Will I ever get out of the dark?

I watched as a video of Amy passed out on the cold looking floor play for hours. I clenched my fist in to a ball. After, I heard that she had escaped on her own free will, someone had left this on my own office desk by disabling the security camera.

They kidnapped her.

But who? I growled again. Knowing she is not okay drives me to the brink of sanity. It must be a bussiness man who I once quarraled with. I would never forgive myself if something happens to her.

'Give us the empire and she won't get hurt.'

Their words kept replaying in my head. I have to do it. Inorder for her to be free. I stared at the view of the sun shinning but I couldn't feel the warmth, because my sun was not here to warm me. I felt like ticking bomb, few minutes away from exploding.

  I can't breath without her and not in the sense that I can't inhale air but I refuse to live without her. I refuse to go on without her. I refuse to part from her.

When did she become my oxygen? When did she become the very thing I needed to keep going? Was it the first time I saw her when she entered the party in a jeans and a loose blouse, unafraid of what people might think of her? Was it when she agreed to marry me eventhough she didn't want to?

I didn't know when and how she became the center of my dark universe but she is became my sun.

The mere thought of her leaves my stone of a heart racing. I didn't know the exact moment of how and when I fell in love with her beautiful soul and in honesty it doesn't matter. All that matter is that I did fall, hoping she would catch me. I fell helplessy into her cloudy eyes. I never thought I would need someone to keeping going, until now, until her.

If I give them the money, my dad will come after Amelia for being the cause of this and I can't let him or them hurt her. That is why I will take one problem at a time. I will get her back from those idiots who kidnapped her and then I will figure out how to hide her from that pathetic excuse of a man that I call father.

" Sir, What do we do now?"Ethan asked.

I never left my gaze away from the view. I strained my eyes on the sushine that rebounded on my office.

  " Give me the papers and leave!"

I know my father will be furious but so what? I am not scared of him. If it is going help save her. I would give my life. I quickly held my keys and drove the place, they said she was in. I walked to alley. It was narrow and there was derbis scattered on the pavement.I didn't bring my men because they said they would not let me come in army. I still didn't have idea as to who did this but they will pay with their life.

  Holding the folder that holds entire share of the Rhodes empire, I looked to the two ways of the narrow dumbster. I suddenly felt a hand on my neck and gun on my head.

   " Don't look back and give me the paper." The man who sounded a lot like william tried to snatch the paper out of my hands.

" Where is she? I need to see her first." I demanded.

" She is fine and won't be hurt just give me the paper."

" I need to make sure first." I growled.

" You are no postion to ask such thing." He pressed the gun on my head to make his point.

I sighed and handed him the paper.He snatched it out of my hands.

" Now that we are done. Where is she?"

" She really is your downfall." He stated.

Yes, she is but not only is she my downfall but also my uplifiting.

No one except one man can say those words with so much certainity. I had a hunch that this was him and now I am sure.

" William?"

" It took you that long to figure out?" He asked darkly.

" Why are you doing this? Is it because I fired you?"

He laughed coldly, pressing the gun harder and said. " You will know soon."

  The last thing hard I heard was the contact of my skull with his gun. The gun smacked my head and I can feel a bone crack in my neck when I turned to the right from the force.

Why would he do this?

That was my last thought so I was finally lost in the sea of my dark mind.

Darkness enveloped my eyesight as I curled up my arms around my folded leg. Nipply my weak lids opened and closed, trying to see anything, but the blackness of the pungent room had obscuried my unknown surrounding. The stillness and chillness of the unsafe place had choked out air out of my lungs. Except the sobs and sniffs I release, there was no noise.After begging and crying for him to let me go, I had lost all hope and crumbled, staining my shirt with my tears. I don't know how long I have been in this stinky place.

Days?

Weeks?

It was impossible to even differentiate the day and night. I don't know why I am locked up here. Once a day, someone  would push a pizza and water through opening of the metal door which I would greedily shove down my throat. I am afraid I might live in this small room forever. I am afraid I might never see Damien again. It turned out he was right about me not being safe and I didn't listen.

But I still don't know why william did this. After, someone knocked me down from the back while I was taken aback by seeing william open the door of lily's mother supposed home. I woke up here with a mild headache. It felt like I had fallen in to one of my nightmares. And I don't seem to wake up from it.

The sound of the door being thrusrted echoed.I  looked up from my knees, startled at the sudden noise. I heard a movement of something coming closer, so I backed away to the cold wall, feeling someone's cold stare.

Suddenly, a flashlight was directly pointed at my eyes. Cursing at the brightness, I looked away. I heard a loud growl leave a man's mouth and I looked up only to look away after few seconds. The light moved away as the man took it with him. Then, I heard the soft click of the switch being turned on.

  A switch has been there the whole time!

I snapped my eyes to the bulky figure and let out a shriek of shock and fear. His olive green eyes were emotionaless, looked lifeless even as he shot unfazed look at my direction.

The next chapter is the grand finale. Idk if this story is ending or not. It is always hard to tell even for me! But I will know when I am done!
