__ Nexo Knights __

When Lloyd, following that small light of hope through to this new realm, he expects the worst.

He expects imprisonment.

He expects pain.

He expects execution.

He did not expect this.

"Well, that one hell of an icebreaker." The Book of Monsters snickered as everyone composed themselves. Pulling themselves and others from their impromptu hiding places.

Cole was helping Jay up off the ground and Kai was moving a long bench off Nya. Zane was helping his brother reattach his arm. Ronin and Dareth were helping the Serpentine back up onto their feet and detangle them from the furniture. Lance was loudly complaining about his hair being messed up and his armour getting slightly scuffed. Clay just rolled his eyes at the stuck up knight.

Axl was happily helping himself to some snacks that had been misplaced during the dragons strike with Aaron as Macy started threatening Jorah Tightwad with her mace as the cowardly man hid behind the Blok with Shia LaBlade, Brickney Spears and Jousting Bieber in front of the Blok.

Jorah Tightwad being the stupid idiot that he was brought up the King's Birthday Tournament. The one where he demanded Macy give him a kiss if he won. Which he thankfully lost and was forced to kiss Lance's sweetheart- his pet pig Hamletta.

General Magmar, Sparkks and Burnzie were holding Whiparella back from fighting The Sing-Along Siren of Seaguard whom herself was being held back from fighting by Mate Squiddybeard, Deadwood & Knot of the Forest Monster Army and some Berry Globlins.

Lavaria was nowhere to be seen; she'd taken this as the moment to vanish. But Jestro and the Book of Monsters were still very present with the Book of Monsters giving Jestro some juicy background information.

"See that big brute there? His name's Deadwood because all his leaves died ages ago... Along with most of his brain cells." The Book of Monsters informed Jestro, nudging his pages towards the large, brown tree monster with scale-like bark spots on his arms and a three-strapped metal belt with a grass loincloth hanging from the centre.

"And see that belt? That small brown knot of wood in the centre of Deadwood's belt is Knot. A second Monster that is very short-tempered due to having to constantly monitor Deadwood... Again because he lost most of his brain cells." The Book of Monsters continued to inform Jestro.

"What about the little berry guys?" Jestro questioned as he offered some of his popcorn to the Book Keeper and the Book.

"They're Berry Globlins. They're controlled by Bramblina. Like how Beast Master wrangles the Globlins. Only these guys spit exploding seeds that not only explode but they'll stain your clothes too and that stuff NEVER comes out. So beware." The Book of Monsters warned the Jester. Jestro nodded before turning his attention to the two angry ladies.

"So, what is it between those two?" Jestro asked referring to Whiparella and the Siren. "You stay clear of that." The Book ordered. "Word of advice: NEVER get in between two evil ladies that are fighting." The Book warned Jestro. The Book Keeper nodding along with what The Book of Monsters had said.

The Master of Earth took a long hard look at the three types of monsters present and noted that they all had the same glowing orangish-red eyes that (Y/N) had. "Well, guess they really are her people." Cole sighed out loud. "Hu?" Jay questioned the Earth Ninja.

"Look at their eyes, Jay. They all have the same eyes." Cole pointed out and Jay took a long hard look at each individual monster's eyes. "Kind of hoping that it wasn't true?" Jay asked his friend. "Yeah, a little." Cole answered honestly. "You know. She always did say blue was her favourite colour because her people wore it, I guess her memories were still a bit fuzzy." Jay half-joked and nodded his head towards a gathering of Sea Monsters.

"Jay, maybe you should hold off with any sea puns for now just to be safe." Cole warned his friend. "Good call." Jay gulped as a large tree slowly made it's way past them.

"Why is he doing that?" The Elm of the Dark Realm demanded, questioning (Y/N) for an answer.

"I have no idea." (Y/N) calmly stated as she looked on as Nidhogg viciously licked his helpless captives. "He was feed recently, so he can't be hungry." (Y/N) said out loud. "Maybe he wants a snack?" Chef Savage offered as a reason. "Then why is he not eating them just licking them?" Marquis de Seaweed questioned the chef.

"I can season them if they are not to his liking." Chef Savage politely offered. Nidhogg growled at him then went back to licking Wu and Lloyd. "I'll take that as a no." Marquis de Seaweed commented as Chef Savage backed away from the undead dragon.

