(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

Chaos made her way to Monstrox's Castle in the Lava Lands with almost the entire Lava Monster Army currently distracted by battle this was the perfect time for Chaos to snoop.

Whiparella and Beast Master were bored. Beast Master's two little Globlins Muffin and Poopsie started to go crazy pulling and biting at their chains and began to drag their Master from the room.

"Poopsie! Muffin! No!" Beast Master screamed at his beloved pets. Whiparella let out a heavy sigh and slivered after Beast Master to save the fellow Lava Monster from his rambunctious pets.

Cole got a good chuckle watching the eye-patched monster being dragged down the hall and the snake-like monster chasing after him.

Chaos sat outside on an outside windowsill tugging on the barred window. Making sure the coast was clear Chaos took a deep breath gripping onto the bars and whispered an incantation.

"Destroy all obstacles, break all locks,

Rid me of all stumbling blocks, C

rumble them just as dust,

So I can move onward as I must."

The bars began to crumble into dust until finally, they were no more. Chaos smiled in triumph and tossed the broom inside them climbed on top of it.

Thanks to the broom Chaos was able to sneak into the room where Monstrox was holding the ghost.

Chaos observed the ghost for a short time. "Those Globlins wouldn't keep the two guards busy forever." She thought to herself so she decided to take a chance.

"Pssst. Hey, you Mr Ghost." Chaos whispered down to the ghost in the forcefield. Cole looked up and was surprised to see a little witch looked down at him from her broom.

"Um... Hey, don't suppose you could let me out?" Cole chuckled nervously to the little girl.

"I could..." Chaos began to explain causing Cole's face light up. "But only if you answer my questions." Chaos finished causing Cole's face to fall a little.

"Fine. Whatever. Just get me out before they come back." Cole agreed to Chaos' demands.

"Oh no, I'm not falling for that." Chaos declared her signature cheeky grin on her face. "You're staying right where you are."

"Oh come on." Cole complained to the little witch. Chaos still just smiled at the ghost before reciting her incantation.

"Hear these words, hear my cry,

O' Spirit trapped inside.

Bindings come to me, I summon thee,

Follow me across any divide."

Cole was in shock as the platform below him started to levitate off the ground.

"What's with that face?" Chaos giggled at the ghost. "I'm full of Chaos magic, of course, I can make things float." Chaos beamed at the captured spirit.

"Now hold on tight Mr Ghost, you're in for one wild ride!" Chaos declared before taking off on her broom at high speeds with the forcefield Cole remained imprisoned inside trailing behind her.

Cole's shrieks as the platform followed after Chaos attempting to match the brooms speed. Beast Master and Whiparella hurried back to the chamber where Cole had been held before the sound of brick and mortar smashing caught their attention.

Both Lava Monsters took off only to be greeted with the sight of a hole in the wall where a window had been and the view of a little witch and a ghost making a break toward the sunset.

(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

In Spittoon inside the giant striped circus tent. Fear sat at a luxurious yet simple table, a large mirror set inside a golden frame sitting on the other side of the table.

The menacing-looking female ringmaster tenderly sipped some of her tea. As she watched the terrors of those she'd captured via the mirror across from her. Their delicious fears displayed before her.

Fear watched on with sadistic glee while Kai was swallowed by the wall of water.

Fear chuckled to herself, taking another sip of her dreadful tea. She was enjoying the boy's terror more than the disgusting leaf water she was partaking in.

Fear's eyes briefly flicked to the back of the tent were the strangely dressed pair of simpering wrecks remained locked inside cages at the back of the circus tent.

Their bodies shivering in fright, while their minds endured eternal nightmares of their darkest fears, regrets and secrets all on display for Fear's personal enjoyment.

Fear continued sipping on the brew just a flurry of well... Chaos incarnate came flying into her tent followed by a rather green looking spirit, the poor thing looked like it was about to be sick from all the jostling it had to endure during its impromptu flight.

"Hi, Fear." Chaos greeted waving at the other avatar from upon her broom. "Well, if it isn't the avatar of Chaos." Fear began to speak in a polite tone, set her tea down on the table.

