It was dark and storming outside, thunder and rain hammering the Bounty causing it to sway from side to side.

Something about this swaying was oddly comforting.

Kai, Nya and Jay were in the dining room, Jay was having a sandwich and Nya and Kai were talking.

"Why is it that Torch-fire Mountain is the only place we can destroy the Fangblades?" Nya questioned.

"Because the Fangblades are made by the original teeth of the Devourer. They're so strong that they can only be broken down in that kinda heat." Kai tells his little sister.

"Uh, could someone pass the salt?" Jay asked politely.

The bounty swung again and the salt bottle slide over to Jay. "Hey, thanks." Jay says to no one.

Cole opened the door and was all green in the face.

"Please, no one talk about food!" Cole says as he held the wall trying desperately not fall. "How much longer til we get there!?" Cole struggles to ask.

"Not long." Jay says about to take a bite of his sandwich but then he smiled and said. "Hey Cole, You look a little green, how'd you like a newly salted sandwich?"

Cole put his hand in front of his mouth and ran away and puked. I walk out to help him.

Cole was puking over the side of the Bounty I walked up behind him and patted his back.

"There, There." I say to him helping him up, Cole looks completely humiliated his face turning red.

"It's okay. It just puke." I insisted that it wasn't a big deal.

"I feel better... Just looking at you." Cole mumbled the last part so I couldn't hear.

"Look I'll drop you off at your room, but then I'm going to look for Lloyd." I say I didn't want Lloyd to be alone right now.

Cole nodded and we walked to the training room. When we got into the training room, I saw Lloyd tied to the boxing bag with tape over his mouth. A flash of purple appeared in front of me and I kicked at it.

Pythor made himself visible and hit me in the stomach. I groaned doubling over and grabbed his tail.

Blocking him from stopping Cole as Cole ran to the speaker and screamed that Pythor was on board.

Pythor through me across the room and turned Invisible.

Cole chased after Pythor and I walked over to Lloyd and untied him. Lloyd looked up at me with worried eyes.

"Come on!" I say and grab Lloyd by the wrist. We ran out to see the Ninja's hanging on the edge of a plank.

Lloyd jump towards Pythor and try to hit him.

"Hmmm...You think you can defeat me!?" Pythor mocked Lloyd I hit him hard in the head with my fist. He growled in pain and looked at me. "Bad snake!" I say with a smirk on my face.

Nya arrived in her Samurai suit and stalked towards him and Pythor shakes in fear. Nya swipes at him but he dodged. Lloyd jumped up and kicked him in the face.

"I got him... I got him! (Y/N), did you see that!" Lloyd says proudly I smile at him as Nya kept trying to squash Pythor but he dodged her attacks.

"Assss much asss I'd like to play with your overgrown toysss, I have a ride to catch." Pythor says and leapt off the bounty.

"Sssso long ssssuckersssss!" Pythor shouts from the Serpentine helicopter as they fly away.

Nya and I pull the Ninja up before they fall off.

____Timeskip____

The Ninja, Nya in her samurai armour and Sensei Wu went after Pythor. Leaving Lloyd and I on the Bounty; Lloyd was in bridge still trying to drive the bounty.

The bounty continued to swing from side to side without control. I had to grab the table so I wouldn't go flying into a wall.

"And you said Ninja's get to have all the fun." I say to Lloyd with a chuckle.

Lloyd looks at me with a smile on his face and continued to drive the bounty while we both looking through the window.

After a while, Lloyd spotted them and let down the anchor. It gets stuck in the green, snake-truck that the ninjas and Nya were sitting on.

"(Y/N), Lloyd! To Oroborus as fast as you can!" Kai commands with a serious voice.

"Aye aye captain!" Lloyd says and makes the bounty go higher. As the bounty goes higher, it takes along the truck with the Ninja's and Nya on it as well.

_____Timeskip____

A loud crash made the both, Lloyd and I look through the window. There we saw a giant snake... This must be the Great Devourer they had been talking about.

It looked at the old man and Pythor. It opened it's mouth and took the both of them.

"Uncle!" Lloyd cried out.

"Start the Bounty!" I shout and pull Lloyd by the arm. He looked at me like he hadn't had time to process what just had happened. "Lloyd!" I said to him grabbing him by the shoulders. He looked at me and came back to reality.

