(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

Kai spotted something grey swishes past in the shadows of the crowds. It was the hem of a familiar grey cloak. Kai set off running after it and as the grey cloak rushes by in a new direction. Kai did his best to keep up.

This person tumbles to the ground and huddles under their grey cloak. Kai steps up, determined to end this game of catch-me-if-you-can here and now.

He takes a handful of grey cloth. Of the fallen form and pulls hard to expose the person under it. To reveal a terrified child, whose face would match that of (Y/N) at this age. She was even wearing a similar grey outfit to (Y/N).

"Who... Who are you?" The child asked in fright. The little girl whirls into a panicked run tugging her cloak out of Kai's hand. "Wait! I'm not going to hurt you!" Kai called out and resumes her pursuit.

His target ran into the thick columns of the forest nearby the circus.The little girl ducked into a niche that Mother Nature had carved into one of the trees. She backs up as far as she can and huddles there fearfully.

Kai followed her taking a quick look inside the tree and reached in. "Please! I just want-" She kicks Kai in the face. "Ow!" Kai cried clutching his hurt nose and flops onto his back.

This leaves the exit wide open and the girl takes off like a shot. When Kai looks up, she sees her bounding through the trees with an agility that would rival any ninja.

However, a misstep sends her falling off a tree branch with a terrified scream.As she tumbles towards the ground Kai leaps in and catches a tangle of flailing arms, legs and cloak.

Once back on her feet, she looks around and let out a small gasp, an instant later, she scrambles back to a tree as Kai advances toward her again.

"I'm Kai." Kai said to the little girl."I'm lost." The small child said it wasn't a complaint, more along the lines of a simple, desperate statement of fact.

"I know." Kai said as he kneels down to her level. "But I've found you. You don't need to be afraid anymore. I can help you..." Kai holds out a hand to her.

"...but you have to let me." Kai told her. "Trusting others only get you hurt." The little girl said backing away slowly from the Master of Fire.Kai continued to try and chokes the little girl to come with him.

"Please, little one. It's not safe." Kai pleaded with the little girl."No." The little girl objected and took off running again.

Kai let out a bitter sigh. "This was going to take a long time."Kai tried to follow the child through the twists and turns of the ever denser forest, the little finally made her way into a cave. Kai let out a sigh before using his powers to light the way.

The was musty and it reeked of rotting fish. Kai slipped in some slosh and mud on the cave floor. "Ewwwwww!" Kai gasped as he lifted up his foot.Kai huffed in anger there was still no sign of the kid.

"Seriously! I've had enough of chasing after people today." Kai grumbled through his teeth.

It became harder and harder to trench through the mud and slug until Kai found he couldn't lift his feet. He tried, again and again, to lift his feet out of the slug to no avail. Then he heard it the deep rumbling from within the cave.

Kai froze in fear he knew that sound, it haunted his nightmares. Water. A huge wall of raging water was heading right for him and he was trapped in place.Kai screamed as the wall of water overtook him trapping him underneath itself.

(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

Nya sighed and lent against a table. There was no sign of Kai anywhere. Nya had run around this entire circus but her big brother was nowhere to be seen.

Nya heard some sniffling coming from under the table she was leaning on. Nya looked under the table to see a face would match that of (Y/N) at a young age complete with a grey cloak.

"Hey, are you all right little one?" Nya questioned the little girl. "Bad lady." The little girl replied.

"A bad lady?" Nya questioned the little one. Nya paused thinking that she must be talking about the one that was supposable terrorising the town.

Nya held out her arms and picked up the reluctant little girl. "It's ok." Nya told the little girl in his arms.

"No! You're a bad lady. You only want to hurt me." The little girl objected to Nya's pleading, struggling to escape Nya. "That's not true." Nya told her trying to calm her.

"Yes, it is." The little girl shouted at Nya as she continued to struggle."I promise I won't hurt you." Nya pleaded with the frightened girl. "That a lie." The little girl said to Nya her face was berried into Nya's chest thanks to the struggling. Nya snorted a little at the girl.

"And why is that?" Nya questioned moving the girl to make her look at her. Nya froze as she looked down at the little girl to reveal a skeleton.

"Because you already killed me." The skeleton replied to the Ninja of Water. Nya screamed and dopped the skeleton.

"Ouch!" The skeleton cried while Nya ran away from the skeleton of the child. The sounds of a child crying filled the air follow after Nya. The sound got louder and louder the further and further Nya went.

(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

Chaos spun the ghostly arrow in her hand with a questioning look on her face."What's the matter, darling?" The Siren asks her while one of the hypnotised humans handed her a drink.

"The book is missing." Chaos said still twirling the arrow. "So?" The Siren asked while taking a sip of her drink. "Weapon doesn't need that ratty old thing anymore, Hela's gone."

Chaos grunted a little but otherwise said nothing. She would have to wait until the Siren of Seaguard was ready to return home before she could do anything for now.

Spying a handheld mirror sitting unattended on a table Chaos reached over and broke it to remove a shard.

"Shard of mirror in my hand, show me what my enemies have planed." Chaos said chasting a spell.

The mirror became hot and Chaos tossed it into the air as the mirror shard projected what her enemies we're doing.

It showed her monstrox's castle in the lava lands and then inside the where a ghost was trapped inside a barrier.Chaos watched as the ghost sat there with a miserable look on his face.

"Oh, You found Gramps a meal?" The Siren questioned Chaos.Chaos rolled her eyes at the obnoxious nickname the Siren of Seaguard had for the old monster.

The Elm of the Dark Realm was perhaps the oldest monster around. Which is what earned him that nickname.

He ruthlessly devoured the bodies and souls of humans and was bent on revenge for his fallen brethren.He even carried a lantern in one of his many branches which he used to suck out the human souls. Something he liked to threat (N/N) with for daring to be half-human.

"Afraid he's going to eat you up?" The Siren teased the small child. "I'm watching my enemies." Chaos reported as she squashed a handful of unpleasant memories and went back to watching the ghost.

"Well, at least we know what the Lava Monsters are up to." The Siren sighed getting bored and ordering the men in the rubber seaweed suits to push her bathtub somewhere else.
