____ Ninjago ____

Shortly after his battle against Acronix, Sensei Wu was taken back to the Temple of Airjitzu for some much-needed rest.

Wu was clearly distressed and started drinking as many cups of tea Misako gave him.

"Ah. Another cup please, Misako." Wu said, handing over the empty teacup.

"Okay, but drink it slower this time. Healing Tea doesn't work on a burnt tongue." Misako said as Wu drinks the tea. "You are quite impatient!" Misako said in a scolding tone.

"The same could be said of them." Wu said, nodding his head towards his students anxiously gathered around him.

"Okay, Master Wu, you've had your tea. Now can we talk?" Cole demanded.

"Ask any question you wish." Wu said allowing them to ask anything they wanted, which led to them all immediately blurting out different questions.

"Who did we fight in the monastery?!" Cole loudly shouted.

"How does he speed up time like that?!" Kai demanded.

"Why did he attack you?" Zane vehemently asked.

"How do you know him!?" Nya quickly demanded.

"What did he want!?" Lloyd shouted at his uncle.

"Who ate my pudding cup!?" Jay yelled. His fellow ninja all turn to stare at him.

"What? He said ask any question. I put my name on this. Just because we're in a new dojo doesn't mean we disobey the refrigerator rules!" Jay said and they all continued to stare at him. "Right. Sorry. Guy in the monastery. What's his story?" Jay said getting back on track.

"That was Acronix." Wu answered. "Well, to answer that, I must begin at the end. It was forty years ago, shortly after the Serpentine Wars. When I was a much younger man. As you know, we fought valiantly, but our enemies were strong, and our powers alone were not enough. It was the discovery of the magic flutes that allowed us to finally defeat the Anacondrai. Their leaders were banished. And peace was returned to Ninjago." Wu said.

"Today, Ninjago is finally at peace. A great victory. And one we could not have achieved without each of you, the Elemental Masters. Smoke, Metal, Lightning, Shadow, Fire, Water, and Time!" Past Wu said.

"Hold on a sec. So that guy at the monastery is an actual Elemental Master of Time?" Cole said.

"No. Acronix was an Elemental Master of Time, like his brother, Krux." Wu said, sipping his tea.

"Krux?" Nya questioned. "The other Elemental Master of Time." Wu said, sipping his tea.

"After helping us win our hard-fought peace, they betrayed me, Garmadon, and the others. The so-called Hands of Time felt they controlled the most powerful Element, therefore entitling them to rule all of Ninjago." Wu said.

"What did you do?" Nya questioned her Sensei. "We had to stop them. And it would take all of us. Garmadon, myself, and every Elemental Master." Wu answered.

"Even our parents?" Kai said, gripping onto Nya for support.

"Of course. Kai, your mother and father were great fighters, but it appeared even they had met their match. Acronix was a skilled warrior, one of the best I've ever seen, but his real power was his ability to control the forward movement of time. By sending himself forward, he was always ahead of the action, as if he had super speed. However, a slow progression can be just as dangerous. Different power, but equally effective. One Master of Time was bad enough, but as the hands on a clock, there were two. Krux's power was the opposite of his brother's. He could reverse time. It's a huge advantage in combat. Know your opponent's next move, know how to counter it. He could even control time to the point of halting it. Of course, he didn't halt himself." Wu explained.

"We knew we had to prepare. Fearing that next time, we would not be so lucky." Wu said.

*Flashback!*

"They're unbeatable, brother! How do we stop them?" Past Garmadon said out of breath.

"I don't know. Time is the thread that sews the fabric of the universe." Past Wu said, also out of breath.

"And it appears that they have all the needles." Past Garmadon said.

"Control time..." Past Acronix said. "...control everything!" Past Krux finished as they both laugh.

*End Flashback!*

"We knew we had to prepare. Fearing that next time, we would not be so lucky." Wu exclaimed with a cough.

"Hey! I just got a message from Ronin." Jay shouted holding up his phone and interrupting Sensei Wu. "It's a video. Along with the message: Felt like you may want a heads up!" Jay read aloud.