"Start the Bounty." I tell him and he nods.

Nya came on board and Zane, Kai and Cole literally come rolling in. Jay rolls in a few seconds after. Nya takes over the controls.

"Hate to tell you this... but objects in the mirror are a lot closer than they appear!" Jay shrieks talking about a screen that shows what's behind the bounty.

"Blasters are on!" Nya shouts and the snake bites the back of bounty. But the boosters hurt it causing it to let go.

"Take that you stupid snake!" Kai cheers. I'm holding on to Lloyd who is also cheering.

The Great Devourer slithers fast behind us. It digs into the ground and comes up with a roar on our right side.

"Uh... I think it heard you." Jay cries out in fear.

"We gotta go faster! That thing is gaining on us!" Kai says to Nya as he looks through the back window.

"We can't go faster than this!" Nya shouts through her teeth being pissed at the The Great Devourer.

"I'll try to make it to Scerritt canyon!" Nya shouts to the rest of us. "Possibility of us making it so far is lesser than 8%!" Zane blurts out.

"Never tell me the odds!" Nya shouts at Zane.

"It looks like it's getting in for next attack!" Kai warns Nya I hold on Lloyd tighter bracing for an impact.

"We're losing speed! We'll be losing height pretty soon! Throw everything overboard!" Nya demanded clenching on to the controls.

"What!?" The ninjas say at once. The Bounty lurches this time The Great Devourer hits one of the Bounty's engines.

The Ninja's start throwing anything they could get their hands on overboard and the Bounty picks up the speed again. But the Great Devourer eats up what the Ninja throw out.

"Uh.. is it only me, or does that snake look bigger than it did before?!" Jay screeches in panic.

The other Ninja's sees it as well and they stop throwing things overboard. The Bounty made it into a canyon, but the Great Devourer follows after it.

"Hold on! It will be ok." I shout to Lloyd I bit my lip in focus. The Ninja look to where the Great Devourer is, they couldn't see it, they thought we lost it. But then its tail came up right in front of the Bounty and hits the bounty.

"Abandon the ship!" Nya screams as we were all thrown from the Bounty.

I tucked and rolled protecting Lloyd from on the ground,

The ground shook as the great Devourer broke through the earth's surface and ate the whole bounty in one bite and turns around slithing away.

I look at Lloyd to see if he was ok. He smiles at me and nods. "Whoever not dead sound off!" I shout out to Nya and the Ninja.

I hear five whines, Then Zane asking. "How do we destroy a snake of that magnitude?"

"Yeah! It's not like we have an extra sacred flute lying around! Or wait! How about our awesome dragons! Oh, wait! I forgot! They left and let us hide and dry! Or What about our golden weapons that do nothing against a snake in that size!" Jay continued his panicked ramblings.

I walked up with Lloyd in my arms. Zane comes up to us and cheeks on Lloyd.

"Or an idea that's even bigger! Jay, you're a genius!" Kai said happily "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Kai asks Jay. "Probably not, but go ahead." Jay says.

"There's no time! I'll tell you on the way!" Kai says and gesturing to us to follow as he began to run. "Where're we going?!" Jay asked.

"We're going to destroy that thing once and for all!" Kai says and turns around to look at us.

____Timeskip___

We reached the junkyard in record time Lloyd hadn't even fallen asleep on my back yet.

"I like where this is going." I announced as we made it through the gate.

"Good idea Kai! If the Devourer likes to consume, this place is a full buffet!" Cole says. Jay walks over to the caravan and knocks on the door. "It looks like my parents are gone." Jay called out to us.

"Good! Better for us!" Kai says and puts a design on a car. Nya and the other ninjas gathered around it.

"I can't see!" Lloyd whined and I lift him up and put him on my shoulders.

"This is gonna be dangerous, and we can't have anyone around." Kai says and just as he finishes saying that a man in a funny outfit came by.

"Ugh! What's he doing here?" Cole asks annoyed. "Who is that." I asked the Ninja. "Right I keep forgetting you don't know a lot about Ninjago. He's called a Postman he delivers mail to people." Jay informs me.

"What's mail?" I ask again. Suddenly this Post-man let out a scream. "Phew! You, Ninja, are always sneaking around, giving people heart attacks. You're too quiet." He says to the Ninja.

