Nova blinked as the dust around her settled and moved her gaze only to have two other skeletons that had the main scheme of red and black with gold thrown into the mix come into focus. Fell and Edge, or Red and Edge. You could never really tell with new nicknames coming in by the dozens. She tilted her head as she watched them go back and forth over the machine. She felt the frustration coming in with waves along with anger, disappointment, unsureness, and more negativity than she could handle.

Nova felt herself cough as she watched sludge dispense from her mouth onto the floor. She felt her body become more feverish as her body tried to absorb the numerous amounts of negativity but failed as it collected more and more into her soul.

That was a problem with her heritage.

Demons adored negativity while Angels adored positivity. Both had a great dislike for the opposite emotions as they made them weaker or even deranged from their opposing natures. Her parents were the only ones that worked to fix the weakness of emotions of which she came to be from a perfect balance between the lines.

But her heritage activated from time to time that left her body weak or overly sensitive to emotions. Sometimes it leads to her being covered in pure positivity or pure negativity. Unfortunately, both Underfell residents activated her pure negativity aspect of which will take a few hours to go away as she got more used to the rising emotions.

Nova hated her biology sometimes.

"Huh? boss-"

"WHAT?"

"there's a babybones right there. they don't look too swell."

"WHAT!?!?!?!?"

Nova ignored them as she controlled the negativity in her soul. She could contain the negativity until she had safer options and more time to explain to everyone that high emotions around her weren't a really good idea.

She heard footsteps as she reluctantly looks up to see both Fell and Edge right in her bubble. She calmed the raging negativity in her as she looked at the crueler skeletons that looked her over. She huffed lightly when Edge picked her up by the back of her sweater while she hanged from the holding point.

"They Are Certainly Pathetic. Wouldn't Last A Day In Our World. Look How They Have No Claws Or Fangs To Help Them!"

"yeah, they don't necessarily have anything going for them. though they sure are adorable for a tiny thing."

Nova blinked as she saw Fell/Red looking at her with a somewhat soft gaze. She could feel the reminiscing feeling coming off of him in waves. She knew that the other was looking through the memories of a younger time that was freer than the current timeline. Nova huffed as she reached for Fell as even though he was a more...tough being he had the fluffy hoodie part that called to her. She saw sweat drip down his face as his expression turned unsure and looked at Edge.

She pouted as she tried to turn her empathetic ability off but since she was going into a purely negative state so her ability was going to stay on until she got used to the amount of negativity. She sighed internally as she felt both Fell and Edge have a conversation with expressions alone. She lightly hummed as she kicked her feet back and forth until she felt multiple other emotions and souls coming down to the basement with fast intent.

She blinked as she realized that only a minute has passed. This was odd to her as they could have teleported but then she thought about it of which made her realize that she was a child and they must have been trying to look for her up top before coming down to the abyss.

Nova blinked as she found herself being picked up and into the arms of Fell. She sneezed when the fluff ticked her nose hole of which made the two monsters laugh or chuckle. She hummed slightly as she nuzzled the fluff while crooning slightly. The negativity in her soul calmed from the action as the atmosphere got more positive but she had to let the negativity out at some point.

Then the door flew open which made Nova flinch and yelp from the loud bang. She could feel as Fell warmed up of which she knew the other was ready to attack. She could feel how on edge both were and how their emotions go dark immediately. She whimpered as the negative grew in her soul. She heard yelling and talking all around her but she felt the negativity bubbling with intent to burst.

She then heard this all over the talking and whispers.

"Let it all out, little one. Just let go."

Nova sighed as she allowed pure negativity to cover form. She didn't allow it to cover any of the clothes that held her as she looked up. She blinked as she noticed everyone giving her shocked looks or looks of pity. She blinked as she looked around at everyone while feeling the shock, horror, concern, worry, and other emotions that she can't understand yet.

"Little One?"

Nova looked at Blue then answered and explained.

"Call me Nova. I'm sorry, I didn't think this would happen. If I take too much of certain feelings, I get covered in either pure positivity or pure negativity. There was too much negativity for me and it will likely take a few hours until it goes away. Sorry."