"Ominous." Zane commented as he joined his brother's sides. "Well, what are you waiting for? Click on it." Kai said giving Jay a shove. The ninjas all gathered around Jay as he clicked on the video.

(Y/N) was standing up on stage waving to the fans that had gathered.

"Ok, so as you can see some of the members of the Treble Makers had an emergency and couldn't be here today." (Y/N) said waving her hands behind her where their instruments laid but no one to play them.

"Awww!" The crowd responded in disappointment. "I know. Sad." (Y/N) responded to their cries of disappointment.

"But don't fear. We have some new members who will be joining us for this evening's performance and who knows if this goes well the Treble Makers may have a revolving door of band members to play for our wonderful fans." (Y/N) said to the surprise of the crowd.

"Now with further adieu. Let's begin with the missing songs from our interrupted day of the departed performance!" (Y/N) said signalling for the replacement band members to start playing.

The footage cut off there and the ninja all paused and looked at Lloyd who had a darkened expression on his face.

"Ah, Lloyd buddy. You ah, you doing ok, there pal?" Jay asked with nervous laughter at the absolute silence coming from Lloyd.

Lloyd silently walked out of the room and out of the air temple summoning his elemental dragon and left heading towards Ninjago city.

"That's not good." Nya said aloud. "Come on we have to go after him!" Kai ordered and followed after Lloyd. The other kick on his heels.

"Oh, dear." Sensei Wu said quickly sipping down his tea.

(Third Person P.O.V)

____ Ninjago ____

Acronix was nosing around the Ninjago city museum gift shop swiping a BorgPad.

He was fascinated by modern life and truth be told was a little envious that his big brother got to see all this progress unfold.

Acronix became distracted from his new fascination with the BorgPad now in his possession by the loud sound and gathering crowd of people.

Acronix snuck closer to a window to see what this gathering was all about. Many of the people in the crowd were holding up similar devices to his newly acquired BorgPad directed towards the stage.

Acronix's mouth fell open, almost dropping his BorgPad in the process. "Eris?" Acronix said aloud and rubbed his eyes in disbelief.

Krux chuckled coming up behind his little brother. "No, Acronix. Sadly not." Krux informed him and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "That is her grand-daughter (Y/N)."

"They look so alike." Acronix said out loud in wonder. "Indeed." Krux chuckled. "I myself did a double-take upon seeing her the first time she set foot in the museum."

"I even had a portrait of Eris brought to the museum just in case she ever came back." Krux admitted to his brother. It hadn't been easy but as Dr Sunders he had managed to secure it from Clutch Powers.

"That means Eris's daughter survived?" Acronix asked his brother. Krux understood what his brother was actually asking. Krux let out a heavy sigh. "I don't understand it myself but she did survive but according to (Y/N). Hela went mad on her quest for justice to what happened to her family at the hand of the elemental masters." Krux explained to his brother.

"Understandable." Acronix said nodding his head as he thought about it. "She was only a small child when she survived that massacre. That had to have left heavy scars on her mind." Krux solemnly nodded.

"Do you want to know the best part?" Krux teased. "What?" Acronix asked. "She's on a quest to find the one responsible for the death of Eris and the Anicondria and to eliminate them." Krux informed him with a sadistic grin. "Oh." Acronix exclaimed as the pair let out an evil laugh together.

(Third Person P.O.V)

They were having fun (Y/N) having a small but genuine smile on her face. Morro had to admit that even he was enjoying this. Though it was probably because of who he was with rather than what he was doing.

During a small break to allow them a breather. Morro whispered something into (Y/N) ear. "Choreography?" (Y/N) questioned the ghost. "Don't worry, it's just fighting styles but for music." Morro explained. (Y/N) paused for a moment before nodding in agreement to what Morro was suggesting to her. Morro beamed at this. "Don't worry just follow my lead." Morro encouraged with a wink.

"That was ah- pretty good." Morro muttered. "Not bad yourself." (Y/N) complemented. "Ghoultar love drums!" Ghoultar laughed triumphantly. The group burst out laughing at the ghost's enthusiasm.

They were all too wrapped up in the good time they were having to notice the elemental dragons approaching.