"Sorry! Didn't mean to scare you. But you need to get outta here now!" Kai tells him.

"Uh.. well now.. I, I too have a job to do, and that's delivering the mail. Which I plan to do." He says and hands some mail to Jay.

"Look! Dude! My parents aren't even here. You really should be on your way!" Jay says annoyed.

"Them too? Le-let me guess! Are that also at that 'Take back Ninjago demonstration' too?" He said with a sigh.

"Take back Ninjago demonstration?" Jay questioned.

"What, you guys haven't heard? Everyone is getting together for a demonstration in the city. You know, for awareness all the Serpentine problems that have been going on lately." He says and walks over to his bicycle.

"Look at that! You guys are an inspiration!" Lloyd says to the Ninjas, as he continues to enjoy the view from my shoulders.

"You know what. Where ever you guys are, there's always trouble around the corner." The postman says and now the Great Devourer could be seen from behind him.

Now the snake was behind him. He snapped around just to scream in fear. "S-s-s-s-snake!" He yells and hides in a bin.

The Great Devourer eyes the ninjas, then the junk. "Hey! It's now or never guys!" Kai shouts and began use spinjitzu.

All the ninjas used their spinjitzu to make a tornado of creation. Lloyd hopes off my shoulders and Nya grips on tightly to us in her Samurai armour so we don't go flying into the tornado.

Out of the swirling vortex of junk they made... A big truck.

"Zane! Now!" Kai scream. Zane fired the recording from the sacred flute. It missed the snake.

"Zane! What was that?! This isn't target training! You're supposed to hit him! Not give him a haircut!" Cole shouts annoyed.

"May... I remind you that we just made this with junk." Zane shouts back. "Hope one of us created a reverse feature, cause, REVERSE!" Kai screamed.

"Take this." Cole declares and the big truck goes backwards and they hit a pile of junk.

"They're not filling me with confidence." Nya says still holding Lloyd and I.

Zane fired another recording but misses with that one too. The truck drives out launching two grabbing hooks into the Great Devourer and Zane shoots again.

This time it hits the Great Devourer right on its head and the Great Devourer falls to the ground.

Kai spotted a shining light green spot on its forehead. While he tells the others about it, they miss the big tail coming up from the ground, hitting the back of the vehicle where Zane's sitting.

"Zane!" Everyone screams and the Great Devourer slithers away.

"Where's Zane?" Lloyd shouts and runs over to the vehicle along with Nya and I.

"Right here," Zane says and push some junk away. "That was close." He says. The left side of his face was piled away and a robotic eye was showing through.

I reach through the Ninja's totalled vehicle and pull Zane out. I put my hands on both sides of Zane's face and examined it.

"Um..." Zane begins to awkwardly blush. "You should wear it with pride, Because a scarless warrior has not felt the hardship of life or the feeling of pain." I tell him with a smile and let him go.

"Perfect! Now that was a total failure!" Jay says. "Not total! Did you guys notice on is forehead?" Kai asked.

"Oh! Great! Let me make a note of that!" Jay says and pretends writing a note on his hand. "Giant snake has a little itty bitty weak spot that will be TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO DO A THING CAUSE THE THING IS TOO RIDICULOUSLY BIG FOR ANYTHING TO STOP IT!!" Jay yells having a complete freakout.

I roll my eyes and pull him up into a hug with Zane. "Are you done?" I asked him giving him squees. It couldn't have been easy for him to see that thing in his home.

"Things just got worse." Nya says pointing at the snake. It was slithering away. "It's heading towards Ninjago city! Zane gasped I let go of him and Jay.

"There's where my parents are!" Jay shrikes. "So is everybody else!" Cole adds.

"If it consumes the biggest city in Ninjago... there will be no stopping it." Kai gasped in terror at the idea.

___Timeskip___

(Third Person P.O.V)

Jay saw that the Great Devourer was about to eat his parents and began shooting lightning into its face.

(Y/N) used her meteor hammer to pull Ed and Edna out of the Great Devourer's way.

Ed and Edna got into there car and drove away as Ninja continued to battle the Great Devourer.

The Great Devourer tried to get away, but Kai jumped on top of cars, and landed in front of it. He fired his fire in its face.

While this was going on, a cameraman was recording it all. Cole took their car and threw it at the Great Devourer's face.

