(Third Person P.O.V)

__ Nexo Knights __

The Fortrex was set on a course for the Isle of Vile. But they definitely wouldn't make it until tomorrow. So everyone settled in for the night.

Lloyd, Jay, Robin and Ava were in the lounge room enjoying some quality gaming time before bedtime. Clay was in the training room getting some night training in, Lance was in his room in front of a mirror slathering on his green facemask for the night, Axl and Dareth were having a late-night snack which just so happened to be cake so Cole had joined the purple Nexo Knight and the brown ninja, Macy was in her room reading comics about Ned Knightly, Aaron was still zipping around on his hoverboard getting the last of his board time before bed, Zane was already meditating, Sensei Wu and Merlok 2.0 were also asleep, Nya and Kai were having a private talk in the garage which left Ronin up to his own devices.

Ronin quietly listened in on the conversation between brother and sister as the Masters of Fire and Water talked in hushed whispers.

"So any ideas on what to say to her?" Kai asked his little sister. "Oh yeah, tones. Hi I'm your Aunt Nya and I tried to kill, oh and this is your Uncle Kai he kissed you that one time." Nya said sarcastically.

Both let out a heavy sigh. "Kai seriously. What are we going to do?" Nya pleaded with her brother.

Ronin rolled his eyes and retreated to spy on the others.

Ronin came across Axl, Dareth and Cole snacking on the chocolate cake to gather and decided to listen in.

"So, this (Y/N). What was she like?" Axl asked with a mouthful of food. "She was tough but fair, always stood up for what she believed in. No matter who would hate her for it." Cole said. "When Lloyd was little and his dad was possessed with evil when he had no one and Ninjago hated him because of it. she protected him, made sure he had food and a roof over his head and most of all that he was cared for."

"Yeah, (Y/N)'s a sweetie. Especially when someones being unfairly treated even more so if they are a kid." Dareth added with a sad sigh.

"I got the impression no one ever did anything like that for her when she was young." Dareth said quietly and held his spoon in his mouth as he sadly thought about it.

"She always looked out for the kids at my dojo." Dareth said, poking at his slice of cake. "What's that?" Axl asked with a mouthful of cake.

"It's where I train kids in Zoojitzu. It's a way for kids to defend themselves. Ninjago City isn't always a safe place." Dareth said doing his best to explain what he did to someone who wasn't from their realm.

"She sounds really nice." Axl stated with a smile. "Yeah, she is. We just didn't treat her right." Cole bitterly admitted. "What do you mean we?" Dareth hissed at the ghostly ninja. Cole noticed the displeased look on the Brown Ninja's face. "I'm not talking about you Dareth." Cole quickly explained. "I'm talking about my team." Cole clarified.

"We didn't realise a lot about her in the start and we judged her unfairly a lot." Cole said, thinking back to all the ruff encounters they had with her.

"I think you mean all the time." Dareth corrected the Earth Ninja. Cole flinched a little at the Zoojitzu Masters harsh but true words.

"Your team never treated her right." Dareth angrily declared as he shoved a hand into Cole's face as he yelled at him. "You belittled her and looked down on her and never took the time to understand her. You lot just blamed her for things and moved on." Dareth continued to yell.

Dareth was getting more heated by the minute and continued to shout at the Master of Earth in increasing volume. While Cole just sat there and took the verbal tirade from the Brown Ninja.

"And after all the mistreatment at your team's hands look at where she is now!" Dareth spat in rage.

"Back to where her life started, she clawed her way to freedom from all that darkness she'd been forced to live through and that's all been taken from her by you guys." Dareth continued to shout ignoring the green ectoplasm dripping down Cole's face.

The Brown Ninja pushed away his piece of cake and stormed out. "If I could hit you, Cole, I would." Dareth declared as he stormed out the kitchen completely ignoring Ronin as he passed.

Axl started to comfort the ghostly Master of Earth. "Hey, don't cry." Axl offered as he grabbed a tea towel off the counter for Cole to dry his eyes. "Why shouldn't I?" Cole blubbered. "We hurt her. I hurt her." Cole sniffled into the offered fabric.