Lloyd jumped off his elemental dragon and broke out into a fierce sprint, an action that did not go unnoticed.

"Wow! The Green Ninja!" A fan squealed at the sight of Lloyd making his way through the crowd. "He's soooo hot!" shrieked an obnoxious fangirl.

Lloyd said nothing. Just walked right up onto the stage and grabbed (Y/N) arms and dragged her off stage mid-song. Catching (Y/N) off guard. The music came to a screeching halt just in time for everyone to hear. "Ninja! What are you doing!?" (Y/N) spat in annoyance.

Lloyd said nothing. He just kept dragging her by the arm and off the stage.

"Unhand me! Now!" (Y/N) ordered in annoyance. "Hands off Lloyd." Morro shouted shoving the green ninja in hopes of getting him to let go of (Y/N). Unfortunately, Lloyd's grip was strong and took (Y/N) with him as he fell off the stage.

The concert-goers quickly backed away from the vicinity not wanting to get caught in the scuffle as (Y/N) managed to wrench her hand free from the green ninja's grasp.

"(Y/N)." Morro called jumping off the stage to help her up. Lloyd made a second attempt but Morro pushed him away from (Y/N). "Hands off, Lloyd!" Morro said very firmly. She was still weakened from the mysterious powerful wave that had swept through Ninjago. Which still had Morro and the ghost warriors on high alert.

"What do you want with (Y/N)?" Wrayth loudly demanded his chains already out. "That's none of your concern." The green ninja spoke gravelly. "Listen here dragon breath-" The ghost warrior growled at the green ninja. "Wrayth." Morro started, as he put a reassuring hand on the chain master's shoulder. "It's alright Just let us handle this."

(Y/N) grimaced slightly. But not slight enough for no one to notice. Morro stood closer to her. Just in case she needed him.

Lloyd glanced at Morro's face. The master of wind didn't have his mask on anymore. In fact he looked... worried. Worried!? Morro never looked worried. He always hides that expression, along with fear or any other signs of weakness.

The ghost warrior was hesitant, but Wrayth soon took a step back and allowed Morro and (Y/N) to proceed with dealing with the green ninja.

"(Y/N)?" Lloyd questioned. He sensed that something was up. Morro snarled at Lloyd. As (Y/N) shook off the dizziness.

"Don't touch her, whelp." Morro sneered demeaningly at the troubled teen. His eyes narrowed dangerously at the mere thought. It was sorely tempting to tear Lloyd to shreds. It's not like it would take that long. Maybe he should...

"Morro." (Y/N) said, jarring the master of wind from his thoughts. The look on her face told him that she knew what he was thinking and disapproved of it.

"He needs to keep his greasy mitts to himself." Morro snidely commented. Lloyd growled back. "I agree with Morro." (Y/N) calmly stated this stopped Lloyd's growling almost immediately.

Morro gave a smug look to the green ninja. Morro knew it was eating Lloyd up inside that he was by (Y/N)'s side and not him.

Morro subtly lent in closer to (Y/N). All Lloyd would need is just one little push and Morro could make Lloyd lose it.

"Lloyd, why are you even here?" Morro questioned the boy. "I want to talk to (Y/N)." Lloyd snapped back. "About what?!" Morro snorted with a hint of laughter. "What is so important you had to drag her off stage, mid-song?"

"None of your business!" Lloyd snapped again. "Anything that concerns (Y/N) is my business." Morro smugly responded. Lloyd's eyes narrowed even further, into a thin line. The green ninja's patience was depleting more and more as the conversation went on.

(Y/N) stood in front of Morro protecting him from the green ninja's ire. "Don't! Even think about it!" (Y/N) growled out a warning to the green ninja. Morro held a smug look on his face from the safety of behind (Y/N).

Lloyd became so mad and depressed that (Y/N) was protecting Morro, Lloyd lost it.

"ARRRRGGGGHHHH!" Lloyd yelled as he snatched (Y/N)'s arm again in frustration and tried to drag her off to have a private conversation. Morro grabbed her other arm and pulled.

"Let go!" (Y/N) shouted at the both of them as they started a tug of war with her arms.

