(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

As chaos swirled, across the cities of this corrupt Realm. Two figures made their way through the dense forest and thick swamp land in search of long lost souls supposedly imprisoned here.

Betrayal's lantern hanging of off her sharp scythe lighting the way as the pair continued to walk through the twisted and dead, long trees that were so thick and numerous that they blocked out every ray of sunlight, causing the forest to be in perpetual darkness.

Her grey, full-bodied hooded cloak dancing in the mist that surrounded her clocked form.

Deception trailed behind Betrayal, her bare feet coated in mud from the swamp. Though Betrayal was leading the way down the dark path, she was lost in her own mind.

As the creation of Hela, the Queen of Darkness, Weapon's life, was doomed to endless pain and cruelty from the very start.

At her... Well, one couldn't call it birth as no such thing took place. Forging would be more of an accurate term.

Weapon's or rather (N/N) as the Sea monsters so lovingly called her, forging had been a painstaking affair.

Darkness...

Thick unending darkness...

The darkness seemed to almost...sing to her...

Now a buzzing of voices all around her, rising and falling, so close yet far enough away to be unable to make out any words...

Just out of reach...

The inaudible gasps and screams as the weapon clawed her way around in the thick and putrid solution in the dark desperately trying not to drown as she thrashed around clawing at what contained her.

Her tiny nails scratching at the solid wall of what she was trapped in. Her legs wildly sloshing around in the thick black ooze in a desperate attempt for survival that only a small child could do.

It ached, as she dug her nails into the stone walls...

It burned, as the putrid solution seeped into the cuts on her fingers and under her nails...

Her tiny frame somehow managed to lift the cover from the sarcophagus she'd been forged inside, just enough for her to claw her way out, heavily covered in the substance, completely unaware of where she was and what she was.

The taint of the grave ran through her veins, Weapon had been forged dead before suddenly coming to life.

A Necromancer from the moment her existence began.

Unfamiliar with her surroundings, and untrusting of those around her, She'd then furiously attacked, enraged and confused.

She managed to kill three reanimated corpses before her tiny disorientated frame was overpowered.

While she had continued attempting to fight back, they managed to hold her down and until she had finally begun to calm down.

"I know you're afraid and in pain but that will pass." Someone had whimpered in her ear.

Once she was finally calmed down, this person cleaned her up from the blood and sat down with her, offering her food and medicine.

The man was someone Hela had hired to deal with Weapon upon her escape of the sarcophagus she'd been forged inside.

"Go ahead. You'll need your strength. Speech will come to you. So will your senses." The man told the tiny child that was Weapon.

"My name is.... " The man's name had been lost to Weapon a long time ago. And for good reason.

Weapon grew to trust this man who was in charge of her for the first few days of life.

Then two weeks into life the man revealed to Weapon that he knew what she was and that he was actually a knight there to kill her that she was evil filth that needed to die by order of the kights that served the realm under the King.

Then the man brought out a sword, seeking to gain the advantage and kill his target began to chase Weapon throughout the dungeons that she lived in with the man.

The man was determined to be the victor and take this thing's life. For the good of the crown!

But Weapon managed to disarm him, at which point mortified from the sudden betrayal of the man, she took the sword and painfully stabbed him in the back twisting it in order to cause her would be assassin as much agony as she could.

Weapon then ripped the blade out of the man's back, the man dying from his wounds.

As soon as the man had drawn his last breath the door to the dungeons opened.

This had been Weapon's first test...

Hela had known about the Knight in her ranks and set it up anyway. In hopes that he would be a worth first test for Weapon and if not she wouldn't be losing anything important. 

On that day a foul curse had taken a deep hold inside of Weapon. That resentment towards the one who betrayed her had taken on a life of its own.

She now noticed any slights against her by everyone around her and could only gain solace by punishing them.

(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

Deception was board as she trailed behind Betrayal, sloshing her feet in the muddy swamp as she did.

"This is so boring." Deception mumbled to herself as Betrayal lead them through the twisted and dead long trees to find the Forest Monsters.

"The entrance must be around here somewhere hiding in plain sight." Deception thought to herself after getting no responce from Betrayal.

Deception caught sight of her own reflection in the murky water and sneered to herself. "Of course each and every one of us still looks like a human." Deception spat at her reflection.

It wasn't easy growing up with this kind of visage... The face of the enemy.

You would think being brought into existence by an unconventional means would bless you with a lack of humanity... Sadly that was not the case for Weapon.

When she was younger all it took was one look at her face and the weaker monster would run away in fear of her. Except for the Siren of Seaguard who had been put in charge of her.

This left her alone as none of the stronger monsters wanted to deal with something so weak and pathetic as a human child.

Though that didn't stop them for joining in when it was time to beat her for training.

But Weapon didn't blame them she'd already seen first hand that humans were not to be trusted. So she hid under her cloak to ease the other monsters.

The Siren of Seaguard had even told her more then a few times as she grew; "Of course, you look like a human. Where did you think your Evil came from?" With the big chuckle as the Siren had said this.

"Use it to your advantage that visage of yours will allow humans to be completely lulled into a false sense of security when they face you." The Siren of Seaguard instructed her.

(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

Deception smiled to herself. "After all, every rose has its thorns."

"We're here." Betrayal said stopping at the stone door smothered in branches covered in thorns.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Deception smiled at Betrayal. "Let's say hello to the Forest Monsters."