"Do you know what it's like to hurt someone that bad?" Cole cried into the tea towel.

"Actually yes." Axl sadly admitted to the Earth Ninja. "What?" Cole gasped not believing the giant of a Knight was capable of such a thing.

"We don't talk about it." Axl said after a brief pause. "But what happened to Jestro, was our fault." Axl explained as he cut them both another slice each.

"Jestro needed us that day but we were so caught up in our own things. We didn't notice and that creepy book got a hold of him at his lowest." Axl said sadly as he handed Cole his plate with a slice of cake on it. "I think Clay takes it the hardest. He and Jestro were really close friends when they were little with Clay just being adopted by Merlok and Jestro being an orphan off the streets." Axl said, taking a bite out of his slice of cake.

"I didn't know." Cole said quietly. "I hope one day everything will go back to normal and who knows maybe it will." Axl said with a reassuring smile. "But that won't happen on its own." Axl stated and Cole nodded along.

"I think I get what you're talking about." Cole confessed as he put his plate in the sink. "I'm going to have a talk with Clay. Maybe we could help each other."

"Training room down the hall, just listen for the sounds of Clay swinging his sword around. You can't miss it." Axl informed him as he finished off the cake by himself.

Ronin followed after Cole once he was sure the coast was clear.

Clay was trying his best to clear his head with all that was going on as he fought against the holograms of Jestro's Monster Army.

Clay knew he needed to be stronger if he wanted to save his friend. Clay found his mind wandering to the girl he'd just heard about... "(Y/N), she'd defeated someone in Merlok's opinion was on par with Monstrux. And he'd been the toughest opponent Merlok had ever faced."

"And now she had an army and was inviting all challengers to fight her before she was crowned ruler of said army. What in the name of the Knights Code was she thinking? Was she so confident in her skills that she feared no opponent? Did she have some secret weapon? Or some unbeatable battle strategy. Was she a friend or foe?"

"Excuse me?" Cole asked startling the Nexo Knight Clay wearied around and almost struck Cole. Cole wasn't hit but was very thankful that he was a ghost.

"I'm so sorry!" Clay blurted out in embarrassment. "I-I was so into my training!" Clay continued to say. Clay momentarily cursed his poor social skills.

"It's fine. My team trains too. I know what it's like. I should have tried to make more noise before entering but we ninjas are trained not too so I forget that sometimes." Cole explained to the frazzled Nexo Knight.

Ronin listened on with his ear pressed against the door but soon lost interest and his attention was pulled toward the lounge room by some loud shouting.

It appeared to Ronin that the Knight on the hoverboard had crashed into the couch knocking everyone about and causing them to lose their game, around the same time Dareth had stormed in to cool off after yelling at the Master of Earth. Dareth was now scolding Jay for playing games at a time like this although choosing to ignore Lloyd because of his age right now.

"Seriously Jay! Do you ever take anything serious!" The Brown Ninja scolded the Master of Lightning with the ferocity of a mother hen.

"It's none of your business what I do in my spare time!" Jay screamed back at the Zoojitzu Master.

Ava, Robin and Lloyd sat back on the couch watching the pair yell back and forth with each other.

"What in blazes is going on in here?" Merlok 2.0 said as he fizzled into view on the screen. "This is no way to behave!" Sensei Wu added stepping into the room to scold the pair for causing all this racket in the house of someone they were guests of.

"What is with all the yelling!?" Lance loudly complained storming out of his bedroom Dennis close on his heels. Followed closely Macy who was annoyed by all the noise that was disturbing her reading.

"I crashed and it caused a fight." Aaron filled in the stuck up Knight while getting back up on his hoverboard. "Well, respect my nap times. I want to look my best when we meet this future Queen." Lance hissed at them all.

Macy facepalmed with a heavy sigh. "Lance. Please don't try and hit on her. We don't need to be making any new enemies right now." Macy said, pinching her nose.

"Stay away from (Y/N)!" Lloyd loudly protested. "Yeah! Keep away from her you creep!" Jay joined in before he noticed Lance's face. "Wait? What is wrong with your face?!"