Lloyd didn't really know what he was doing, only that he was fighting with Morro until he heard that little gasp of pain and a ripping sound. Lloyd snapped out of it and looked at (Y/N), only to realise he'd hurt her.

"Oh, (Y/N), I'm sorry! I didn't mean to do that!" Lloyd apologised. "I didn't mean to pull so hard." (Y/N) glanced up at Lloyd after examining her torn sleeve with a frown. Her right sleeve had been completely torn off.

(Y/N) turned to face the green ninja. Her eyes glowing with rage. her right sleeve clenched tightly in her fist.

"Stop acting like a self-centred child!" (Y/N) sharply growled at the green ninja. "You have no right to dictate what I can or can't do. The debt to your father has been fulfilled long ago. I don't serve you anymore!" (Y/N) shouted in frustration and anger.

A myriad of emotions flashed across Lloyd's face while (Y/N) spoke, gone before (Y/N) could identify them, but the anger flared hot and dark.

The ninja charges into the crowd. "Excuse us, please." Zane apologies as the group made their way through.

Nya rushed over summoning an orb of water to threaten the ghosts. The boys quickly running to get to Lloyd. Their weapons ready in his defence. (Y/N) rolled her eyes at the display. She could already tell where this was heading.

"Oh, enough of this." (Y/N) spat in annoyance. She was in no mood to put up with this idiocy.

"Security!" She shouted. And from behind the stage curtains stepped some of the former members of the misfortunes keep. Flintlocke, Dogshank, Doubloon, Monkey Wretch and Clancee to be precise.

Dogshank leapt off the stage smashing the ground with her fists and causing the ninjas to topple over. The Ninjas were stunned, not expecting to ever see these five again. "What? How are they here?!" Jay loudly demanded as he picked himself up off the ground.

"Hands off, the captain!" Dogshank proudly declared. "We just got this one." Flintlocke added readying his pistols.

Kai was glaring at the ghost warriors that were currently standing behind (Y/N).

"Whatever is the matter?" Morro asked tauntingly, smirking at them, though he seemed to direct it mostly towards Kai.

"You goddamn know what's wrong, you bastard!" Kai spat at him, his glaring seemingly going up a notch. Morro's smirk grew wider.

"Why now, that's no way for a ninja to talk." Morro drawled in a condescending tone. "Your Master would be displeased with you." Morro cackled. The others joining in with him.

Kai let out a battle cry as he leapt towards Morro. Automatically, (Y/N) diverted Kai's attack. Kai getting tossed backwards, landing on his feet. A roar filled the air and both groups charged into the fray.

Kai went after Dogshank.

Monkey Wretch went after Zane.

Doubloon after Cole.

Flintlocke after Lloyd.

Nya was holding back the ghosts and (Y/N).

Leaving Clancee to Jay.

"Um." Clancee said, rubbing the back of his neck. "I'm really more of a roadie." Clancee said nodding to his beloved mop and bucket.

"Well, too bad I want to fight." Jay complained.

Monkey Wretch jumps onto Zane disorientating the nindroid and sending him stumbling about.

Flintlocke continues taking shots at Lloyd. Which Lloyd rolls dodging the shots and stands up triumphantly. Flintlocke slams the butt of one of his flintlock pistols into an approaching Lloyd's face.

Jay starts approaching Clancee who starts whimpering. Doubloon comes in and quickly takes out Jay.

"Thanks!" Clancee said and Doubloons mask spins now showing a smile before switching again and returning his attention to the fight.

Zane continues to haphazardly run about, ploughing through the fight while trying to knock Monkey Wretch off.

Cole and Kai both go for Doubloon with flying kicks but Dogshank intercepts them, she uppercuts Kai sending the elemental master of fire flying into the air. She grabs cole by the legs and swings him around before letting it go and crashing into a nearby vendor's stand.

This distracted Nya allowing (Y/N) the upper hand. Nya quickly dodged, landing perfectly with a flip.

"Stay away from them, water ninja." (Y/N) spat at her opponent. Ready to defend her ghostly allies from this threat. "(Y/N) please. I don't want to fight. Just stay back. Please don't make this any worse." Nya pleaded with her while backing away very slowly but still keeping the water ready to strike.