"It's Fine, Nova! We Were All Worried When We Saw You Being Covered In This Goop!"

She smiled at them as she nuzzled Fell more who just held her more firmly.

Red looked down at the goop-covered child that thankfully kept their goop to themselves. Red would admit that the child was adorable and he could see why anyone would want a child to hold. It just caused this comfort in you that a child could only bring out by just being in their presence.

The Chi-Nova, was a cute baby bone that just made his parenteral instincts go haywire. Though now finding out the other was another version of Nightmare was weird but not as weird as certain AU's.

Red mentally noted to never leave anyone from a more...dirtier AU near them.

Though he now had to keep the literal Guardian of Positivity from Nova to make sure the Baby bone didn't die by...suicide.

Stars, he could feel his soul grow heavy with the thought of Nova trying to do that.

Damnit, he was already attached and he didn't care one bit. The baby bone just called to him and made him feel so protective. Paps already approved of Nova as Nova was that adorable. Though a small part of him felt bad that little Nova had to feel him and Edge of which set off the negative aspect to get used to the rising negativity. Though, Nova acted nothing like the bastard himself. Maybe because Nova had different circumstances and wasn't the same Nightmare.

Now that Red thought about it. Nova was a weird nickname for a male as it sounded more feminine. Hmm, wait. Is Nova a-?

"Red, May I Hold Them?"

He blinked as he looked at the sugar shot Blue who was giving Nova adoring looks. Nova gave a lazy chuff. They looked at everyone while familiar tentacles sprouted from their back. They yawned as they stared at everyone while letting their tentacles curl around them or reaching out to several others. Blue had one wrapped around his hand while the other flopped over Classic's head with a soft thump. Blue gave this happy charming look that spoke of how he wanted to dote on Nova with Classic also having this adoring look. Then Creampuff asked Nova something that probably should have been asked in the first place.

"Young One, It Has Slipped Our Minds But What Gender Do You Wish To Be Addressed As?"

Nova looked at them then blinked as she answered Creampuff.

"I go by female pronouns but there have been some days I wish to be addressed as they/them/their. Is it not fine?"

Red felt something in him break slightly as he saw the hesitance bloom on her face. Everyone gave various responses that just told her they were okay with it and Red giving her confirmation as well. Paps then spoke up and replied to her inquisition.

"WHELP, YOUR PRONOUNS AREN'T AN ISSUE BUT ALL OF US HAVE NO CLUE AS TO YOUR NEEDS! YOU ARE STUCK WITH ALL OF US UNTIL THESE FOOLS FIX THE BASTARD MACHINE! NOW, CAN WE ALL SIT IN THE LIVING ROOM AND GATHER DATA ON HOW WE CAME HERE AND THE LIFESTYLE OF THE WHELP? I FOR ONE DON'T WISH TO BE BACK IN THIS SOFT WORLD LONGER THAN NECESSARY!"

Red chuckled lowly as Paps walked cooly up the stares while acting like the badass he was. Red also saw as the baby bone looked in awe of Paps. He could see as her tentacles wagged in awe and wonderment at Paps. Red felt himself puff out as he saw the awe in her eye lights. Shit, he was getting more attached than he realized. Damnit, was his nesting instincts going off again? He thought he turned that shit off or shot it too hell. Or, Classic was looking to baby something and Nova happened to just appear? If that was true then Red was screwed as Classic was the very first Sans that was connected to all of them in some way. His wishes were also connected to them so Nova was going to be heavily babied.

Though Red would secretly tape when Nightmare and his gang(children) see little Nova. Oh, he will have so much blackmail, he could feel it.

Nova looked at everyone as she sat on the couch while Blue was dotting on her heavily. She felt as her tentacles twitch when Blue petted them in certain motions that reminded her of petting a cat or dog. She felt as her body relaxed from the stimulation along with purring lowly. Red was drinking a mustard bottle while Sans was doing the same with Ketchup. Stretch was drinking honey from the smell that wafted her way. Drinks and snacks came of which Nova immediately ate some sandwiches then immediately went for the cookies after. No one stopped her but watched her in amusement from what little she could gather. That made her curious about what type of multiverse this was from how relaxed and at ease they are.

