 ___Nexo Knights___

"Good heavens!" Merlok shouted alerting the others. "What's up, magic man." Ava asked taking her seat at the Fortrex's main console.

"A huge magical disturbance. The likes that haven't been seen in over a hundred years." Merlok continued to shout.

"Mmmm, It appears that an island has appeared out of nowhere. That wasn't there yesterday." Ava reported. "Best to call in the team and see what's up."

(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

Aboard jestro's evil mobile the Book of Monsters sniffed the air with a deep hunger. Almost drooling as he did.

The large living brown book licked its gruesome lips with its lizard-like silk bookmark tongue.

"Something wrong?" Jestro questioned the Book of Monsters as he watched the book's wild sniffing causing poor Book Keeper to run this way and that way to satisfy the evil book's demands.

"Honey, garlic, sea salt and graveyard soil." The Book of Monsters reported and taking another big whiff.

"Woah! That's a combination I haven't smelled in over close to two hundred years." The Book of Monsters said to himself.

"Huh?" Jestro questioned and scratching the back of his jester's cap. "There's some serious magic going around, joke boy." The Book of Monsters said rolling his eyes at the jester.

The sentient spellbook continued to sniff the air. "What's so important about that combination of smells?" Jestro questioned as he watched his mentor being carried around.

"Pay attention, joke boy!" The book growled. "Chaos magic both smells and tastes like honey and garlic. We've had this conversation before." The Book of Monsters sighed the last part.

"So? Someone's using Chaos magic? Big deal. We have Chaos magic, brick we have Chaos monsters." Jestro pointed out to the sentient spellbook. Still not understanding what the spellbook was so worried about.

The Book of Monsters pulled a face if he had hands he'd have slapped himself.

"Jestro, have you seen anyone else use magic besides that idiot Merlok?" The Book of Monsters explained to the jester.

"Oh!" Jestro said after a long pause then said. "So, who do you think it is?" The jester questioned.

"Not sure, but I hope I'm wrong." The Book of Monsters grumbled to himself. Then he was hit with a strong stream of scent. "And it's on the move." The Book of Monsters screamed in hysteria.

The Book of Monsters then shouted down directions to Sparkz and Burnzie the two monsters that pulled around the vehicle made of rock and lava.

(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

The Nexo Knight and the Ninja's quickly gathered in the command centre. As Merlok 2.0 and Ava explained what was going on.

"Sorry to interrupt helping our guests but we have an emergency on our hands." Merlok apologised to the Ninjas.

"We understand duty calls." Zane said bowing to the digital wizard.

"It appears that an island has appeared out of nowhere. That wasn't there yesterday." Ava reported after reading the layout on the screen.

"I know that island it disappeared close too two hundred years ago." The computerised magician exclaimed reading the same screen as Ava.

"That's the Isle of Vile. A powerful evil Necromancer ruled over the place till it and all its inhabitants disappeared one day." Merlok informed the Nexo Knights.

"Tread lightly, Nexo Knights. If those inhabitants have returned then well we'll have a lot more evil to deal with." Merlok said in a flustered tone.

"So we'll just work twice as hard." Clay declared and Lance groaned hearing this. "Easy super knight. No one said anything about more work." Lance complained causing Clay and Lance to begin to fight.

"Ok, so what so important about this Isle of Vile, Merlok?" Macy questioned taking over the conversation while Lance and Clay fought.

"It was the home of a terrible Necromancer, one who's power outshone even that of Monstrox." Merlok explained to Macy. "Even had her own army of Sea Monsters."

"Sea Monsters? Yum, fish." Axl said drooling slightly at the thought of fish.

"What happened to her?" Macy asked continuing to question the digital magician. Merlok wasn't always giving with the details and often forgot to tell them things until it was too late to be of uses to the Nexo Knights.

"Nearest I could figure out was that Monstrox was jealous and took her out and now she could be back. So stay on your guard." Merlok informed the Nexo Knights as the fight between Clay and Lance wound down.

"Ok, we're sorry but well pick up the search for your missing friend later. Right now we have to check out this suspected evil before something bad happens." Clay apologised to the Ninjas.

"We've fought evil in our own Realm before we understand." Jay informed the Knight.

"Do you require our assistance." Zane offered. "That's ok. We'll handle this ourselves after all it is a knight's duty." Clay explained to the Ninjas.

"But If you want to help watch over the Fortex, Merlok, Ava and Robin while we're gone." Macy offered as the Knights headed out in their vehicles.

"Aww, no fair. I want to help fight too." Robin complained to the older Knight's. "Sorry, Robin. You're just too little." Clay told him as he left.

Lloyd gave the short blonde knight a sympathetic smile. He knew what it was like to be treated like a child on a team.

"Hey, Robin was it?" Lloyd asked following off after the boy. "Yeah, that's me. You need something?" Robin questioned the green Ninja.

"Any chance you can tell me what is going on with all this magic?" Lloyd asked and Robin grinned and took to telling the green ninja, what he knew.