"Why have you come to my domain!?" Fear hissed at the little one losing all politeness in her tone. Fear's eyes burning, trying to intimidate the little girl.

"Looking for answers." Chaos said completely unfazed by Fear's attempt to spook her. Fear let out a forlorn sigh stopping her attempt at spooking the child. "No need to scare those without fear I suppose." Fear mumbled to herself in disappointment.

"Anyway." Fear declared waving her hand about in the air in a theatrical manner. "Why are you here?" Fear questioned the younger girl still huffing in slight frustration.

"To question the ghost." Chaos answered honestly while she dangled from her broom. It was evident to all that she was getting bored with this conversation.

"Why, here?" Fear re-addressed the inquiry, making it clearer what she wanted from the being of chaos.

"Can't take Mr Ghost back to the Isle of Vile, Gramps will eat him." Chaos replied still dangling from her broom with a lacklustre look upon her face.

Fear pulled on her face out of frustration. "Then find somewhere else to play with your ghost I'm busy." Fear hissed at Chaos, returning to watch the relentless horrors of her victims.

"But I need somewhere where no one will bother us also everyone here is trapped in their nightmares because of your spell of fear." Chaos whined like a small child though doing spooky hand gestures as she did.

"Fine. Take it outside of my tent though." Fear hissed turning back to Chaos once more just wanting the girl gone.

"Yay! Come on Mr Ghost! We're going outside!" Chaos shouted at the top of her voice much to the cringing of Fear.

Fear's mind unfortunately wondered to the Elm of the Dark Realm. The oldest monster in existence remained truly ruthless he devoured the bodies and souls of humans, hellbent on revenge for his fallen brethren.

Fear vividly brought up some of (N/N)'s memories of the times he'd threatened (N/N) for being half-human. The very memories bring the taste of mud and blood to her mouth once more.

This accidentally leaked over to the wicked nightmares she happened to be tormenting the imprisoned humans with.

(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

Kai desperately struggled as the water swallowed him. His lungs burned for the lack of oxygen. His eyes stung, as he saw his life flash before his eyes.

As Kai continued to desperately struggle against the water current that was pulling him deeper and deeper into its murky depths.

When Kai though he was going to die he felt his back hit something solid and sharp soon followed by darkness encasing him. Kai found he could finally breathe once more.

Spluttering desperately, the Ninja of Fire sucked in as much air as his lungs would allow. This respite, however, became short-lived when Kai painfully cut his hand on something sharp.

Kai lit his uninjured hand with his fire to see what he'd cut himself on. That was when he found he was trapped inside a rusty, Iron Maiden.

Kai breathed in out of a shock to discover that the air was scented with death Kai had to force himself to resist the urge to puke. During his panicking, a set of eyes peered in on him from outside of the horrendous device.

"Who are you!?" Kai demanded, staring the eyes down. There was no doubt in his mind that those eyes belonged to someone that had the most immoral soul.

"Pathetic weakling!" The voice on the other side of Kai's prison spat at him. These words reverberating around the metal device making the words ring in Kai's ears.

"Dunk him again, longer this time!" The voice coldly ordered. Kai felt the Iron maiden shift. It was being lowered, the metal around him getting colder as it did.

Kai felt something wet seeping up his pants legs once more. The Ninja of Fire recognised what that awful sensation was, water.

The Iron maiden was being lowered back under the water once more. Kai screamed hysterically, thrashing around cutting himself on the spikes as more and more water seeped inside.

The taste of blood fills Kai's mouth, he was about to blackout before the terror could overtake him. Kai could hear crying beside him in the infernal device.

Kai recognised the crying voice... "(Y/N)!" Kai called out to the voice.

(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

A sea of people carrying pitchforks and torches had Nya trapped within a cage on the back of a wooden cart being dragged through some woods.

"Burn her!" A woman in the crowd shouted at her. "Burn the freak!" Another joined in yelling.

Some were just screaming and cursing at Nya, hurling all matter of disgusting objects at the caged Master of Water.

"Die!" "Kill the freak!" "Burn her!" The villagers all screamed at Nya. There faces eager to watch Nya suffer.

