja.

"No." Ray continued to dispute what he was being told. "Maya had no reason to start a war. I don't believe it." Ray continued to shout at the Ninjas.

"I think I know why." Kai spoke up. "Dad. I think the reason mum did what she did, is because she found out that you had an affair that fathered Hela, Eris' daughter."

"Kai... What in the name of the First Master of Spinjitzu are you talking about?" Ray demanded, completely confused about what his eldest was talking about. "I have never cheated on your mother, I've never been with another besides your mother." Ray denied the allegations.

"Wait?! What!?" Kai and Nya shouted at their dad. "But you were obsessed with Eris. She had a kid. It all fits." Kai pointed out in a frantic tone that even Jay couldn't have pulled off.

"Yeah, that means (Y/N) is our niece, right?" Nya questioned, looking at her brother. "Kids, whoa, no!" Ray said, shaking his hands at his children. "There are so many things wrong with that I don't know where to begin." Ray stated, completely flustered by what his two children were saying.

"Kids, you don't have any other siblings." Ray said, trying to correct things. "Why would you think you had any other siblings?" Ray demanded. "Well, Ronin said." Nya started to explain.

"Hey! I only said it was a theory." Ronin objected to having any of the blame put on him.

"Wait? What happened to Master Wu?" Cole asked, looking around. "Oh, no. He's still on the Iron Doom. He stayed aboard to deal with Krux and Acronix." Kai acknowledged.

"So we don't have a Master anymore?" Cole replied, expressing his sorrow at having no master.

"Yes, we do. You, Lloyd. It has to be you." Jay said, turning to Lloyd. "But..." Lloyd said, trying to question this decision as everyone looks at him.

"Master Lloyd." Kai said, giving Lloyd the Time Blade.

"Master Lloyd." Lloyd said, accepting his new title and takes the Reversal Time Blade. "Everyone, listen up. First, we get rid of this. It's too powerful. Then, it'll take all our energy, and we will not rest until we know where is Wu?"

"Um, WHAT ABOUT MY WIFE!" Ray yelled at the Green Ninja. "Yeah some of us also have unresolved family issues going on right now Lloyd. It isn't always about you." Nya scolded the green ninja.

"Oh, right." Lloyd said, rubbing the back of his neck. "Ok. New plan. Get rid of the Reversal Time, confront (Y/N), find Wu." Lloyd declared, coming up with an alternate plan.

"And how are we going to do that?" Jay asked. "You'll find out soon enough." Morro laughed at the ninjas before taking his leave on his Elemental Dragon.

"Yeah, I do not like that guy." Kai loudly stated as he watched Morro leave.

(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

Over the years of working with various Elemental Masters for a multitude of reasons, Maya had become well versed in recognising body language. And could usually get a good reading off someone from their expressions.

The expression on the current Master of Karma's face at the moment. She'd seen before. It was the same murderous look in the eyes of someone had when they had been pushed too far and someone was going to die.

Maya took note of their surroundings. It was clear she was in some kind of magic cage produced by the metal platform beneath her. Once the Dragon let them go from its claws, the ghost which Maya learned was called Chain Master Wrayth started whooping and cheering.

"This is going to be fun!" Wrayth shouted in excitement. "Wrayth. This is going to be an execution." Bansha sighed at the younger ghost's excitement.

"Yeah, a public execution." Wrayth reiterated, making extra sure to highlight the word public in his statement.

While Maya hadn't known where exactly they were taking her but they seemed to be taking her in the direction of a decrepit courtyard. The closer they got, though, the more she could hear something in the distance. And sure enough, a crowd emerged from a set of castle doors.

"Ah, you have finally found your prey." A Sea Monster drew out in uncertain and was wary of the being in the cage.

"I have completed my orders." (Y/N) replied with a smile that did not at all fit the ever growing atmosphere.

"I present to you all. Maya Smith of Ninjago." (Y/N) declared to her people in a voice fit for a Queen.

"The one who is responsible for Hela; Queen of Darkness inflicting her reign upon us all. Maya gasped at this new information but was ignored as (Y/N) continued to address the crowd.

"A crime that had such far-reaching consequences that this vile act spread throughout many realms including our own." (Y/N) continued to proclaim to the growing angry masses before her.

Maya drew back or at least she tried too only to end up bumping into the wall of her cage promptly cutting off any avenue of escape as the angry masses continued to approach.

"We greet you, Maya Smith of Ninjago!" (Y/N) greeted her with an all too-wide smile. "We are so happy you finally made it to your execution!"

"You've evaded the consequences long enough."