"Oh, please. You ninjas totally blew your chances. Let someone else make a good first impression." Lance scoffed at them. Dismissing the ninjas as he turned around and left with Dennis nervously following behind him.

"Seriously what was on his face?" Jay asked Aaron. "Dude sleeps in a face mask." Aaron explained with a shrug. "So that's what that green muck is." Merlok 2.0 said out loud before returning his attention to the Nexo Knights and the Ninjas. "Now keep it down I need proper sleep for my magical brain to think magically." Merlok scolded them a final time before the tv cut out.

"FYI. The hothead and the salty one are yelling at each other in the garage." Ronin pointed out to Sensei Wu.

Sensei Wu sighed to himself before saying. "I'll have a word with Kai and Nya." And walking off to talk with his students.

"So, what about you? What's your take on this?" Ronin questioned the princess. "I'm going back to my room to read comics in peace." Macy hissed at the thief. "Oh, the new Ned Knightly ones?" Robin asked standing up from the couch. "I want to read alone Robin maybe some other time." Macy offered the Knight-in-training.

"Awwwww!" Robin whined but excepted and sat back down on the couch. "I'm going to go and check on Magic-man to make sure the fright of seeing Lance's facemask didn't scramble any of his data." Ava said in her deadpan way before sliding off the couch and heading off to her post.

"Hey, I'll come too." Robin offered. "No thanks, Robin." Ava said as she headed out the door.

Robin let out a bitter sigh and put down his controller. "We could try another game." Lloyd offered the knight. Robin shook his head. Both let out a bitter sigh.

Lloyd then looked to one and other and decided to have an honest heart to heart.

"I don't think I like being older anymore." Robin admitted to Lloyd. "I don't get to hang out with Ava just like I used to and I miss reading comics with Macy."

"Yeah, I don't think I really wanted to be a kid again." Lloyd lamented in the truth. "What I really wanted was to have (Y/N) back with me just like she was when I was little."

"I just wanted to be treated like the rest of the team but it's no fun if Ava can't join me. We started this together and it feels wrong being on missions without her." Robin explained with a heavy sigh.

"I miss (Y/N) very much. But this isn't the way to get what I really want. I can't undo what has been done." Lloyd admitted to himself. "But I can fight to show her that I'm sorry and worth giving a second chance." Lloyd announced.

Both Lloyd and Robin began to glow the light swirling around them and once the lights faded they had been returned to their proper ages.

Robin and Lloyd began to cheer and celebrate at the undoing of the spell. "Looks like our luck is changing." Lloyd claimed as they both left to find their old attire and celebrate with their friends.

Macy tried to bury her face back into her Ned Knightly comics but was having trouble focusing. Macy let out a large frustrated sigh as she flopped over onto the other side of her bed.

Ned Knightly was the greatest knight to ever exist. But nothing in her comics even hinted that he'd ever faced someone called Hela. But Merlok 2.0 verified that she indeed existed.

Macy let out a second sigh and lept of her bed pulling open her door and marched out into the hall to hunt down one of the ninjas for any possible answers they could provide. Only to crash into Ronin who was trying to calm down Dareth as the Brown Ninja was storming back down the hall.

"Ouch." Ronin said picking himself off the ground and dusting off his signature red hat. Macy helped Dareth off the ground. "Sorry about that." Macy apologised to the Zoojitzu Master. "Don't worry about." Dareth said accepting the apology. "I wasn't looking where I was going. I'm still so mad at Cole right now." Dareth also apologised.

"Hey, do you two know anything about Hela?" Macy asked them both. Dareth looked to Ronin. "He knows more than I do." Dareth offers with a shrug.

"I don't want to talk about it." Ronin objected and crossed his arms. "Look I just want to know what we are up against. She's already mad at me." Macy pleaded with the mercenary.

"Whoa. What did you do?" Ronin asked gobsmacked. "She's mad at me because my mum's side of the family slayed dragons." Macy answered honestly. "What!?" Lloyd objected having come back from getting changed into his green gi.