Nya spotted where they were taking her towards a large, strong tree that stood at the end of the clearing. Two young men were tying something to the tree... A noose!

Nya started to freak and thrash around in the cage trying to break out of the cage with her powers, but that was no use, her powers did nothing.

Someone threw a rock that made it mark by colliding with Nya's face. The taste of plasma fills her mouth, Nya gagged on it, spitting it out. That was when she overheard soft crying beside her from the figure buried in a corner of the cage.

Nya reached over to the hidden figure she'd unknowingly been sharing this cage with. She suddenly caught sight of a well-known dragon-shaped birthmark on the right forearm of the cloaked figure.

"(Y/N)!" Nya called out in surprise when she observed the glowing eye the figure had. There was no doubt about it this was (Y/N). At that moment the world suddenly shifted, the angry mob's faces blurred and transformed into Forest Monsters.

"(Y/N)?" Nya questioned as her hand went straight through (Y/N). "It's just a nightmare. It's just a nightmare." (Y/N) continued to whisper to herself, her hands covering her ears to block out the sound of the angry crowd.

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)!" Nya tried desperately to get her attention but it was no use (Y/N) couldn't even see or hear her.

(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

Kai suddenly found that his hands fell through the side of the Iron Maiden. "What the brick?" Kai questioned, looking around for an answer to what was going on.

"This is what you get for being weak Weapon!" The cold voice from earlier screamed. Kai through a dirty look in the direction of the voice.

When Kai turned around to come face to face with the glowing eye the figure possessed.

Kai lept back out of shock the figure didn't even react only rubbed her face with the back of her right sleeve bestowing Kai with the sight of a familiar dragon-shaped birthmark.

"(Y/N)!?" Kai squealed and went to hug her only to go right through her.

"I'm in her head." Kai said to himself thinking back to when Lloyd had shown him some of (Y/N)'s memories with Cyrus Borg's help.

"Oh... (Y/N)..." Kai said sadly the deeper realisation of what he was witnessing and experiencing.

(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

Jay and Zane watched on a Greed giggled and laughed her way around the battlefield enjoying every bout she found herself in.

"You having fun because I sure am." Greed teased General Magmar. "Do not mock me!" General Magmar shouted at Greed slashing at her with his blade.

Greed fires a shot dead centre into General Magmar's chest. The General turned into purple and gold smoke which is summoned back into the Book of Monsters.

"Ah, so that's it." Greed said out loud as she watched the Book of Monsters absorb the General.

Moltor and Flama stepped forward from the pack of Lava Monsters.

"Hey, little lady." Moltor shouted at Greed.Greed turned to face the twins. Flama is a molten mass of liquid lava and Moltor was solid rock with boulders for fists, spiked shoulder pad-like armour.

Flama let out a flamethrower like stream of flames at Greed. "Whoa, that's hot!" Greed declared as she dodged the stream of fire. Flama turns his flamethrower like stream at the two Ninjas who dive for cover.

Jay and Zane open fire at Flama with their Elemental powers. Moltor steps in front of his brother to take the hits of ice and lightning.

Zane and Jay continue their attacks, Moltor throws his fists toward the ground causing the ground to shake causing Jay and Zane to topple over. Jay dives behind a golden mailbox though didn't hesitate, sending a burst of lightning towards the Lava Monster.

Flama fires at Jay once more and Greed pushes Jay out of the way from the oncoming fire and they take cover. "Stay low!" Greed ordered Jay nodded in response.

At her scream, the pair of Lava Monster changed targets going after Greed.

Greed leapt on top of a golden statue. Moltor attempts to break the statue by combining his fists to smash the statue. While his brother shoots flames at her trying to incinerate the pirate.

The solid gold statue begins to melt from the heat of the jets of flames Flama was dolling out in quick concession.

Greed laps off the statue and land on Moltor's shoulders from above, Greed held on enjoying the wild ride cheering as Moltor tried to throw her off. "Hey, hot and heavy. Wanna play a game?" Greed asked the twins.

"How do you know our nicknames?" Flama demanded before firing off another jetstream of fire this time melting a solid gold fence.