(Third Person P.O.V)

 ___Nexo Knights___

"Double time!" The Book of Monsters screamed at the monster's that were pulling the Evil Mobile.

"I still don't get it? Ok, so someone has Chaos magic. What got you so worked up?" Jestro questioned struggling to understand the book's logic.

"Because Jestro, it's what that smell is paired with that's giving me the heebie-jeebies." The Book of Monsters snapped at the evil Jester.

"Sea salt and graveyard soil?" Jestro questioned with an indifferent shrug. "What so significant about that?"

"Weren't you taught anything at that hoity-toity knight's school." The Book of Monsters grumbled out loud.

Jestro just shrugs again and give an awkward smile. "I'll take that as a no." The Book of Monsters sighed bitterly.

"Necromancer's smell like graveyard add sea salt and Chaos to that and it can only be one person. Hela." The Book of Monsters informed the dimwitted, Jester.

"Who's that?" Jestro asked having no idea who that was. The Book of Monsters' eye almost popped out of its cover.

"She was a Necromancer like Monstrox, just not as good." The book said offhandedly.

"Hela was once a member of the Wizards Council like Monstrox who terrorised Knighton with her dark sorcery. Only there was a catch she was from another realm."

"Another realm?" Jestro doubted completely befuddled. The Book of Monsters made an affirming noise, however.

"When Monstrox was still on the Wizards Council he was trying out his dark spells pertaining to other realms in search of Chaos magic he somehow pulled her through to this Realm."

"She was a survivor of some kind of conflict that killed her whole family and wanted revenge. So in exchange for her help with the Chaos magic, she was so intuned with, Monstrox and others on the Wizards Council trained her to use magic."

"And I'll tell you one thing Hela was determined to get her revenge and through that, she mastered every dark spell she could find, no matter the sacrifice." The Book of Monsters warned the hapless jester.

"Wait? So if she was all powerful?" Jestro began only to be cut off by the Book of Monsters. "Second best to Monstrox."

"Right, if she was Second best? Then what happened to her?" Jestro questioned his mentor.

"The same that happened to Monstrox and the Wizards Council. Merlok." The Book of Monsters pointed out with a sigh. "This is going to be a long and stressful day."

(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

The Fortex pulled into the nearest town while the Nexo Knight's were gone. So Robin took the chance to collect some supplies at the town while they waited for the Knights to return.

Though Robin was happy to have Lloyd help it was nice to talk to someone as he collected the supplies.

So Robin went on explaining to the green ninja about how Jestro found the Book of Monsters after wandering off after the embarrassment and humiliation of his failed performance at the Knight's graduation.

How the Book of Monsters was manipulating Jestro into seeking out eleven other spell books which contained evil powers, that allowed Jestro to summon a lava monster army, including a Book Keeper to hold the Book of Monsters so Jestro wouldn't have to.

And that the pair planned out multiple attacks on the Kingdom of Knighton, but were pushed back and defeated by the Nexo Knight's.

(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

Following her or was it their peoples return, groan pronouns were tricky when it came to magic sometimes.

Chaos was bided her time and plotted against the humans of the Kingdom of Knighton.

She set up a small pullable stand to peddle her tricks to unsuspecting humans that she passed on her journey of spreading disorder to the Kingdom.

After all, turmoil can come from the smallest most inconspicuous things.

Chaos parked her tiny little stand near a main road of the village to watch and wait soon a small blue knight came walking past.

The blond in green noticed the golden toffee apples she was selling. "Oh, those look yummy." Lloyd said looking at the treat with hungry eyes he always did have a sweet tooth.

Chaos hid her sly smirk under the brim of her witches hat. "Find something you like?" Robin giggled and stood next to Lloyd.

"They come in pairs because they're part of a funny tradition." Chaos told them with a sweet and innocent smile.

"Funny tradition? Robin chuckled at the cute girl that was running this tiny stand.

"The lady that raised me said they can grant a wish between two people but only if they share." Chaos explained leaving out a few details to seal the deal.

"Well wishes may not be real but we can still buy a pair to share." Robin said digging into his pocket for money.

Chaos pretended to only just noticed that the boy was a knight. "Oh, you're a knight? Here on the house." Chaos said and presented a pair of connected toffee apples.

"Oh, thanks." Robin said with a giggle trying to hide his giddiness.

"So how do we?" Lloyd questioned gesturing towards the joint treats. Eager to sink his teeth in to satisfy his sweet tooth.

"Each one of you holds a stick and pull them apart then make a wish about what you would like to have about the other person before you eat." Chaos explained with a big angelic smile on her face.

"Must be some parents attempt to teach their kids kind behaviour and niceness." Robin shrugged and broke the pair apart with Lloyd.

"Must be." Chaos shrugged still smiling and with that Robin said to Lloyd. "I wish I was as big as you. So I could be a knight like the other knights."

Lloyd chuckled at this and ruffled Robin's hair. "Don't be in such a rush to grow up, trust me I wish I was your age again so I could enjoy my childhood." And with that, the pair ate the treats.

Missing the smirk on Chaos' face.