"Me!?" (Y/N) spat completely enraged. "You lot attacked us!" Her eyes glowing with outrage. Nya hesitated (Y/N) was fired up and ready to strike her down if she made the slightest misstep right now.

"Easy, (Y/N). This is all a HUGE misunderstanding." Nya pleaded again. Guilt forming the master of water's stomach. Nya couldn't do it. She couldn't be the one that fought (Y/N). Not this time.

Nya threw her hands up in the air. "I'm not fighting." Nya declared and backed away.

Soul Archer and Bansha shared a look. "You think a refusal to fight will make up for what you've done." Wrayth snarled at the water ninja.

"Wrayth. Not now." Morro said, scolding the chain master. Wrayth just snorted in response. "Whatever they'll all get what's coming to them in the end anyway."

"What do you mean by that?" Nya demanded. Wrayth let out one of his cackling laughs he's known for. "Are you seriously that dense?" Wrayth cackled away. "You can't even see what's going on around you? Or should I say listen!"

"Wrayth!" Morro, Soul Archer and Bansha scolded the ghost. "Shut that big mouth of yours before I shut it for you!" Bansha hissed at Wrayth. Wrayth's big mouth always was known for getting him in trouble. Whether she knew it or not.

"What?" Wrayth whined back at his fellow ghosts. "It's not my fault. That the ninjas are too stupid to acknowledge that our new boss is a serious threat. They want to keep playing their make-believe games that everything is ok." Wrayth pointed out.

"Wrayth is right." (Y/N) stated. This got all the ghost warriors and the master of water's attention.

"I am a serious threat. And it's about time they took me seriously." (Y/N) coldly stated. The hairs on the back of Nya's neck stood straight up at hearing the tone in (Y/N)'s voice.

She had decided she was done playing nice.

Zane came stumbling through knocking Nya to the ground with him as he tried to fend off Monkey Wrench.

Almost instantly the rest of the ninja's were dumped on top of the pair. They were now surrounded by the group of hostile former sky pirates and ghost warriors with (Y/N) at the head of the group.

The Ninjas were looking up at (Y/N) Nya looked as though she were about to cry. Cole looked as unreadable as usual but carried an aura of sadness. And Kai- His look startled her the most. She'd expected him to still be glaring at the ghost warriors in her services. Instead, he looked so...hurt. Sad. Betrayed. I never saw him look like that. Never. His expression changed to an unreadable mask.

(Y/N) frowned slightly, but then returned her attention to the Ninjas as a whole.

"What? Did you really think that the ghosts were my only backup?" (Y/N) chuckled at the confused ninjas.

"Do you see any monsters here?" (Y/N) said waving her arms about to emphasise the lack of monsters in the surrounding area. "You think my people would allow me to wander around here without supervision? You must be truly dense." (Y/N) said , shaking her head in disappointment at the ninja's lack of awareness.

How these six managed to take down so many powerful foes was beyond her. It had to be sheer dumb luck.

"I have a job to do." (Y/N) coldly stated. "And they're here to ensure I get it done." (Y/N) efficient for the dense humans before her. The ghost warriors and pirates all let out cruel laughter.

"You lot need to get it through your heads!" (Y/N) spat at the ninjas.

"I will find the guilty party." (Y/N) loudly declared. The marks on her right arm become clearer with ever conviction in her voice. Though only one had noticed. "I can't be bargained or reasoned with. I don't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And I absolutely will not stop, ever, until I find that person and make them crumble at my people's feet!"

"No matter what you pull. What stunt, trick or lie you use." (Y/N) continued to explain to her captive audience. "I. will. do. my. job!" (Y/N) spelled out for them.

"Do I make myself clear!" (Y/N) shouted, causing the ninja to flinch.

(Third Person P.O.V)

"She's mean. I like her." Acronix stated as he watched the tired go on from the safety of the musume windows. "Ooo! Someone has crush!" Krux loving teased his little brother. "Sh-shut up!" Acronix snapped at his twin who only burst out laughing at his brothers embarrassment.