"Go ninja go!" The journalist shouted while clapping his hands.

The Great Devourer was about to stab them with its tail, but Zane froze it with ice. the Great Devourer only broke the ice.

"I... think we only made it mad." Jay shouted.

The Great Devourer smashed it's tail on the ground, making the Ninja fall to the ground. The Great Devourer then smashed it faces on the ground trying to squash its attackers.

But Lloyd and Nya come flying in the Samurai suit. They pick up a lamp post and jammed it in the Great Devourer's mouth.

"Samurai to the rescue!" Kai shouts to his sister. "It's breath smells worse than Cole's chilli!" Lloyd yelled out.

"Hey!" Cole shouted back.

The Samurai suit started to fail. "Get outta there, sis!" Kai screamed to them. "Lloyd." (Y/N) shouted to the boy.

"I can't! Whoa! I'm stuck!" Nya shouted back. "(Y/N)!" Lloyd yelped.

The Great Devourer was close to biting the post in half, but it got hit in the back head by the Ultra-Dragon.

"Rocky! Our dragons are back!" Cole cries out happily.

"It appears that dragons go through a metamorphose when they reach adult age." Zane informs everyone. "They too have found their true potential."

"Go get him!" Cole shouts to the four-headed dragon.

The Ultra-dragon understood and attacked the Great Devourer again, again and again.

The Great Devourer was getting dizzy from the Ultra-dragons constant attacks.

The Great Devourer hits its head into and tall building, nocking Nya's Samurai armour lose.

"Dragon to the rescue!" Lloyd yelled from inside the Samurai suit of armour.

The great Devourer slithered around a tall building but the Ultra-dragon refused to relent it attacks.

"I don't know what that thing is but I like it." (Y/N) screamed like a fan-girl.

"Yes! It's running away!" Kai cheers as the Great Devourer slithers down from the building but the Great Devourer tail comes up from underground and hits it up into the air.

"NO!" Everyone yelled. The Great Devourer slithers away into the town.

The Ninja were patting the dragons heads to make it feel better. All of sudden Lloyd turn around.

"You came back!" He says, making everyone look back to see Lord Garmadon.

"Give me the weapons! I am the only one who can handle all four of those powerful weapons. That's the only way to defeat the Devourer." He says.

"Eh? I thought we were supposed to do everything in our power to NOT let him possess the weapons." Jay says raising eyebrows in question.

"I've run every other scenario through my servers. It appears to be the only way." Zane says, looking at his left arm.

Kai shut his eyes thinking, he heard screaming and roaring. "Give me the weapons." Garmadon orders.

"Kai?" Zane asks, the other ninjas looking at him. "Only I can destroy it! Or prepare to--" Garmadon says before being cut off by Kai.

"Can't you quit yammering and just do it!" Kai says and throws his sword to Garmadon.

"When you have a chance to make a blow, it has a weak spot near its forehead," Kai informed him.

"I-I don't think this needs to be said, but we need these back." Jay says giving Garmadon his nunchucks.

"I'll do my part, You just make sure he stays in one spot. Mwhahahaha!" Lord Garmadon laughs and runs away.

"You're not getting those back." (Y/N) says and shakes her head at the Ninja. She wasn't going to go chasing after Lord Garmadon for the Ninja.

"Make it stay in one spot? STAY IN ONE SPOT!? HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO THAT!?" Jay yelled waving his arms in the air.

"Don't forget... we're Ninjas" Kai declared and lands in front of the Great Devourer. "Come on you overgrown worm... take the bait." Kai screamed at the Great Devourer.

The Great Devourer first lets out a hiss, then a roar. "Come and get me!" Kai shout as he was being chased.

Kai ran away from the Great Devourer. He dodged its tongue that hissed every once in a while. Kai stopped when he was on a small bridge.

The Great Devourer roared, and tried to attack. Kai jumped down the bridge and landed on a bus. Cole standing on the side.

"Nice run! Now I'll take it from here." Cole says taking over and run out to in front of the Great Devourer

The Great Devourer saw Cole he set after him instead. Cole jumped on cars as the Great Devourer was following him closely. Cole ran into an alley where the Great Devourer was too big to fit. It tried to get him, but couldn't.

"Wooohooo!" Cole yelled and made a little dance.