"Wouldn't you like to know." Greed giggled, Moltor having enough of this impromptu game of the floor is lava managed to toss Greed off his shoulders. Greed skidded across the golden roads hitting the curb with a loud thwack.

Moltor aims his fists at Greed. Only for him to be tackled and held down by Zane, who calls out to Greed to see if she was all right. "Cheers cutie." Greed thanked Zane as she picked up her hat off the sidewalk.

Moltor took the opportunity to headbutt Zane to get him off of himself. Greed decided one good turn deserved another and immediately rushes Moltor kicking him in the head.

Moltor reacts in surprise though dodges Greed's next kick pulling himself off the melting golden road. Deeply annoyed, Moltor lashes out at Greed with a flurry of punches.

Greed leads him to dent as many golden objects as she could during Moltor's flurry of punches. All the while saying things like. "Missed me! Missed again! Got a little closer that time." The joyful smirk never leaving her face.

Jay raced over to help Zane off the ground. "You doing ok, Zane?" Jay questioned as he lifted his brother up.

"Yes, brother. Miss Greed lead him away." Zane informed Jay. "Well looks like his brother still wants to fight." Jay pointed out as Flama blast waves of fire at the pair.

"And here I was thinking Kai was the biggest hothead around." Jay quip, as the duo dodged the incoming attacks.

Moltor was seething with anger as Greed moved from railings to the rooftops of gold-covered homes and other such buildings, showing off her impressive acrobatic skills.

"Come on your the 'Heavy' in the Hot and Heavy twins." Greed mocked the monster. "You have to have more muscle than this." Greed continued to goat Moltor into causing more collateral damage.

Jay screamed as he and Zane narrowly avoided getting barbecued by Flama.

"To hot to handle for you? Want to trade dance partners?" Greed offered as she backflipped off a fire hydrant. Moltor charges after her braking the fire hydrant sending water spraying everywhere.

Water spraying onto a nearby Scurrier. The Scurrier screamed in pain from the water sizzling his lava skin.

"If your offering." Jay called out whacking away a Globlin with his nunchucks. "Help would be appreciated." Zane added as he held off an incoming pack of Spider Globlins with his ice powers. Greed fired off a shot at Flama distracting him.

Jay, in turn, hits Moltor in the chest with an electric charge and Moltor knocks the Master of Lightning through some bushes into the centre of a 24-carat courtyard.

A group of Globlins, Spider Globlins and Scurriers slowly started to form around him. Jay backs into an oversized fountain falling into it with a big splash.

The large group of Lava Monster let out a deadly hiss at Jay for splashing water at them. Jay saw the look of pure hatred in their glowing eyes before he cracked the top of the fountain spray water in every which direction. But the water pressure isn't enough.

The monsters laugh at the Master of Lightning. "Ninja, go!" Jay shouts out using his spinjitzu as a vortex to suk up the water and sprays it on his opponents.

The Lava Monsters screamed in pain as they are turned into purple and gold smoke which is reabsorbed back into the Book of Monsters in mass quantities.

"Retreat!" The Book of Monsters shouted. "But why?" Jestro questioned. "I can't take much more of this." The Book admitted to the evil jester.

Jestro calls out a retreat and the Lava Monsters start to flee after Jestro's Evil Mobile.

"Bye." Greed says waving at the fleeing Monsters. "Well, that was fun!" Greed declared, stretching slightly as she did.

Both Masters of Lightning and Ice approach her. "Oh, you two again." Greed said to herself trying to think of a reason they would still be around. Then it came to her. "Oh that's right your human, humans do that weird thing to thank others after a battle."

Before Zane or Jay could ask what she was talking about she lent over a kissed both of them of the cheek leaving a blue lipstick mark on their cheeks.

Both Ninja just stood there in stunned silence as Greed picked up a sack of stolen goods and left before they could stop her.

It was that moment when Robin and Lloyd arrived in the Rumble Blade from the other end of the town.

"Whoa, this place is melting! What happened?" Robin demanded after he had a quick look around at the street filled with liquid gold.