"Please stop." Lloyd cried out to the dragon. Sensei Wu just continued to giggle as he was tickled by the dragon's long tongue.

"Lloyd, Sensei. Are you two alright?" Kai asked as he watched Nidhogg incessant licking. "I do not believe they are in any danger. The dragon seems to be grooming them." Zane explained after a quick assessment. "Grooming." Kai loudly exclaimed. "Yes. It means cleaning." Zane answered, thinking that Kai didn't understand. "I know that!" Kai hissed back.

"Why is Nidhogg grooming the enemy?" The Elm of the Dark Realm angrily demanded. (Y/N) shook her head showing that she didn't know that answer. "Well! You're his owner! Do something!" The Elm of the Dark Realm hissed at her. "I may have resurrected him but I am not his owner." (Y/N) informed the Forest Monster.

"Semantics!" The Elm of the Dark Realm spat at her. "Just do something about him while we fix this mess." The Elm of the Dark Realm growled out. "Yes, Elm of the Dark Realm." (Y/N) said her tone was dead, utterly devoid of emotion. This caught Sensei Wu's attention. Not (Y/N)'s tone but the name.

The Realm of Madness also called the Dark Realm was one of the Sixteen Realms parallel to Ninjago. It was a place where evil flourishes, because of an imbalance between the forces of light and darkness. Sensei Wu himself had travelled there to seek his brother's help.

"Nidhogg." (Y/N) called out as she walked up to the undead beast. Nidhogg just continued to groom Lloyd and Sensei Wu to his undead heart's content. "Nidhogg." She said again this time in a much firm tone. This got the dragon's attention mid-lick dowsing Sensei Wu and Lloyd in foul amounts of dragon's noxious saliva.

Sensei Wu was very glad that he had his hat. Lloyd was not so lucky. (Y/N) ignored their distress and continued to talk to Nidhogg.

Lloyd took his chance to speak with her. "Hi (Y/N)." Lloyd said as he wiped a large amount of the dragon saliva gross off his face. (Y/N) just ignored him and focused on Nidhogg.

"Um... (Y/N)." Lloyd tried again. This time succeeding in getting her attention. "Yeah. I'll fight you when it's your turn." (Y/N) huffed and went back to dealing with Nidhogg.

"Ah. No. I want to talk to you." Lloyd corrected her as he still continued to wipe away the dragon slobber. "I'll fight you when it's your turn." (Y/N) reiterated as she finally managed to get Nidhogg to let go. "No. I don't want to fight." Lloyd tried to explain as he squirmed out of Nidhogg's grasp. "You do realise that the tournament that you entered is a fighting tournament, right?" (Y/N) bluntly pointed out to the green ninja.

"Um... yeah." Lloyd said in a drawn-out sort of way. "But that's not why I'm here. I just want to have a talk with you." Lloyd quickly added. (Y/N) was about to say no. When Queen Selma and Pythor stepped forward.

"Ninja." Pythor snorted dismissing the boy. "Pythor. Don't." Queen Selma shushed the Anacondrai. "What?" Pythor questioned the Serpentine Queen. "They are our enemy. They are the descendants of the murderers of our ancestors, our oppressors. And you want us to play nice?" Pythor hissed at the Queen of the Serpentine.

"Pythor now is not the time." Queen Selma said in a hushed whisper. Queen Selma pleaded with him not to make a scene but Pythor would have none of that. He wanted revenge against the Ninjas and their ancestors and this was how he would start.

"Yes, it is. (Y/N) deserves to know just what kind of despicable being these ninjas are." Pythor counted with a sly grin on his face. He knew exactly what he was doing. "How they murdered her ancestors!, how it's their ancestor's fault Hela got to Knighton and started her conquest of revenge!" Pythor spat while pointing at the ninjas. The courtyard became very cold at the mention of this. With every Monster in attendance staring daggers at the ninjas.

"You were right joke boy, best show ever!" The Book of Monsters quietly whispered in sadistic glee to the twisted jester. "No kidding. Snacks and a show." Jestro giggled back as he stuffed his face full of complimentary popcorn. "Best part this is just the warm-up." Jestro giggled again thought this time with a mouthful of food.