The great Devourer slithered to the top of the building to see Jay standing there. "Looking for me?" Jay yelled with confident.

The Great Devourer eyed him and Jay jumped off the building, landing on a sign. He jumped again to an unfinished building.

The Great Devourer was about to make him fall down, but Jay activated his true potential and flew up through the ceiling. There Zane was standing there defiantly.

"What took you so long?" Zane chuckled.

"Instead of a fire escape, what about an ice escape!" Zane says and jumps out into the air. Zane used his powers to create an ice slide. Zane on his feet and Jay on his back.

"Nice one Zane." Jay giggled.

Zane grabs Jay's hands and helps him on to his feet. They continue to slide on the ice until the Great Devourer crushed the way with its tail.

Zane uses his potential to make another ice slide and the two Ninja continue to slide and laughing now and then. when the path goes to an end, they flew through the air with the Great Devourer not far from them.

"No! NOOOOOOOO!!" Jay cry out.

"Now!" Kai yelled as the Ultra-dragon caught the flying ninjas. "You think it's working?" Cole asked as he looked to see if Zane and Jay made it.

"Now where is Garmadon?" Cole asks as they wait for him to strike. "He's not gonna hold on for so much longer."

"Look!" Lloyd shouted and pointed at Lord Garmadon standing on top of a building.

The sky above him was turning dark as he held his four arms with the weapons into the air. The Great Devourer looks up at him.

"You are the reason that evil runs through my blood!" Lord Garmadon spits at the serpent as a purplish aura surrounds the weapons.

"You bit me once. Now, you'll have to feel how it feels like to be bitten back!" Lord Garmadon shouts and jumps down the tower.

"Go get him, dad." Lloyd says to more himself than his dad. "His plan isn't to actually bite it, right?" (Y/N) asked Nya.

When Lord Garmadon hit The Great Devourer's weak spot, it roars and explodes into green slime.

People cheered. "He did it!" Jay screams happily. "No. We did it." Cole corrected him.

(Y/N), Lloyd, Kai, Cole, Nya, Zane and Jay all got down from the building they were standing on. Many people walked towards them. First was Jay's parents.

"Our little ninja!" Edna said and they both hugged him. Cole ran over to the Ultra-dragon.

"There you are, big guy! It's good to have you back!" He says and rubs Rocky's head.

"I don't... see my dad." Lloyd says as he looks around. "He should be around here somewhere." Kai says hopefully.

"Your notices are incorrect. He is not here." Zane says while scanning the place.

"Then our golden weapons are gone too!" Cole points out.

"I already told you. You were not getting those back from him." (Y/N) tells them eyeing Lord Garmadon footprints in the slime.

"I've got a feeling that you'll see your father soon." Kai says to Lloyd. "I know... that's what I'm afraid of..." Lloyd says sadly. (Y/N) scoped the little green Ninja up in her arms for some cuddles.

"Huh!?!--" Cole let out, but before he could say anything more, Nya cut him off by yelling. "Sensei!" She yelled and hugged Wu tightly.

"Huh! The old man survived how about that." (Y/N) says sarcastically putting Lloyd down.

"Ha! Would you look at that! He survived!" Jay says happily. The Ninja, Nya and run over to him.

"I can't tell how glad I am to see you!" Sensei Wu said and walked past them. He picked up his teapot.

"The Great Devourer left a bad taste in my mouth." He says and pours tea into a cup, then drink it. "Much better!" He says with a smile. "And still hot!"

"It's good to have you back, Uncle! But my father left! And he took the golden weapons!" Lloyd says giving him a hug.

"That's very true. The ability of the weapons are truly great. But the ability to better yourself makes you limitless." Sensei says wisely.

"Besides! We have the most important." Kai says and places and hand on Lloyd's shoulder.

"Do I really have to fight my father one day...?" Lloyd asks sadly.

"One day... But today we can feel happy that Ninjago is saved... For tomorrow... You will train for the day... Good will finally face evil... And a final outcome will be decided, of all time." Sensei Wu says in his teacher voice.

Author notes:

1) The Rise of The Great Devourer and The Day of the Great Devourer were combined it one chapter because one chapter was incredibly short.

2)I never want to see the words The Great Devourer for a very long time.

3) It was hard to write (Y/N) into this chapter.

4) this kept disappearing...