Fell, or Red, should have been giving more passive-aggressive responses or more threatening stances. He also wouldn't hold baby bones thanks to his AU, along with Edge having some degree of grudge against everything. But these two were more relaxed despite being from harsher worlds so something was going on. Nova tilted her head as she held a cookie in her mouth while feeling her goop starting to slightly lessen. Looks like she could get out of her form sooner than she thought but then again everyone was more at peace than really threatening.

"Alright, Whelp, Time To Speak Of Your LifeStyle. We All Came To Some Conclusions But We Wish For You To Speak And Answer Accordingly. We Won't Be Mad, We Just Want To Know. I Am The Great Edge While This Is Red, You Already Know Everyone Else."

Nova nodded as she looked at everyone with curious eye lights. Then turned back to Edge as he asked away.

"Alright, Do You Have Any Family Or Siblings?"

Nova tilted her head as she answered truthfully.

"No on both accounts."

And that's technically not a lie. She has these lives parents but she had her old life memories that confuse her mind to where on some days she answers questions with her old life memories than her new life. Being a reincarnation wasn't a walk in the park. Your old and new memories mess up your mind and create conflict on what you think is right or wrong. Her new parents know that she held some secrets but never asked her of anything as they knew she would tell them when she was ready.

She once had a family but since she died then she had no family or siblings in a sense as her old life was gone. But her answered seemed to make everyone gain this darker aura that made her goop gather. She shivered of which seemed to wake everyone from their thoughts. Classic then spoke up.

"hey, kiddo, who has been taking care of you?"

That made Nova smiled as she giggled happily at everyone.

"The pretty black-boned skeleton! And the one dressed in stars! They give me a lot of love and attention that just makes me feel so fuzzy with joy! I call them Papa and Pops! Papa was going to show me something! I believe it was a surface realm? I've only seen images of it as I lived in a place that wasn't exactly near this place. Papa loved to show me Pops home as he lived near a literal galaxy! It was so awesome!"

Nova couldn't help but bounce as she was excited to see the mortal realm until all of this happened. And again, she didn't lie. She just didn't specifically say how she's from another multiverse.

Another misunderstanding happened of which she won't know until much later. Again.

Edge could only look at the baby bone with shock as she radiated pure joy about talking about the pretty black-boned skeleton. Edge could see Red, Classic, and Stretch looked shocked by this and he could understand. There are a certain amount of black skeletons and the more the whelp into detail the more Edge knew the black skeleton was the very destroyer of AUs. And the more she described her 'Pops' the more Edge knew was that Outer of the AU Outertale was the Father figure.

Well, shit. They may have just unintentionally kidnapped the Destroyer's adopted child with Outer also joining in. Say all you want about Outer but he was powerful in his way. His Gravity attack was more powerful as he could affect the very gravity around him along with making the gravity heavier than anyone could handle. Of which made the other float easily.

It wasn't a secret that Error had a soft spot for Outertale with Outer talking to the Destroyer from time to time. But Ink has notified everyone that they got more closer over something a few years back in some reset timelines. Nova maybe that answer as Edge can claim otherwise but he knew that Nova held this effect on them. Maybe it was her more Dream side power bleeding through but Edge couldn't help but want to be an Uncle to her.

Hmm, Edge just hopes the destroyer doesn't kill them before taking Nova back.

He does like his AU, despite how harsh and trashy it is.

What none of them knew was that Error and Outer got closer is because Error saved Outer's brother from falling into the Void so both just got closer as a result. They are best friends with Outer just helping Error with his haphephobia.

Though both did feel when Nova came into the Multiverse of which both knew that chaos was knocking on their door with her appearance.

Both hoped that she hasn't caused too many misunderstandings until her real parents come to get her.

They could only hope.