"Lloyd. You've grown, again." Dareth said looking the green ninja up and down. "Yeah, Robin's back to normal too." Lloyd informed them. "Looks like the spell wore off once we realised it wasn't as green on the other side." Lloyd chuckled at his accidental pun.

"Great for you and the other guy but princess listen." Ronin butted in. "As someone who's been on both (Y/N)'s brick list and her ally list. She's not the type of person you want to cross in any form. She can be your greatest asset when your allies and your worst nightmare as an enemy." Ronin warned the red knight.

"Wait? Your family killed dragons? Did you participate?" Death quickly interjected. Macy shook her head no. "They've been long dead before my time." Macy informed them. "Well then (Y/N) brought that one back from the dead." Macy mumbled the last part.

"That's great!" Ronin exclaimed. And Macy gave him a strange look. "Look once she's calm all you need to do is explain yourself." Ronin explained to the red Nexo Knight.

"How exactly is that going to help?" Macy questioned him. "If you're not guilty then you have nothing to fear." Ronin pointed out. "Look, I got forced into helping Hela because this nasty ghost owned my soul." Ronin tried to explain to Macy.

Macy went to question Ronin on everything he'd just said so casually but Dareth stopped her and Ronin continued his story.

"Once it was settled that I wasn't doing this of my own free will. She challenged Soul Archer and won my soul and gave it back and everything was squared in her eyes." Ronin finished explaining though Macy didn't get it.

"Look explain that they were all dead before your time and that you've never killed a dragon. She'll at least stop trying to kill you for killing her pet." Ronin said wrapping up his conversation.

"I completely forgot about the undead dragon." Lloyd exclaimed out loud and raised off to warn his uncle.

"The Green Ninja, everyone. The prophesied saviour of Ninjago." Ronin said sarcastically as he watched Lloyd run. "Speaking of giant creatures. I hope Borg is doing ok with Jormungand." Dareth said to Ronin. "I'm sure Borg is fine." Ronin said trying to calm Dareth's fears. "If not I'm sure we can get one of the Nindroids to cover for him until they build us a replacement Borg." Ronin said jokingly.

(Third Person P.O.V)

____ Ninjago ____

Cyrus Borg was happily typing away at his computer in his new fancy office. He'd just come up with his latest invention. The BorgWatch.

It would have a built-in GPS, heart rate monitor and even a temporal scanner. Borg smiled to himself as he bussed himself with his latest revolutionary idea. He came up with the idea to add a temporal scanner thanks to the weird adventures the Ninjas and (Y/N) went on.

Borg paused for a moment and Min-Droid noticed his sad expression and went to comfort him. Borg thanked his young assistant for his concern. "How's the city of Ouroboros doing?" Borg asked Min-Droid. "The formerly Lost City of Ouroboros is functioning at a steady rate. However, with the missing guidance of (Y/N) things are not progressing as they once were." Min-Droid answered honestly.

Borg let out a sad sigh. "They miss her. We all miss her." Borg sighed to himself.

"Query. What do we do when the Ninja fail?" Min-Droid asked the little nindroid held no illusion that the ninjas could undo what they had done. Brog gave his little assistant a melancholy smile.

"Well, thankfully the Treble-makers went to talk to her. So if the Ninjas fail I'm sure she will return." The inventor said with a comforting smile.

"No. The Ninja will fail." Min-Droid reiterated with absolute certainty. "How so?" Borg asked in a humorous tone. He had discovered that nindroids had the unexpected side effect of being quite humorous without meaning to be through misunderstandings.

"They have a one hundred percent failure rate when it comes to (Y/N) or a one percent success rate if their true goals are to become hostile forces to her." Min-Droid said with complete honesty.

"A one hundred percent rating and what makes you that certain?" Borg pressed for more info. "History." Min-Droid offered without hesitation. "Time and time again they have proven incapable of performing said task."

Borg let out a sigh Min-Droid did have a good point. "Well it's a good thing the Treble-makers are there then. Now speaking of time back to my latest invention." Borg declared and went back to his work.
